  • Message: "The database structure has been modified" every time I log to SAP

    Hello,
"The database structure has been modified. In order to resume this process, all open windows will be closed". Every time I log to one of my companies in SAP Business One this message appears.
I haven't installed any new addons and made no changes in database structure (and any other user hasn't done any changes), but this message appears always when I log to company for the first time (when I try to log on another user or log to another company there is no message). Can anyone help me with this problem?

  • The database structure has been modified - how to check if it happend?

    Hello,
I have a question. How to check if the database structure has been modified? I know that there is shown a messagebox after creating table and adding some fields, but sometimes this message appear after some seconds. The problem is that I want to create table and UDO for this table, and until database structure is not modified I got an error message. If I wait and DB strucuture modifies then UDO is creating correctly.
My question is - does anyone know how to check if database structure has been modified?
    Regards,
    Hmg

    Hi Szymon,
I guess you are stuck up in a kinda scenario, where in, you will be populating a form with values, before the structure modifies, if this is going to be your problem, I can help you out with a work around.
In the beginning of the process, before the creation of the UDO or tables, set a boolean value to false, and once all UDO's and Tables are created, only then, should you make it true and only after the boolean becomes true, you should proceed with populating the values from the screen.
I really ament sure what your problem is, but one of my guys faced this problem, I then, thought even you might have a similar problem.
    Satish.

  • The Database Structure Has Been Modified

    Good Day!
Just want to ask what is the probable reason why upon using SAP, there is a system message " The database structure has been modified. In order to resume the process, all open windows will be closed. Continue?"  Even upon user log in , this system message appear affecting other user's data entry. Upon adding of the document (of other users when this system message appear), all the UDFs are missing, causing their data entry to be inaccurate since you cannot update row level once the document has been added.
Hope to hear from you soon.
    Thanks
    Sandra

    Hello ...
This error message appears every time that has altered the structure of the database, either by creating a new field of user or user table, so it is inevitable that appear the same.
Now, it is necessary as a measure, to control who has access to make these changes, and that they are made without users.
    I hope it will help

  • [APEX 3] Requested source data of the report has been modified

    Hello APEX-Friends,
I have a common problem but the situation is a bit different here. Many of you might know the "invalid set of rows requested the source data of the report has been modified" problem. Often it occurs on submit. That means, you have a report, you select rows, you do things, you submit the page and everything blews up.
This is because you enter some values into fields the report depends on and so you modify your report parameters and the source data changes.
    But:
In my case I have a dynamically created report that blews up before any submits occur or values change.
My query is a union of two selects. Both query different views. Those views use a date field as parameter and some compare functions.
I read the field with a V-Function i wrapped arround the apex V Function - declared as deterministic. My date compare function is also declared deterministic (I doubt this makes any differences as it might be only important for the optimizer, but as long as I don't know exactly what APEX evaluates, I go for sure).
I ensured, that the date field is set by default with the current date (and that works, because my interactive report initially displays correct data from the current date).
So everything is deterministic and the query must return same results on subsequent calls, but APEX still throws this "source data has changed" error and I am to 99.99% sure, that this cannot be true.
And now the awesome thing about this:
If I change the value of the date field, an javascript performs a submit. The page is reloaded (without resetting pagination!) and everything works fine. I can leave the page, reenter, do things - everything works well.
But if I log into the application and directly move to the corrupted report and try to use the pagination without editing fields or submitting the page the error occurs.
Do you have any Idea what's happing there? I could try to workaround this by submitting the page the first time it's entered to trigger this "mystery submit" that gets everything working. But I would like to understand this issue and have a clean solution.
    Thanks in advance,
    Mike aka UniversE

Okay, I found a solution, but I do not understand it - it might be a design flaw in APEX.
I mentioned the date field that is used in the query. I also mentioned that it is set with the current date by default. I did not mention how.
There are some possibilities in APEX to do so.
    1. Default-Setting in the element properties
    2. Static assignment if no value is in session cache
    3. Computation before header
I did the first and second.
    BUT:
An interactive report seems to work as follows. A query is executed to get all rows of the report. Then a second query is executed to get the rows that shall be displayed. And the order is screwed up, I think.
    1. The first report query to get all rows
    2. The elements are loaded and set to default values
    3. The second report query to get the display rows
And that's the reason why nothing worked. Scince I added a computation before header the date field is set before the report queries are executed and everything works all fine now.
But I think it's a design flaw. Either both queries shall be executed before Regions or afterwards but not split as field values might change when elements are loaded.

  • Hi There! I have a question on Kernel Task-Threat. How can I clean my computer? This is the message --Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent" has been modified and will not be repaired.

Hi There! I have a question on Kernel Task-Threat. How can I clean my computer? This is the message that persists when cleaning disc--Warning: SUID file “System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent” has been modified and will not be repaired.

That's a routine message and it means nothing. Don't waste your time repairing permissions unless you know you have a problem that can be solved that way, which you probably never will.

  • TS5362 When I typed in -/Library/Keychains/  in the Go To Folder box, I got the message back that the folder could not be found.  Possibly to add to that, when I did a permissions repair I got this message "SUID file sys/Lib/CoreS...has been modified...

When I typed in -/Library/Keychains/  in the Go To Folder box, I got the message  that the folder could not be found.  Possibly related to that, when I did a permissions repair I got this message "SUID file sys/Lib/CoreS...has been modified and will not be repaired.  How can I undo the problems that Mavericks 10.9.1 seems to have caused?

    1. You need to type or paste in ~/Library/Keychains/ and not -/Library/Keychains/.
    2. If the repair permissions message refers to ARDAgent, it's normal.

  • After updating to Mavericks, get this during Permissions Repair: Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent" has been modified and will not be repaired"?

Repaired permissions once, got rid of the the previous iTunes errors. Cleared history and repaired again, still get:
Warning: SUID file “System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent” has been modified and will not be repaired.
    Any ideas?

I have just started seeing this message and, almost simultaneously, have started to have problems with various different apps crashing for no real reason. Just a coincidence?
For interest, SketchUp crashed with the message
    "Exception Type:  EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
    Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x00000000f7f7fff9"
    and QuarkXpress with the message
    "Exception Type:  EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
    Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x0000000000000000"
Am I just punching at shadows or could these be linked?
Hope someone can put my mind at rest.
    Cheers....Scotty

  • Just loaded Lion:  Now, Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent" has been modified and will not be repaired.  What can I do about this?

No permissions repair trouble the whole time I had my new MacBook Pro.  Now, I get this message (after a ton of necesary repairs:
Warning: SUID file “System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent” has been modified and will not be repaired.
What does this mean, and what can i do?

I see the same thing but it does not appear to be a problem. Some discussion in:
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/15688567#15688567
I'm actually seeing a lot fewer permission repairs than I used to see (and they didn't seem to cause problems either ). Hope that helps!

Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent" has been modified and will not be repaired.
    <Subject Edited by Host>

I know this question has been sort of answered but not properly in my opinion.
There should be no permissions to repair once they have been repaired.
There should also be no permissions that can't be fixed especailly by Apple.
    Many computers have seen this:
"System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAge nt" has been modified and will not be repaired."
To me this is not normal even though Apple may say it is.
Not all computers have this so why do some other computers show this problem?
I have fixed this on my computers as I can't stand to have things like this show up when they shouldn't.
I replaced the problematic ArdAgent by using a copy from another computer that did not have that warning.
Once, replaced, I got the message in Disk Utility when I repaired the permissions with this new one:
    Permissions differ for:
    System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAgen t
should be "0" instead of 501 (or something like this)
Then it states those permissions were repaired.
Now I no longer get that stupid warning about the ARDAgent.
For those of you that want to get rid of that warning, try using a copy from another computer running the same system.
    Worked for me.
I also repaired a few other permissions that always kept coming back even though Disk Utility said they were repaired.
    Hogwash.
If it was repaired then the same exact ones wouldn't be coming back everytime you repair permissions.
In my mind, there should be no permissions to repair once they have been repaired.
Otherwise, they were not fixed or repaired in the first place.
I now no longer have any permissions to repair unless I may install something new that might need repair.
    Good luck with your mileage.
This is how Disk Utility should look like without any permissions to repair once you have repaired them one time, and one time, only.
    Clean bill of health.

  • Warning: SUID file has been modified and will not be repaired.

Any courageous guesses to the meaning of this somber conversation reported in Disk Utility following a permission repair after installing OSX 10.5 ?
    Thank you Frederick

    Hi ELBiggus
This is the Disk Utility conversation . I spoke with an Apple Technician who suggested that the double layer DVD installation disk Leopard is smart enough to do a clean install on all Apple hardware . So I am going to back up the Macbook pro and do the Clean and Install . Then I will see if that doesn't kill the problem , WHATEVER THE PROBLEM IS !!!
I still don't really know what it is , but it feels ominously similar to disk failure .
    Repairing permissions for “Untitled”
Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent" has been modified and will not be repaired.
    Permissions repair complete

  • Permissions verify/repair has been modified and will not be repaired.

Lately, I have noticed a slower response and web pages with text,
    are scrambled.
So I got rid of the too many jpeg pictures I had, and ran disk utility.
First ran verify and then repair.
    The report shows as follows:
    1.Warning:SUID file "system/library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent"
has been modified and will not be repaired.
2.Warning:SUID file "System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/DesktopServicesPriv.framework/Versions/A/Reso urces/Locum" has been modified and will not be repaired.
Is this something I need to take action on?
Or when the system modified them, it should be ok?
This imac is less than six months old, so I don't want to have any problems.
Perhaps the two issues have nothing to do with this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Signed,
    Self taught MacMan/ John

No problems. Common to see that and nothing to take action over.
    SUID - permissions repair messages:
Apple has this to say about that:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1448

  • What does this message mean? "Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent" has been modified and will not be repaired"

What does this message mean? "Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent" has been modified and will not be repaired"  I get this when I try to repair permissions in disk utility.

It's an innocuous error you can ignore. It was introduced with previous updates for ARD and/or Java before Lion. These are messages, not errors. They will cause no harm, and they will be repeated each time you repair permissions.

  • Gettig "Record has been modified" error while opening a window

    Hi,
I have a window 'A' and window 'B'. On click of a button from 'A' window 'B' is opened. There are 3 fields in the window 'B' and these 3 fields are the part of the query which gets executed in window 'A'.
Now on click of the button I am executing a proc which is setting window 'B' field values again. After this when you open the window 'B' it gives the error saying "Record has been modified". I tried giving commit_form after setting the fields but still it throws the error.
    Please advice on this.
    Thank you
