Data uload to ODS ending up with an error. URGENT HELP NEEDED!!!!!!

My Sceniro is Full load from ODS1 to 5 other ODS. Iam uploading the data to other 5 ODS by selecting 1 ODS at a time.
Problem i am facing is upload is ending up with error mesg. Error Mesg are
<b>Error 8 when starting the extraction program - R3019
Error in Source System - RSM340
Req xxx in ODS2 must have QM ststus green before it is activated - RSM1110</b>
I have seen the the OSS notes for given error no, but they are not applicable to me. what could be the other possible solution.
In detail tab of the monitor i see red light at Extraction step and Subseq. processing.
Its quite urgent bcoz this error is occuring in Production system.
Plzzzz urgent help needed.

go to RSA1->Modeling->Source Systems and right-click on your BW system, and click on 'Replicate Datasources'.
also, go to the ODS that's causing the problem (via RSA1->InfoProvider and go to your ODS), right click and click on 'Generate Export Datasource'.
one more thing, make sure that all your record/s in the source ODS is active. if you're not sure manage its contents and click on 'Activate'. if there are any entries in the the next screen that comes up, you need to activate it first, then try everything again.
let me know what happens. also try to look for error messages in ST22 and SM21 that may be related to this and post whatever possible error you see there here.

Reports 6i Requirement -- Complext Matrix with grouping. Urgent help needed

I have a report requirement. The problem is like this.
There is an organization under which there are several schools.
each school has different classes.
Each class has several no of students.
We have to display marks of all the students in each class of the organization (note. all classes, schools)

I have tried using the matrix report with groups. But i was able to create a matrix and find the totals upto the class level which is quite simple.
I was not able to find the totals subjectwise for the school and orgnization levels.
Can you suggest me any solution for this?

Is there any other way to display other than using the matrix?
I am using Oracle REPORTS 6i on Windows 2000. the database is ORacle 9i.

Much of it depends on the structure of the data/query. If the subject per student are stored or prepared so they appear as separte columns in a query then there would be no need to use matrix. Are you getting what I am saying?

Problems with restricted users, urgent help needed

I represent a company called eChiron, a service desk company for several client companies.
We have a client company that has bought between 100 to 200 cell phones, all Nokia 6233. They all run client PCs with windows XP SP2 and are all restricted users (mandatory).
We've installed 2 nokia PC suites as pilot prior to mass deploying and have both failed to run correctly.
They execute correctly if the user is changed to local admin (being that the method of instalation), but when reverting back to restricted user the application doesn't work correctly.
It starts and (apparently) conects to the mobile phone trough bluetooth interface. In reality the conectivity is nonexistent (we've tested by turning off the mobile phone...) and the connection log reports "conection failed".
As i mentioned before, it's not an hardware fault since it all works correctly in admin mode.

This has always been a limitation in PC suite, I assume you've tried the latest version 6.85?

I don't have an iphone, but if it's anything like my click-wheel ipod, a reset doesn't delete anything.
It just resets the ipod's operating system, kind of like a PC restart. Did you try this Sleep/Wake button thing mentioned here?

Problems with the Strings Urgent Help needed

I have a unique problem. I have to retrieve a particular value from a String. I tried using String tokeniser but in vain. I cannot use java.util.regex package to match the expressions as the version of java on the client m/c is 1.1.8 and they are not ready to upgrade the same.
The string From which I have is a very long one running into more than 100 lines which can vary from case to case all I know is to retrieve the value which is just in front of "TestValue" which occur only once in the String Can Anybody suggest a bettter alternative.

As I understand it StringTokenizer tokens = new StringTokenizer(string, "TestValue"); would not tokenize on the string "TestValue" but on any of the characters 'T', 'e', 's', 't', 'V', 'a', 'l' or 'u'. This is a common java pitfall in my opinion due to bady named parameters (I feel it should be called "delims" not "delim") or in other people's opinion due to bad parameter type (should be a char[] not a string).
A clearer explanation of the problem would help.

Importing complete and working KM configuration ends up with many errors

I would like to transport a complete KM configuration from one portal to another, both portals are on the same SP and patch levels. The KM configuration on the source portal is working fine and has no errors in it.
I have used the Export feature and exported the complete KM configuration from the source portal. The problem is that when I preview import this configuration in the destination portal I see it will end up with many errors, most of them are due to missing references, for example:
ImportExportConfigException: Upgrade error: "java.lang.Exception: Unable to find the Metadata archive "kmc.util.ctx" that is required for the Metadata archive "coll.appl.ui.gw.gwui"" Inner exception is: Unable to find the Metadata archive "kmc.util.ctx" that is required for the Metadata archive "coll.appl.ui.gw.gwui"
Or this:
ConfigException: Cannot migrate the configuration object id "config://local/cm/ui/uicommand/QuickDetailsGroup" from configuration class "config://local/cm/ui/uicommand/UIGroupCommand" (step 2) as its values cannot be set Inner exception is: InvalidEntryException: Invalid commands:OpenAsWebDAVFolder,EditWithOffice
These are errors related to SAP standard KM and not to custom configuration we may have applied and is under our responsibility.
I would have thought that when exporting a complete and perfectly working KM config from one portal to another then there shouldn't be any missing files or refrences problems.
Any ideas...?

I have opened up an OSS with SAP on that and they have said that these errors would indicate that the KMC deployment might have been corrupted during installation. A redeployment as per sap note 895523 would be the best way to eliminate any problems that may have been caused by such an incomplete deployment.
I am marking this question as answered although did not try this solution as we have decided to go for a full system copy, but just thought it will be worth leaving this note on this thread for other people.

Yes you can drag and drop music to the iPiod if you select Manually Manage Music and Videos in iTunes.

Urgent help needed with un-removable junk mail that froze Mail?
I had 7 junk mails come in this morning, 5 went straight to junk and 2 more I junked.
When I clicked on the Junk folder to empty it, it froze Mail and I can't click on anything, I had to force quit Mail and re-open it. When it re-opens the Junk folder is selected and it is froze, I can't do anything.
I repaired permissions, it did nothing.
I re-booted my computer, on opening Mail the In folder was selected, when I selected Junk, again, it locks up Mail and I can't select them to delete them?
Anyone know how I can delete these Junk mails from my Junk folder without having to open Mail to do it as it would appear this will be the only solution to the problem.

If you hold the Shift key when opening the mail app, it will start up without any folders selected & no emails showing. Hopefully this will enable you to start Mail ok.
Then from the Mail menus - choose Mailbox-Erase Junk Mail . The problem mail should now be in the trash. If there's nothing you want to retain from the Trash, you should now choose Mailbox- Erase Deleted Messages....
If you need to double-check the Trash for anything you might want to retain, then view the Trash folder first, before using Erase Junk Mail & move anything you wish to keep to another folder.
The shift key starts Mail in a sort of Safe mode.

Sounds like you can't update your device. You don't mention an error that it gives you. Take a look at both of these articles to troubleshoot.

If you started your device in recovery mode by mistake, restart it to exit recovery mode. Or you can just wait—after 15 minutes the device will exit recovery mode by itself.

I'm expecting a slash (/) between forms60 and java. Have a look in the formsweb.cfg if any paths are misconfigured.
Also, try if the URL with the slash:
http://domain.com/form60/java/oracle/forms/registry/Registry.dat
does work when you just paste it in a browser. It should download the Registry.dat file

Some urgent help needed with MobileMe suddenly saying my password is wrong

First of all I want to say sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I needed some urgent help and I couldn't find a forum other than this that might relate to this issue.
The issue that I am having is with my MobileMe Account. I was on my Mac, when when my MobileMe Account suddenly dropped its connection and told me that I had entered the wrong username or password (I know I hadn't) I tried to re-enter them but every time I try I just get a message that says I have entered the wrong username or password. I no longer have access to my Mail, I can not sing-in to MobileMe to access my online account and it wont let me change the password because it keeps saying that safari can not open the page.
I can not sign-in to my MobileMe folders on my Mac and it wont sync. I was signed in perfectly fine before this happened so I know its nothing to-do with my password or user name.
I am now locked out of MobileMe and need some help as to what might have went wrong
Can someone please give me some quick help as this is really worrying me as I am afraid my MobileMe account might of been hacked (that is the kind of behaviour that I am seeing - saying that my username and password are wrong, when they are not, and not letting me sign in to change them)

it seems my panic was for nothing. I just ran apple 24 hour support and they put it right for me it cost me but I'd rather be safe and pay then loose all the information I have on MobileMe. This has taught me a lesson anyway, I need to keep a backup of everything and not just rely on time machine

Due to the nature of the cube design, that would be difficult, that's why there are API's, FMs, and MDX capabilities - to eliminate the need to navigate the physical structure. Otherwise you would have to concern yourself with:
- that there are two fact tables E and F that would need to be read. The Factview could take of this one.
- you would want to be able to read aggregates if they were available.
- the fact table only as DIM IDs or SIDs (for line item dims) to identify the data, not characteristic values. A Dim ID represents a specific combination of characteristic values.
