Data Target not available

Hi,
I#m trying to upload transactional data in an Info Cube. After the
creation of an Info Package (Test IP) I can't see any Data Target in the selection although an Info Cube with valid and activated Update Rules
already exists.
Do you have any suggestions?!

Hi Anita,
As you mention that you are trying to load data into a transactional infocube...the transactional infocube cannot be laoded through the BW data staging process (Infopackage). Transactional InfoCubes can be loaded with planning data through BPS. If you need to load data to this infocube through an InfoPackage, you have to convert it to a non-transactional basic infocube.

Hi,
I have 5 ODSes which by design are to feed a 6th ODS. I created 5 update rules, using each of the 5 ODSes, separately as infosources.
The problem is that under the Infosource tree, I see the system generated InfoSouce but while creating the Infopackage, under Data Targets tab, my 5 ODSes are not available. Infact, it gives me no data targets for selection.
Any hints on what I might be missing in the steps?

say you have zods1 to zods6, and zods6 is feed by zods1-zods5,
under infosource tree, you create infopackage from which ods's generated infosource ? i guess zods6,
then yes you wont see any ods in data target, since zods6 has no further update to any data target,
you will see zods6 in generated infosource of zods1,zods2,zods3,zods4,and zods5.
you won't see all zods1-zods5 in one infosource unless they have update rules for all zods1-zods5 with same infosource.
you will need to go one by one infosource for each ods's infosource.

Datas are not available to the query when upload a Infopackage

Hello People,
I Would like to know what can be the reason ..why the datas are not available when we execute an upload from FlatFile to the Cube (this one is the last target one).
Considering tere aren´t any poroblem in may target (Cube)
The system shows us the upload was ok, but the status about the "available datas to the query" was not activated.

Hi ,
Please go to T code SE16--> Table RSDDAGGR
Here AggrUID(STARTUID) give not equal to blank, you will get list of all the cubes which has aggregates.
If your cybe is in this list , you need to rollup the data to mae this available in reporting.You can rollupp the data by going into Manage of the cube.

Hi,
while trying to configure the 9i db on grid control I installed the statspack data while configuring it. But now when I try to see the historical data as part of the performace tab for the 9i db it complains as below
Data Not Available. Statspack data is not available for this database instance. Make sure that Statspack is installed on the target instance.
Please shed some of your inputs.

I did exactly as it said while configuring the db. but seems like something is wrong. Can you please advise me on how can I install it in commandline.

New Data is not available in reporting after revrse posting

Hello All
I have a cube and data loaded into it.Now i came to know that one request is having wrong data and need to be deleted,without deleting I did reverse posting.Now that particular data(means new data) is not available in reporting.The reporting symbol in request(manage tab) is not available for this request.
Now what should I do,in order to get new data in reporting.

Thanks so much for your reply King_Penguin. No, sadly there is not indication of the expected release date on the film, it's no where to be found. I have also tried to look in other places online, but no luck. I guess your latter statement jives more with my situation, that being the studio/rights-holder hasn't feel inclined to provide the date.

Display '0' when data is not available in Crosstab

Hi Friends,
I have a simple crosstab, which will show,
Country as a "row header"---only one country is available
Department as a "column"
No.Of employees in "Body" of cross tab.
The table will how much percentage of employees are contributed under each department in one Country. Data is also coming correctly. But if there are no employees or there is no data the crosstab is not showing that row. it is displaying the records which is having data. But I need to show all the departments even there is no data. how can I do this?

By default those two options will be selected. those will work on null values. But in my case there are no null values. I don't have any data for particular departments. eventhough I need to visualize the things by giving a default value, say '0'. for example, the following is the report I need
DeptName | country
Marketing | 10
Finance | 0
Production | 0
packaging | 76
(Here the numbers under country are the count of employees. this is a crosstab report).
I am getting the following report
DeptName | country
Marketing | 10
packaging | 76
I want to show all departments even though the data is not available. Please help me.

Pivot on Query - Date Grouping not available

With the current version of Power Query I've found that the Group feature for dates is not available when you select the Power Query query as the data source for the pivot table.
It's an easy fix to load the query to a worksheet then pivot on the table.

Hi kiran,
The data is generated in the R/3 when the business transactions take place.
No one loads the data into R/3 as it done with BW. R/3 is a OLTP(online transactional processing) system which aides the day to day transactions of a business & theese transactions are stored in the R/3 in there respective tables in the form of records, so one record is generated for each transaction done.
For example there will be record generated in different modules when there is an order placed or when a material is delivered against an order.

Data Federator data source not available causes Universe Connection error

I created a Data Federator project that connects to 20 servers across US and Canada. All data sources are SQL Server 2005. The DF project maps 40 source objects into 4 target objects. I created a universe based on the DF project and we have been quite pleased with Webi query response. Today one of the source servers was taken off line and this generated a connection error when trying to access the universe (not trying to access the data source that failed). We do not want the universe connection to error when one source server is not available u2013 is that possible?
If the answer is no then I see us abandoning what appears to be a great solution for real time distributed reporting and resorting to ETL and moving data.

Check if you have any additional restrictions in the report which are filtering out the vendor numbers.
If you are using a master data object make sure the master data is activated.
Also check the assignment for the vendor infoobject in the data target/multiprovider.

now in my daily running process chain i have one error . i.e. in that if i use transaction rspcm the daily running chain is showing yellow colour...not showing in green colour and then i have displayed , display varient and then it shows one execute info package as yelloow colour i tried to right click on that and i displayed display messages and then it shows
"INFORMATION WAS STORED IN SOURCE SYSTEM"
to avoid this i mean i need to get data succefully updated but instead of this am getting above messages and my data targets also not updated succefully ...what will be the solution??? and in PSA data is available.....

There is a discrepancy between the confirmation and deletion of qRFC-LUWs
Message no. RSQU016
Diagnosis
When data was confirmed and deleted in the qRFC queue, the system found a discrepancy between the number of newly confirmed LUWs ( 2282) and the number of LUWs to be deleted ( 3424).
Where more LUWs are to be deleted than were previously confirmed, a previous delete attempt was terminated.
The LUWs were confirmed but not completely deleted from the qRFC and tRFC tables. The confirmation already ensures that the data is not transferred into the BW again with a subsequent request.
Delta extraction was continued.
Procedure
You do not need to do anything urgently.
If the message also arises during all subsequent delta requests, contact SAP Support with the message number at hand. In this case, there is a danger that the qRFC and tRFC tables run at full capacity, which may also affect other applications.

Assets upload: Deactivation Date is not available in the Standard Program

I am trying to use the standard program for Assets upload,RAALTD01. But, the field de-activation date (ANLA-DEAKT) is not available for mapping. This is the only field am missing out of more than 200 fields involved in the upload. What would be the best approach inorder that I can use LSMW and at the same time map this deactivation date field ; provided we are not using the Recording method.

i am installing the cube 0fiap_c03.when i am looking into the master data attribute(DATA SOURCES) for objects 0DUNN_BLOCK ,0DUNN_KEY, 0PMNT_BLOCK, 0PYMT_METH, 0SP_GL_IND in RSA5 they r not available.
but in my bw system the info sources r there for those objects.how can i resolve this issue.where to find them.
i need ur suggestions on this regard.

For those objects some one might installed all the infosources.
regarding datasources for those objects, check whether the required pathes are installed in r/3 side.

I had a problem that the leaving date is not generated while running a report from the sap standard report.
Note:
I has assigned the leaving action config as
Coustomer Specific : 3
Employment: 0
Specific Payment: 0
Should we look into ADMIN LDATE switch
Anything to do with Feater "LEAVE"
Or anyother issue pls.

Run the report RPLMIT00 and in the selection criteria select employment statusis not equal to 3.
Execute the report .
You can find the leaving date.
