By CDC are you referring to Change Data Capture?
If so, do a search on "Change Data Capture" at http://tahiti.oracle.com, where all the Oracle documentation lives, and you'll get plenty of information. The change data is exposed in a series of tables, so there's no special client-side API-- just querying the appropriate tables & views.

Where to get right tutorial document for OA Framework R12.1.1

Hi, All
I am working on OA Framework training for R12.1.1. The document of tutorial is based on jDeveloper 9i, while R12.1.1 is on version 10.1.3.3.0. It seems there are quite a lot of changes between these two versions.
Does anybody know where I can get the proper document or what resource I can reference?

Error when installing virtual appliance for r12.2.4

Hello
I have downloaded Oracle Virtual Appliance for Oracle E-Business r12.2.4 in a following step by step manner but I am running into an error. As per the readme, I have gone through the Note:1928303.1 but it does not address the issue.
That said, is there any comprehensive, step by step document that outlines installation and implementation of Oracle Virtual Appliance for r12.2.4?
Below are steps I ran.
Step 1: Downloaded and Installed Oracle Virtual Box version 4.3.22.
Step 2: I want to install Oracle EBS r12.2.4 single node installation on My Windows 8.1 64 bit laptop with 1 TB of HDD and 8GB RAM.
Step 3: Downloaded following files for single node vision appliance.
There are two zip files for each part, so I downloaded total 16 zip files.

Step 4: Unzipped these files
Step 5: After unzip, unzipped filename looked like following. So I removed the last digit in the extension so that Oracle virtual box can recognize .ova extension.
Unzipped file name:
Oracle-E-Business-Suite-12.2.4_VISION_INSTALL.ova.01
renamed to
01_Oracle-E-Business-Suite-12.2.4_VISION_INSTALL.ova
Step 6. In Oracle virtual box, attempted to import these ova files using "Import Appliance". This is when I am getting following error.

This is happening with each and every file in above list.
Please advise what am I missing? And if there is a comprehensive document somewhere that outlines details about implementation. The above mentioned metalink note is not enough.

You need to merge all of the downloaded files first, before importing into Virtualbox. Google for my blog for detailed steps.

I am going to configure oracle10g dataguard on oracle wnterprise linux 5.0 . I am trying to do this configuration
using RMAN .
After succesfully configuration of the PRIMARY End as well as I am going to configure standby end .
n the standby end I have to run the below rman script and got the syntax error :

You cannot use FROM ACTIVE DATABASE - option, If your database version is 10g .

ETRM for R12.1.2 and greated

We don't have eTRM for R12.1.2 and greater versions..what is the alternative for this? We don't even have Technical Reference Manuals for many modules of 12.1.2 and 12.1.3..
Its becoming difficult to findout the table structure and design..do we have any good solution for this?

Are you sure its VK11???? I guess for the cancellation if billing document its VF11......
Try to do the manual release to accounitng....by going to VF02 and pressing the Green Flag button after entering the cancellation document number. Or Else Try to reverse the posting with FB08.
