Data recognition during transfer of data from cube to cube.

Dear All,
If I have 2 cubes in such a way that 2nd cube pulls data from the first cube. But in the first cube data is there till March 2007 and the second has pulled data till february 2007. But in a certain incident the ticks in "Data Mart status of request" in first cube disappears for all pulled data. How do I make these ticks reappear in first cube which will help me later to pull delta of data b/w 1st cube and 2nd cube into 2nd cube?

Hi Ratish,
It seems that due to structural change or "Initialization pointer" has been disturbed in the sytem . In this Scenario
1. Delete data from 2nd Cube. which fetches delta from first cube.
2. Delete initialization option for datamart (export datasource) generated by first cube.
3. Right click on first cube and select option update data into data target.
4. Select Initialize update. Then onwards system should able to deliver delta to 2nd cube.

What calendar were you syning to? Outlook? Google? Something else? The directions on how to resync vary a bit.

I have the same problem; used Migration Assistant to transfer all my pix from PC to MacbookPro, however dates of pix were not transferred. Date created as the date of transfer. Cannot sort my pix according to date.

On the basis of difference of these two dates I want to find out the period for which the material was present in supplying plant.
I am not getting the table through which I can get these two dates for a material.

Hi there,
Yes, it is possible - and very easy. Remember an OLAP cube is fully integrated with the Oracle database and therefore treated very much as a native object.
With 11g OLAP, cube views are created automatically when you define a cube using AWM. These views provide SQL access to the data in the OLAP cube meaning that it is very easy to transfer data into a table using techniques such as 'create table as select * from cube_view' or 'insert into table select * from cube_view'. You can use WHERE clauses to filter specific values from the cube into the table, and in 11g, an optimisation has been added to ensure that NULL rows are eliminated from the result set automatically (OLAP cubes are typically very sparse and therefore contain many NULL values)
With 10g OLAP, cube views can be added on top of existing cubes that have been created using AWM. It is easiest to do this using the [view generator|http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/bi/olap/viewGenerator_1_0_2.zip] utility from the [OTN OLAP home page|http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/bi/olap/index.html]. With the views in place it is once again very easy to transfer data into a table using techniques such as 'create table as select * from cube_view' or 'insert into table select * from cube_view'.

OTL Data Sent By Transfer To Bee From Timekeeper Passes The Value Set Id

My requirement is to send the Custom Field data in Timecard Layout to BEE. I followed following steps:-
I have defined a custom Value Set (Independent).
Defined Alternate Mapping for Input value.
Defined Alternate Defintion
Mapped field in the Time Card Layout.
After entering the time details and running the Transfer from OTL to BEE, I am finding that, rather value entered in the Timecard Entry, the value set id is being passed in the input value of an element.
Can someone provide the pointers on the missing steps to get the solution of the requirement.

IPhoto crashed during transfer, deleted photos from my iPhone and I can't find them anywhere. :( ^

I was transfering over 4k photos and videos from my iPhone to my iPhoto.
It said it was done and asked my if I wanted to deleted the files. I deleted, once I needed space on my iPhone. The thing is, it took a lot of time deleting untill the crash message appeared.
iPhoto deleted over 2k photos from my phone, I open the iPhoto now and it doesn't show me a single photo.
When I "get info" on the library it says the file has over 10gb, where are these photos? What do I do now ?
I tryed the cmd+option and restoring or whatever, didn't work, and now the "faces" keeps searching for something.

When you delete any data from your phone that you are syncing with iCloud, it deletes it from iCloud. When you deleted the contacts from your phone, they were deleted from your iCloud account.
Did you back up your phone while you still had that contacts on it, or do you have your contacts backed up anywhere else?

Data misplaced during Flat file data load

i have to load the data from the flat file(txt format) but i found some record are not populating in PSA.
the voluem of the data is very huge. how to resolve this and data load seems to be green in info package monitoring.

How did you conclude that the records are missing the PSA? Is it because the count is less?
There are the chances that the records are duplicated in the flat file.
Perhaps, you can increase the number of records per datapackage in the settings and can check the count.
If you feel, a particular record is not getting loaded, the load that record selectively through filter.
Split the load according to your convenience and load so that it will be easy to keep track of the records.

While doing transfer from one company code to other company code by using movement type- 301 ( direct one step) we got one error message '' Field Bus. Area is a required field for G/L account JDPO 16020202
    Message no. F5808
Diagnosis
    The value for field "Bus. Area" in the interface to Financial Accounting
    is an initial value but you are required to make an entry in the field
    selection for G/L account "16020202" in company code "JDPO" linked to
    the field selection for posting key "21".
PL. SOLVE IT WHERE IS THE SETTING.

We want to plan our production based on past three months actual sales billing qty. As these information is already available in SAP hence we do not want to enter this information in MD61. Best of my knowledge we can transfer / copy this information directly into SOP. Will any help me out by means of giving step by step process.

when I transfer SIS data I am getting the error as given below.

From = 01.08.2006
To = 01.10.2008
I am geting the folowing warning in another pop-up -
DATA AS FROM 01.09.2008 ONLY (PLANING START) CAN BE COPIED.
If I ignor this warning system does not copy any information.

The Apple techs are looking. But they can't find it. Nor can they find a back up on my laptop, Evidently when I backed up my Iphone to computer the calendar wasn't syncing. Since I only use the calander on my phone - I never noticed.
The Apple store rep that sold me the I-Phone 5 on Monday, was transferring my contacts and calendar thru I-Cloud (I never used I-Cloud before that moment - and always had it turned off). He successfully transferred the contacts - which are still on my phone), but the Calendar weirdly split into 6 calendars (2 of which were linked to my G-Mail which only had a few entries) (4 were linked to my MSN / Hotmail email and contained all the major events/data). I never created calendars that were separate or liked them to 2 different emails. I just typed entries into the I-Phone calendar. However, the calendar did exist on the new I-Phone for 24 hours. Something happened during transfer. When the Apple Genius Bar tech was attempting to back up my Calendar & merge the 6 calendars, everything disappeared in his hand while he was looking at it.
I am hoping that some really good data recovery expert exists that can restore the calendar that was in both I-Phones yesterday. It is completely devastating if I can't recover it.
Any help, or referrals, is great appreciated!!!!

Java.lang.OutOfMemoryError during transfer of large data from SAP to PI

Hi experts,
We are trying to transfer large data from SAP to external system via PI but the transfer stucked in sm58 of SAP system with 'error java.lang.OutOfMemoryError'. We have tested before this and we can only get approximately 100K of records to go through successfully. We neeed approximately transfer 300k datas per time. Current setting of max heap size (in mb) of our PI system is 512 at message server and bootstap tab. At servers general tab the max heap size (in mb) is 2048 and its java parameters are having the values below:
-Xmx1024m
-Xms1024m
-Djco.jarm=1
-XX:PermSize=512m
-XX:MaxPermSize=512m
-XX:NewSize=320m
-XX:MaxNewSize=320m
What need to be increased to solve the error?

We can set a limit on the request body message length that can be accepted by the HTTP Provider Service on the Java dispatcher. The system controls this limit by inspecting the Content-Length header of the request or monitoring the chunked request body (in case chunked encoding is applied to the message). If the value of the Content-Length header exceeds the maximum request body length, then the HTTP Provider Service will reject the request with a 413 u201CRequest Entity Too Largeu201D error response. You can limit the length of the request body using the tting MaxRequestContentLength property of the HTTP Provider Service running on the Java dispatcher. By default, the maximum permitted value is 131072 KB (or 128MB).You can configure the MaxRequestContentLength property using the Visual Administrator tool. Proceed as follows:
       1.      Go to the Properties tab of the HTTP Provider Service running on the dispatcher.
       2.      Choose MaxRequestContentLength property and enter a value in the Value field. The length is specified in KB.
       3.      Choose Update to add it to the list of properties.
       4.      To apply these changes, choose (Save Properties).
The value of the parameter MaxRequestContentLength has to be set to a high value.
In short parameters to reset values for ABAP side are
icm/HTTP/max_request_size_KB
icm/server_port_ TIMEOUT
rdisp/max_wprun_time
zttp/max_memreq_MB
Parameter to reset values for JAVA side is MaxRequestContentLength.

Issue when uploading Sales data from DSO to Cube.

Dear All,
I have an issue when I am uploading Sales data from DSO to Cube. I am using BI 7.0 and I have uploaded all sales document level data to my DSO. Then I use a transformation rule to calculate the Sales Value when I am doing DTP to cube. Cube has customer wise aggregation data.
In DSO I have NetPrice(KF) and Delivered_QTY(KF). I do a simple multiplication routine in the transformation from DSO to Cube.
RESULT = SOURCE_FIELDS-NET_PRICE * SOURCE_FIELDS-DLV_QTY .
At the moment I use Active Table(With out Archive) on the DSO to get the data since this is my first load.
Issue is that the figure (Sales Value) in the cube is incorrect. I am getting a very large values which is impossible.
Can someone please help me.

Hi,
are you sure that cube has customer wise aggregated data..since it will always aggregate the values of the key figures for the same set of characters...
did you checked the values for the key figures as well and if even they are inflated or is the problem with this key figure only.
During the data load the records may aggregates first for the same values of characters and then multiplication will be happening....if that is the case then you may have to multiply the values before storing it in the data package and then let it aggregate....can be achived through start routine...
but first verify if other key figures are also having the same issue.
