Datasource 0HR_PT_3 and end of month

Hi experts
We are using datasource 0HR_PT_3 for extraction of leave data.
At the following screen you can see the change log of a standard DSO.
A change has made on 25.08.2014. This change has been stored as new image.
The new image is correct.
At the end of August, 31.08.2014, there is a before and an after image.
The before image "X" is ignored as it is a non-additive update.
In the infocube we have a record of the new image and a record of the after image which -1.
Problem:
only the new image is correct. The infocube should only report 0 also for the end of the month.
Does anyone understand the logic of this extractor?

Hi,
First check if you can simply the get required data by changing some selections in Infopackage, if that is not possible then instead of modifying existing extractor. I would suggest you to go for generic extractor if you have data available in underlying tables.

Calendar beginning and end of month

Is there a way that I can change the background of the dates that does not belong to the current month in the calendar template ?
I switched from the 1.5 calendar to the 1.6 and it works fine.
Except that I now see the last days of the previous month and the first days of the next month
exemple for April I would like to remove the 27,28,29,30 and 31 of march from the calendar :

Inventory Management: Month beginning and ending inventory levels

Hello,
I need to have beginning and end of month inventory levels. I havent been given any functional specs . The only favor I would like from you is to know what standard chars and key figs you are using in your rows and column. And how are you using the objects in the forumla Naveen A suggested in the thread [SAP Business Explorer (SAP BEx);.
Specially where he mentions formula, I would like to know what key figures does it consist of and are they restricted to the current or prior month.
Let the end inventory be the same way and the begin inventory be as end inventory - ( total receipts current month - total issues current month).

Payment terms config - end of month

Hi
We have a request to configure a payment term to be "120 days from invoice date and end of month".
Meaning that invoice should be paid at latest: invoice date+120 days and then in the end of that month.
I am not sure how to configure that in the IMG (Sales->Master data->Business partners->Billing documents->Define terms of payment).
Does anyone know that would like to help?

Please copy an existing payment terms and then select the default for baseline date first, followed by
In the payment terms section,
a) Enter only the number of days as 120
and b) as the second option, you could enter the fixed date as 31.

Skip a tape when the weekend coincides with end of month

When week 4 and end of month both align with the weekend, how can I get DPM to just use the EOM tape? I don't want to come in on holiday to change tapes. This would apply when a long weekend as well

You can change the schedule, then make a custom filter to look at future scheduled tape backup jobs and see when they are scheduled to run.
Alternately, you can use the Power shell script in this post to list all the scheduled tape jobs. It usually takes about 20 minutes after changing the schedule before the below script output is populated.

Month View:start and END times

Here is feature that i really need In the Month view: The option to have start and end times displayed. Now that their is no info drawer i have open and info drawer to see when the event is supposed to end. I have a lot of events in a day and some are for me and some are for my company and some are for my wife.
I need to see the start and end time quickly. Outlook does it.
Please make iCal do this incredibly useful view option.

Start times are still viewable.
It is a click box in the preferences that says show time in month view.
What i need is the END time as well.

AFAIK, this is not a feature of iCal.

That means an iCal invitation has been sent. Click the small envelope icon on the bottom right of the the screen to view the notification.
There is also a little one in the line of one of my calendars?
That represents the current time of day in the Day/Week view.

SSRS Bar Chart grouping date series into Months, setting scaler start and end ranges

I've been trying to solve this issue for a few days now without writing a sql script to create a "blank" for all of missing data points so that I get a bar for each month. I have date series (by day) data points grouped by two items
that creates a set of bar charts. EG: one chart per product in the tablix detail grouped to site level.
My issue is I would like the start and end of the charts to be the same for all charts and the only way I get it to work is with a chart that continues to show each date on the chart.
EG:
I have the graph start and end points set and scaling by month as I would like but each bar is a day instead of aggregating to a month level. My issue I hope to find a workaround for is if I go to Category Groups and define the grouping
to group with a year and month function the series is no longer treated as date data and I cannot control scaling. It works fine if all months have activity, but I can't figure out how to always have all charts start at "May 2012" in this example.
The only start and end point that I've been able to get to work once doing this are integer based, eg normal start would be 1 for each graph, but 1 doesn't equate to the same month from chart to chart.
I hope SSRS can provide the solution. I do know I can write a query that creates a ZERO value for each month/product/site but I don't want to leave the client with a query like that to support.

If I understand correctly, you want to display all month category label in the X-Axis. You have configure the Scalar Axis, however, it cannot display the requirement format.
In your case, if we want the specific data format, we can configure Number property to set the corresponding Category data format. Please refer to the following steps:
Right click the X-Axis, select Horizontal Axis Properties.
Click Number in the left pane. Click Date option in the Category dialog box.
Then, select Jan 2000 option.

I need to to get first date and end date of a month and year in yyyyMMdd format. I am reading month and year from a properties file. But I don't know how to get the first date and End date in given format. The properties file gives me just text. But I don't know how to get the date format using this. I need this urgently. Can anyone help me to get code for this?
I am reading the fields as,

My Requirement :
Creation Date (VBAK-ERDAT) - Select Option. By default, the program should run for the current Month ie between the starting and ending date of the current month when the program is run. Today the date is 18th using sy-datum we can bring the current date by calling it in the initialization event, but the requirement is it should not give me the current date, it should only give me the month starting date and the end date. Kindly help.

For first day..
DATA: V_DATE TYPE D.
V_DATE = SY-DATUM.
V_DATE+6(2) = '01'.

requirement is no different from what is stated in the previous thread.
To elaborate further, I'm looking for some Function Module or some relevant alternative to calculate the future date.
Future date is calculated using a start date input and No. of months.
As stated in the example in my previous thread.
For eg:

                                No. Of months : 48 months
Output from FM: Future Date     : 03-12-2012
