Date field error in uix

1.when i use bc4j:messageTextInput to implement the date field,the input box can't accept any char but delete.
2.when bc4j:messageDateField ,the value of the year choice is more than 194205726 in date picker window.
3.sometimes,it works well.
thanks.

Qinghua,
Does #2 go away if you change to running using Hotspot? You can change which JVM is run for Embedded OC4J from the Runner settings of project properties (choose "client").
With regard to #1, I think you might have to manually set the columns attribute. But #2 is the correct approach anyhow.
Also: Have you tried using the new ADF data binding functionality (which replaces the bc4j: UIX tags) in 10g? Information on this is available at http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev/collateral/prodtour10g.html.

  • Ejb datacontrol, query panel with timestamps / date field errors

    Hi,
    I made an ejb datacontrol on a session bean in jdev 11g ps1 and used the named criteria of this entity in the data control to create an af querypanel. This works well.
    first thing I cannot configure a date picker with time on this timestamp field (only date ).( does not matter what I configure in the entity datacontrol xml , it does not work )
    and displaying the timestamp field in a inputData ( result table ) and showing the time also does not work either.
    When I use in the query panel a between query operator on this date or timestamp field I get this error.

  • Error While using date fields in HIbernate Criteraia

    I am trying a sample applciation using Hibernate with JPA. I am using annotations to map database table with Java class.I am using org.hibernate.Criteria to form where clause. My code looks as follows:
    EntityManagerFactory emf = Persistence.createEntityManagerFactory("PERSISTANCE_UNIT");
    EntityManger em = emf.createEntityManager();
    Session session = em.getDelegate();
    Criteria criteria = session.createCriteria(MyDO.class)
    criteria.add(Restrictions.eq("myDO.date",myDO.getDate()));
    List list = criteria.list();
    I am searching the data base based on the date field (myDO is an instance of MyDO.class which contains the mapping to the data base table). While running the application first time after publishing to server, I am getting the following error. For subsequent running of the application I am not getting any error and the appliaction was running with actual results.

  • Cannot add hub-managed content type with external list lookup columns to a list -- Error:Id field is not set on the external data field

    This is a variation on the issue mentioned in this
    post
    We are using SP 2010 Content Hub to manage our content types.  On the content hub we've created a couple of exteranl lists, and then created some site columns as lookups against these lists.  We then added the columns to one of our content types
    and set it to publish.
    After the publishing job executed, I tried adding the content type (which now appears on the subscriber sites) to one of the document libraries on one of the subscriber sites.  When I did that it threw the following error:

    I checked the external  content type configuration and it did specify an "id column".  Anyone know if what I am attempting to do is possible and if so, what special configurations are required?
    Thanks

    The issue is not External Content type or external list but the look up column.
    It's not possible to publish a look up column via the Content Type Hub.
    If you need to do this then an alternate way is to use a Managed Metadata column instead, otherwise you will have to implement this via a feature.

  • Get the error "Make an entry" in the date field

    Hallo Experts,
    I have the following problem. I have a date filed with value help. In the Getter-Method, I inserted the following code to get a value help:
    CALL METHOD CL_CRM_UIU_BT_DATE_TOOLS=>GET_DATE
        EXPORTING
          IV_ATTRIBUTE_PATH   = ATTRIBUTE_PATH
          IR_BTDATE           = current

        RECEIVING
          RV_VALUE            = value
        EXCEPTIONS
          CONVERSION_ERROR    = 1
    *    others              = 2
    so far is everything is ok, I can select my date in the field. But the problem is, if I select an other button without any funktion (no event) in the same viewset I get the error message: Make an entry in field "Date". By the way, the field date is a mandantoy field.
    My intention is, that the entry of the date filed is still exist (without to save) if I push an other button to invoke an event.
    Could anyone help me?
    Best regards,
    John

    Hi,
    You are only displaying the date in getter method. To set the date in the entity it should be done using set_property.
    current->set_property( iv_attr_name = 'date field' iv_value = 'value' ).
    Check whether the date is set in setter method. If not add the above code.
    Regards,
    Arun

  • "Schema validation found non-data type errors" error when passing a string value to date field in infopath

    Hi,
    I have an infopath web brower enabled form. In the form i have a date field.
    I am passing the data from the database to that field using the C# code.
    But, as the field from database is coming as string, i am getting an error, and i am not able to assign the value.
    I get the date value from database as "3/25/2011 12:00:00 AM"
    I used the below code:
    [CODE]
    if (objInfopathFormcData.myRecievedDate != null)
      myRoot.SelectSingleNode("/my:myFields/my:field97", NamespaceManager).SetValue(objInfopathFormcData.myRecievedDate);
    [/CODE]
    I am getting the error as "Schema validation found non-data type errors".
    How to set the value for a date field in Infopath.
    Thank you

    HI,
    I fixed it:
    Below code is used to fix:
    [CODE]
    XPathNavigator xfield = null;
    DateTime dtmyRecievedDate;
    dtmyRecievedDate = Convert.ToDateTime(objInfopathFormcData.myRecievedDate);
    if (objFormcData.FcCompletionDate != null)
    xfield = myRoot.SelectSingleNode("/my:myFields/my:field97", NamespaceManager);
    DeleteNil(xfield);
    xfield.SetValue(dtmyRecievedDate.GetDateTimeFormats().GetValue(5).ToString());
    // method to delete xsi:nil
    private void DeleteNil(XPathNavigator nav1)
    if (nav1.MoveToAttribute("nil", "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"))

    I went back and looked at some of my old *.ctl files and I did something simlilar to what you mentioned and it worked for me, but I had surrounded the option in double-quotes and included a colon in front of the item. Example:
    TECHNOLOGY_ID,
    ENVIRONMENT_ID,
    USAGE_TIMESTAMP "to_date(:USAGE_TIMESTAMP,'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS')",
    AVG_CPU_PCT,
    AVG_MEMORY_MB,
    ....

    Thoughts and suggestions?

    I have a Support Request open with Oracle right now (it's taking a few weeks to resolve) but here's the update:
    OBIEE 10g handles DATE types differently than 11g. Both the support rep and I can't figure out how, but they are different. If you bring the column in as a DATETIME in your Physical Layer you can't save it system-wide, even if you do set a time zone for your account (My Account -> Preferences -> Time Zone). If you bring the column in as DATE you can save it system-wide but you can't display the hours/mins/secs, only the M/D/Y. This has been tested on a 9i and 10g database and produced the same thing on both. The problem never occurred with those same columns using OBIEE 10g.
    Oracle support has not fully admitted this as a bug, but the rep working on this SR said this will probably be fixed in the next release- 11.1.1.4, which is due out late Jan/early Feb of this year. He is trying to reproduce this so he can log it as a bug (which we all are hoping for!) so Oracle can address it.
    For now, I've found that you are stuck with two options: 1) bring the column in as a DATE, display it system-wide as a saved format, but you can't show the time, and 2) don't save that date value with a system-wide formatting and set it manually on every report you need a custom format (don't forget to set your time zone).
    If I hear anything more back from Oracle support I'll update this thread.
    Sorry guys, looks like we're all stranded on this one...

  • Error while updating Date Field on Process Form.

    Hi,
    I am using java code to pre-pop date on the process form.First I used a java code whic took java.sql.date as input and returned the same java.sql.date.But it gave an error that:java.lang.String cannot be converted to java.sql.date.......
    So I changed the java code and now it takes string as input and returns java.sql.date. This code works fine for Pre-pop adapter and the date is populated on the process form.
    But when i use the same code in a Process Task adapter to update the date, then it gives the following error:
    ERROR [ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '0' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)' XELLERATE.ADAPTERS - Class/Method: tcAdpEvent/updateDataSetValuePost encounter some problems: Adapter Execution Error: updateDataObjFieldValuePost: error updating UD_OID_USR_DATE_OF_BIRTH
    ERROR [ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '0' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)' XELLERATE.ADAPTERS - Class/Method: tcAdpEvent/updateDataSetValuePost encounter some problems: {1}
    Can anyone suggest any method to update date field on process form?

    Hi Abhi,
    Can you tell me how you have implemented populating an UDF based on Prepopulation of another UDF. I have a similar kind of requirement. It would be great if you share your code or relevant part of it.

  • Strange error in online Adobe form for the date field

    Hi Experts,
    I am facing strange problem with online Adobe forms. I could able to save data when i click save button on the form.
    But some times in the form the date field is throwing error message 'MMDDYYYY field is invalid' when i click on save button.
    Is this the problem with versions of Adobe liveCycle designer, Adobe reader or GUI?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ram

    Hi
    Check the format (in the object pallete) of the date field in Adobe liveCycle Designer, If it is not set already set it according to your requirement. then see if it works
    Hope this helps

  • Error when using LOV on date-field (qms0012F)

    We are using QMS0012F.fmb (Headstart Template Package 6.5) to
    launch all our reports. However, when a date-parameter is
    defined as the last field in this form and when you select a
    date using the LOV (windows-calendar), an error appears: 'FRM-
    41051, you cannot create records here'. Therefore, when
    possible, we defined the date-parameters as the first one in
    row. In a couple of reports this is practically not possible,
    simply because the date-field is the only one which has to be
    filled. Is there a property to adjust or another solution to
    solve this?
    By the way: happy new year!

    The Designer library ofgcall65 contains a package calendar, which contains a procedure close_calendar.
    This procedure does a NEXT_ITEM (to implement an AUTO_SKIP) as its last action.
    You will need to correct the problem with a customization to that library.

  • Error  in mapping data fields using BODS Designer

    HI All
    I am trying to map the data from excel sheet to SAP ECC 5.0 using Business Objects data services Designer .
    However after mapping the data Fields when i try to do the Validation It is giving me the error message :

    Hello,
    Please check your "From" tab whether it is having the input table name is there or not. also check the mapping tab it should gives you "Schema.field"  format.
    Kindly revert with your findings.
