Date Field doesn't show time

For some reason my Report shortens the date field to 9 characters. I am not able to change that value in the Property Pallette. Because of this shortening (or for some other reason) the field displays only the date portion of the field. However the field contains time portion as well, which I need to display. How do include the time portion?

Check the field's length and type in the data model to make sure it comes properly from the DB.If it is Date type, try selecting different format mask in the field's propertis on the layout model. If the format includes time, make sure there is enough space in the field to display it.

From field doesn't show in web mail inbox

Okay, I've searched the preferences page and the FAQs. It's driving me crazy that when I access my web mail that all I see is the 'To' field and have to guess about who the emails are from. I'd insert a screenshot if I could because in all the pictures I've found online the 'From' field shows so I Really don't understand why it doesn't show up for me. Instead of 'From' I get 'To' which is pretty useless since all of the emails in my Inbox are to me. I suspect people aren't going to believe me so let me give further description- when I first log in and click on my mail I see the flagged column, the status column, the "To" column, the "Subject" column, the "Date" column, the attachment column and the action column. This is for my Inbox. Nowhere do I see the "From" column. Pretty useless. Very frustrating.

What is a great calendar app? Currently using iPad standard app but doesn't show times

I am looking for a calendar app that links to outlook exchange on my iPad. I am using the current standard app on the iPad and it doesn't show the times. Any suggestions?

If I understand correctly you are getting the alerts from the events that you are creating on your Calendar app, but they do not show in the app once they are created. It seems to me that the calendar you are adding them to may not be checked, thereby making it hidden. To check this, first open the Calendars app and tap Calendars at the bottom:

FI12 Bank Account Reference Info field doesn't show for all house banks

We are storing some information in the Reference info. field (T012K REFZL) for bank accounts. We have several house banks defined and this field is available for edit for the accounts for those house banks. We are setting up a new house bank, but the reference field does not show up so we cannot edit its value.
I cannot find any config that allows me to define conditions that would affect the availability of that field. The only difference I can see between the new house bank, is it has a different country than the existing house banks. Existing house banks are in FR and PL, new house bank is in NL.
Any help would be appreciated.

I received one other option from outside this forum that also solves the issue.
Based on OSS Note 1009154 the below record has to be inserted into the u201CV_TFIBLSCREENu201D data view by using SM30:
SAPLFHBANKC, 3, 002, NL, 3.

Date query doesn't show results for today's date

Hello everyone. I use Jdeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 with ADF and I have a view named query with just one field, Date. The operator it is using is equal to a value written in the field. The problem is that when I insert a row into the table (the date is automatically set to the current date on insertion) and I look for today's date it returns nothing. However if I leave the field empty it will find me the row. I tried doing this with the timestamp option but it's not very user friendly as the user would have to type in the time the row was inserted in order to find it, or use the between operator for two fields which is something I want to avoid if at all possible
The requirement is one field query that lets the user choose a date from a calendar and shows all rows inserted on that date (even if the date is today and the row was inserted a few minutes before).

My guess is that the data being stored in the DB has a time component associated with it (as it would if you were using something like SYSDATE to populate it). When you are trying to look for data with today's date, you are checking just for the date - which in Oracle is the equivalent of midnight on the start of the date. The dates don't match because the time is different.
Either store the date with no time component (use TRUNC to remove the time), use a BETWEEN comparison, or TRUNC the date when comparing.

Data source doesn't show porper data while flat file data loading

Hi Experts,
I am trying to load data from flat file for info object 0GL_ACCOUNT. I have created an application component and data source.
My question is after loading text data in the corresponding data source, it shows only few characters of the actual data.
For Ex. in my original data i have G/L account name "Comp Hardware Purchase" but after loading into the data source it shows only "Comp Hardwa".
I want to show the whole name "Comp Hardware Purchase ". I know there is some text length problem but i couldn't find it. What steps i need to follow?
Please help.

HI Niranjan,
Go to your data source and check whether the field and infoobject are having the same lenght. If the infoobject lenght is less than your field lenght wihc is coming from Flat file then such issue occur.
Search for your flatfile datasource and and doubel clik on the datasource and check the fileds tabs, there you will have the mapping or you can also check your Transfer or Update rules of the target.

Blank data CD doesn't show up in finder window, but I can burn music onto..

When I load a blank CD (or CD-RW), iTunes opens. But no icon shows up, either in iTunes, in the Finder window or on the Desktop. If I select a playlist in iTunes, the Burn Disc icon appears and I can burn the disc (even thought I can't see it). Once burned, the disc DOES show up on the Desktop and all is well.
HOWEVER, I cannot move data onto a blank disc. System Profiler says the disc is loaded, but the Finder doesn't see it. I saw something somewhere about running "repair permissions," but I don't know how to do that and don't know whether it's the thing to do, anyhow.
Thoughts, anyone?

One possibility is that you have "Ignore" selected for when you insert a blank CD.
To change this go to System Preferences below the blue , then click on CDs&DVDs. From this box you are able to change the preferences for when a disc is inserted.
Changing it to "Ask what to do" will prompt a dialog box where you can choose an "action" such as open the Finder. This should allow the disc icon to be visible on the desktop when a blank disc is inserted.

Time machine restore doesn't show time machine

I am on OS X 10.7.0, time machine is backed up to a networked linux box running netatalk. It worked fine with snow leopard, at that time it was samba.
But now it backs up just fine, I have done a complete back up twice. But when I try to bring time machine up, it mounts it, but doesn't take me to the star wars screen.
I get no errors, the only error console shows is '8/2/11 4:28:06.574 PM com.apple.backupd: Could not resize backup disk image (DIHLResizeImage returned 35)'
If I mount the network drive, I can get into Backups.backupdb, but when I try to get into <computername> inside that folder, I get the folder "<computername>" can't be opened because you don't have permisions to see its contents'
The permisions are as follows

I've never seen that one. A number of Time Machine requirements were changed for Lion, so your setup may not be entirely compatible.

Spry Data Set doesn't show up

I included a Spry Data Set in my already existing HTML-File and got the problem that the Browser doesn't display it.Is there something I forgot to do after including the data set?

Mail doesn't show time, only today

hi,
i hope someone can me help here again.
we have some macs with snow leopard which have two problems in the mail application.
1. when an new email come into mail normaliy mail show me the time stamp in the overview as example: 'today 13:23'
but now i have the problem, mail shows me only today or yesterday. only if the time stamp ist complete, like '01. Mai 2012' the time shows up.
i take a screenshot of that problem.
2. the 'new message' mark isn't show. can this problem something to do with my first problem?
os ist 10.6.8 and all updates are installed.
i have already rebuild the database index

It won't show on the other devices or website if enabled as POP.
If you have it set as IMAP, open Mail account preferences and check to store messages on server in Mailbox Behaviors.

Dropdown and Date Fields does not show up properly using https

I am running my portal on NW04 SP20 and i am using NWDS SP20. When run my WD application using http://<portal host>:<port>/irj -> My WebDynpro iview. I see my all UI elements working properly. Branding changes effected in all UI elements. When i run using https://<prdportal>/irj -> my Webdynpro iview, dropdown values shows in plain text. It looks like my branding is not effected for UI elements data. I see branding changes in UI element, not UI element data. Same for date ( calendar ) box also.

IPod app on 3GS w/iOS4 repeats songs *and* doesn't show time info

3GS and iOS4. iPod will play songs, but will not advance to the next song in a playlist - just keeps repeating the song. Have to manually select the next one.
Also, the play time of a track is not showing now.

That is a problem that many iOS 5 users have experienced. Try unsyncing the songs and resyncing them. Next try restoring from backup.

"now playing" doesn't show time and song names anymore

the now playing window is blank. Stinks when i'm tryign to see what song it is. Only a picture of the album comes up. How do I get the time remaining and the actual words to tell me what is playing again?

How do i show time/date stamp at start of each clip

This may be a camera issue, not imovie, not sure. My (sony dcr-hc21) camera records but doesn't show time/date at start of each clip (my old non-digital camcorder used to show them for a few seconds). is there a way to get imovie to show these time stamps? I'm using imovie 3.0.3.

There are no stright forward - cost free way to get this to my knowledg.
- I think You can buy a plug-in for this. (Not sure)
- A quality redusing way is to copy from camera via analog cable to a
VHS-VCR then reimport to a fresh miniDV tape and using this. If You
just want some sec. with date and time You can cut between old and
new material but the quality change will be more noticable this way.
- Some people has two miniDV cameras and do an analog connection
via them. Smart.

I need to be able to run a query on a date field that retrieves specified times.
Any ideas???
