  • Pricing Date field disabled in VA02

    Hi  Experts,
    How to enable Pricing Date Field of line items in VA02 thru SPRO.
    Thanks:

    Check that the billing document is not created for that sales order. If it is, then the system will not allow you to change the pricing date.

  • Disable Date Fields

    I am using javascript to disable date fields, so the users are forced to use the date pickers. The field is disabled and the date picker works but when I save the record the entry in the date field disappears.

    Tried as you suggested. The filed is disabled but there is no button for the calendar.
    Changed date field to text and in post element I copied:

  • Disabled input date field

    Dear Techies,
    i am using BSP with page flow logic.
    I have a date field, my requirment is i have to mandate the usage of date field only through the calander help which is provided by the input field, it should be disabled by the keyboard entry only for dat field.
    I disabled the input field on page load by using java script, and the input field is working fine, the changed value is appearing but the changed value is not being stored in the value attribute.
    When i debug the javascript is overriding the disabled property, please help me how can this be achieved.
    Regards
    Imran.

    hye Bhavana,
      Thanks for the patience.
    My requirement is:
    i should have an input field of type date, which should not be input enabled but it should accept values from the calender help. That means user should select only date from calender, but he should not be in a position change or enter values from keyboard.
    For this i have followed this approach.
    i have my htmlb tag for input.
    <htmlb:inputField id       = "tx"
                            value    = "<%= date %>"
                            showHelp = "X"
                            type     = "date" />
    And i have javascript which will disable it at the client side. This will only disable the input from a keyboard, but when i select date from calander it appears in the input field which is as per my requirment.
    Now when i am going for any eventing, the value in the input field is initialized. This is my problem. I want the input field to retain its value.
    If i dont use the javascript and make it enabled input field, i dont have a problem in rendering the change in date.
    So please give me any solution through the approach or i dont mind any new solution.
    Hope it is clear and once again appriciate your effort in understanding.
    Awaiting your response.
    Regards
    Imran.

  • Disable data fields (Updated)

  • Date field is always disabled in qlist form

    Hi,
      We are using Qlistform(quest webpart), and observed that when I include a date time field(new form), date field's calendar popup is greyed out, But I can only change the time, but not the date.  Any resolution for this?
    Thanks,
    Poonam

    Can you try deactivating the web part in a test site collection, or one that doesn't have any work you want to make live and see if this reverts to the normal behaviour.  This way you'll be able to see if the error can be attributed to that product.
    I'd also suggest downloading
    SharePoint Manager 2010 and seeing what property that field has been set to.
    Quest also maintain a community form which you might want to consider posting into.

  • Problem with Date fields in Search panel

    Hi all,
    I use TP2 and in my jspx page I have a search panel with two date fields and table where the results is displayed. But there is a problem with these date fields, because when I search dates the results is nothing even I retype the date from table. Also I have other pages where this problem exist with same structure.
    Could somebody help me with some advice?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Frank,
    Thanks for the answer.
    I use the standart method to make search panel with drag and drop the data control to the page. The other search panel fileds work fine, only the date fileds are problem. Maybe something in view object doesn't work properly.
    Here I post the code from my page.

    Also I have a result table for the search panel, but I don't believe the problem can be there because it works fine when I search in fields different by inputDate.
    Do you have any suggestions?

  • Read-Only data fields/parameters

    Hi
    How can I make a data-field (parameter) Read-Only?
    For instance : let's say, someone (an Admin) has filled in data into a user form, and saved it. Someone else (who does not have similar Admin status) signs in, and views the form.
    I want the second person to be able to view as well as Edit the form. But, not ALL the fields. Some fields should be uneditable (i.e., read only). He can see the data in those fields. But, he is not allowed to modify them.
    How is this done?
    Thanks.

    example how this field is non-editable on condition basis, you can use your condition
    <Field>
      <Display class='Text'>
        <Property name='value' value='Solanki'/>
        <Property name='title' value='Last Name'/>
        <Property name='disabled'>
          <cond>
            <eq>
              <i>10</i>
              <i>10</i>
            </eq>
            <s>true</s>
            <s>false</s>
          </cond>
        </Property>
      </Display>
    </Field>

  • How to set a date range for date field ?

    Dear Experts,
    Scenario:
    I have a query in validating the date field in my BSP application. My application is for maintain infotype 0023 Other/Previous Employers online by employees in the company.
    As per our design we are maintaining the all employment details of the employee both ( with in the current company / previous employment outside the company) in the same infotype.
    Every employee will have a hiring date within the SAP HR system. We consider this date as the cutoff date between current and previous employment in our application. When the employee updating the details wia BSP page I need to check the following.
    Record inside current company: Validation that, the user should only able to enter BEGIN DATE (BEGDA)  greater than or equal HIRING DATE and END DATE(ENDDA) should be greater than FROM  DATE (BEGDA).
    Record outside current Company: Validation that, the user should only able to enter BEGIN DATE (BEGDA)  less than or equal HIRING DATE and END DATE (ENDDA) should be greater than FROM  DATE (BEGDA) and less than HIRING DATE.
    Technical Requirement:
    How to set a date range for date field, i.e. how we can limit the date range in a HTMLB date field? Can this it be achieved via standard functionality of HTMLB?
    Following is the code to describe date field in my application.
        <htmlb:inputField id= "ENDDA_NEW_IN"
                          type= "date"
                    doValidate= "TRUE"
                      showHelp= "TRUE"
                      disabled= "FALSE"
                         width= "183"
                         style= "cssTextAreadate"
                         value= "<%='99991231'%>"/>
    Thanks a lot in advance for your assistance and help.

    Hi,
    This functionality is known to be very important and is a key part of the next major release of the JRC planned for the first half of 2008.

  • Copy control for dates and disable the input

    Hi All,
    I have the following problem: I'm trying to copy dates in a follow-up order from the source order (which works fine by implementing the CRM_COPY_BADY method DATES) and disable the input of the copied dates in the follow-up order (which doesn't work).
    In the change-parameter CT_INPUT_FIELDS you can specify the fields which have to be copied and furthermore you can control the modifiability of the field in the follow-up order via the parameter CHANGEABLE (e.g. 'A' means field can not be changed). This technique is the same in all methods of the copy BADI.
    Unfortunately it doesn't work for the dates. As I said already, the date is copied but can be changed by the user in the follow-up order.
    Anybody an idea?
    Thanks and best regards, Lutz

    Dear John,
          Actually, I have tried with copy requirement 2.However, it works for copying a different customer with the same sales area as original. Yes, I may need to ask developer to solve my solution. But I would like to keep it to be the last choice. I tried to search "How to copy document between inter-company businees"; but the I still not get what my custome's want.  Anyways, thank you very much for sharing idea.

  • How to get a noneditable date field...

    Hi,
    The date item in HTMLDB provides a calendar alright, but the actual column is still open to the users to change the date chosen from the calendar, how do u make it a disabled field so that users cannot change the format of date chosen from the calendar just like a popup lov,displays description returns key value type....
    or do we have to set some attibute to make this field disabled...
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Naveen

    Hi Naveen,
    I'm not sure that you can lock or disable the date field, after all you want your user to enter one. But I think that you can use a validation on the item - Item specified is a valid date. Your users will get an error message each time they will try to enter invalid date, including wrong date format.
    Hope it helps,
    Arie.

  • How to prevent user from inputting in a Date field?

    Hi, everyone
    I have another small problems, for a Date field, user can choose from a date window or input from keyboard, is there any way to forbid user to input?
    I want to make the date field behave like a Drop-down list. User can just choose from list, can not input. is it possible?
    Thanks

    What is the objective of disabling date entry? Are you concerned about the date format?

  • Date Field - custom entry

    Hello,
    I'm trying to create a date field in LC which can only be selected from the drop down calendar.  I would like to disable keyboard entries both before and after the date selection.  Is anyone able to assist?
    Thanks.

    You can check the length of the strings during the change event.
    A keystroke always has the length 1 and can be filtered.
    Add this sript into the change event of your date field:
    xfa.event.change = xfa.event.change.length > 1 ? xfa.event.change : "";
    Pasting from the clipboard is still possible, but I don't think anyone ever will enter a date this way.
