Date changing on photos i pad 3

Hi My daughter has sent some photos which i have put on i pad, the date on her camera must have been wrong is it possible to change it many thanks

You can only update when:
1. A Wifi-connection is active.
2. When there is enough storage on the device.
To avoid this you can easily connect the device to iTunes. Here you can update it.
When it does not work, create a backup and restore the iPad, afterwards it is automatically rebootet with latest iOS version.

  • How do I change a photo's date in iPhoto '11 9.2.3?!?

How do I change a photo's date in iPhoto '11 9.2.3?!?  I've been able to do it before through the "info" link, but don't have that option in this latest version...?  It messes up my chronological event files when people have their camera date set wrong and I can't fix it!  Thanks for any ideas you can provide.

  • I can't change the date on my photos. i click on adjust change and date and it does not give me the earliest date to change

I can't change the date on my photos in events. I click on adjust date and time of selected photos and the date that I can edit is the oldest photo date and not the earliest. Help?

iPhoto should be showing you the date of the first photo you selected.
What do you want to achieve? It should not matter, which photo you select to adjust the time, because all photos will be corrected by the same fixed increment, if you use "Adjust Date and Time".
If you want to set all photos to the same time, use "Photos > Batch Change > Set Date to" instead.

  • How do I change the date of a photo in iPhoto?

I need to change the date of when the pic was taken because it is wrong what do I need to do?

    Depends
The general answer is the batch change ==> data and time command which changes a photo or group of photos to a specific date/time with an option to add a fixed increment to the time on multiple photos
But if you have a special situation like a camera with an incorrect date/time then you use the adjust time and date command

  • Change the date on a photo?

Does anyone know how to change the date on a photo?  When someone sends me an old pic in a text and I save it, it automatically uses today's date.  Also, how do you update camera pics save on the phone taken on a camera with the wrong date and time?  It drives me nuts when the pictures taken on the same day and event don't show up together.  Thanks in advance for your help!

Listing order and dates of my photos have all changed and now it is a mess in my photo library! I tried to list them again by date, but it didn't fix the problem. What to do?

If your preferences keep getting messed up try this:   make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
         User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto.  You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.

  • Batch changing iPhoto photo dates.

I've imported several thousand scanned photos into iPhoto 7.1.3, and changed the dates to the dates they was taken either by modifying the information window, or by using batch date change. My intention was to modify the original files so that exported photos would retain the change. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not setting the "Modify original files" option in my batch changes. Is there a way to use Apple Script or some other method to do modify these files automatically?

Select the photos you want to change the originals for and go to the Photos menu ==> adjust time and date and add 1 second to them selecting the modify original file option

I scanned an old photo but the date displayed is today, I want the date to be the date the photo was taken.  How do I change the date of the photo in iPhoto 11?

There are two kinds of metadata involved when you consider jpeg or other image file.
One is the file data. This is what the Finder shows. This tells you nothing about the contents of the file, just the File itself.
The problem with File metadata is that it can easily change as the file is moved from place to place or exported, e-mailed, uploaded etc.
Photographs have also got both Exif and IPTC metadata. The date and time that your camera snapped the Photograph is recorded in the Exif metadata. Regardless if what the file date says, this is the actual time recorded by the camera.
Photo applications like iPhoto, Aperture, Lightroom, Picasa, Photoshop etc get their date and time from the Exif metadata.
When you export from iPhoto to the Finder new file is created containing your Photo (and its Exif). The File date is - quite accurately - reported as the date of Export.
However, the Photo Date doesn't change.
The problem is that the Finder doesn't work with Exif.
So, your photo has the correct date, and so does the file, but they are different things. To sort on the Photo date you'll need to use a photo app.

the information of photo like date change after close it. How can'i correct that?

Using the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Date menu option will let you change the EXIF Capture Date of the photo.
For a single photo (or to set a group of photos to the same date and time) use the Photos ➙ Adjust Date and Time ... menu option.

  • Changing all photos in event to SAME date

I have many photos in an event that have a variety of dates.  I would like to change all photos to the SAME date.  All I can figure out to do is change the first photo, but then all of the other photos are time-shifted and still have different dates.  Other than changing the date of each photo individually, what can I do?  Thanks!

Select them all and use the batch change date and time command

  • Changing meta data of a photo

Is there a way to alter the meta data of a photo taken with my digital camera and imoorted into iPhoto?
I took photos whilst in Singapore but forgot to change the time on my camera to Singapore time, GMT+8hrs. I also took some photos on my phone camera, which did have the correct time. Consequently, when I imported photos from both devices, the chronological order is messed up. I need to change the time data of the digital camera files to correct the sequence.

In iPhoto select the photos with the incorrect date/time and go to the photos menu ==> change date and time
give it the correct information for the first photo and it will automatically correct all of them to the correct date and time
You can select modify original photo if that is what you want

  • Using Aobe Photoshop Elements 6:  1.  How to download photos in the same order as on the smart card from which I downloaded them?  2.  Changing the date on each photo

    Using Adobe Photoshop Elements 6:
    1.  How can I get the 2000 photos I downloaded in the same order as on the smart card from which I downloaded them?  (This will help me label them correctly)
    2.  How can I change the date on each photo? (I want to sort by date the picture was taken, not the date it was downloaded.

You indicated that the images "seemed" to be in the right order.  It might be a good idea to rename the images on export using a custom name/sequence.  If you have done that and the images are still not in order, it's possible that your operating system browsing window is using a different sort order.  I sometimes change windows explorer to sort by file type, and then files are sometimes in what seems be a strange order.

  • IPhotos has randomly changed dates on my photos

I am very organized in iPhoto, I've been using it for years. I have 15,000 photos in my iPhoto library and since last week I have noticed that it is randomly redating my some of my photos. Last week I browsed through my library from the earliest date (2003) without modifying anything on any photos... since then it has randomly redated some of those photos. I have no idea how or why this has happened... any info anyone can give me as to why this happened or how to correct it would be greatly appreciated!! I take extreme care to organize each and every photo that I upload, this little issue is driving me crazy!
    Thanks in advance!
    Sarah

I have had a similar thing happen to me. At some point over the last year (perhaps during an upgrade?), iPhoto changed the dates of some photos in my library. The interesting thing is the pattern of the changes. iPhoto appears to have randomly selected anywhere from 1-3 photos from each of my events and then changed the dates of those photos. The dates inserted by iPhoto start in April of 2011 and advance by one day for each altered photo. For example, the altered photo from my library's first event (photos from 2001) is now dated April 4, 2011. The two altered photos from my second event (also 2001) are now dated April 5 and April 6, 2011. The one altered photo from my third event (2002) is now dated April 7, 2011. The photo altered from my sixtieth event (2007) is now dated sometime in June, 2011. I think you see the pattern. The photo(s) changed in each event seem to be randomly selected, and in some events no dates have been changed at all. It is not the end of the world (I can go through each event and correct the dates of the changed photos) but it is a big hassle as I have hundreds of events. Does anyone have an explanation as to what might have happened here?
