OS - Sun OS 5.10 local zone. RDBMS version - 11.2.0.3
Databases are not coming up after server reboot.
We have verified the below points.
Cat/etc/init.d/oracle
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/oradism file permissions are 4550.
lock_sga is parameter set to false.
cat /var/opt/oracle/oratab entries are set to Y
Still Databases are not coming up after server reboot.
Please advise.

Hi,
Can you post further information from alert log. Doesn't coming up, means you needs to share the information some thing about your environmente settings about kernel parameter and init$ORACLE_SID parameters details.
That would be easy for others to look into it further to analyze things.

Access point are not coming up after upgrade image of WLC

I have AIR-WLC4402-50-K9 WLC i that current IOS is 7.0.98.218 and i upgraded with 7.0.116.0 IOS but after upgrading and reboot the WLC from 15 access point 3 access point are not coming up and 12 are coing up and working fine (4 1142 and 11 1131 series access point) 3 which are not coimg is 1131 series access point. when i login with console to 3 access point its rebooting 2 times and coming on ap: prompt.
In between that i reloaded the WLC one more time because from 15 acess point only 4 aceess point are came up and i also cleck the show boot on wlc its output is
7.0.116.0 (default)
7.0.98.218 (active)
so i reload the wlc and checked out of 15 acess point now 12 acess point are up and still 3 are not. And i also checked the output of show boot command its
7.0.116.0 (default)(active)
7.0.98.218
So i things its because of when 2nd time i reload the wlc the remaining 3 access point are getting image from wlc but because of reload its connection should be loss and error loading flash error are coming on acess point.
After that i recover the IOS for access point and convert into autonomus and from autonomus convert into Leightweight Access point. I also attached the procedure for recover the ios of access poing
But my question is why this 3 access point are not coming up is this happen's after upgrading wlc can any one please send me Step by Step WLC S/W Upgrade' process and if this this happens some time please send me any doccument related to this.

When you rebooted the controller did you do it from the Web GUI, the CLI, or did you physically reboot the controller? I believe and maybe incorrect but if your getting the ap: < prompt > that means that there is no firmware on the unit. If you have restored these to functioning autonomous unit and then re-converted them to Lightweight and it's still happening then we need to look at a debug output of what is happening when those AP's attempt to join the controller.
The capture you attached shows that it appears to join the controller and get a config, but are you saying that when it reboots again it stops working?? the other thing I would reccomend is clear out the flash memory since your capture shows the possibility that there are several copies stored there.

Oracle XE: Database does not mount automatically after Windows reboot

after rebooting a Windows 2003 Server, the Oracle Services seem to start properly, but the database is not mounted.
However the database can be mounted manually via that SQL console.
How do I achieve that the database is mounted automatically?

Node Manager not starting servicess after server reboot

We have WLS 10.1.3.5 with IDM/OAM(two domains in same server as its TEST environment) on Oracle Linux 5(64bit),when ever server reboots node manger is not starting managed servers.
I have enabled CrashRecoveryEnabled=true

Entries in nodemanager.properties looks fine, but how are you testing this functionality?
If you will stop servers monitored by nodemanager, stop nodemanager and then reboot physical server, on startup if nodemanager is configured as daemon it will start nm process but will do nothing to managed server process.
To test "CrashRecoveryEnabled=true" kill the managed server pid and then stop/kill nodemanager process. Then perform physical server reboot, now if nm is configured as daemon process server reboot will start nodemanager. Once NM is up first thing it check is the server it was monitoring earlier and if under directory $WL_HOME/servers/<server>/data/nodemanager it finds "pid" and "lck" file it checks if that pid exists and if not then go for a restart of weblogic server instance.
This has worked for me...!

My iBook's screen is not coming on after new reboot!

I just did an "erase and install" of my iBook G3 600, reloaded it with Tiger, updated it to 10.4.7, and had it working for six hours or so. Then it started freezing, locking up, and now the screen doesn't come on. I reset the PRAM already and it did nothing. Please help if you have a moment!

Does your iBook feel like a trip to sunny California? The cheapest place I know for a logic board replacement is DT & T Computer Services. They charge $195 (U.S.) plus shipping to and from Fremont, California. They do free diagnostics and offer a six-month warranty on the repair.
If it won't work with an external display, that's probably the correct diagnosis, but DT & T would know for certain.
If I could afford it, I think I would put the money you would be spending on the repair and shipping toward a new MacBook. When a computer is 5 years old, you can repair one thing, and maybe the next week something else will go wrong with it. The MacBook would get you Tiger, a way-bigger hard drive, the Intel Core Duo processor, the built-in iSight camera, USB 2. Just a tremendous upgrade. If you don't need Classic support, I'd recommend that you strongly consider it, if it is at all an option for you.

CSS Service not coming up after reboot

I installed oracle 10.2.0.2 (X86_64) on SLES 9 (x86_64) NON_RAC (single instance with ASM) and the CSS service is not coming up after reboot. If i do localconif reset then it starts up but fail after every reboot. Here is the data to debug:

I checked on metalink and found that this error can occur due to some old oracle references or changes in the uid of users but this is fresh install no oracle was there before and we didnt' change the OS user's uid also.
Please let me know what else to check or SR is the only option?

Do you mean CRS rather than CSS?
I note that your database is patched to 10.2.0.2 but your CRS is still at 10.2.0.1. Bring both to 10.2.0.3 and if that doesn't resolve the issue open an SR at metalink.
Do not install the January CPU ... it appears to have issues with RAC that we are currently investigating.

SAP is not coming up after installing Java Add-in

I have installed a Java Add-in for an existing ABAP system. At the stage of "start J2EE engine" it is throwing an error message saying that Java is not coming up after 1142 seconds. I checked config tool and it is working fine. I restarted SAP. After restarting SAP, SAP is coming up and after 1 or 2 mins the disp+work is getting stopped and all the work processes are getting died. I couldn't able to understand & resolve the issue. Tables are not coming to oracle model from sqlserver 2000 while using OMWB

Hi,
I am using oracle migration workbench to migrate SQL Server 2000 to oracle 9i. When �capture source database and create the oracle model� is run. only tablespace and users coming to Oracle model from sql server. Table are not coming. These table are owned by dbo in sql server and
All other users in the database has full privilege on this tables. Do I need to some setup to get this tables
In oracle model.

Try the following

Oracle 10G Db Starts-up After Server Reboot, BUT Goes DOWN After Some Time

Hi All,
I am really puzzled over this one. I have couple of servers running DB on them and I have used scripts to auto-enable them when server(s) reboot.
But there is one server where I see this funny behavior.
The DB comes-up after server reboot.
I can verify that in the startup logs and some more logs that I created.
I can see that LISTENER is able to communicate also.
But after a while, the DB shuts-down....!!
I have checked all the places I could. I have also tried to see the difference between this server and others (I did not install this one), but can not see any difference.
Is there anyway to find out (log) what is shutting down the DB??
Any help will be much appreciated as I am at my wits end.

Jave is not coming up after SID refresh where as ABAP is Up

Recently I completed system refresh for Solution Manager 4.0 with DB SQL Server 2005 on Duel stack and Java is not coming up after SID refresh where as ABAP is Up.
Please advise where to check as i check Disp log and Java Dispatcher is not coming up and giving error DB connection.

How did you do the refresh? What method, export with SAPINST(both ABAP and Java)?
Post the DB connection error you are getting.
Can you connect to configtool?

Txting through iMessage works fine. Pic's won't send.
I turned on and off everything and did all the necessary trouble shooting.
I'm on a Verizon 4S. and I'm sure Verizon has nothing to do with iMessage system, since it's on its on server.

The videos open right up on the phone if I do not have mirroring on and going through the Apple TV. I just downloaded the latest update to the phone it did not fix the problem. Please help. After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps concerning device issues. You may want to consider a reset, then testing to see if the issue is resolved:
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Content Not Coming Properly after converting a Smartform to PDF.

I am converting a smartform into PDF format using CONVERT_OTF .
This smart form will be triggered from the portal at the occurance of an event .After Conversion some texts are properly outputted in the PDF but some texts which are in arabic are not coming properly ( shows some junk data in a language other than Arabic).
Can any give a Solution ??

My instant messages are not being recognized after update

After I did the latest update, some of my instant message are not coming up with the person's name from my contacts, rather, just the phone number is showing up.

Try resetting the SMC and pram

Shut down the computer.

Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.

Forms are not coming up

Hello All,
In our 11.5.10.2, sometimes, Forms are not coming up with no error messages populated; Form launcher is not even launched.
Again, this is happening from time to time, with different users and different Forms.
What are the stuff that I need to check? and to troubleshoot such an issue?

Is there any error message? Your form server is up and running? Did you enable trace when you hit this error?
