Datafile of DB got deleted..!!

Question

Dear All,
Unknowingly the data file has been deleted from the file system of the Server..
It was an accident...
and now the DB is not coming up...
it shows like:
SQL> startup;
ORACLE instance started.
Total System Global Area 581523028 bytes
Fixed Size 456276 bytes
Variable Size 402653184 bytes
Database Buffers 167772160 bytes
Redo Buffers 10641408 bytes
Database mounted.
ORA-01157: cannot identify/lock data file 12 - see DBWR trace file
ORA-01110: data file 12: '/proddata/testdata/ts_test01.dbf'
How can I recover the DB back to its original state...
Please update.... This is critical for us...

I did the Offline drop of the datafile as well did the Open of the DB
It works now...

But the next steps to:
1. drop the tablespace,
2. create the tablespace
3. then import..?
I can do the drop and create tablespace, Does this tablespace name should be in the same location as well as with same name.?It doesn't have to be, but if you have a different tablespace name you have to be careful. It's been a while, so I may not recall the details correctly, but I believe it is something like, if the tablespace of the object does not exist, it will use the default tablespace of the import user. So if you are importing with SYSTEM, everything will go in the SYSTEM tablespace, which is a Bad Thing. The way to get around this is to create the object with the correct storage parameters before importing the rows. You can use parameters like SHOW and INDEXFILE to create command files to do what you want, see the Utilities manual for details.
and import means what shall I import..?The data that you've lost that was in the tablespace you dropped. Details depend on what was in the tablespace and how you exported it. Since it has test in its name, perhaps you have some other loading routine? Is the data in that tablespace specific to it, not dependent on any other tablespaces?

Please update....If you aren't in archivelog mode, you can't get the db exactly the way it was. You might consider that even with test databases, there are users, who really don't want to lose their hard work.
