  • When I turn my volume up on my ipod it automatically goes down by itself

When i turn the volume up on my ipod touch it automatically goes down by itself...is there anything i can do to fix this, if not i am still under my one year warranty so maybe i can just get it replaced?

I use this formula to reset Admin login password:
Resetting a user's password in OS X Lion and Mountain Lion
Important: Passwords for administrator accounts should not be blank.
Log in with an administrator account. Tip: If you don't know the password of any administrator accounts, see "Resetting the original administrator account password" below.
From the Apple menu choose System Preferences.
From the View menu choose Users & Groups.
Click the lock button if it appears locked; enter the administrator password.
Select the name of the user whose password you want to change.
Click the Reset Password button or the Change Password button.
Enter a new password in both the New Password and Verify fields, and add a Password Hint if desired.
Click the Reset Password button or the Change Password button.
And the change password has me making a new Apple ID. I don't need a new Apple ID. I need a new Admin login so that when I turn on my Macbook I need to login with a password before I can used the Macbook. Amd I asking the wrong question of support?

  • I am trying to record in Garageband. I have a mic plugged in to my Avid Mbox and the Mbox into my Mac. The levels on the microphone keep automatically going down, during recording.

I am trying to record in Garageband. I have a mic plugged in to my Avid Mbox and the Mbox into my Mac. The levels on the microphone keep automatically going down, during recording. This even happens when I set the track volume. What could this be cause of this?
    Thank you

This causes problems for me. When I place a single .mbox file into a new folder and import that folder I get the following dialogue:
When I click 'continue' I get a new import folder, but the formatting is a garbled nightmare of seemingly random subdirectories upon subdirectories:
Each of the subdirectories under "ASV" should have just contained messages, not lots of embedded subdirectories. Am I doing something wrong?
P.S. I am trying to move mail from an iMac running 10.7.5 to a new iMac running 10.10.1

  • Volume Automatically Going Down.. Please Help

I'm just trying to listen to my ipod! On the screen it has the volume control instead of the track time.. i attempt to turn the volume up - it will go up and automatically turn down... the whole way.. I hope the answer isn't to restore this thing.. i've already had to do that twice.

    Maybe a volume limit?
It does not sound so because I do not believe it will go over that limit just to go back later, but why don't you check this?

  • Auto start of db when it goes down

Is there any way using script to start database when it goes down due to some unexpected reason on windows platform?
    Oracle 10g
    Windows 2003 Server

    Hi,
Create your own batch script that does the below things
    1) Make a connection to Oracle to see if database is up.
    2) If not then start the database.
I would be better checking why Oracle database is going down too frequent rather doing auto start.

  • ConnectionPool crashes once database server is down

    Hi,
I have written a connection pool to connect to a Oracle database from a servlet script. The connection pool creates a pool of say 5 connections and when required a servlet picks up a connection from the pool uses it and then frees it. Now once the database server goes down the servlet throws sqlexception when it tries to connect to the database with the connection obtained from the pool...this is just fine. But now even if the database is up and running again the servlet still throws the same SQLException(IO problem). I have to restart the Application server to get my servlet working again.
Does anyone have any idea about why this happens ?????????

Seems to me that your Connection object should catch the "failed to connect" error and set an internal flag to indicate that it is now unusable. (And then throw that error on to its caller, of course.) And then the code that gives out Connections from the pool should inspect that flag, and if the Connection is unusable it should throw it away and try to create a new one.

  • When Firefox freezes, how can I shut it down, and re-start it without it automatically going to the site which caused the problem in the first place ?

I have Firefox set so that when I start up, I have it set so that it automatically goes to my home page. However when it freezes, which it does on a daily basis, and I have to shut it down and re-start, it automatically goes to the site which caused the problem in the first place.
If I was a hacker, I would probably find it quite fun to design a virus to reintroduce bugs after they had been exterminated - except that Firefox seem to have got there first.

    Here's how:
    (1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
    (2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''sess''' and pause while the list is filtered
    (3) Double-click the '''browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes''' preference and enter 0 (that's a zero) and click OK.
When Firefox resumes after a crash, instead of resuming automatically, it will display a list of your previous windows and tabs and you can deselect problem pages.
(This assumes it wasn't a private browsing session.)

  • When I put headphones into my phone volume going down automatically

I have a iPhone 5 IOS 7.1.2 when I plug my headphone into my phone volume going down automatically please help me thank you

Your iPhone has separate volume settings for using headphones and when using the on-phone speakers.  In other words, the volume will change when headphones are plugged in.  This is by design.  There is no separate setting in advance, just the change in volume setting after you change the audio device.  For me, this is good because I usually have the volume up high when using the speakers and want it significantly lower when using the headphones.  Having the individual settings keep me from blasting my ears when I plug the headphones in.

  • Volume going down automatically

the volume on my ipod touch is going down automatically without me touching it .. Ive put it back up but with 10seconds it will go down again, this isnt my ipod touch as i bought it second hand and have had it over 2years now .. I've tried restarting it but nothing works, is there a solution to my problem ??

I have been having the same problem with my iPhone 3GS for about 2-3 weeks. The phone seems to have a mind of its own: at any time (i.e., under conditions I cannot predict), the icon for ringer volume comes onto the screen, turns the ringer volume down to one dot, and stays there. I mean the volume stays at zero, AND that the icon stays on the screen.
Sometimes this happens in little bits at a time, other times it happens all at once. However, the end result always seems to be that the ringer volume stays down and the volume icon stays on the screen, in front of whatever is there.
I have not done any firmware updates recently. I have added a couple apps. I will sync/backup and try a restore, but I'm afraid I may have to take it to the Genius Bar.
I'm glad to see that this has happened to at least one other person. I can't explain it. I've got OS 3.1.2.

  • Oc4j_security goes down automatically

    Hi All,
I have installed AS10G OID in one machine and SSO,FR in other machine.
Everything works fine but after a while OC4J_SECURITY goes down automatically.
In result i get message INTERNAL SERVER ERROR.
when i start this component .... again it works fine for some time and goes down again.
any idea what may be the possible reason and solution ???
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Apparently, there is a problem in package “*wwsso_ls_private*”. I got below error while trying to compile this package. When I was trying to compile ORASSO.WWSSO_LS_PRIVATE, I got the below errors about parameters
    SQL> alter package ORASSO.WWSSO_LS_PRIVATE compile body;
Warning: Package Body altered with compilation errors.
    SQL> show error
    Errors for PACKAGE BODY ORASSO.WWSSO_LS_PRIVATE:
    LINE/COL ERROR
    484/4 PL/SQL: SQL Statement ignored
    484/16 PL/SQL: ORA-00947: not enough values
    628/6 PL/SQL: SQL Statement ignored
    628/20 PL/SQL: ORA-00904: "LSCI": invalid identifier
    681/4 PL/SQL: SQL Statement ignored
    684/10 PL/SQL: ORA-00904: "LSCONFIG": invalid identifier
    Cause:
The possible cause this issue is some problem that occured when
applying the latest patchset. The patchset does include updates of ODS and ORASSO schemas and their objects. If parts of objects were not updated with the new version and the old version is still in DB, errors may occur (for example when I was trying to compile ORASSO.WWSSO_LS_PRIVATE I got the errors
about parameters, which indicate version mismatch).
To fix this problem, I have re defined the problem giving package.
This package wwsso_ls_private is defined in
    $ORACLE_HOME/sso/admin/plsql/sso/ssolsprv.pks
    Solution:
I have fixed the problem by following the below steps.
    1. Login sqlplus as orasso user of MR
    2. Recreate the view wwsso_ls_configuration_info$ by issuing the below DDL statement.
    SQL> CREATE OR replace VIEW wwsso_ls_configuration_info$ OF ls_config_type WITH object oid(config_name) as select * from wwsso_ls_configuration_info_t;
    3. Now compile the problem giving package.
    SQL> alter package wwsso_ls_private compile body;
Compilation of this package was done without any error.
    4. Now all the OC4J container including OC4J_SECURITY in our Infra tier are up and running.

  • SAN goes down (Solved/Recovered Database 100%)

    database 10g release 2
    linux version 4.6
    dear alls,
my SAN goes down its raid level 5 ,two hard disk has gone down ,i performed daily database and archivelog backup on tape,i keep last two days backup and controlfile autobackup with enabled option at my tape as well at FRA,FRA is also at SAN and no longer be available,
anyway my vendor is about to reach here to make the SAN up.Vendor claim that and i also know that with raid level 5 if 2 hard disk goes down then the SAN cant up i.e mount will no longer be restored, for the sake of safety can anybody correct me is it like that or we have some alternate to up the SAN??
i know how to recover in this scenario ,can anybody keep in touch with me this thread ,being a human being i may make some blunder or may skip some steps for recovery database from tape. Please correct me
    CASE 1
if SAN cant up the orahome mount point then what i will do to
    -install the oracle
-re create the lost instance "PROD"
-put the init file within respected path
-create the flash recovery area with same path as it was before lost
    -connect to RMAN
    -mount db
    -restore the autopbackup controlfile
    -restore database
    -recover database
    CASE 2
if SAN can up the orahome mount point then i think there would not be any issue if there is please let me know.
    Please share me yours experience.
    Thanks to all
    Khurram

kora i am seeing yours post now thanks for corporates, dont mind wana one corrections in yours steps.
Set dbid=(the id that you find on the controlfile backup)
    restore spfile from autobackup
    startup mount
    restore controlfile from autobackup
    restore database
    recover database
alter database open resetlogs startup mount will always occur after restoring controfile not after spfile/pfile.

  • Callconnector database goes down every hour

We have been running callconnector with no problems for the past 1 year, as of last week the database goes down pretty much hourly. The only change we made around the same time as this started was we changed admin passwords on all our servers / routers / switches due to a senior admin being let go from the company. Any help anyone can give would be great as we are a small non-profit company.
Our versions that we are running are CM Version 2.0.0.40 - Server Version 2.01.010
To get it back running I just have to click the database server button within configuration manager and it will work for another hour. The windows services don't seem to be affected only the services within the configuration manager. We are running this on a 2008 R2 VM environment.

I remembered it used to say 0.91, but now says 88.5, so I typed the following two lines in Terminal:
    sudo /bin/launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.clamav.freshclam.plist
    sudo /bin/launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/net.clamav.freshclam.plist
    Then I rebooted once more.
When it came back up, I checked the Server Admin Virus Update log and it now says:
    Current working dir is /var/clamav
freshclam daemon 0.91.2 (OS: darwin8.10.0, ARCH: ppc, CPU: powerpc)

I assume this is what it is supposed to say now. ClamD (as of right now) is not taking up any resources, so maybe it will be better now. I will keep this topic posted of any changes.
Is there any recommended commercial products for OS X Server regarding anti-virus and anti-spam instead of using clamav? Also what command in Terminal will force a restart of clamd? I also saw a reference to a "rebuild of ClamAV" in another topic. How do you "rebuild" ClamAV?
Thanks for the help so far,

  • VDI is automatically going to down and become 'Saved' state

We are testing the HYper-V 2012 and Windows 8 Enterprise 32 bit. We have created Personal Desktop collection and Created VDI. But this VDI's are frequently going Down automatically and if we check in Hyper-V, the VDI state is showing as 'Saved'. Anybody
can help us as we are going to decide whether to go with Microsoft or VMware for Virtualization
    Thanks in advance

the VM should not be going into a saved state when the user is connected.  RDS will only change the state of the VM when an admin chooses to do so manually, or when we need to wake up a VM or after a user logs off.
What is the state of Hyper-V when this is happening?  How many VMs are running and does the Hyper-V server have resources available?  are you using dynamic memory on your VMs?

    Hi ,
2 days back, Services of all the databases goes down on one of the PROD server.
When i tried to start the services using SRVCTL command .
I was getting the error below.
    oracle@shbaorc07b bin]$ srvctl status database -d EDW
