Datasheet view no longer displays

Hello,
I recently noticed that I can no longer display the datasheet view in a document library (not linked to the library itself, I tested several).
When selecting Library/Datasheet view, it takes long to display, then the display is empty or strange. See screenshots.
Could it be linked to Nov. Microsoft updates ? Any idea ?

Design view no longer displaying included files properly or at all

Hello,
The site I need help with is a classic asp site. I am using Dreamweaver CS5.5 and am working in Windows 7 Professional.
For over a year I have been opening files directly from two separate servers (one is testing, the other is live) and the files previewed fine in design view. One day design view stopped working for asp files on both servers and I do not know what caused this. HTML files still preview fine.
On the live server, design view is not recognizing the included files at all. On the test server design view is recognizing the html from the includes but not any images or files with a "/" as the first character in the path.
The loss of design view is making my styleing very challenging. I think I need to tell dreamweaver where the root of the testing and live server are. I'm not sure is this is the solution and if it is I am not sure how to implement it. Perhaps I should try to uninstall/reinstall Dreamweaver. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Can you make some columns Read/Display Only in DataSheet view?

I noticed on another posting what appears to be a datasheet view with 3 of the columns in a display mode. Can someone confirm if this is possible?

Hi Stunpals,
This always happens on the column type Multiple Lines of Text .
And certain columns, such as Created By and Modified, are always read-only. Values for these columns are entered automatically.
When you open the list in datasheet, click on one the column, if it’s read only, you will see read only in right bottom corner.

IPad can find cellular connection settings no longer displays View Account Tab

yesterday iPad could not find cellular data connection...Settings under cellular data no longer displayed View Account tab. (Image below is from my older iPad to show what is missing on newer one with the issue.)
iPad then displayed notification that it could not connect to cellular data and said to restore iPad.
I tried to restore via cable to iTunes on home iMac. All attempts failed.
By the way I checked the AT&T Accout which is a grandfathered "unlimited" act that is current and up-to-date
Can anyone help?

I would take the SIM out and then reinsert it. Next I would restore from backup. Lastly I would restore to factory new to see if it works in that condition before you add things to the iPad.

Icons no longer display in grid view in Yosemite

All of a sudden, the icons in folders no longer display in Grid view, but only in the other kinds of view list etc.
Please, I need your help since that is the preferred method I use to display my icons

Right click the Application icon in the Dock.
Select "Grid" or "Automatic" under "View content as" from the menu that pops up.

How to join two lists and display the results in datasheet view.?

however, here the data view is only limited to 30 rows and my resultant list is huge. I would like to know if there is a possibility to view the resultant list in a data sheet view ?

I don't believe you can use the OOTB Datasheet view when joining lists. However, you should be able to increase your limit from 30 items to as many as you need (that doesn't trip the threshold set in Central Admin).

Datasheet view in SharePoint 2013

Is there a way to display the datasheet view in SharePoint 2013 like the older version i.e. MS Access Web Datasheet component? There are lot of features removed from the current datasheet view.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to display the datasheet view in SharePoint 2013 like the older version.
In SharePoint 2013 the Datasheet view was replaced with the new Quick Edit option which works now in all browsers (since it is no longer using ActiveX).
Though the new Quick Edit mode does not support all the "Excel-like" features, it has many improvements.
To use the old Datasheet view, the
KwizCom Datasheet view seems to be a solution. After using the add-on, the Datasheet view ribbon button will be located left to the Quick Edit button.

Infopath fields binding not visible in datasheet view Sharepoint 2010

Hello Everyone!!!
I have created a custom list in sharepoint then customized the infopath form in infopath form designer. I have created a drop down and bind the dropdown form the soap web service method. It is working fine when I open the form.
But when i open the DataSheet View of custom list, field is displaying but the drop down list is not getting bind with data. what is issue. Infopath binding and rule don't work with datasheet view?

As you mentioned dd data is appearing in form but not in datasheet view...
maybe there are compatibility issues
with 32 bit and 64 bit component of office and IE.
Try reinstalling "2007 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components" (link below)it installs a 32-bit version
of the Datasheet component that will work with the 64-bit version of Office 2010 as long as you are using a 32-bit version of an Internet browser.

Ios 6: Apps no longer displaying on my iPhone 4S

After downloading ios 6, I noticed that certain apps are no longer displayed on my iPhone 4S screen. I had these apps grouped under 2 different folders and the folders plus the apps were removed from my screen. I can view the apps under purchased but the only option it gives me is "open". After I open, I can access the apps, but it does not install the app back on my screen. It is frustrating because I do not get my notifications and I have to go to the app store to access my previously purchased apps. Does anyone know how I can get these apps back on my screens? HTML text no longer displays in text editor

We've been using iweb for years now and have used Dreamweaver to edit the html files with no problems. However, it seems like anything we do now no longer opens completely.
Example: Lots of text here. This is shown by viewing source in Safari.

That's all I get. Same in Text Wrangler. Text Edit doesn't show ANYTHING.
Seems to be like this for all our iweb sites. All that used to open perfectly fine in Dreamweaver.
And all our Favicons no longer display.
Running iweb 08 2.04.
Any thoughts on this?

You haven't understood what the index.html file created by iWeb does. It is very short and just redirects to the real page, in this case PencilBot.html. That's what you need to open. TextEdit is not showing anything is because you have it operating in Rich Text mode instead of the Plain Text mode required for html editing. Change the settings in TextEdit preferences to Plain Text and check the box for "ignore rich text commands in html files."

When you re-installed Photoshop, you also re-installed the version of Camera Raw which shipped with Photoshop - in other words you reverted to an older version of Camera Raw which does not support the D5100.

In Photoshop, click Help > Updates to update Camera Raw.

Is it possible to display a Dataview webpart in Datasheet view?
To be more precise,I am using Dataview webpart to display a XML file data(using XML file connection in SPD).I would like to know if i can display this data using Datasheet view from the DVWP.
Any inputs/suggestions would be highy appreciated....

Sharepoint 2013 Datasheet View Navigation performance Issues on large lists

I was recently upgraded to SharePoint 2013.
In SharePoint 2010 Datasheet View, one could scroll through and bulk select 100s of line items in Datasheet view very easily.   Navigating the datasheet view was just like navigating through a worksheet in Excel, and one could use quick select
keys like ctrl-shift-right arrow / down arrow to bulk select items.
After the upgrade to SharePoint 2013, using the "Quick Edit" tab in Datasheet view and changing the Item Limit to 5000 items, it takes an inordinately long time to load the list.   None of the quick select keys like ctrl-shift-right arrow
works anymore and the browser keeps warning about a slow-running script when attempting to select multiple items while scrolling through the list.
The functionality I need is for users to be able to bulk delete all line items in a SP list and copy (from Excel) and paste new line items into the SP list through their browser.

I am running SP Server 2013 with the Dec CU on my internal farm. This past week, I migrated 1 database containing 1 site collection (also ran the site upgrade to 2013). Prior to the migration, the users were using Datasheet View in 2010 to bulk
edit and also add attachments through the pop up window while in Datasheet View. After the migration, performance on their list using IE8 with less than 300 items was horrible for the end user and also for me as a farm admin (I'm running iE11).
I created a new view and performance seemed better for me and a slight improvement for the end user, but still not satisfying. The end user is using Chrome in the interim until I can test with IE9 to see if that makes a difference.
My main concern is the Quick Edit view. This user needs to be able to use the 2010 Datasheet View to manage attachments while in DS view. I created a new DS view on the affected list, but it still defaults back to the Quick Edit view. This
list is on 1 of 3 web apps in my internal farm. The interesting thing is that I can create a 2010 Datasheet View in a custom list on a site that was created in 2013 from scratch in another web app on my internal farm.  However, I can only do
this on 1 of 3 web apps. On my 2013 external farm, I can create a DS view in a 2013 site created from scratch in 1 of 2 web apps. Creating a list on the 2nd web app in DS view defaults the list back to Quick Edit. I checked in SharePoint
Manager thinking there was a web app feature that wasn't getting activated. There was only 1 web app feature that jumped out. Academic Library Site Safe Controls was activated on the 2 web apps I could create the 2010 Datasheet View on, but
not the other 3 web apps I could only seem to get the Quick Edit view when creating the DS view.
Is there a feature that needs to get activated or one that might need to be deactivated/reactivated?  My internal farm with the 3 web apps is running the Dec 2013 CU and the external farm w/the 2 web apps is running the March 2013
PU.
Aside from that, I've received complaints on the list performance using IE and not being able to use the 2010 datasheet functionality as noted above. I haven't received any complaints on being able to only copy 100 items in Quick Edit view at a time,
but I have also noticed that issue. In my case, the retry doesn't work and I have to delete anything over 100 items before it will save. I would like to find a resolution on this as well. Every bit of help I can get with this issue is very
much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
