Database exception freezes SQLDeveloper and work lost from dirty editor

If "ORA-01000:maximum open cursors exceeded" occur when you run a script, it results a million dialogs and application is nearly frozen; high time since the database execution run on separate thread and provided user with an interface to kill unwanted threads such as this.

Basically we would like to know what is causing this, basically you can up your max open coursors and if it is still a problem send in a reproducible test case (or the text from the SQL that should take us straight to the bugged code).

Calendar entries on iphone not syncing to my macs. Syncing via mobile.me and works well from mac to phone

Calendar entries made on my iphone are not syncing in to my ical calendar on my macs. Syncing via mobileme. works well from mac to phone.

I am having a similar problem. I think that my phone actually deleted a couple appointments, as well. Today I entered a repeating event on my phone. It still has not shown up on my MacBook or my iPad, hours later. I believe it is because my iCloud Sync was turned off on my phone. I just checked - It said that my password was entered incorrectly. I think that must have happened when I upgraded to iOS6. I fixed it now and am waiting to see if my iCal sync happens.

Music and apps lost from iphone, Can I download already purchased music from itunes again?

I recently had a problem and apps on my iphone would not open, so I restored my phone to the factory settings and I lost all of my apps and music because I failed to sync them properly, can I download the songs and apps I already purchased on itunes again? how?

Sorry, but officially Apple does not allow redownloads of purchased items other than iPhone/iPod touch applications. The official statement of their policy can be found here, among other places.
For redownloading apps, look here for instructions. For songs, movies, and videos, if you don't have a backup of your purchased items and don't have them on another iOS device, you may be out of luck and will need to repurchase your content.
If you have your content on an iOS device, post back and someone here can help you get them restored. Otherwise you can try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service (select the "Music Purchases" or "Video Purchases" category, as appropriate, then "Lost or Missing Items". You'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button) ") and explaining what happened. Reportedly in some cases Apple has allowed redownloading on a one-time basis.

URGENT: labels and ratings lost from CS3 to CS5

Hi, I have been using Bridge CS3 for categorize my photos and i have instaled CS5 recently (i have the two now).
All the ratings and labels were lost. In jpeg files, in CS3 i can see the rating in the xmp metadata "rating" (in file info, advanced) but not in CS5 (the xmp metadata is there but without "rating"). In CS5 i can rating the photos with problems.
If i export (save) xmp from jpeg in CS3:

The only difference being xmp is being used instead of xap. I have also looked at CS4 and it is the same as CS5, except they are in reversed order but still show correctly.

Speedgrade crashing and work lost. Autosave somewhere?

I am new to the Adobe system and today have been working with Speedgrade to color. I have been sending the project directly from Premiere. It has now crashed on me several times and each time I've lost my work. This last time was almost a finished project and now I have to start from scratch? That can't be, can it?
1) Is there a place I can retrieve my work? I can't find any autosave in the Users/USER/Documents/Adobe/Speedgrade/7.0/settings folder. There is a project file there, but it's empty.
2) Is there something I'm missing? Something I can change in my settings? Everything seems to work smoothly and then, without warning, Speedgrade simply shuts down.
I'm working on:

16 GB 1333MHz DDR3
OSX 10.9.2

Sorry for the news I'm delivering. I had the same problem after working two hours on a difficult-to-grade series of clips in December. Sg crashed, there was no auto-save file though there'd been that quick pop-up box every so often about auto-saving done. Nope, there wasn't ... on the work I was doing. I came on here to ask where my save-files would be ... and got a response from an Adobe staffer (they aren't paid to be here, by-the-by, it's on their own time) that ... um ... well, I needed to understand how the DL works.
Speedgrade uses the PrPro project file in a direct-link session ... but is NOT allowed to touch the timeline or the main bits of that project. Until you tell it to save & return to PrPro. Therefore ... even if you have PrPro set for auto-save, and SG set for auto-save, SG cannot auto-save while working "on" a PrPro project. The user has to manually save ... I recommend doing so as an iterative thing, like "client_1; client_2;" sort of thing. (And oh, that pop-up box was from PrPro, which was actually sitting there idle and had no "awareness" of what I was doing in Sg. So it wasn't saving anything.)
Well now ... that thread did pop some attention by some folks a HECK of a lot more experienced than I (including some grading "houses" of multiple suites) ... and in the ensuing discussions it was noted that somehow this needed to be addressed to the users more clearly. Sadly, I've not seen anything explicitly noting this ... unless you tumble onto that thread. Adobe has received numerous feature AND bug requests about the issue, Adobe staff that did pop into that thread acknowledged there is a potentia issue to correct there, and we all hope they are working on it. Until such a change occurs, you have to save manually.

Database exception when browse a web page from IIS

I have developed a web application accessing data in Oracle Database.
When I run on Visual Studio 10, anything is working fine.
When I browse on Server (IIS), it has exception : Oracle.DataAccess.Client.OracleException: ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error

Optional. If Java is used, download the JDBC InstantClient zip and unzip into the same folder.

How to learn and work CS6 from the middle of nowhere ?

1. I go to "town" with my (light) MacBook Pro and I load programs and updates.
2. when home, I connect my MacBook Pro to the (heavy) iMac and I make the iMac updated this way.
question : will it work if I buy CS6 on my MacBook Pro and "copy" it on my iMac ? so one licence on two computers
and I'll use one computer at a time.
Second question (thanks for your patience)
1. I am for the week in Buenos Aires with a serious internet connexion I can buy CS6 from there and load it on my MacBook
2. but there are so many tutorials that I would like to copy them all, go back to the middle of nowhere and start learning on my own
question : if this is possible, how do I copy the tutorials ?

CS6 should still be available on CD/DVD as a suite. Amazon and other internet sites should still be selling it. That license is good for 2 computers, only 1 can run the suite at a time. But can stay installed on both.
While looking at that site, search for tutorials on CD. Get a few books as well, which are also available as ebooks or kindle books. The kindle software is free for most systems including windows and Mac.
The CC or cloud version probably would not be for you unless you can make sure you can get to an internet connection once a month. Though if you can not don't worry the software will reactivate the next time you connect.

Viber messages and data lost from iTunes backup HELP

This morning I backed up everything in iTunes on my iPhone 4s, which I just had replaced due to a cracked display.
When I restored my replacement iPhone from the latest back up, to my horror, all Viber history and messages had
vanished and only the blank application appeared. I was using Viber 4.2.1
If anyone knows a way around this, it would be very much appreciated, as there was a lot of important information contained :-((

PS - I contacted Viber and this was their response; "I apologize for the inconvenience, please, adress your issue to Apple Support, since we do not restore history message through the app."

Final Cut Pro Lost and Work Lost

Ok, so I finished this project which took me forever to create and I worked super hard on. I was exporting the file when it happened to crash. I reopened it and the current status it was at was right as I started to work on this new project (4 hours ago). So I restarted my computer and still the same thing. I checked in the backups but I guess because I only worked on it for 4 hours straight it didn't make a backup. Is there any way for me to get it back. I am literally crying right now.

By default FCP X creates a backup every 15 minutes.
The backups are stored in your Users>Home>Movies>Final Cut Backups>Name of Library>Time stamped backups.
You should see something like this:

ICal and work email from a gmail server

I have a work email which is purchased via gmail, i.e. [email protected] Previously, all my calendars were set up and all ran smoothly. Then, I went to setup my store's email which is on the same gmail server, but i kept getting errors saying that it couldn't connect to a secure server. I looked at the settings for my other accounts and they showed as CalDAV and believe I set everything up identically, but to no avail. Is there a way to get my work email/calendar to show in iCal or is there something going on with gmail/ical that is causing this to error out?

The LabVIEW Internet Developers Toolkit has only SMTP (send) mail tools One option that I could think of is in Windows making calls to Outlook via ActiveX. In Unix there are myriad ways to write mail reciept and parsing scripts which could be called by LabVIEW.

I am working on Hyperion, they are using essbase, and Integration connector to connet BW directly and takes data from BW System.They have features to define Exceptions(Traffic Light) and Jump query in the Hyperion side. But now they want to import directly features of Exceptions(Traffic light) and Jump query from BW System(using BAPI) instead of defining Exceptions and Jump Query in the Hyperion side.
Please help me on this.

Export and Imoprting Master and Work Repositories:ODI11g

Hi All,
I have exported our development master and work repositories from ODI as zip files.
IDs of Development master and work Repos are 1 and 2 respectively.
We are NOT using common Master repository across environments,
In test Environment DB I have created 2 schema for testing master and work repository.
While importing the master repository FIRST time in to testing ,I followed this :File->New->Master Repository Import wizard.I gave new ID 22 for master repository for testing and proceeded and it has gone through and i am able to see all topology details.
1)How to import work repository into testing work repository,when i connected with master repository of testing, the designer window is disabled.
Should i create new work repository manually with same ID as of DEV or with different ID and then import into the work repository?
Whats the impact if i am going to create work repository with same ID or different ID?

I have created master repository with ID 22 in Test Env, and created testing WORK repository WORKREP11TEST with ID 23 in this master repository and connected with WORKREP11TEST, while importing Dev work repository WORKREPO which has ID 2 into WORKREP11TEST, i am getting a pop up window saying that
"The work repository 2 is not declared in this master repository ,would you like to declare it?If you refuse, the current import will be cancelled"
what is this actually, i click OK and went ahead, is any impact of this
after importing ,i have re-checked the ID of WORKREP11TEST which shows 23 , this seems to be correct i guess,
please clear me this,
