I am having trouble getting the web and data provisioning on my Curve. Is there something going on that is preventing this?

Tables in scheduled state in HANA data provisioning

Hi,
Sorry for asking this question again since no one replied earlier in SLT community.
We just now created a new connection and when i am trying to replicate my tables its going in scheduled state ( z as well as normal tables).
I just trying replicating 2 ztables and MARA table and soon I click on replicate it goes into scheduled state.
Kindly let me know what needs to be done from my side.
P.S.: I tried checking status in LTRC, its showing as trigger status initial and also we have multiple SLT connections in HANA studio in data provisioning.

Hi,
You should check your Inbound or Outbound queue in SMQ1 & SMQ2. The messages are stuck there.
Double click on message & read the error details & resolve the same.
Check SM58 also for problem.
Also Register & Activate (re-asctivate) your queues in SXMB_ADM --> Manage Queue --> Register Queue & Activate Queue.
If the messages are stuck in queue, First resolve the error in Queue & check the messages.

1. When I click on the data provisioning link in the information modeler on SAP HANA modeler I get the following error:
"Replication is not configured.Contact system Administrator".
Please suggest how I can get rid of this error and start using the replication service.

Revenue recognition and error message" Missing data: Provision account Message no. VU019

Hi,
I have configured revenue recognition type "B" for my item categories and I am using BOMs where pricing is set at item level. The issue is that when I have more than one components in my BOM then I get an error message (Missing data: Provision account Message no. VU019) at the time of saving sales order though I have configured the provision account. However If I enter the same component/material in the sales order without BOM which will have same pricing data then it does not through the above error message. Please help what could be the potential issue.

Have you checked the Analysis from condition tab once you created a BOM? If so, what is the message you could see for pricing.

Hi,
The major difference is that DataServices is not real-time. You need to trigger the job(every time or schedule it) for loading data to HANA. In SAP SLT once replication is setup data replication is zero maintenance. Currently,SLT is the solution for real-real time replication.
Data Services: Can be used to replicate data from source system Extractors too(SLT replicates only source tables) and it can also be used for loading BW cubes data using Open Hub Destination. The list of sources supported for replication is more compared to SLT(as of now..)
SLT currently supports replication from SAP as well as few non-SAP sources.(table replication only).Its real-time and allows data transformation/ dat filtering capabilities while replication. Supports features like replicationg from multiple source system to same HANA box (to same schema too). For all possibilities I would advise to read the documentation available.
Going for SLT/Data Services is a call customer shoudl take based on what his requirement is (like, is real-time so important) or is replication from BW source or extractor is needed etc..

User data provisioning

Hello all,
first, sorry for the (I hope ;-) simple question, but I'm a total OIM newbie.
I installed OIM 9.0.1 on a linux machine. On an other linux machine there is an openLDAP directory.
Now in a first step, I just want to provision user data from the oim to the ldap.
How can I handle this. Do I need a connector? Or do I have to make changes on my oim???

Download and install the sun one directory connector. Update the lookup that defines all the provisioning properties to match that of your open ldap.
I would like to help you more, but you need to get some sort of base knowledge before we can answer much of your questions.
For starters, i would use the latest OIM, which is 9.1.0.1. Your version is very old.

Data provisioning using table import: error occurs!

I created a project according to develop
document. Objects include: schema\table\model\data\csv data.
When I tried to active the table-import data, error occurred.
The source code of tidata file is:

The error message is:

why do not try with expdp/impdp remap_tablespace?
REMAP_TABLESPACEDefault: none
Purpose
Remaps all objects selected for import with persistent data in the source tablespace to be created in the target tablespace.
Syntax and Description
REMAP_TABLESPACE=source_tablespace:target_tablespace
Multiple REMAP_TABLESPACE parameters can be specified, but no two can have the same source tablespace. The target schema must have sufficient quota in the target tablespace.
Note that use of the REMAP_TABLESPACE parameter is the only way to remap a tablespace in Data Pump Import. This is a simpler and cleaner method than the one provided in the original Import utility. In original Import, if you wanted to change the default tablespace for a user, you had to perform several steps, including exporting and dropping the user, creating the user in the new tablespace, and importing the user from the dump file. That method was subject to many restrictions (including the number of tablespace subclauses) which sometimes resulted in the failure of some DDL commands.
By contrast, the Data Pump Import method of using the REMAP_TABLESPACE parameter works for all objects, including the user, and it works regardless of how many tablespace subclauses are in the DDL statement.

The following is an example of using the REMAP_TABLESPACE parameter.

Unable to find custom table in HANA Studio - Data Provisioning - SLT

Hi All,
We are working on a scenario where in we have created a custom table in ECC and when I tried to find the custom table for performing replication using SLT , however, I am not able to find the custom table in SAP HANA Studio. The custom table related entries are maintained in DD08L, DD02L, DD02T. We are able to find standard tables in SAP HANA Studio which could be replicated using SLT.
Please could you let us know the reason or anything we are missing as pre-requisites for custom tables to be visible in SAP HANA Studio for SLT.

Since you confirmed that the custom table details are available in DD02l, DD02T and DD08L,
I would request you to check the language in which the source table is maintained/created.
If the table at the source is maintained in a different language than you are logged in to HANA St
udio, it will not be displayed in SLT Provisioning.
Please let me know your observation.

OIM 11g: Can't Map (De)Provisioning Dates in Custom Trusted Recon

I'm developing a custom trusted recon to reconcile users from a legacy IdM system.
The issue I'm running into is that if I map a recon attribute to (De)provisioned/(De)provisioning date in the Reconciliation Mapping, when I try to "Create Reconciliation Profile" it fails saying: "Xellerate User: Invalid Attributes [Deprovisioning Date, Provisioning Date, Deprovisioned Date, Provisioned Date]".
I'm not sure why it's rejecting these, but is there a workaround? Updating the reconciliation profile XML manually perhaps?

Have you added oimclient.jar in the CLASSPATH of Eclipse ?

Error while replicating data from MSSQL to HANA

Hello Colleagues,
I have created SLT configuration where the replication has to happen from MSSQL database for NW BPM for 4 tables. I have also applied a transformation function to convert date columns in the BPM tables to right desired format while replicating in HANA.
Now when I use the SAP HANA Data Provisioning Editor to replicate the data from these BPM tables, I am getting following error :
Conv.obj. Z_BC_BPEM_EL_RDS_021: Calculation job in sender system could not be started
In the configuration I have used Job Options as No of data Transfers Job : 003 , Initial Load Jobs : 002 , No of Calculations Job : 001
We are using SLT 2.0 and BASIS release 740.
Please suggest what could be done to remove that.

There could be number of reasons for this issue. We need to first start filtering one by one and take out the possibility. Please check the things in the following order.
1. As everyone mentioned, check if you have free available WPs. System is going to use Background WP for running calculation job in the Source system. Normally Basis define sufficient number of WPs but sometimes they are occupied. You can check using TCode SM50 ( you need to do that on each host in a multi App server environment ).
2. Try increasing your calculation jobs in SLT using TCODE LTRC --> Administration Data --> Change no of Jobs. Make sure you have enough free background WP in your SLT and Source system.
Incase the above methods do not work, provide the following information.
1. Where exactly you see the error message. Are you able to add the table to Data provisioning from LTRC.
2. Are you able to add any more tables and do the replication.

IW51 - Badi during save to change item data

Hello experts,
we are trying to modify on service notification the item data (classification data).
We are trying to do it via BAdI Interface IF_EX_NOTIF_EVENT_SAVE.
Once we reach that badi we want to update classification data using function BAPI_OBJCL_CHANGE.
We pass the document number we have to the object key of the bapi (qmnum + fenum).
But bapi returs us message that document xxxx does not exist.
When we test bapi vie SE37 it works .
But in the badi it seems failing cause the document is not yet commited.
Do you have an idea of how we could call the bapi to change item data with document number saved before ? (other badi, exit, other solution,...)
Or any other idea could be welcome.

Hi Kumar,
In addition to what Thierry mentioned you could also use the C4C integration via standard Operational Data Provisioning (ODP) interfaces. This integration was acutally built for SAP BW and allows you to access any C4C data sources. From my perspective you can also build upon that for a native SAP HANA integration. Please also have a look at this guide: How To... load SAP Business Suite data into SAP... | SAP HANA.
Besides that question let me also add the following: SAP Cloud for Customer already runs on SAP HANA since Nov. 2013. You may also use the powerful built-in analytics within C4C for analyzing data and any of your reporting demands. If your report should consider external data as well, you can combined the existing C4C data source with an external, so-called Cloud Data Source. VF11 - Billing Date should be defaulted with system date

Hi All,
My requirement is to default the System date in Billing Date for the transaction VF11.
Please let me know whether any Exits/BADI exist for this.
I tried to create the field exit but the problem is for this Billing Date field there is no Parameter ID , so how can I assign the todays date to Billing date field in VF11 else is there any other way to do this ????.
