    Hi,
    Please check if the Clear DM package is linked with the Process chain for Clearing the Data.
    We usually get the error you are mentioning in Copy Function when we have same source and Destination members.
    Hope this helps,

  • Cloning use the different gcc version between source system and target sys

    Hi All,
    Our system is: Application tier and Database tier is split to two servers.
    We should run a cloning, but I found the different gcc version on application tier on source system and target system.
    The source application tier server is RedHat Linux ES3, gcc version is 3.2.3
    The target application tier server is RedHat Linux ES3, gcc version is 2.9.6
    There is the same gcc version on database tier on source system and target system, they are gcc 2.9.6.
    My question: Can I use the different gcc version between source system and target system when I run an erp cloning?
    Thanks & Regards
    Owen

    Not necessarily, you might get some errors if the version is higher and it is not supported by the OS. An example is Note: 392311.1 - usr/lib/gcc/i386-redhat-linux/3.4.5/libgcc_s.so: undefined reference to 'dl_iterate_phdr@GLIBC_2.2.4'
    To be on the safe side, make sure you have the same version (unless you want to give it a try).

    Hi,gurus here.
    When I saved Query, it reported an error:
    [E039(R9E)] Errors: Source 0P_RMA_CPER is not a permitted variable for target Current Year Period.
    I never used 0P_RMA_CPER in query. How to find it and make it up?
    Thanks.

    We have installed a BI 7.0 system recently and I am setting up the server to connect to SAP ERP.
    In TA SM59 a connection to the SAP ERP has been established. The “Remote Logon” is OK, (meaning clicking it nothing happens). The “Connection Test” is OK.
    According to the Best Practices paper: “B84: BI Connectivity” (B84)
    http://help.sap.com/bp_biv170/BBLibrary/documentation/B84_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_DE.doc
    I have done the following:
    In TA RSA1
    1.     Choose Modeling.
    2.     Choose Source Systems.
    3.     Select SAP in the window on the right.
    4.     Choose the Context menu (right mouse click).
    5.     Choose Create.
    6.     Make the following entries:
    Available destination: (The above tested connection)
    Background user in source system: RFCUSER (I created the user in ERP according to step 1.4 in “B84”)
    Password for source system: *****
    Background user in BI: RFCUSER (I created the user in BI according to step 1.4 in “B84”)
    Password for BI user: *****
    8.     In the dialog box Please log on as an administrator in the following screen choose Continue.
    9.     Log on to the Source System with your administrator user. Choose the correct client.
    10.     On the dialog box New Source System Connection choose Continue.
    THEN I GET THE ERROR:
    Source system already exists.
    Message no. RSAR201
    What is wrong? I cannot locate any SAP notes to help on this problem.
    Best regards,
    Carsten Pold

    Hello Carsten,
    just some guessing at this point...
    a)
    Is the connection really new? For example, was there another system connected to that ERP, maybe with the same logical name? Or was any of the two systems copied from another system?
    b)
    Authorisations issues in this process may result in strange error messages. Make sure that the admin user in step 9 really has SAP_ALL. There are a lot of complex activities that this user must be able to do (ALE management, RFC access etc.). To exclude issues with the RFCUSER users: If possible, give them SAP_ALL, too. Of course only temporarily for testing.
    c)
    I normally don't use existing RFC destinations. Usually, I let the system create those, too. So maybe it makes a difference if you remove the RFC destinations on both sides and try again. In that case, you will of course have to provide the RFC details when creating the source system connection...
    I hope this brings you forward a little...
    Regards,
    Christian!

    Try using '###CreateODBCDate(Form.DateOfBirth)###'. Access is
    strange on

  • 5200 : Error in executing  query -- Hyperion Financial Reporting

    Problem in accessing the Hyperion Financial Reports.User is having full access and able to access all the folders except one folder(Legal Folder reports). We are getting 5200: Error Executing the query error. Recently we have upgraded Hyperion to 11.1.1.3 version . Before upgrade user is not facing the problem. After Upgrade user is getting these errors while accessing the reports. we did research and found in "Error 5200: Error Executing Query" When Viewing Financial Reporting (FR) Reports". Is this error is relevant to the Information provided in Metalink and also can you please tell us is there any impact on doing the solution provided in the below. Why is this error is coming is any preferences needs to be changed.Please help us on this.
    Error Description:
    5200: Error executing query
    Servername/ApplicationName/DatabaseName/Error(1007090) Unknown Member name [Current Point of view for years] in Outline Query
    Doc ID 1107142.1:
    Possible Cause 1:
    If members have recently been added, moved, or deleted from the data source, Essbase, HFM, or Planning, the existing User POV records become out of sync.
    The User Point of View record uses indexing to identify the member. If the index changes because of changes in the outline, the User Point of View record no longer points to the correct location in the outline.
    To resolve the issue, you need to run the ManageUserPOV utility on a Windows server that has the Financial Reporting Reports Server, or in a Unix or Linux environment, has the Financial Reporting Print Server installed.
    You will need to provide a BIPlus Global Administrator user ID and password to run the utility.
    The utility will provide the correct syntax to run the command.
    1. In \Hyperion\products\biplus\bin\ManageUserPOV.properties, specify the following parameters:
    a. ReportServer
    b. DatasourceUser
    c. DatasourcePassword
    d. User
    e. Datasource (You can find the datasource in Workspace under Tools>Database Connection Manager in the Name column.)
    2. From the command line, cd to Hyerion\products\biplus\bin
    3. Type in "ManageUserPOV" without the quotes. The executable will read the parameters previously set in the ManageUserPOV.properties file.
    Thanks,
    Naresh.

  • Transporting Process Chain - error  Source system does not exist

    Hi,
    I tried to transport a local PC by itself (not including its main meta chain) since I have only done modifications in the local PC only. In the PC, there are PSA Processing, ODS Processing, ODS Activation, ABAP Program w/ variants and Infocube Rollup.
    However, I got the following transport error: Source system does not exist
    =======
    Diagnosis
    Source system  is not known.
    System Response
    The imported data for DataSource  was deleted again because the referenced source system does not exist and no mapping is defined in table RSLOGSYSMAP on an existing productive source system.
    Procedure
    Create the referenced source system in the Data Warehousing Workbench or define mapping to a known source system in table RSLOGSYSMAP.
    You get to maintenance using Tools -> Conversion of the logical system names.
    ============
    I have checked at the table RSLOGSYSMAP and all source system mappings are in order.
    And the weird thing is, upon checking the PC itself in the transport-to box, I can activate it without any error.
    FYI, we are currently upgrading to BI Accelerator. Am not sure if this could be one of the reasons.
    Any inputs and tips are highly appreciated and will be rewarded with points accordingly.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    This error is due to the fact that the
    mapping table for the after import (RSLOGSYSMAP) is not correct maintained in PB7 system.
    You need to maintain table RSLOGSYSMAP in each system
    You can find the steps to do it in the attached note 127326:
    o  Maintain table 'RSLOGSYSMAP' in the target BW with view
       'V_RSLOGSYSMAP' and enter as 'original source system' the logical name of the source system in the source BW and as 'target source system' the logical name of the source system in the target BW.
       This maintenance is required since it allows the correct source system reference of the InfoSources to be transported.
    This source system reference in turn is absolutely necessary to activate the transfer structure.
       Example:
       Source BW with source system AAA.
       Target BW with source system BBB where the source system AAA
       corresponds to the source system BBB.
       Entry in RSLOGSYSMAP in the target BW:
       Original source system: AAA, target source system: BBB.
       Give the DDIC user in the source BW in client 000 the
       authorization profile S_RS_ALL to create BW objects.
    Cheers
    Rajesh

    To avoid this error, the RetainSameConnection property should set to 'True' for the Connection Manager - Application_DB.

  • 2 Source to 1 Target Field

    Hi Experts,
    I have a requirement where I have two different messages on the source side one target message. One node in the Target structure should repeat as many times as one node from each of the source messages.
    Eg:
    <SourceMessage1>
       <DocList>
       <DocList>
    </SourceMessage1>
    <SourceMessage2>
       <DocList>
       <DocList>
    </SourceMessage2>
    Target Structure should be:
    <Target>
       <Msg1DocList>
       <Msg1DocList>
       <Msg2DocList>
       <Msg2DocList>
    </Target>
    Please provide solution to the above query.
    Thanks,
    Abhishek.

    Hi,
    I have included the two source messages on source side in Message Mapping. My only doubt was that other than "duplicating the subtree" is there any other option to do it.
    Thanks,
    Abhishek.

    This works perfectly in CF 5.  However, when running in CF 8 I am getting the error message:
    Error Executing Database Query.FUNCTION mydatabase.LEN does not exist The specific sequence of files included or processed is: /home/httpd/vhosts/somedomain.com/httpdocs/reference/systemcode.cfm, line: 24
    (that refers to the above cfquery)
    "mydatabase" is the name of the database and LEN is a function.    It's checking for the length of systemcode to be 2 or 4, if they are then check if the value of #CAT# is 1 and that the first 2 characters is between 01 and 05 then select the row.  I don't know why it works with CF5 but not CF8?  It's driving me nuts.  Any help is appreciated.

    I just don't see why
    all of a sudden it doesn't work with CF8 and MySQL,
    If you changed databases, that is the source of the problem, not upgrading CF.  MySQL will not understand MS Access specific functions and vice versa. Do not expect queries written for one database type to automatically work with another.  While there are sql standards, every database is different. It is quite common for database vendors to have totally different function names, data types and even syntax. You will need to throrougly review your database queries and convert any Access specific syntax, data types, etcetera to the MySQL equivalents.
    Are there MySQL equivalent for these two functions (TRIM and
    LEN)?
    Yes. See the string functions section in the online mySQL docs.
    http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/string-functions.html
    I don't konw there was a TRIM and LEN in MS Access
    database.  I guess I was mixing them.
    Yes. It is a little confusing because both CF and MS Access have those functions.  In this specific case you were using the Access functions, not CF.
            http://www.techonthenet.com/access/functions/index_alpha.php
    >> Yes, I did put a
    CFLOCATION inside the cfquery.  Never encounter that
    scenario so I didn't know if it works.
    Well if you are using the code, it should be something you have tested. So you know how it behaves. But CFLOCATION really does not belong inside a database query.

  • Error of modified query in VO

    Hi,
    I extended a VO by modifying its query to the following:
    SELECT * FROM (select ptv.project_number,
    ptv.project_id,
    ppp.organization_id,
    ptv.task_number,
    ptv.task_name,
    ptv.task_id
    from pjm_project_parameters ppp,
    pjm_tasks_v ptv,
    csi_item_instances cii,
    eam_org_maint_defaults eomd
    where ppp.project_id = ptv.project_id(+)
    and substr(ptv.task_number, 12, 7) = eomd.accounting_class_code
    and eomd.object_id = cii.instance_id
    and eomd.organization_id = ppp.organization_id
    and cii.instance_number = :asset_number
    The execution is fine on the first run but once a value is chosen and the user wants to modify it by clicking again on the small magnifier icon on the jsp page we get this error when we click on go we get the following error:

    It seems as oracle is trying to set a parameter that does not occur inside the query what can be done in order to solve this issue?
    Cheers,
    Carl

    I just figured something REALLY weird that might be the cause of the problem.
    If i repeatedly reproduce the error page the query changes and the parameters increment...
    here is an example
    first error: and cii.instance_number = :asset_number) QRSLT WHERE (( TASK_ID = :3 AND UPPER(TASK_NUMBER) like :4 AND (TASK_NUMBER like :5 OR TASK_NUMBER like :6 OR TASK_NUMBER like :7 OR TASK_NUMBER like :8))) ORDER BY task_number
    second error: and cii.instance_number = :asset_number) QRSLT WHERE (( TASK_ID = :4 AND UPPER(TASK_NUMBER) like :5 AND (TASK_NUMBER like :6 OR TASK_NUMBER like :7 OR TASK_NUMBER like :8 OR TASK_NUMBER like :9))) ORDER BY task_number
    third error: and cii.instance_number = :asset_number) QRSLT WHERE (( TASK_ID = :5 AND UPPER(TASK_NUMBER) like :6 AND (TASK_NUMBER like :7 OR TASK_NUMBER like :8 OR TASK_NUMBER like :9 OR TASK_NUMBER like :10))) ORDER BY task_number
    As it can observed the number of the parameter increment! why? This explains why in the first few execution it works and then the IDs of the parameters get out of sync and this is why i get an error.
    Does anyone have any idea how i can resolve this issue,
    Cheers,
    Carl
