DATA STATUS

Hi,
I have query on Data status:
If I migrate a application from Prod to QA both are in different environment and the data in prod is consolidated and status OK. After the data copy I see the data in QA is in Status OKSC.
If I migrate a application from prod to prod ( same environment). The data status seems to be same OK.
So, My question is that if we migrate to different env, the data status shows as OKSC. is it a product behaviour? as it goes to a different env, the cluster,tables are new thats the reason?

What is the HFM version? As asked by Charles, try using a new version of Copy App utility.
One more important thing to check is the Load Option in Copy App Utility.
Did you Merge or Replace?
If you had replaced then I would not expect the below issue. If you had merged then there could be possibilities that the HFM applications in both the prod and QA might have not been in sync and the utility might have replaced some metadata members or rules which might have caused the status to change as OK SC.
To test if this is correct, I would ask you run a full consolidate in QA now and again run the copy app utility to copy the data from Prod and see if that still gets you OK SC. If yes then I would ask you to raise a ticket with Oracle Support with the steps to reproduce and they will be able to help you.
Also if you had created a new application using Copy App utility (I mean if you had provided a new application name in the utility) instead of updating an existing application then please ignore my point above and it is not worth if this the case.

When DP forecast was released to SNP, one material - Location went into error. The error is "Invalid Data Status"
Release to DP to SNP is thru background job, and it check the material status (only material with active status is considered for release).
But for the above error, the material is active.
What could be the possible reason for this error & how can it be resolved.

In consistency match, there are multiple objects. Since DP is new to me, I am not aware of the objects that should be selected. Can you tell me which objects should I select for this and what will be the outcome of this.

Invalid data status error during the data extraction

Hi,
while extracting capacity data from the SNP Capacity view to BW. i get the "invalid data status error" and the data extraction fails.
when debugged the bad requests of the ODS object, i found that for a certain product(which has both positive and negative input and out qtys) co-product manufacturing orders were created. but this product was not marked as the co-product and functionally its fine.
how can i rectify the data extraction problem..can you advice.

Invalid Data Status while loading data in planning book

Hi,
Recently i got the error message "Invalid Data Status - Error reading data - planning book cannot be processed further ". I was able to resolve that issue by running program /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK with options Repair and check Livecache anchor. Now Here is my question, i want to know why does the livecache anchor error occurred. What steps can i take in future to avoid this error?

I couldn't say. In all the years I have been using SCM, I have never been able to prevent all such errors from occurring, I have only been able to solve certain problems only under certain specific instances. Usually, the 'solvable; problems I have seen are a result of poorly written enhancments or custom programs.
One might speculate that the reason SAP provides these repair programs (yes, there are MANY inconsistency-repair type programs) because they believe that such errors are inevitable.
Maybe you would be better served by just running such programs periocically in batch, as recommended by SAP.

Data status on the Query

Hello,
What are the ways can we do this ....
When a BW user logs on to execute a query via Analyzer, Query Designer or on the Web. The BW User should be notified at the point of executing the query in some manner if there is any problems with the loading of the cube, masterdata, or any other info objects pertaining to the query.
In other words, the user is to be informed if the data is not valid at the point of running the query.

I am not aware of the way where the message is automatically displayed ... but here is one way..
Enable "Display Text Elements"
Bex Analyzer Tool bar -> Layout -> "Display Text Elements" -> General
This will display all the general Information of the query such as the user who created the query, InfoProvider of the query, Key Date, Status of Data, Last Refreshed etc. If the "Last Refreshed" is greater than "Status of the data" then it means the last refresh has not yet successfully finished. I am not sure if there is any other conditions where this "Status of the data" date will be less thatn "Last Refreshed" Date.

We are using ALE Idocs for uploading HR ORG in SRM system.We are getting some IDocs errors. 51 status is 'Missing data'.
Details description like below:

Message no. HRALX00_ORG315
Diagnosis
It has been determined that the employee 00036837 has been received for the first time. However, not all the data that is needed to create a business partner has been received. In this case, the infotype 1001 and the subtype A209 have not been entered for the employee.
Procedure
Maintain the filter of the appropriate distribution model. To do this, call transaction BD64 in the source system. Add a new filter group to the data filter. Assign the following values for the filter group: infotype: 1001, object type: P, subtype: A209. After you have generated the partner profile again and distributed the distribution model, you can redistribute the relevant IDoc.
Please help me How to resolve this issue.Please let us know if you need any more information.

it s the best solution to your query to load the IDOCs manually using the context menu of the datapackage or IDOC --> manual update and then refresh the load as it is not throwing any error
check do you have enough number of process running in your system
check for TRFC logs

Wait for Session Data status does not change in EWA

The hour glass next to the early watch alert in the solution manager system has the status "wait for session data". The SDCCN in the satellite system has the RFC configured correctly and the RFC is working fine when tested. I have installed the latest ST-PI and ST-A/PI for my basis release 640 on the satellite system. The basis release of the solution manager is 701. The self diagnosis button in solution manager does not list any errors or warnings for that satellite system.
There are no errors in the task Refresh Session task in the satellite system's SDCCN:
Refresh of session overview started from destination SM_R3SCLNT001_BACK
> Sessions are up to date

Hello, I've got the same problem, went through the note, but it didn't solve my problem.
Here I can say, that several points from the note are NOT clear (typically SAP...):
I am falling in the category with ST-PI ... or newer.
- SDCCN:
Delete any task 'Maintenance Package' in the 'To do' tab.
Ensure that no connection to SAP is maintained in:
SDCCN-> Goto -> Settings -> Task specific -> RFC destinations.
<so I deleted all the RFCs in that location>
Ensure that connection 'NONE' is maintained, and that the 'master' flag is set.
<surprisingly, now there is a connection that has to be maintained!! Also the 'master' flag is always grayed out for me and never clickable!!>
Create a new periodic task 'Maintenance Package'.
<Not working, until I added back my SM_<SID>CLNT<No>_BACK connection>
- Step 2:
Re-import the service definitions, c)
They are saying how to setup the destinations, but NOT how to import the service definitions!
So, not really sure how to interpret and apply the note... Please help! The satellite system is NetWeaver 7.3 EHP1, Solution Manager 7.1 SPS10.

With it, I could transfer the data to the solution manager, but I can only see 'Data is available', when I click it and tell it to start the job, SM:EXEC SERVICES 000000000400100 runs for 6-7 seconds and completes successfully, though the EWA report still says 'Data is available', but no report is being generated. I also re-executed the job SM:EXEC SERVICES and still nothing.

    The current ABAP program "SAPLTPM_TRG_DB" had to be terminated because it has
    come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
What can you do?
    Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
    To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
    administrator.
    Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
    at and manage termination messages, and you can also
    keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
    An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
    The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was not caught
     in
    procedure "TPM_TRG_SAVE_TO_DATABASE" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a

Smart playlist sort by Genius data status?

I have a very extensive library and would love to be able to create a Smart Playlist to monitor the availability of Genius matching data on all my songs. It doesn't show up on the list of query options currently - has anyone found a workaround to do this? If not, Apple folks - what can you do to make this happen?
Edit: I know "iTunes Store" isn't necessarily the best category for this question but it won't let me post it under the general iTunes heading. Mr/Ms Admin - if there is a better place for this, please feel free to relocate accordingly.

I see that option on smart playlists in itunes, but I don't have that option for smartplaylists on my touch.

Problems Reading/Writing Parallel Port Data, Status & control Registers Using In Port.vi and Out port.vi

Hi,
Can anyone there help me Please with the problem. I am trying to
communicate with the parallel port using my program which i have
attached to the message. I am running LabVIEW 7.0 Professional with
application builder. All the program does is reads and writes to the
three parallel port registers. It runs FINE!!! in my computer. But when
i built an executable (see attached) and tried running on a different
computer (with LabVIEW Runtime engine 7.0 installed) the program does
not read/write to the registers. The target PC had the parallel port in
SPP mode just like mine. I can't seem to understand whats going wrong?
Can anyone please help me if you know the right answer.

Hi Guys,
I too have a problem using "Out Port.vi", but of a diferent kind. I use this VI to control the Parallel Port which in turn controls a small circuit. I use only two data pins, DP-2 and DP-4 for this purpouse. I use LV 7.1 Professional Development version in a Windows 2000 operating system. Now, my main problem is that my code runs fine (both is development and .exe forms) in my development computer, but when I try to run the .exe version in other computers (Windows XP operating system), it asks for a "protocol file" while starting (look at the attached picture).
Now, I really have no idea what kind of a protocol file it asks for and just click "ok" and proceed to work, the most interesting part is that the code works well as I expected. So, my only problem is that it asks for a protocl file which I want to avoid. As with the application building, I do all that is required like including the sub VIs (self developed), creating an installer, enabling the port access, and creating a proper .ini fine. I also use the Out Port.vi from the AccessHW library.
I have my doubts on two fronts,
1) With the version conflict, since my development computer runs with Windows 2000 and my target computers all run with Windows XP
2) With the Out Port.vi which further contains a small VI "Output Word to Port.vi" in it and that further contains Call Library Function Node, which might call soem external files, like what my problem is.(look at the attached picture)
I don't have answers to these questions and may be my problem is in different place, but I would like to hear from anyone who could give me a helping hand. I am in a situation where I could not disclose my code.

Strange Behavior: VPN disconnects silently while Podcast Cellular Data status is notified continuously

I would like to know why the built-in VPN disconnects silently without notice, which is a potential security issue.
Especially, when I am reminded continuously via a prompt, that prevents any further use of the system until acknowledged, when Podcasts or Music is run with: Cellular Data is Turned Off for "Podcasts"
I would expect the VPN to at least notify when disconnected.

Date on the basis of status

hello experts,
I have an issue related to the Report designing.
I have some fields to display into the report like Completion date, Status Value.
Now I want to display only those date where status is completed, how can i achieve this as i have some more fields so i cant restrict the Status field globally in the report.
i also tried to create the Formula var for both compl dt & status & used the If condition but the formula gives some junk val.
please advice the soln

i had created the condition on the basis of status = completed, but it hides all other records having other status.
actually , the completion date is basically the creation date
suppose...
on 20.04.2011 the status was open then creation date was 20.04.2011 and then on 25.04.2011 status is changed to completed.
but on the same date there is a record having status released.
I want the data like this

Billing document - Baseline date change status

Hi folks,
I have the following issue with the baseline date for the billing documents.
Billing date proposed by the systems based on the goods issue is 30.01.2010 while the date of creation of document is 31.01.2010. In FB03 transaction baseline date status is showing as changed from 30.01.2010 to 31.01.2010. Following is the setting done: In OBB8 for the said payment terms the baseline date shown is the "posting date' and in VTFL item level copy control
it is defined as "Data VBRK/VBRP 007 Inv.Split (Rec/Div)".
Why is the baseline date getting changed by the way User is entering the bill of lading in the outbound delivery >Header>Shipment (on 31.01.2010)..not sure if this is in any way contributing to the baseline date change...Appreciate your reply.

Baseline date is generally governed by config in OBB8 but we can influence it by writing code in USEREXIT_FILL_VBRK_VBRP. This will obviously affect baseline date in billing docs. The same should get copied into the accounting document. Now the catch is if the accounting document is changed (e.g. Payment terms) then system will populate baseline date as per the config.
So may be you should check if there is anything in the userexit and whether accounting document was changed.
