Do I need any additional drivers?

example : postgresql, mysql, hsql
and, yes, you do need a driver(jdbc) ...or you can use odbc-jdbc that provided by
java...

And i am not getting any dumps.

why not sap creates its own database system other then using the Microsoft ,Oracle and IBM's database's , which can reduce the sap installation cost for customers

have you ever heard of MaxDB? It was formerly called SAPDB. Support for MaxDB is not for free, but cheaper than the other RDBMS. The feature set is limited, but you get (almost) all you need for SAP systems.

Hi,
After activating the Index from SE11,
I receive the following Warning:
Index does not exist in database system MSSQL.
What does this mean? Has performance been increased or does the index 1st have to exist in the database system MSSQL?

When you create index at SE11 and you need activate database utility.
utilitities-database utility->then click activate and adjust database.
else you can use SE14 and so that Index will create databse level.

I created a Secondary Index in DEV, its fine and the message is,
Index KNA1~Z01 exists in database system ORACLE
I moved it to TEST and there I got the message is like,
Index does not exist in database system ORACLE
So,
1 - Wht I hv to do now? Shuld I see BASIS people?
2- Why its happened like that? Coz of not enough space?

In development system i have added a field into already existing index and activated successfully without any errors or warnings and after transported the TR into Quality system,In Quality system it shows the warning Index does not exist in database system DB6 sap

Hi Mohan,
After any change in the existing structure of the table you need to adjust and then activate it.
It can be done using SE14 tcode, please try using this.

Problem : Index does not exist in database system DB6.
I need further explanation why when i transport index from Development Client to Production Client the index is active but does not exist in database system DB6.
So when the cases is occurs i must re-create the index again in Production Level...
Can someone give me some ideas?

Hi,
it might be due to some BUG in RDBMS...
First Check the Secondary index in TEST system
Look at the Transport Number in DEV system, If this is having error, then it will show you the error details also,
If that not moved Properly then you need to create another request for the INDEX and move it again

You're probably better off consulting the documentation for the DOS program you're trying to deal with than hoping someone here will be able to guess what program you're using, identify the structure of the files, and tell you how to extract the data into something Oracle can import.

How do I "Install OS 9 System Support"on my iMac G5?

I have read most of the posts discussing this topic but none of them appear to answer my problem.
My iMacG5 is running OS X 10.4.9. Classic 1.1 is listed in the system library. When I attempted to open Classic by clicking on an OS 9 application I got the message "Install OS 9 System Support". There is no OS9 System folder. According to the instruction book that should be easy to fix from the #2 blue-gray disk furnished with the computer with a label "Includes OS 9.2". However, the installation proceeds normally to the final Install button which produces the message "You cannot continue. There is nothing to install." What did I do wrong? What should I try next?
I note that the SN of this computer is high enough that it won't boot to OS9,but all I want is Classic.

That article almost did it, but it did not tell me that I had to hilite the chosen language in the bottom panel by wiping the mouse across it before pushing install. Just choosing it from the list and having it appear in the bottom panel didn't work. Also, just clicking on it with the mouse did not hilite it and I got the same error message "Nothing to install".
I played around a little and after getting it to hilite the installation proceeded and now I am happily in OS 9 writing my memoirs with Word 5 (best Word version that Bill has sold us, so far).

With a single user license, you can install Acrobat on maximum two computers, say, your laptop at work and desktop at office.
But, you cannot use Acrobat on both the machines simultaneously.
You will first need to deactivate Acrobat from the old machine, then install and activate the software on the new OS with the same serial key.

Yes you can use any version but i recommend you to use 6.2

i am trying to access tables from SQL Server using DB connect.i have created one source system using SAP library help.
when right click source system and selected
'select Database tables' i am getting the following error.
"There is no table in database system BW_POS"
BW_POS is my source system name.

while creating the source system i have followed that note 512739 and i checked that the all the tables and fields are in UPPER case.even the roles and authorizations are given for create VIEW and selct the DB tables.when i check the same DBuser with the client and executed the SQLquery(in SQL Query Analyzer) i am getting the records in that.

Final Cut Pro System support folder missing

I downloaded a cool plug in for a aged film look but I cannot find the "Final Cut Pro System support folder" in which i have to place this plug-in.
Any Ideas?
