  • List of sap tables

    Hi all,
    I wanted to display the list of sap tables outside sap. So when i searched through forum i got some relevant FM.
    RFC_READ_TABLE, RFC_GET_TABLE_ENTRIES : RFC function modules doesn't help as they only deal with the display of fields in a table and not the entire table list.
    When i tried with DB fm, my database is oracle so those doesn't help me too.
    Is there any standard program which suits my need.
    Can GET_GLOBAL_SYMBOLS fm be used to retrieve the tables list. If so then what should i give as the program (import parameter) and give some guidance to test that fm.
    Is there any way to retrieve tables with sort criteria as the application module (MM, SD, etc.)
    Pls can anyone help me out.
    Thanx in advance,
    Revathi.

    Hi,
    Thanks for both your replies. My major requirement is to get the list of tables for the particular application module i.e . MM incudes certain tables and SD includes its own tables.
    Is there any fm or bapi which provides the tables list as per the application module.
    Can anybody throw some light on the link between the application module with its tables.
    Regards,
    Revathi.

  • Database list in rsp database setting configuration

    Dear Experts
    When I see the Databases list in RSP under Configuration -> Databases -> Databases tab,
    it shows me already not existing and old version databases.
    I did an upgrade from SBO 2004.2B PL75 ,an old fashioned version to 8.81 PL09.
    When I see in SBO's company selection screen, there is only one database (ex: AA) with version 881317.
    But when I see in RSP, it shows AA with version 730277 and other old databases which are already deleted from SQL Server.
    Because of this problem, I cannot do run the  "System Data Service" in RSP. it shows compatible as X.
    It seems the old database information comes from SBO-COMMON.
    My customer is using SQL Server 2005 std.
    Do someone know how to solve this problem?
    Regards
    Gen Okazaki

    I created a massage to SAP ,get the answer and it has fixed.
    For other who has a same problem I'll attach the advice from SAP below.
    We would like to inform you that in order to try to resolve reported issue please do following:
    1. back up the SBO-COMMON database before running the fix
    2. DELETE [SBO-COMMON].dbo.SRGC
    3. EXEC TmSp_RefreshCompList
    4.SELECT dbName,cmpName,versStr FROM [SBO-COMMON].dbo.SRGC
    5. Check in RSP, if the issue still exists please kindly attach the related Service log file.
    Itu2019s under the RSP install folder,
    C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\Remote support platform for SAP Business One\Service\Logs in case of a 64bit Operating System (OS)
    or
    C:\Program Files\SAP\Remote support platform for SAP Business One\Service\Logs in case of a 32bit OS
    As soon as you provide us the above we will continue investigating this issue.
    Your cooperation is much appreciated

    Syntax: xuser [{options}] [action]
    xuser     7.7.06   Build 010-123-204-327 (record format version: 3)
    Usage: List, clear or setup user specific connection information
    Description: This tool is used to predefine and manage default values
                 for user data and connection options. Every data set
                 is stored with an XUSER key. When connecting to the
                 database without specifying an XUSER key, the key DEFAULT
                 is used. Additionally specified command line options
                 override the XUSER data.
    Options:
        -h show long helptext
        -V           show version of XUSER program
        -A ASCII8    interpret environment and batchfiles as pure ASCII8
        -b file      set user information via batch file
                     The batch file format is analogous to the way you enter
                     options and commands on the command line. Each line in
                     the batch file must contain an option list followed by
                     a command. The lines are processed in the order they
                     occur in the batch file. You can mix 'set' and 'clear'
                     commands in one batch file. You can't use the 'list'
                     command or the option -b. If an error occurs, the batch
                     execution stops at the respective line of the batch file.
           string (no restriction to the length), default '' = current user
        -U user_key           user key
           string (max. 18 characters), default 'DEFAULT'
        -u user_name,password user name/password combination
           2 strings (max. 18 characters), default '',''
        -d database_name      database name to connect to
           string (max. 18 character), default ''
        -n database_server    database server name
           string (max. 64 characters), default '' = local server
        -e encryption         Encryption type valid encryption types
                              are 'SSL'
        -S SQL_mode           SQL mode
           string (max. 8 characters), default ''
           valid modes are 'SAPDB', 'INTERNAL', 'ANSI',
                           'DB2', 'ORACLE' and 'SAPR3'
        -t timeout            connection timeout in seconds
           number (default -1 = default timeout value set in the database
                            0 = no timeout)
        -I isolation_level    isolation level
           number (default -1, valid values are -1,0,1,2,3,9,10,15,20,30)
      The following actions are defined (must always be the LAST argument):
       list    list user connection information (default all user keys)
               ignores all options, except -U
       clear   clear user connection information (default all user keys)
               ignores all options, except -U

  • Do we have a list of SAP certified system integrators for HANA Enterprise Cloud

    I am in a sales cycle and SAP services estimated price for implementation is to expensive and we are pitching HEC.  Do we have a list of SAP certified system integrators for HANA Enterprise Cloud for ERP (Finance and Merchandising for Retail)?

    Yeah, not sure why they took it out of the cloud interface.
    But if you go to http://www.businesscatalyst.com/partnerportal and login with your cloud ID you will have access to all your cloud sites and many other features.

    Hi Mohan,
    After any change in the existing structure of the table you need to adjust and then activate it.
    It can be done using SE14 tcode, please try using this.

  • Extracting Values of a Field from a Database Table in SAP ECC System

    Hi,
    I downloaded Extracting Values of a Field from a Database Table in SAP ECC System Using MII 12.0
    senario from sdn. I'm trying to do that senario in MII 12.05. But I have problem with section 6 in page 7 (you can supply senario from sdn)
    "6- Under the loop of Repeater, use action u2018Rowu2019 to append just the string part of the WA which will display only values for field u2018Batchu2019"
    I did not find WA elemen in Output element of Repeater_0
    How can I create WA element?
    Thanks.

    Cemil,
    Set up a SAP JCo Interface action block.  Use the RFC name RFC_READ_TABLE.
    In the link editor map the table to "MARA", set RowCount to something small (20 is good sample size) and create an xml transaction property named FIELDS and copy the following into it:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><FIELDS>
          <item>
            <FIELDNAME>MATNR</FIELDNAME>
            <OFFSET/>
            <LENGTH/>
            <TYPE/>
            <FIELDTEXT/>
          </item>
          <item>
            <FIELDNAME>MTART</FIELDNAME>
            <OFFSET/>
            <LENGTH/>
            <TYPE/>
            <FIELDTEXT/>
          </item>
          <item>
            <FIELDNAME>BSTME</FIELDNAME>
            <OFFSET/>
            <LENGTH/>
            <TYPE/>
            <FIELDTEXT/>
          </item>
          <item>
            <FIELDNAME>XCHPF</FIELDNAME>
            <OFFSET/>
            <LENGTH/>
            <TYPE/>
            <FIELDTEXT/>
          </item>
          <item>
            <FIELDNAME>DATAB</FIELDNAME>
            <OFFSET/>
            <LENGTH/>
            <TYPE/>
            <FIELDTEXT/>
          </item>
        </FIELDS>
    Then link the Transaction.FIELDS to SAP_JCo_Interface_0.Request{/RFC_READ_TABLE/TABLES/FIELDS}.  You may run into problems with two other fields and optionally they can be removed (set link type to remove xml).  I usually remove them initially for testing.  The two fields are:
    SAP_JCo_Interface_0.Request{/RFC_READ_TABLE/INPUT/NO_DATA}
    SAP_JCo_Interface_0.Request{/RFC_READ_TABLE/INPUT/DELIMITER} (or you can set this to something like a semicolon,";" or tilda,"~".  I find it easier to caclulate position by length, but that is my own idiosyncrasy.)
    Once you get this one working, we can explore how to do filtering on the dataset.  Your output should be something like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <RFC_READ_TABLE>
      <INPUT>
        <DELIMITER />
        <NO_DATA />
        <QUERY_TABLE>MARA</QUERY_TABLE>
        <ROWCOUNT>20</ROWCOUNT>
        <ROWSKIPS>0</ROWSKIPS>
      </INPUT>

    Add a repeater sourced on:
    SAP_JCo_Interface_0.Response{/RFC_READ_TABLE/TABLES/DATA/item}
    Link your repeater output to a tracer with this:
    Repeater_0.Output{/item/WA}
    What you will see in each tracer message is a single line of data with all the fields contents concatenated together.  You can look up what each field in the string represents by the length of the field as returned in the Response segment of the RFC_READ_TABLE rfc.  Then you can parse out the data you are interested in.
    Give this a try and let me know how you succeeded.
    By the way, I could not find the scenario you referred to.  Can you post a link?

    Mike

  • How to get the list of SAP Servers defined in xMII?

    Hi,
    We have a requirement to get the list of SAP Servers defined in xMII and show them in a html dropdown field? We know that we could achieve this by using a custom action block.
    Is there any way to get this list of SAP servers without using custom action block?
    Thanks,
    Sara

    Thanks, Udayan.
    I am actually looking for a Query Template which can return the list of SAP Servers.
    Thanks,

  • Printing immedietely of Putaway list or Pick list in SAP WM

    Hi
    We have one requirement in WMS rollout is:
    For automatic background printing of Putaway list or Pick list in SAP WM, System doesnt recognize Printer name as LOCL (settings in T code- OMLV). In OMLV we must have a network printer name for automatic printing the Putaway List after MIGO transaction and also for automatic printing the Pick List in Background with WMTA out put type - which triggers during delivery creation.
    If we configure LOCL in OMLV screen the spool gets generated but it doesnt execute automatically and that needs to be triggered manually using T code SP02 or SP01.
    We want to print these putaway or pick list automatically(either thru LOCL or network printer) immediate after generating a spool(without any user interaction).
    Regards,
    MM

    Hi MM,
    Inorder to get automatic put away list after GR you need to define the printer in OMLV settings.
    Step 1:
    If you are using Ricoh printer (Paper print out of TO) and Zebra Printer (Label printer for printing labels), you need define this combination under the icon "Printer pool/Labels".
    Warehouse - Ricoh printer name - Zebra printer name (Pre-condition : Both the Ricoh and Zebra printers needs to be configured in SAP by your Basis team).
    Step 2:
    Under icon "Warehouse Movement" in the Assignment section, you need to define the condition for printing.
    For example
    Warehouse no: Source str type  Destination str. type  Printername
    AB1                    902                         ***                         Ricoh printer name1
    AB1                    Q01                         ***                         Ricoh printer name2
    The above situation prints all put away list for receiving area to Ricoh printer name 1 & all put away list cleared by QA people to Ricoh printer name 2.
    Step 3:
    Analyze the condition set under the icon "Analyze" (print control tables).
    You can re-check the conditions set by you in the above section. specify the warehouse number, source str type, dest. str type and execute you should be getting the printer name correctly assigned in the earlier section.
    Hope the above explanation helps. Pls award points if you feel appropriate.

  • Automated export appearing on database list

    Hello,
    I have an Azure SQL Database (Web edition) with an automated export set for daily exports.
    Sometimes (like today for instance) when I log into Azure management portal, I see an additional database listed with the name of my export.
    As far as I know, an export should not be listed as a new available database, right?
    Why this is happening and how can I fix that?
    Thank you,
    Igor
    .NET Software developer for industrial internet and automation system.

    Hello Igor,
    Thank you for asking this question.
    The Automated Export service creates a database copy of the database you are exporting. It then will perform the export operation on the copy of the database. This is done to guarantee transaction consistency during the export. After the export has completed
    the database copy will be deleted.
    You can learn more about Import/Export and Automated Export here https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/hh335292.aspx
    Additionally if you are interested in our Basic, Standard, or Premium service tiers, they come with built-in restore capabilities.
    You can learn more about these capabilities and other business continuity capabilities here https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/hh852669.aspx
    If you would like to share more about your scenario or discuss Azure SQL Database's backup and restore capabilities in further detail please email me at Elfish at Microsoft dot com.
    Thanks and I hope this helps,

  • Service Not Listed in SAP Service Marketplace

    Helllo All,
    Due to mixed system information in the registration details stored for one our Solution Manager services I deleted the information that was stored in SAP Service Marketplace and successfully re-registered the service with the correct details yesterday.
    However, the service (SID) is now not present in SAP Service Marketplace when I search for it and as such SAP can not connect to the service and I can not raise messages against it.  Prior to deleting the Service it was present.
    Please could someome advise what needs to be done to ensure the service is re-listed within SAP Service Marketplace.
    Do I need to contact a specific department / contact within SAP to accept the re-registration of the service ?
    Many thanks,

    Hello,
    I think you should open an OSS message (using another system SID), under component XX-SER-SAPSMP. They should help you to set the services related to your installation properly.
    Hope this helps.
    Best Regards

  • The third party database supported by SAP BW

    Hi
    Apart from SAP R/3 , my client has a historical data in thier legacy system so called  MFG/PRO, they wondering if SAP BW is allow to connect to such system.  Anyone know where I can check the third party database supported by SAP BW ?
    Panadda

    Hi:
    The native SAP NetWeaver BI functionality delivered to connect with such a system is called UDconnect ("BW" is an old term).
    Here are some resources
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/78/ef1441a509064abee6ffd6f38278fd/frameset.htm
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/58f4db47-0501-0010-a2bf-ff01b150fdff
    You should be able to find a JDBC or ODBO driver for such a system that can work with UDconnect.
    Thanks for any points you choose to assign.
