Data saved not readable

Hello
I have a question that I need help with, I have previously saved Photoshop and Freehand files from my old G5 onto an external HDD. When I recently tried to review this data on my Mac pro it is showing up as EXEC files, whichseem to be unreadable? I am a little confused as to why this has happened and would like to know is there a way to retrieve these files so I can attempt to save them in their correct format?

This sounds like there are no suffixes at the end of the file name.
That would be like Job22.psd (or .tif or .jpg) or Job22.fha or something.
If the files were originaly saved with no suffix then MacOS X is not sure what they are and by default assign an
identifier as being some kind of UNIX or Windows file and tells the OS that is an EXEC file. WE know that they are not EXEC files.
Try adding a suffix to files and see if Photoshop will open them. Might take a few tries with different suffixes.
Remeber to use a copy of the files first to experiment.

In the HEADDATA structure, STORAGE_VIEW should also be set as 'X' , in order to update storage location data
for example
BAPI_HEAD-STORAGE_VIEW = 'X'.
Also, PUR_STATUS corresponds to field MARA-MSTAE whose domain has value table T141, therefore values in the field are checked against T141

Data is not saved in the Real time Cube

Hi all,
After designing the layout in BPS ,when i enter the plan data in the layout (T CODE - UPXPM ),The plan data is not getting saved in cube .i have chosen the type of layout as Excel based.
    Please make me clear where the problem occurs.

External HDD "not readable" - Any way to recover data?

I have a MacBook Pro with 10.6.4
The external HDD is a 320GB 2.5" Samsung. Using my MacBook Pro, I formatted it to have a 250GB partition for TimeMachine, with two other partitions for Windows computers as I was traveling without my MacBook and needed to backup photos.
I used the HDD successfully for 3 months with no problems. But when I returned and tried to put everything on my Mac, Disk Utility told me I needed to verify and repair the disk. As it wouldn't mount, I performed the tasks that DU suggested, but now I am stuck with four partitions(?) which are not readable. And now DU does not give me any options.

The disk spins up normally, with no abnormal noises. I suspect there were plenty of Windows viruses (as I had to use many PCs over the 3 months), but the last time I used the drive successfully, it was on a PC and I successfully transferred items onto it.
Please could you advise on actions or further diagnostics I should do. Luckily I bought a 16GB flash drive to make a 2nd backup of photos, but there still important documents which I need to recover off the HDD.

The Windows partitioning complicates matters. Some data recovery tools for the Mac include Prosoft Data Rescue, Subrosasoft Filesalvage, Boomerang's Boomerang, and Stellar Data Data Recovery tools. If none of them can read it you may need to take it to a professional data recovery like http://www.drivesavers.com/ which can cost thousands of dollars.

You can't reformat it and not wipe everything on it.
Have you tried a different USB port?
Only other option, back it up on a different computer.

Data form not saving enter data after hit of submit

Entered data on Data from not saving after hitting the submit button in smartview.
A rules is attached to the same data from and its running on save, after retrieve it's not display enter data.

You need to have the below updates done on the affected PC.

if its windows 7 machine the same key has to be added under wow6432node under same path.

Data is not saving using BDT

Hi All,
I have enhanced BP screen using BDT .
I have created fields in already exisitng role and tab and the data is not getting saved in ztable .
there is one tcode called BUS7 where I need to give FM for dsave and few other events. I have defined all the events and Executed but unfortunately none of the events are getting called. I have put a break-point no use no event is getting called,
Kindly let me know any one got the same kind of issue.

y dont you use existing BADI to capture these details into Z table .im not sure y its not triggering your events,but using BADI you can save data into Ztable .
i have done same thing , if user didnt goto my customer Tab..then my Customer Events and FM to capture data , so i have coded in both BADI and FMs .

You can still do it, the process just changes a bit...
Copy the control to a new VI as before, and change it into a control.
Create the diagram shown in the attached screen shot.
Run the new VI. You will get two arrays: one of x-axis values and one of y-axis values.

Treo 755p The free data storage space on the device is low. Some data could not be saved

After having the Treo 755p device for only a week, I am receiving a message "The free data storage space on the device is low. Some data could not be saved." I have over 55 mb of free space according to the device info page. I cannot find anything about this in the knowledge library, can anyone offer help?

My problems are similar to Lauren, but backwards. For months now I have had problems with my Treo 755 reseting randomly. Sometimes during calls, sometimes while typing, sometimes while just sitting in the holster. As many as a dozen a day and then not at all for 2 weeks, no rhyme nor reason. This Free Space error though is brand new to me today and quite strange. The error is showing up when I bring my phone out of "sleep". I press the end button to sleep the phone and everything is fine. When I press it again to wake the phone up the error is sitting behind the keylock waiting for me.
Obviously I have done nothing yet for this new memory error, but I've tried everything for the reseting. Deleting software, Soft and hard resets, software updates, everything I and Sprint support can think of. With this new Free space error now I am going to just take it to a service center and demand a new phone. I think there is some kind of hardware error as I have done nothing in the programming. No new programs, no deleted programs, no changed settings.
I loved my Treo 650 and never had any problems with it. I am getting very disappointed in Palm now though with these ridiculous problems.

HELP: Formula Item data is not saved to database

I've added a formula in a database item but when i commit the form the data is not saved to the database. When i am working on form the item reflects the formula value, but when i commit the value is not stored in the database.

It is not clearly stated in the help file I agree. With a little PLSQL code you could copy the item to a hidden database field and have it be saved to the database. See Note 43012.1 on Metalink for details.

Hello, I'm a beginner in ligthswitch, so, I made a couple of screens and I made the database and attach to the application but when i want to save the new records shows me this error:
The data could not be saved because the server could not be contacted. Please check your network connection and try saving again.
The operation has timed out.
I verify the database, the record is saved but the application show me the error.
Please help me I have to deliver this screens today.

Hi Elmer,
I researched this error message, I think you can try the methods below:
Increase the timeout of the connection between the client and the server
Increase Client timeout, and it is set in the Application class in the Client Project

You find third-party apps in the App Store. What app are you looking for? Due to problems, Apple removed the ability to record that information in Health. You can always go back to whatever you used before three weeks Health was released. Why can you not check and record your blood glucose? I would assume you check it using blood samples and a glucose meter which has nothing to do with your phone. You should be able to record it in any number of apps, from Notes to purpose made third-party apps.

LS Getting the error "The data could not be saved because the server could not be contacted" when deploying on my local desktop

I have a very simple test LS App:
1 Table "Person" with 1 property "Name"
One totally standard Editable Grid
So no complicated calculations that could timed out...
When I hit F5 the screen launches and shows the data, but when I try to create a new Person it waits for about 2 minutes and then the following error appears:
The data could not be saved because the server could not be contacted. Please check your network connection and try saving again. The Operation timed out.
Despite the error the data gets persisted on the database.
I am on VS 2013 Pro Update 4 and SQL Server LocalDB 2012 (v11.0).

If you decide to try again I would:
1) Uninstall Visual Studio
2) Uninstall SQL Server (all versions)
3) Re-install SQL Server
4) Re-Install Visual Studio

If the receiving system is not ready ,
the data is to be transferred and function modules to be invoked are temporarily stored in tables ARFCSSTATE and ARFCSDATA. once the receiving system is ready , the entried in these tables wiil be deleted.
