Datatransferservice CDTS Job DTS Job Bits Errorcode 0x801901F4

I have a new build of Server 2012 R2, SCCM 2012 R2 CU2, and SQL 2012 SP1 CU6. This same set of software works on another network. On the new network, I'm not been able to get any updates working that come through All Software Updates. 3rd Party Updates that
come through Application Management do work. On this new network, the patches appear in WSUS and the SUP. I can make Software Update Groups and Packages. I'm testing them actually deploying and installing  on clients and that doesn't work (2 WIN 7 workstations
and 2 Server 2012 servers). New folders will appear under c:\windows\ccmcache with *.tmp files under them, but the full files won't download and hence do not appear in Software Center. All the clients I'm testing with have the same pair of lines reappearing
in DataTransferService.log:
CDTSJob::HandleErrors: DTS Job '{a guid}' BITS Job '{a GUID}' under user 'a SID' Olderrorcount 111 newerrorcount 112 ErrorCode 0x801901F4
CDTSJOB::HandleErrors: DTS Job ID='{GUID}' URL=server.fqdn/pathtoDP ProtType=1
I've compared the IIS settings on the working network to this one and not yet found a difference. I've also so far found little help via google.
Any input appreciated.

No, it's not the same, but very close. For one thing, this is a different folder. Since our purpose is to share info on fixing tech problems, I thought it best to put this one up too.
As for reappearing, it didn't. The same basic problem appeared on a different folder. To find which folder is the errant one, go to IIS, click in turn on each DP site, click the browse button on the right and if it's this permission problem, it will tell
you in bright red at the top of the web page and give you the path to the problematic folder. Then just change that folder's permissions as needed.

  • SCCM 2012 R2 CU2 Clients Will Not Download Anything Using BITS, error 0x801901F4

I built a new SCCM 2012 R2 CU2 suite on Server 2012 R2. Clients will not download anything that require BITS transfers. The root of the problem seems to be in the DataTransferService.log. These lines keep appearing over and over:
CDTSJob::HandleErrors DTS Job '(a GUID)' BITS Job '(a GUID)' under user '(SID)' OldErrorCount: 11 NewErrorCount: 12 ErrorCode 0x801901F4 (of course, error counts increment)
CDTSJob:Handlerrors DTS Job = '(GUID matching one above)' URL='http://dpname and package path' ProtType=1
    Any input appreciated.

Well, I found a problem. LOCAL SERVICE was running the Distribution Points Pool in IIS and Local Service didn't have rights to c:\windows\Microsoft.Net\Framework64\V4.0.30319 on the DP server. Once it did that it cleared up some IIS problems but not this
    problem.
0x80070003 seems to mean "path not found". In DataTransferService.log the path it's trying to get to is
http://fullservername:80/sms_dp_smspkg$/abc00012. When I enter that path into a browser URL bar, it displays this info:
    date time 50449456
http://fullservername:80/sms_dp_smspkg$/abc0012.2/exe file of patch it's trying to pull.
The clients seem unable to find the path to the patches.

  • How to upload a dts 20 bit high def cd to itunes

I have a dts 20 bit high definition surround sound music cd that I would like to add to my itunes to put on my ipod but itunes only plays it as static. Any help is appreciated.

how to burn a high-quality audio cd in iTunes 9.0.2?
It is not possible to burn a high-quality audio CD in any version of iTunes.
iTunes burning is designed for quick, convenient burns directly from a playlist.
iTunes does not do the proper volume normalization or silence suppression that is required for a high-quality finished product.
If you are striving for quality, you can consider dedicated burning programs such as Toast, Nero, or Roxio.

  • Pages crashes when opening a file

I'm writing on an article with a lot of charts, and after getting tired of Grapher somehow getting buggier every time I used it, I'm now making the charts directly in Pages. They contain large amounts of data, and consequently Pages is rather slow and occasionally crashes. But the last chart seems to be more than it could handle - now Pages consistently crashes as soon as I open the file. It's a pretty important article, so naturally this is a big problem for me.
Can I somehow restore the file to a previous version without opening it in Pages? Is there any other program that can open Pages files? Any chance of just getting Pages to, you know, work? With the old XML format, it might have been possible to dig through the code and get rid of the chart, but now that's not an option either.
The first time, it said I was "out of application memory" or something; I have 50 GB free on the drive at the moment, so hopefully lack of virtual memory shouldn't be an issue.
Using an MBP from 2012, OS 10.10.1, Pages 5.5.2.

check out Ozone, its still in beta but i tested it on my N78 and seemed to do an ok job. bit slow though. i think that some of the browsers you tried didnt work so well because the 5800 is the first phone to run on S60 5th edition, therefore applications have not been optimised/not as many are available for the platform.

  • JMS and COBOL

I have an environment as follows:
    - SCO Unix Oper Server Enterprise 5.05
    - Micro Focus COBOL 4.1
    - Suprix 2.6.3
    - QMS SPOOL
and I want to communicate JMS with COBOL, but I dont know what is necessary to implement JMS in that configuration (for example, JVM, Application Server, etc)

Though i am not very sure of your software environment, i would think you need to perform certain tasks at the very minimum.
    1. you need a JDK API installed.
    2. you need some kind of a JMS provider software. market is filled with such tools like MQ Series, Fiorano etc, in fact you might want to check that the newer versions of the JDK comes with one.
    3. If you are using an app server like BEA etc.. you can get the whole JMS environment including APIs etc..along with it, may make your job bit easier...
    4. Not sure how you would call the Java based JMS APIs from your COBOL program but I believe there might be some adapters available. might want to check with the Microfocus folks.
    5. get some sample code to start testing if the whole thing works, whichever mode you want to run this by, pub-sub or a req-reply.
    6. Start cranking up your code
    Good Luck.

  • Browsers for 5800

I tested a few browsers on the 5800. What I noticed that virtually all browsers (with the exception of UCWeb) issue a non-changeable WAP user agent which make it impossible to view full sites of e.g. cnn.com, www.smh.com.au, despite the browser is able to view the full version of it. Moreover all browsers (except the builtin browser and Opera (NOT mini) 8.65) use a conversion server to convert it to light content.
    - Builtin browser:
Good and fast , but cookies do not work in local (i.e.  file:///) pages.
    - Opera Mobile 8.65:
Crashes when opening a website. Opera 9.5 should be better and has been announced for more than a year but is not available for Symbian yet (vaporware ?)
    - Opera Mini 4.2
Works mostly good , but some forms are not handled properly.
    - UCWeb 6.3 sis version :
    locks up at startup
    -UCWeb 6.3 jar version:
works OK (even with full web user agent, but only in content folding (small screen rendering) mode. Changing settings does mot work.
    - Skyfire 0.95
Locks up at startup with very small popup and very small letters and does not react to any screen click or key press.
Conclusion: most browsers don't even deserve the beta stage.
Do you have other experences ?

  • Taking apart an ornament

    Hi,
I'm trying to take some parts of an ornament off. However, when I try using the remove anchor point tool, it doesn't erase the parts I want to go away, but instead creates a black background around where they were. Please see the attached to see what I mean. The upper left ornament is the original, the bottom right one is the same thing, after I tried taking a few points off in the upper right of the ornament.
Is there a way to do this without getting that black background and removing the points cleanly?
    Or is there another alternative?
    Thanks!

Draw a coloured rectangle and put it behind your ornament so that you can see if any parts of it are compound paths. If they are, you should be able to see the coloured background through the “holes”.
    Lock the rectangle.
Now, assuming that there are no “holes”, try making the whole ornament into a compound path. If this works in one go, your problem is solved. The coloured background will show you if the compound is white or black – it might come out as either.
If this doesn’t work at all – and editing compound paths can be tricky – do the job bit by bit using Pathfinder (panel).
I expect there is a more or less contiguous black background to the ornament, so select the bit you want to go transparent along with the black area and Pathfinder > Minus Front.
Go along like this until you have the ornament as you want it.

if you mac os is not 10.8.5 and you ard using Application Loader 2.9,you should update your system,I know apple doc say:10.7 is ok,but i update my system to 10.8.5 from 10.8.4, every thing is ok, i dont konw the reason, maybe some error exist at application loader,so you can have a try, good luck.

  • Some Application downloads stuck at 100%

We have a few Applications (Adobe CS6 suite and Matlab) which seem to be stuck at 100% downloading, never moving to the installing step. I let it run overnight and it still did not finish. The applications are large (5–8 GB) with fairly deep/complex folder
structures. When looking at the temp folder in CCMCache, it does not match the sourse folder of the package, so it's unclear what is going on.
I am noticing no red flags in the CAS log. Where else should I be looking?
EDIT: Upon further inspection, I found in the DataTransferService log a host of BITS errors. Specifically error code 0x801901F7.

Our sense so far is that the complexity of the folder structure or illegally named characters is the cause of this issue. We keep seeing various BITS errors and it will hang on certain files. Sometimes it will complete.
Any other ideas? We are considering running the install directly from the share or zipping up the files, unzipping, and then executing it.

  • Erased music library Can songs be recovered

Relatively new to IPODS. Created music library with a computer that I do not have easy access to. I installed the software on computer that I do have access to and mistakenly erased all of my songs off of my IPOD mini. Can I recover those songs without access to the original computer? via the itunes website? How do I get the songs that I purchased? Is it possible to copy song files from the original computer to a disk or e-mail them to me at my current location? Do I need to send the IPOD to the old computer to download from the harddrive. Help?

See this link: Buegie, "Help! Can you undelete?" #1, 12:56pm Oct 9, 2005 CDT
Just do a bit of research before you attempt to recover the deleted songs. Sometimes it works, othertimes it may not work as well....
Edit: Emailing the files will be too large. You can have them uploaded to a fileserver if you have the availability, then download them to your new computer. Better to have them burned to a CD or DVD and forwarded to you.

if anybody have idea please share your knowledge

    Hi BIRam,
Based on the current information, the issue may be caused by the factor that the SQL Server Agent Service Account doesn’t have access to the MySQL server. Try to create a SQL Server Agent Proxy account that has sufficient permission on the MySQL server.
In addition, also pay attention to the package protection level setting.

Hi.  I have a Dell PC running Windows 7 64 bit.  I have the latest version of Adobe Reader,  It worked yesterday.  Today I have job training to do that is due tomorrow morning and I can't open PDF files.  I have to open a guide and read it and take a test tomorrow.  I have deleted and reinstalled the application.  I have rebooted.  I have made sure my PDF's are associated with the program.  Every PDF on my computer won't open and I get the same error message.  It simply says Attempt to access invalid address.  How can I fix this?  Thanks.

    Hi Don,
I have seen this issue fixed for some users by modifying the following registry key:
The key is "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" MoveImages
Set the key to 1 instead of 0 then reboot the machine.
In case you still face the issue try the following registry key change:
The only thing you have to do is rename the following key at the REGEDIT, and everything will be fine !!
    BEFORE:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\iexplore.exe
    AFTER:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\iexplore.old
Note: Please take a backup of the registry before attempting this change.
    Regards,
    Rave

  • Sql server agent job failing to connect excel connection manager of SSIS package by 32-bit mode run time

I am unable to succeed with sql agent job, I am trying to execute the SSIS package through sql agent job by ticking 32 bit runtime check box in 64 bit machine , even it does not worked..

    Hello Keerthi,
Can you please modify settings and set delay validation for Excel connection manager? I think its validating connection and failing because it might be picking that from some variable.
Alternatively, please run package using below and see what happens.
    EXEC master..xp_cmdshell 'DTEXEC.exe /SQL "Folder\Package" /SERVER Servername'
I will recommend you to follow steps in below link.

  • OfficeJet Pro L7780 - Have to Restart Print Spooler every job I print (Windows 7 32-bit)

I have an OfficeJet Pro L7780 that shows as offline in Devices and Printers constantly.  I discovered if I queue up print jobs to it and then restart the print spooler all of the jobs will come out perfectly then the printer will instantly go offline.   Here is what I've done for troubleshooting already:
    Upgrade to newest firmware (R2011NxNxeN0)
Factory Reset by hold # and 3 at boot
    Changed Ink and Print Heads
Installed newest 14.0 driver (tried both Basic and IT Pro Driver)
Rebooted and restarted printer and computer
Tried all this on a 2nd Windows 7 computer with the same results
Anyone actually use this printer on Windows 7 32-bit over the wired network port!!?!
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

Same printer, same problem, same remediation by restarting Printer Spooler service.  Only difference is OS is Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
FYI- I'm using my L7780 via a wifi connection using WPA2 security and a static IP and network RAW printing to port 9100.  The printer always appears available via network pings but not to the print spooler.  As such, printer is always "grayed out" and disabled but will accept jobs into its queue.
After endless searching this is what appears to be working as a fix:  Turn off SNMP on printer port.
Printer Properties -> Ports Tab -> (Select Port) -> Configure Port -> uncheck "SNMP Status Enabled"
Hopefully this works for others- but I also found mention that others found a fix in toggling other settings such as "Enable bidirection printing" check box.  Who knows what seemingly unrelated software triggers this issue but it began one strange day and drove me crazy.

  • Issue with 32 bit mapping while doing the job configuration.

    Hello,
From my end, facing a strange issue while execution of job in 32-bit mode.
As part of the solution implementation, do have one excel file which has to be imported to my database. For this activity, have created a package in SQL 2012 and changed the project properties to 32-bit (by setting False from the Run64bitRuntime). With this
implementation, It has worked fine without having an issue.
As we are going with the project deployment model, have deployed this package to Integration Services Catalogs. From my end, have executed the package by choosing the option to execute in 32-bit Runtime and It is also worked fine.
From my end, have configured the same package through job by mapping the package from SSIS Integration Catalog. Now, the job is getting failed as the package is not running in 64-bit mode.  Have tried to configure the package in 32-bit mode. But, I
could not be able to configure the same. I am getting the option of 32-bit run time when I am going with File System,SSIS package store not with the SSIS Catalog.
From your end, could you please help me in resolving this issue?
    SSIS Package Store--> Execution Options
    SSIS Catalog--> ????
    Regards,
    Pradeep.

But it is a job property, not the catalog:
