Database problem AGAIN ! ! !

I have been busting my head, but I did not find a solution. I tried many variations, for example a Statement instead of PreaparedStatement but nothing works...

And another reason.. columns should be accessed once only and in the same order as they appear in your select. This is what you should do, although many drivers let you away with doing as you like. The ODBC bridge driver is not one of these though. You must access column once and in the order it appears. What order? Who knows because you also have a mistake here
SELECT * Don't ever do that, it's very bad practice. Specifically name the columns and the order you want them to appear. It makes your code self-documenting and as the added bonus of not breaking later under certain changes that would break * are made to the database table. Such as column insertion or column re-ordering.
For what it's worth your exception is caused by not being on a valid row. When you first get your result set back from executeQuery you are positioned before the first valid row. So you need to move to the next row which would in this case be the first row. So look for a method that can move the cursor to the next row.
