Databases are deleted when report is closed in Sage PFW

I am using Crystal Reports 10 with Sage PFW. I created an Access Database using Microsoft Access 2003. I am using Sage PFW 5.71. The report works well when running it from Crystal Reports, but when I run the report through Sage PFW, the database is deleted after I close the report. This also happened with an Excel database. Any suggestions on how to prevent this from happening?

As bad as it sounds; ask Sage. It's their application using Crystal Reports. We have no idea what the app does, other than launching a report.

Is there a way to set the option for "When viewing report" to "Use same database logon as when report is run" for all reports?

If scheduling we have schedule manager in XIR2 which will do a folder at a time, it's been added to the CMC in 3.x I believe.
For running the reports I think you would need to use the [SDK|/community [original link is broken]; if if you wanted to modify a bunch of reports at the same time, or use the publishing wizard to publish a bunch of them (no use if the reports are already uploaded)

Cube Databases Are Deleted with Server Reboot

We have deployed two small cubes in our SQL 2012 SSAS environment running on Windows Server 2012. Every time the server is rebooted, the cube databases are deleted. The database files deleted are in the default directory. We have added
exclusions for these directories in the AV software running on the server. We even added NetStop commands to stop the SSAS, SQL Agent and SQL Server services before the reboot occurs to make sure SQL Server is stopped before reboot. Has anyone
encountered this? If so, do you have a fix for this issue?

In your description, you said that the SQL Server Analysis Services cubes were deleted after the server reboot, right? We cannot reproduce this issue in our local environment. In order to narrow down this issue, please apply the latest Cumulative Update
and Services Pack.
Besides, does this issue occur when you restart the services manually? As per my understanding, the issue can be caused by the server reboot. Are there any error message on the log? Under C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSAS11.\OLAP\Log (this could
be different for your server), there are 3 log files that are generated:
msmdrrv.log
FlightRecorderCurrent.trc
FightRecorderBack.trc
The msmdrrv.log simply points to the other two logs. There might be some detail information for this error.

Any time mail disappears from the server, there's a pretty good chance there's some device pulling it off. This can happen even without you intending it to. For example, the default Verizon setup for a long time (and possibly still) configured Outlook automatically unless you were paying attention and unchecked the box during the install.
The easiest way to fix it is to change your password. Once the device(s) can no longer authenticate, the disappearances should stop.

Does not say "The oldest backups are deleted when your disk becomes full."

I am helping someone set up her backup, but I noticed that in the Time Machine window, there is no line that says: "The oldest backups are deleted when your disk becomes full."
She is running Mac OS 10.5.8, on a 2.66 GHz Quad-Core. Her first backup ran fine, but we're concerned that it will not delete older backups automatically to make space.

It works differently in Leopard and Snow Leopard.
In Leopard, the box is titled +Warn when old backups are deleted,+ and Time Machine will fail with a message when it runs out of room and that box is checked.
On Snow Leopard, the title is +Notify after old backups are deleted,+ and that's what happens -- the old backups are deleted, then you get a notice.

URGENT!!! My apps are deleted when i sync as i transfer videos

I just bought my beloved iphone 4 and was very excited to transfer my videos since i had lots of them in my computer ( Windows Vista )
After a few days of overpower of downloading and using Apps on my iphone 4 .
I tried to copy more videos to my iphone 4 while sync it prompt about Apps will be remove or something . I clicked cancel and it started Sync
When i go to my home of my iphone 4 ... all my apps are deleted
Anyone know how to transfer videos to your iphone 4 without getting the Apps deleted ?

When i was press the Sync button , there will be a prompt stating about the Apps cannot be transfered or " do you want to remove them "

All paths are deleted when saving as jpeg

This problem has been migrating and now is affecting all of my files.
When I save an image as a jpeg from the "Save As" dropdown menu (NOT save for web) all of my paths are gone when the image is repoened.

I was also having the same problem, some JPEG lost its path after saving....
My situation was, when i made a selection and convert it to work path with tolerance 0.5px and save the path. After that, saved it as another name but it still lost its all paths. I tried to increase the tolerance to 1px and then save it again, this time all the path still remained. we have to guess the tolerance where the path will not lost. I think this is not the case that affect the losing of the paths. After reading all the above posts, i guess it is related to Extensis Fusion plug in problem. I tried to remove away from photoshop plug in folder and tried with the image that caused the losing path, this time i had successfully save the work path no matter what tolerance was given.

Apps are restarting when they were closed prior to shutdown.

I am running an iMac 13.1. The system is super fast - especially after installing Mavericks. My issue is related to startup when apps are automatically start up even though I closed them prior to shutdown and I have unchecked the box that will restart open apps in the shutdown window.
If I wait 15 to 20 seconds after closing all apps prior to shutdown I have no issue when I restart my iMac. But it seems like the queue that keeps track of apps that are/were running is not being flushed completely if I shutdown my computer with a few seconds after closing the last app. Not saying that this a big issue but it does seem like there is a delay in clearing the app queue on faster Macs.
Anyone have a solution to this problem?

Why don't you explain what happens when you try to delete these two apps that are showing that they need updates. You can only delete them if they are actually installEd on the iPad. Are they on the device?

IPhoto 08 problem: photos in book are deleted when moved to photo toolbar

When I move a photo from one of the pages in the photo book back to the photo tool bar (or whatever it is called) at the top of the page the photo disappears rather than staying there. If I go to edit to undo the action it returns to the page vs returning to the tool bar. I've restarted iPhoto and rebuilt the iPhoto thumbnails without success. I also tried to delete the preference files (com.apple.iphoto.plist) without success as when I relaunched iPhoto it didn't dislpay my photo's. I was able to restore iPhoto by dragging the original plist back to the preference files.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was able to find the photos after an extensive search. I checked and they are being placed "manually" rather than by date so they should be staying where I placed them when removing them from the books page. One other odd thing is that if I try to select them for deletion from the strip above the book page they simply disappear rather than being outlined but they then magically reappear when I try to select another photo for deletion. unless someone has experienced the same issue it looks like I'll be taking advantage of my Applecare agreement.

The option in Tools/Options to show my windows and tabs from last time has suddenly stopped working and all tabs are deleted when Firefox is re-opened.

For some unknown reason this option has died. I have not changed anything and checked that the setting is correct. How do i get it working again. I work across a number of tabs at a time and have now lost a session and cannot recall all the websites concerned.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).

Ive done something to my icloud. Every time I click on a bookmark it updates and deletes everything. Everything in that bookmark is lost on my iphone and my laptop. How do I retrieve my deleted bookmarks?

If you see next to these bookmarks you are in Edit mode and tapping the bookmark will delete it. If that's the case you need to tap Done to exit this mode.
If you don't see the symbol, try going to Settings>iCloud, turn Safari off, then after a few seconds turn it back on. Then test your bookmarks again.

Files are deleted when phone reboots

This is the second Curve 9330 I own that deletes my pictures and other files I had saved when I select to reboot my phone and/or remove the battery to reboot. Why is this?

oh man, yes, that could be it. Actually i don't delete them from my harddrive but i do from my iTunes library, because they are not for me and i don't like to see them in my library. I'll try to keep them in the library and ill let you know, thank you very much.
