Database still showing 9.2.0.5 after applying patch 4287598
Hi all,
I am upgrading the oracle Application 11.5.10 to 11.5.10.2. For this i am following the 11.5.10.2 Technology Stack Validation Patch readme.
As per the utility's output on database server node, I have applied the patch 4287598 to upgrade database version 9.2.0.5 to 9.2.0.6. But after applying the patch also database still showing 9.2.05.
How to get currect database version?
Please help.

To upgrade the database to 9.2.0.6, you need to apply (Patch 3948480 - 9.2.0.6 PATCH SET FOR ORACLE DATABASE SERVER).

So how can I get it back to where there is a seperate visual thumbnail page of tabs. This new tabs on the top is a big mistake in my opinion. After applying patch 5156915 we get this errro when we select i Procrurment responsibility:
The POR SSP HOME function is not available under the Internet Procurement responsibility.
iProcurement is installed.

I am a little worried that I couldnt find that same document.
I entered in ML "The POR SSP HOME function is not available" ....and that document did not appear.
Then I entered it with underscores : "The POR_SSP_HOME function is not available" ... and now I can see the doc.
How did you do your search?! I am guessing you used udnerscores or else something different? ? ?

By the way we are told to "clear" the _pages directory. I would do this with
cat /dev/null > oa_html , etc ?

After applying patch 3.0.9.8.1, get an invalid package.
Upon trying to compile the package WWSBR_IMT_SERVICES the following error
occurs

Issue with updation of PAN details in ESS after applying patch

We have applied a new patch recently,

SAP_HR - To patch - 49
EA_HR - To Patch - 49
When users are trying to update PAN details it says throwing error " fill in the required fields,"
i tried to apply relevent note :1243216 , but iam not able to apply it as system says it cannot be implemeted.

Just go to the System Configuration and UME configuration.
Now go to user mapping tab, and remove the entry for a reference system. Then check for the issue if persists, restart system.

Bank sub account line item still showing as a open item after down payment

1) i created a dwnpymt req using TCODE:f_37
2) created dwnpymt for dwmpymt req using TCODE:F-29
3) created customer invoice using Tcode:F-22
4) clear dwnpyment req against invioce using TCODe:F-39
now my question is when i create dwn pyment i used bank subaccount(cheq rec) to debit and customer to credit
so after i cleared dwnpymt with invoice. the bank sub account line item still showing as a open item .
why?

The bank sub account that has been posted gets cleared when you run manual or electronic bank statement.
Let me explain you in detail
The entry that got posted during the down payment received from Customer--
Check Receipt A/C Debit
Customer A/C Credit
When you run the manual or electronic bank statement the entry gets posted as
Main Bank A/C Debit
Check Receipt A/C Credit there by clearing the open item from the Check Receipt A/C.
Hope this helps you in understanding how the open item in Check Receipt A/C gets cleared.

Sample still showing in quality inspection stock after usage decision completed
After process order completed, we have received 100 units as a quality inspection stock. After usage decision,( QA11), I have posted 98 units to unrestricted use and 2 units to the to sample usage
98 units successfully move to unrestricted stock.
However 2 units for sample still showing quality inspection stock.
I have checked MB51, mat document number for sample is 4900000160 and movement type is 331

Please tick it and try again with whole process.
Destructive Insp. : You specify whether the sample is to be destroyed after inspection. This means that is no longer available. This quantity is used in the usage decision as the proposed quantity for the posting to sample. -
Problems after applying patch 5 of CM & Collaboration on EP 6.0 SP2
hi everyone.
here is the problem
we recently applied patch 5 for CM on EP 6.0 SP2
the portal platform is at patch 27.
after having applied the patch the logs indicated that the upgrade sequence completed successfully.
however after we restarted the portal and logged back in none of the KM repositories are accessible. it just says not found / is not accessible or is not available.
under system admin when we go into Content Management Configuration it says invalid Repository Managers.
i have reset the SAPWCM user password and check the connection pool settings but still nuthin.
i have checked the cm.properties and config_local.properties files. however i have no document to compare what the correct format of the entries in these files is. i know they are supposed to have identical entries.
can somebody help?

I had the same problems after patching CM. I had to re-enter the WCM password of the 3 CM Conenction Pools in the CM Configuration under "jdbc connection pools".

Icons for the Reports missing in Workspace after applying patches
Hello Gurus,
I have installed 11.1.2.2 on one of my VM's and then applied the 11.1.2.2.300 patch on it.
I have followed the Read Me for all the patches before applying them.
After applying the patches however the icons for the Reports in workspace

Yes all the components show green and I can access the reports without any issues. Its just the icon that does not show up.
I will check the logs you have mentioned to see if there are any exceptions in them.
But the issues started up after applying the patches for 11.1.2.2.
I have checked the location path mentioned in Weblogic.xml in raframework.war file and the path points to the correct folder location where the folders mt and mt_thumbnails are located.
Is the any other way out?
Should I delete the contents inside the tmp folder located in RAFramework0
or
Can reconfigurin Reporting and Analysis framework services help in resolving the issue?

After we have applied the support package, the program needs to complie. I know that it has the SGEN t-code to generate all objects. I have tried this. However, it still needs to complie the program after I have run the SGEN schedule job. Any solution to complie all programs after applying the support package.
