Database Error Occurred

Zen 11.2.1 on Window s2008 R2 and SQL 2008 R2 database.
When trying to run a predefined report I receive the following error:
A database error occurred. The databse erro text is: This driver is not configured for integrated authentication.
Can anyone help me with this?

I checked the Db role of the service app pool account, it has SPDataAccess permission over the Database. i cant recreate another application without knowing the root cause. I hope i can get better option to troubleshoot the issue.

As per the error message, you can at least grant the BDC service application pool account the EXECUTE perimssions on the sp_BusinessDataConnectivity_DV13 database

Hi,
My Webi report is geeting failed with the error
"A database error occured. The database error text is: ORA-29275: partial multibyte character . (WIS 10901)"
may i know the root cause of the above error and how to resolve it. I am using BO 3.1.
Its very important to provide the report. Please help urgently.

when i try to open my webi report,tis throwing this message after i execute giving my prompt information:
"a database error occured:the database error text is - Error in MDDATASETBW.GetCellData.See RFC trace file or
SAP system log fro more details (WIS 10901) "
i checked with rfc trace ... it says error in connection and "RFCIO_ERROR_SYSERROR in abrfcpic.c"
likewise in ssytem log ,it says network prb ????
plz help me out with this .wat is the exact prb ??

It is BO 2008.my webi report has prompts,which are actually based from the BI query and not prompts created here in the
webi report.when the combinations of prompt values given has data,in the backend BI system,the report runs fine,if
no data is available in BI multiprovider,error message shoots up.this is happening both in dev and prd systems.

If you've run out of disk space for your SQL databases then of course you'll get errors. Fix SQL then look to see if you're still getting errors.

BO XI R 3.1 SP 2 fix pack 2.1 - Database error occured - "Error on fetch"

As per SAP recommendation we have upgraded our SAP BI system from BI 7.0 to BI 7.01 (Enhancement Pack 1).
And BO XI R 3.1 SP 2 to BO XI R 3.1 SP 2 fix pack 2.1.
After applying fix pack 2.1 on BO server, suddenly the reports on one of the Universes throwing error as follows:
A database error occured. The database error text is : (CS) "Error on Fetch". (WS 10901).
We have to apply Enhancement pack (SAP BI 7.01) and fix pack 2.1 (on BO) before this weekend on production environment.
Can you please help us if you are having any idea why this error occurs upon BO fix pack 2.1 installation.

Hi Ingo,
The query works well in SAP BI side using RSRT / BEx Analyzer.
I have created a new universe on same BI Query, still the problem exist.
We have created one new BEx query on same InfoProvider and then Universe. It works fine.

In WebI XI 3.1, i am getting this error when i run webi report against a derived table "A database error occured. The database error text is: ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected NUMBER got DATE ". The derived table is designed in such a way that it populates only last week data, however, the result populates data for last week and current week. For the current week, it shows date range from feb19 to feb25, so the data is not correct. how can i get rid of current week.

Hello, the error means that it is pulling a field with DATE type instead of a number, you should convert the date to a number at universe or document level.

While refreshing WebI report in BIDEV system, we are getting the following error. The problem occurs only while refreshing the report.

In the universe connection if the username and password is hardcoded then make sure those username and passwords are correct.
else
Make sure you are in the right BOX, for example if Universe is pointed to Prod, and you execute the report associated with that universe in the Dev, then that error will show up. So in universe connection find out to what BOX(dev, test, prod) it is pointed to and login to webI in the same BOX as universe pointed to and execute the report.
It should work, if not please let us know.

Live office database errors in Citrix - underlying WebI reports work fine

We have a live office report with 30 tabs in the excel file i.e. 30 webi report parts in it. It accesses 20 webi reports, each built on a BEX query.
Please see below the error which users get while running the report in Citrix environment. The underlying WebI report has no database errors, and we were able to run the Live Office reports at the same time on LAN. The Citirx users get these database/auth errors intermittently, on different tabs of the report at different times - the underlying BO reports are error free and users have proper rights to execute them.
"An error occured while opening the report. The report does not exist; youhave insufficient rights to open the report; or you cannot make a connection to the BusinessObjects Web Service. (LO 02010)
Failed to get the document information (LO 26315)
A database error occured. The database error text is: ...."

Hi,
BO Version is BO XI 3.1 SP2 FP2.1
Datasource - BEX queries BW Relese 701, support pack level 8
We have made users login to Infoview and checked that they are able to execute the WebI reports. Also, earlier they were able to run all reports, so there is no access problem.
These errors started occuring when we had to refersh BO Universes after some of the BEX queries changed. We even asked users to stop using the excel files on which they used to get errors, thinking the files may be corrupt. Then we sent them new files which we had successfully refershed at our end. But still they get these errors in their environment.
Please advise.

Although I can see the data coming is correct, but don't know why this error is coming.
I have seen for NULL values.
How can I see the detail log to trace the error?

Hi,
You can login as system using SQLPlus and use the DBMS_SYSTEM.set_sql_trace_in_session procedure to set trace on another Discoverer session. This should establish if there is any database error occuring in the Discoverer session.

When we are creating a report with a universe based on BW, we are getting this error message:
"A database error occurred. The database error text is: An error occurred while trying to load the provider for transport sap. Failed to load library mda_sap. System error message: 0509-022 Cannot load module /Apps/BOEXI31/bobje/enterprise120/aix_rs6000/libmda_sap.so.

When I test the connection of the universe in Designer, the result is ok. Also, when I create a report on Rich Client, the report is created fine.

Windows Server 2008 R2 (CMS)
AIX 5.3 Level 10 (Other BO services)
Integration Kit SP3 fp 3.2 installed on both servers

I am trying to use a date field as a query filter and I keep getting the
following error:
A database error occurred. The database error text is: ORA-01843: not a
valid month. (WIS 10901).
When I remove the query filter and run the query it works as
expected. I want to be able to allow the users to use the date field in order
to select a date range. Can someone provide me with some information on how to
resolve this issue.

Under normal circumstances it should be enough to restart the connection service.
As far as we know there is no formal solution to this problem from SAP yet but restarting the connection service is much less of an interuption compared to restarting the the SIA.
Re-starting the connection service should resolve this issue. since, Connection service is only related to DeskI and Rich Client re-statrng wonu2019t impact other business objects components including java report panel.
