Data Target for info source 0EC_PCA_3 (Profit Centre Line Items)

I have brought info source 0EC_PCA_3 into my system from Business Content (Profit Centre Line Items) but I'm unable to find any update rules or the target for this info source?

Have you collected the object properly. I am please take the mentioned datasource and collect the object with dataflow before and afterwords in t-code RSORBCT. Cross check the collection for infocube, TR and UR and then start installation.

Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled
Above error is coming due to splitting .Try to do the following process
First check the line item 001 and get the GL no for which GL you are getting the error.
Ask your FI persons, what is the default Profit Center for that company code.
Goto Tcode FAGL3KEH and enter the company code......enter GL code and Default profit center in the last column.
Before doing this check the Business Area in IT 0027 and IT0001.Make sure that same Business Area in these ITs.

What are the data targets for 0EC_PCA_1 and 0EC_PCA_3?

I am looking at help.sap.com but not able to find out the data flow from these two datasources.
0EC_PCA_1 (Profit Center Accounting - transaction data) and 0EC_PCA_3 (Profit Center Accounting - Line Item).
What are the data targets and further flow for these data sources?

Data source - 0EC_PCA_1 and cube - 0PCA_C01
Data source - 0EC_PCA_3 and Cube - 0PCA_C01.
you can use same cube for two data sources.
Standard multi providers - 0PCA_MP01 and 0PCA_MC01.

FF68 -Profit centre & Line items

Hi Experts,
I have a senario regarding posting through FF68.After giving required inputs in the first screen & second screen system will ask for profit centre as well as line items while running batch input.
please tell me how we can exclude this profit centre as well as line items from this mandatory field

Is Document splitting functionality active in your landscape. If it is there, don't do the below the step
Goto Transaction Code:OT43. Select the varaint and double click and select the field and double click. it will be de-selected

Profit centre line item report after transfer

Dear All,
I have activated Document splitting. And it is working fine.
But when i take the report at profit centre level i am not able to see the Balance sheet line items.
Then i transferred the Balance sheet items to profit centre through customizing. Even now i cannot see line items but a consolidated figure which was transferred is appearing.
Is it correct or is there any way through which i can see the line items trasferred to the profit centre as period end activity.
Please help to resolve the issue

Can someone please clarify if there is an option to repost the line items which were posted to wrong profit centre? We had posted some entries to wrong profit centre and we want to repost it to the correct profit centres. Please clarify if some option is available.

You can use tcode 9KE0 , where in u can refer original doc no. also . you can enter wrong and right profit center using + , - signs .

Suggestions for improving adaptibility of Profit Centre functionality

I have recently introduced the Profit Centre functionality in my customer organisation.
I found that by incorporating following feature will help in a big way for implementation of this feature.
1.There should be a setting in configuration (may be document wise or General), whether the Profit Centre (Distibution Rule) is mandatory or optional ? Y/N.
2.Provison for setting up default profit centre against Items(Sales/Purchase).
By introduction of above two setting SAP B1 customer organisation will be able to easily implement the profit centre functionality.Because the control will remain with the administrator to make profit centre/Distribution Rule entry mandatory in all transactions effecting accounts and as default distribution will come from Item master so users will happily adopt this functionality, and the Management will receive the important and difficult to prepare information.
Hope the SAP B1 Product development will team accept this and consider this development request for future release.

As suggested at the other thread, you can utilize 'Post Transaction Notification' feature of MS SQL. This can help you to set any validation for most of the fields, objects and actions in the product incl. Profit Centers.
We are planning certain enhancements regarding Cost Accounting functionality for the next major releases after 8.8. We'll consider your idea as a part of it.

I want to know some examples for guidance in writing the Abap Routine at Data Target of Info Package for Deleting the Request from Info Cube after Update.
In the Data Targets of Info Package for Info Cubes we can delete the previous request based on the Conditions, exceptions and also based on the Abap Routine. I just want to know how do we write the Routine.
This option is adjacent to the Maintain to Data Target in Data Targets of Info Package and will available for Info cube only.

On checking the Business Content I found that there seems to be no Data target for infosource : 0EC_PCA_3.
Also it seems to be listed under 3.5 infosources in BI7.0.
Any idea on which data target is to be used for 0EC_PCA_3 ?

No PSA for Info Source

HI All,
We have the flow -
Cube- C013 to DSO- 610
Cube- C016 to DSO- 610
For that we generated Export data source from CUbe- C013 to DSO-610 and Export data source from CUbe- C016 to DSO-610.
As of now we followed the transport procedure from BI DEV to BI QAS
Collect all objects in 3.x format for 8xx objects (DS,Comm.str,IS,Tr.Rules) and transported to BI QAS.It works fine. All works normal, without doing any Replication/ RESTORE 3.X procedure Source is MS SQL using DB Connect.
I checked in BI QAS all 8xx data sources and all shows in CONTENT version BI7.0.
Issue =Problem for 8B05_C013 :
For this development:
We transported 8B05_C016 (DS,Comm.str,IS,Tr.Rules) to BI QAS and its transported and working successfully for C016 .
and
We transported 8B05_C013 (DS,Comm.str,IS,Tr.Rules) to BI QAS and shows in BI QAS as DS 3.x with the MODIFIED version and throws the below ERROR -
There is no PSA for Info Source 8B05_C013_OA and source system PBQCLNT150
Transfer structure 8B05_C013_OA NOT activated successfully Activate manually
I checked in BI DEV and BI QAS for the Data Sources 8B05_C013 and 8B05_C016, I canu2019t see any difference.
I think there is no replication needed for DB connect. If source is r/3 it requires replication.
Why it is giving problem for 8B05_C013 only?.
We implemented:
We applied Note 518426 , transported Data source objects and executed RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL but no use.
The Problem still exists Data source is in MODIFIED version in BI QAS. And planning to apply The Notes 1387854 and 1479294 require - Support Packages 23 or 25.
Our Bi QAS is = BI7.0 SP18
Can you please let me know :

We can't edit in BI QAS as it is a quality system.
Through transports - we transported all ACTIVE objects from BI Dev and many times we did transports. But no use.

We are implementing CRM2007 with BW3.5 for reports for CRM Analytics. We require to Identify the Standard Data Targets & Standard Business Content (Reports) available for the following:
1. Case Management
2. CRM Survey (We have already been able to identify Data targets in BW3.5 for Web Survey & in CRM 2007 we have been able to identify Data targets for CRM Survey, as well as Web Survey. Our requirement is identifying Data Target for CRM Survey)

No PSA for info source Z0HR_PA_HAP_3_SC

Hi Friends,
I am getting "No PSA for info source Z0HR_PA_HAP_3_SC" error while a activating a Transfer rule in SBD system BI 3.5 flow.
I have implemented the given note (1479294) successful in BW system to resolve the issue which was raised at the time while a activating a Transfer rule in SBD system BI.
I came to know that this issue might be resolved by this note. Still this issue is not resolved.
Please help me to get this solved.

Date fields for info structure S032 are not generated

Hi Experts,
I am trying to update set up tables for '02' using OLI2BW. I excluded some plants from selection and executed the set up. But the job run for few mins and completed with the message "Date fields for info structure S032 are not generated".
I couldn't see any records in RSA3.
Please through some light on this issue.

Profit center line item report

Hello All,
A sales order is created with reference to a service order, now when I see Profit center line items, the function area available in Service order is differ from the function area displaying with sales document number in profit center line item report. Can anyone please tell me where could be the problem.

what SAP release do you have ?
Normally the derivation of the functional area is made with the following logic:
1) manually entered
2) FI-Substitution (calling point 5 or 6 since ERP2004)
3) cost center
4) cost element
Please see also SAP note 106180 of how to correct wrong functional areas in PCA.

I totally agree with Amol.
I don't think I would touch that development nor would I ever tell a client it could reliably be done through development.
Knowing what I know about the table structures, I don't think you could create any development for this that could use a significant amount of the existing tables and functionality. I think you'd have to create all your own Z tables and basically rebuild the functionality. Tying it back in with SAP data will be difficult.
You're even looking at all custom screens for your results recording and UD as well. And if you have follow-on functions like batch classification requirements, batch determination, COA publication, results copy functions, use of DMR and sampling procedures, physical samples, quality notifications, etc. etc.. you could be looking a whole lot of development.
