Database is not getting shutdown when using command "stopsap all"
I installed ERP 2005(ECC6.0) using oracle on HP-UX with SID=ER1, The installation was successful, but I am facing two issues now.
1. When I stop sap using command 'stopsap all' only instances is getting shutdown not the database, I have to Explicitly shutdown the database (oracle).

The Second issue that I am facing is with the dbs_ora_schema= SAPSR3,
but my SID is ER1, it should display SAPER1, can anyone help in changing this.
I tried changing this in .dbenv_hostname.csh & sh files but changing that I even unable to start sap again

I can not get sound when using Petville, on Face Book.
I use my room mates computer, sometimes, as it is a desktop, but he owns it, and has an account for me (I have an old lap top). He is away for Government training in California, and I ABSOLUTELEY CAN NOT mess up his settings...but, I do not think I can, because I am not listed as an administrator. I play Petville, as a silly game, to wind down, but, I can not get SOUND, on this computer anymore...don't know why. Sure there is a reasonable explanation. It worked before, now it does not. At one time I clicked on NO SOUNDS in the control p[anel (maybe I do have administrator priveledges)...changed it to Windows default, added sounds, customized it & named it, on my user name-not his. For the life of me, I cannot figure this out-but after clicking this and that, I realized it is something about applications, and what is compatible with Mozilla/Firefox. HELP!

IPad 2, mails not being sent when using reply to all feature
Hi,
Under BYOD we have iPads being allowed in our office environment. We have Lotus Notes Traveler servers setup for email access.
We are facing an issue with one executive users iPad 2 in the mail app.
The issue is when user is on WIFI and uses a long signature in the iPad and does a "reply to all" to any mail the mail goes and stays in the outbox.
Single reply or composing a new mail works fine. If we remove long signature, then "reply to all" works fine.
This issue is only with Wi-Fi, on GPRS everything works fine with long signature or without.
The iPad is on iOs 6, we tried resetting and restoring the iPad but the issue still persists.
Would really appreciate if you all could help me solve his issue.'

How do I not include myself when using 'Reply to All'?
I'm sure Apple Mail used to send copies of an email to everyone except myself when I hit 'reply to all', but all of a sudden I am being included on the distribution list.
Is there a way to toggle this setting? I can't find anything applicable.
I've looked in Mail -> Preferences... -> Composing and the box labelled 'Automatically Cc: myself' is unchecked.
Any help would be appreciated.

Mike.The settings for this are set per account. So you could turn it on for an account that you use for business, and off for your personal account.
I don't know of any setting to change it per addressee, which might be one way of doing it. -
Print program is not getting triggered when saving the application
Hi all,
My requirement is when i save the invoice using VF01 the print program should get triggered.
The print program is not getting triggered when saving the application even when i have configured the outtype and have attached the print program.
The setting "send immediately (when saving application)" is also checked.
I need to configure it for VF01 transaction.
The error message displayed was " please maintain output device in master data".

1. Defining Access Sequence(can use existing).
2. Defining Output Condition Type(can use existing). - Assigning the Driver Program and Form in processing routine.
3. Output Determination Procedure
4. Assign Output Procedure to Billing Types

Can not print report when using HTML or DHTML
Can not print report when using HTML or DHTML. When I open the report and click the print icon I get a small blank dialog box and then nothing. If I change to activex it works and I can print.

I did not come across this situation before. Did you apply any fix packs. Try to check whether its a issue which can be fixed by applying fix pack( try to check release notes of fix pack and see if they mentioned any thing about this).

Regarding point (b) You should be using the java.net.URLEncoder to encode URL parameters, not a base64 encoder.

How do I save photos that have been synced to my Ipad2, so that they do not get deleted when I sync with a different photo foder on my computer (Pc win7).
Place that first folder of photos that you synced to the iPad within the main folder of photos that you sync from and select them to sync again. You can place any number of subfolders within the main folder that you sync from and select those folders to sync. Just "tick"(select) the folders in the photos tab in iTunes.

But this issue can be solved by logging on from another machine, or restarting the DeskI.
For I can reproduce this issue, so I just want to know that:
1.What is it probably related to?
2.If this issue happens again, what can I suggest my customer for tracking it?
For example, get some log files from servers etc.

Also you can try the following solution.
1. Import the universe.
2. Go to manage access restrictions
3. Remove the restriction .
4. Again create the rescrition and unchecked the " limit size of result set to"
5. Now assign it to the unlimited results group ( this is the name of
the group we have given to those users who should be able to retrieve
more than X rows)
6. Now we save the universe. (Dont export the universe).

0PS_C02 update rules are not getting activated when i install 4rm BI conten

In BI Dev. sys for PS module- Project System - Dates 0PS_C02 cube- update rules are not getting activated when i install from the business content and its giving the error " IC=0PS_C02 IS=0PS_DAT_PRJ error when checking the update rules Message no. RSAU461" .
I deleted the inactive update rules(6 nos) and installed again from BI Content, then the same issue raising.
Can anyone help me out as i stuck up with this to move to go-live.

here are some of the reasons for getting error in update rules activation.
1. Check the formula or routines that are used in Update rules and check is there any syntax errors.
2. check whether the mappings are correct or not.
3. check the info objects which ur used for mapping are in active or not..
(or) if the info object may be deleted which ur using for mappings.

My iPhone was getting hot when used or charging. Went to Apple in Portland, OR. I did a reset on the phone. My IPhone is now making a random sound. Why??? How do I make it stop???? I have turned off all notifications. I do not have life360 or Skype. I do have Facebook, WordsFree, ScrabbleFree, Pandora.
I did the reset. I updated the iPhone to 6.0. The alert sound stopped for a while then started again. I had to go to notifications a few times to turn off some of the alerts and now I have peace, plus I learned more about the notifications. Thanks for your help. I did not need to go to the Apple Store.

When using the 2.6.27 kernel, my HP Pavilion will not boot up when using the battery power..... it won't shutdown either, it will just freeze mid-process unti I plug the AC adapter back in. During the boot up using the battery power, it freezes at the ACPI part.
This has happened on the 2.6.27-2-ARCH kernel, and all other versions of the 2.6.27 that I've built. (all rc versions from rc1 - rc7).
I wish I knew a way to fix this, I have a backup 2.6.26 kerenl on my GRUB list just in case there are no AC adapter outlets.... but it would be nice to fix this.

My AC adapter is different too.
