Data Record for IDoc

Hi All,
A partner function "Invoice Recipient" is populated in the IDoc. But if I check the billing document, this field is not there in the partner function. Can some one tell me how it is coming in the IDoc?
I'm new to IDOCs area. Expect your answers a bit elaborated.

Hi,
If you are talking about creating a BDC for Tree Control, then it may not be possible.....Node Clicks are difficult to Record....
Try for the Function Module...
Anyway your requirement is a bit different....On Some of the Txn's, BDC cannot be made...and I think WE02 can be the one......
Try some other approach.......

Just follow the steps:-
1.Go To Transaction WE05.
2.Click on execute.
3.This will open Inbound/Outbound list of IDoc
4.Just select any Idoc and double click on it.
5.This will open Idocs three segement namely status,data and Control
6.Double click on Data Segment and u will see the data in it.

Adding an existing segment in data record of IDOC

Hi All,
I am using basic type ORDERS04 to send IDOC out of SAP system.
Currently its not sending the segment E1EDP04 in the data record.
What should be done to get this segment in the data record of IDOC?
Also, can any one tell me the significance of VIEW when i double click on Message type of a particular partner in WE19.

What is the message type?
E1EDP04 IDoc: Document Item Taxes
First you need to find out why required segment is not being generated, is there any data missing in document due to which the segment is missing?
If that (missing segment) is sap-standard funtionality and you would like to include the segment in IDoc then you need to implement the user-exit. And to find the correct user-exit you need Message Type.

Meta data Overview for Idoc Adapter

Hi All,
Once i have cross check RFC destination & Port and tried to load the meta data it was succesfully loded with out ant errors.The same port i have mention in Receivr Idoc adapter and tested the sceanrio File2Idoc.It is working fine.
I have solved the problem my own ( And the tricky thing is i have deleted and recreated RFC dest,Port from XI to R3).However what is the cause of this error??

Insert new Master Data Record for an InfoObject using a Function Module

Hi @ all,
is there any Function Module for creating a new master data record for an InfoObject? Implementing a FM for inserting a master data record into a master data table is done quickly. I think there will be problems with inconsistency implementing a FM using a simple "Insert" Statement. Isn´t it?
I know it is possible to maintain an InfoObject in RSA1 (Master data IO> right click>Maintain Master data>execute(F8)> ...) but I have another requirement for using a FM.

Data elements for IDoc Segments to non-SAP system

Hi,
I need to create IDocs for transferring data to non-SAP system. When I create segmet fields should I create new data elements for all the fields with attributes specific to receiving system? Because there are many fields where the field attributes of SAP system do not match the corresponding fields of receiving non-SAP system.

IDOC: Problem with data filter for IDOC extension field

Hallo!
I've created an idoc extension for the basic type DEBMAS06 that works fine. Now I want to use a data filter for one field ( company code ) of my segment. Every segment with a company code different from 100 should be filtered and not send to the other client. But what happend is that for all customers that have at least one company code different from 100, all segments including the one with cc 100 were deleted and a error "Segment ... does not exist for message type DEBMAS" appeared on the screen.
Does anyone have any ideas about this problem?

Not sure about changes to be made at the filtering options.
An alternative would be sending the data to XI as it is and perform the mapping to remove the unnecessary segments.
Disadvantage: Unnecessary processing of segment would be done at XI.
Advantage: The integration logic would be completely handled by XI.

Step 2: Select your DSO just above your contents/requests/reconstruction tabs
Step 3: Click contents(Spectacles symbol) in the top area of your screen

Getting duplicate data records for master data

Hi All,
When the process chain for the master data, i am getting duplicate data records and , for that selected the options in Info package level under processing 1)a update PSA and subsequentky data targets and alternateely select the option Ignore double data records. But still the load was failing and error message "Duplicate Data Records" after that rhe sehuduled the Info package then i am not getting the error message next time,
Can any one help on this to resolve the issue.

Yes, for the first option u can write a routine ,what is ur data target--> if it is a cube, there may be a chances of duplicate records because of the additive nature.if its a ODS then u can avoid this, bec only delta is going to be updated.
Regarding the time dependant attributes, its based on the date field.we have 4 types of slowly changing dimensions.

No Data records for COPA Extractor when using RSA3

as Ashish wrote check in se16 if there are data for your selection criteria in tables you use in this datasource
if you use infoset check it in sq02 especially join conditions
if you use function module - test this module in se37

Missing data status for Idocs : HR ORG Upload in SRM

We are using ALE Idocs for uploading HR ORG in SRM system.We are getting some IDocs errors. 51 status is 'Missing data'.
Details description like below:
Missing data
Message no. HRALX00_ORG315
Diagnosis
It has been determined that the employee 00036837 has been received for the first time. However, not all the data that is needed to create a business partner has been received. In this case, the infotype 1001 and the subtype A209 have not been entered for the employee.
Procedure
Maintain the filter of the appropriate distribution model. To do this, call transaction BD64 in the source system. Add a new filter group to the data filter. Assign the following values for the filter group: infotype: 1001, object type: P, subtype: A209. After you have generated the partner profile again and distributed the distribution model, you can redistribute the relevant IDoc.
Please help me How to resolve this issue.Please let us know if you need any more information.

it s the best solution to your query to load the IDOCs manually using the context menu of the datapackage or IDOC --> manual update and then refresh the load as it is not throwing any error
check do you have enough number of process running in your system
check for TRFC logs

WBS data distribution for IDOC-PI-JDBC with system status 'CRTD' not working.

Hello Experts,
I am busy with a project where the PS project creation and updates should be transfered to the external legacy system through IDOC-PI-JDBC scenario.
I am using the BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN for this process. This scenario is working fine with the projects system status released (REL).
If the system status is Created (CRTD) then no idoc creation happening therefor no data distribution of work breakdown structure(WBS) to the legacy system.
Can anybody give me some suggestion of make it happening.

I did it with the help of my abap developer.
We implemented a BADI, and from the BADI we created the idoc.
When the idoc is there the legacy system receive the data.

Master data records for time dependant data

Hi
In R/3. say master data has 1500 records. In BW, while loading this, i get the same number of records in monitor.
But when i check the maintain master data for this info object, I find each row being duplicated. The difference being the valid to and valid from date. The info object is time dependant.
So my question is: this adjustment done...is it ok continuing forward or do we change something now so that i dont see duplicate rows?

everything is ok here (I assume you have timeframes for e.g.: 01.01.1000 - 27.12.2005 and 28.12.2005 - 31.12.9999).
If you are working on developement system now - change something time-dependent in your master data tommorow (in your source system) and extract delta. Two new periods will be created and you will have 3 records, e.g.: 01.01.1000 - 27.12.2005 , 28.12.2005 - 28.12.2005 and 29.12.2005 - 31.12.9999.

I have an scenario in which IDOC is issued via mesage control. So there is an output type for the IDOC in VF03 transaction.
Now i need to change the data to be passed to the external system. So i need to change the logic of how the data is retreiving currently.But the problem iam facing is i dont know the program where tha data is retreiving.So how can i find the program?

Exact Processing Programe ex..for EDI and ALE RSNASTED this Programe Check the Partner Profiles and picks the exact
Process Code , FM which Builds the IDOC ...
and finally the you should select the Output mode.
the Programe RSEOUT00 is triggered to send the IDOC out.

Problem When Try to add Master data record for User define form

I have made one user define form. And assign UDO and fields proerly in form.
But when I try to add the record from the form it will give me error
Invalid Code [Operation Master -Code] [Message 173-36]
I have already bind the code field of the table to one field in the screen painter.
