Date Field Input Box in data table does not provide date picker???
hello everybody,
In my JSF page i have a data table in which i have a input text field of date type. my problem is for the input box date picker is not available. though i can have date picker for a date filed outside the datatable. another problem is for the date filed validation in the browser is not available too. so how can i get the helper calender and browser validation? plz help. ASAP

In Sol Man Setup , Managed System Configuration, in phase 6 - Create Logical Componets -
There is no Product Version and Product Instance Available.
The message is : " The table does not contain any data "
How can correct this problem ?

while creating new Logical Component via SMSY , you need to specify Product first.
e.g. if you managed system is ERP 6.0 , select Product as SAP ERP
once you select Product , it automatically fetches information for product Version and Main Instance depending upon Product field input.

Server Socket does not read data input stream
Hi all,
I am very newbie to Java Network programming with sockets and multi-threading.
But I am obliged to develop a chat system written in Applets which can be placed on the website and used by visitors who come to my website.
In order to understand this, I have tested a basic web chat program I downloaded from the Internet which use sockets and multi-threadings. The program work fine, no bugs at all at both compilation and run time. I noticed that all three streams for Client side (i.e. first one is input stream used receiving data from User; the second one is socket input stream used for receiving data from Server socket, and the third is socket output stream used for writing data to server socket) were established. And the same, two socket streams (input & output) for Server side were also connected when running program giving right port number and IP address of the server.
The problem is both server and client sockets do not read data using the following stream classes:
1. DataStreamInput: I use input.readUTF() method
2. or BufferedReader: I use input.readLine() method
The example of the codes are below:

Note: I also try to use original codes which use readUTF() method in DataStreamInput class instead using readLine() in BufferedReader. Both methods dont read data from inputstream socket?

Yes. The readLine() method hangs! After the test, the execuation of the program is stopped at the line of readLine() method; it does not pass it?
There is no problem with writing to Server socket. After the test, the program pass through flush() method. Here is the code for writing to sever socket within ChatClient (client side socket) class:

Date field is missing in the Table maintainance generator

A table is created. A date field is there in that table. I tried to create a table maintainance generator for this table using 2 screens. Table maintainance generator is created. But when I go to SM30 , I am unable to see this <b>DATE</b> field in the SM30 , in the first screen. But when I go to maintainance screen , I am able to see this field. This particularly happening with date field.

Row action event on data table does not occur (only refreshes the page) when the rows in the data table are added dynamically at run time using button click and java bean.

1)If the datasource is extracting data from any table.................open the datasource using RSO2..........there u will get the table name......
2) If the datasource is extracting data from any view.............go to RSA2..........copy the view name..........go to SE11 >> give the view name >> and check..........
3) If Datasource is Function module based............then u hav to check in RSA2 >> give the datasource name >> execute >> there u will find the Extract structure name......Copy the Extract Structure name >> Go to SE11 >> in the Data Element field give the Extract structure name >> Display >> From the Entry Help/Check tab u can get the Table name............
If u double click on the Extractor..............u will get the Function Module..............from there also u can check that the FM extracting data from which tables............
For Other datasources also...........u can get the structure name from here........
4) If the Datasources r LO datasources............then u can get the table name in LBWE.............LO extractor - goto transaction LBWE.................... Select the maintenance link for your datasource............
here in the right hand pane.........in the drop down box, you can see the structures associated with this extractor ........ just remove the MC for the structure names to get the base table names. e.g. EKKO for MCEKKO.
5) There is a pattern for the Extract structure name for LO datasources.............for an example..........
DataSource 2LIS_11_VAITM ......Extract structure name is MC11VA0ITM
2LIS_11_VAHDR >> MC11VA0HDR

Viewset does not have data passed from GenIL
Hi All,
We have a custom component in which data is not getting passed from a ViewSet to the Overview page. The details of the issue are given below:
There is a detail view zsoEF and a table view zsoChild. These 2 views are housed in a viewset zsoVS. This view set has an event Eh_OnBack which requires the data from views zsoEF and zsoChild to be passed to overview view zsoOV.
We recently upgraded to CRM 7.0. After the upgrade, the values entered on the views zsoEF and zsoChild are processed in the ZGenIL. The context nodes and the custom controllers are filled correctly with the screen values and some auto added data based on validations..
When we click on the Back button, then Eh_OnBack does not have data in the Custom Controller. I am not able to pin point the reason for this missing data in the Back event. From the way i understand, when we do data binding in the views, we don't have to do that in ViewSet. Has there been any change in this design in CRM 7.0?
I would like to know if there is any workaround for this issue.

Did you try to bind the context nodes with the component controller. Can give it a try whether it resolves the problem. Any way it is difficult to say anything as we don't have an idea what exactly you did in the component. Lets take it forward. In the mean time have a look in the below link.

Failed to read data from report file Reason: The table could not be found.
BO Enterprise XI R2, cannot publish crystal reports using the publishing wizard.

RegardsConnection used Views, ODBC System DSN is setup properly.
Approach for import from business view manager and import wizard. both methods failed to import the Business View and underlying reports.
I figure I may have imported the Business View wrong? From Business View Manager I exported from my dev server then imported to prod server.
Apparently I learned exporting my business view also includes the Data Connections that the Business Views are dependent upon.
So which ever folder you specify it copies it there. Originally the all Data Connections Resides on the root folder. To return it to the original location. I deleted what I had exported. Exported this time to the root folder, then only deleted the business views, foundation, elements. Then exported again to the folder where I intended then only deleted the Data Connection.
Makes any sense? So I then had to re point the business views and all the dependent objects to the data connection that resides in the root folder.
I tested the connection, it works fine. I properly updated my crystal reports to the business view in production. Did a sample extract it works as expected.
However when i try to publish, either from Crystal or Publish wizard i get the same error?
As a work around i am thinking, after updating the business view in the crystal reports, shall i re map the fields?? or reexport the business views again?
Any help will be surely appreciated. -
0EC_PCA_3 does not return data in RSA3 if the target system is entered

Datasource 0EC_PCA_3 is not transferring data to the BW 7.0 system. In the ECC 6.0 system datasource 0EC_PCA_3 does not return data in RSA3 if the target system (BWDCLNT100) is entered in the selection fields. When omitting the target system all expected data is returned.
Datasource 0EC_PCA_1 works fine for the same target system.
There is one thread dealing with the same problem but the person does not provide the solution he found.
Does anyone know what the issue is?

József.The problem was solved by removing the datasource in both BW and R/3 and activating everything from scratch again. We didn't find out what was the cause of the problem, but at least it is working now.

JDev 11.2.1 Commit button does not save data
I am using JDeveloper 11.1.2. I am having trouble saving updates to the database. I am trying to create an application that displays database records in a form, allows the user to modify data in the form and them saves that data to the database. I have successfully created the database, entity objects, view objects and application module. I created the form on the page by dragging the data control on to the page. I used the same method to create a table from the same data control. I included a submit button on the form. I dragged the create, delete and commit buttons onto the form. This application gets the data from the database, the user modifies it, select the submit button. This displays the change in the table. I can do the same with create and delete. However, I use the commit button to write the data to the database but it never happens. I have set up logging with –Djbo.debugoutput=console. I can see that the delete button {#bindings.Commit1.execute} is doing something but no change is made to the database.
Thanks for your help, SteveI have had some success. I tested with the BC browser in my application and got the same results, no update. So I created a new application. I used the 'Create Business Components from Tables' option to create a set of Entity objects, Entity View objects, and Query View objects. The interesting thing I found was that when running the BC browser and trying to update the database using an Entity View object I had success. Was able to add and modify records and results saved in db. However, when I use the browser and try to do the same thing using a Query View object I get the behavior I've been seeing all along, it looks like it is working but not data saved to the database. In order to make the Query View object updatable in the browser I had to make all of its attributes updatable 'Always'. this made the view look updatable in the browser but no save. In my real application I did not have any Entity View objects. the Query View objects look the same so I didn't create any Entity View objects. So I want back to my real application, removed all Entity objects and Query View objects, recreated them with the 'Create Business Components from Tables' option. I created Entity View objects this time. When I drat a data control based on an Entity View onto my page I can make updates and the commit works.
I'd like to understand the difference between the Entity View objects and the Query View objects. Once they have been created I have a hard time telling them apart. The Entity View object for the Employee looks very much like the Query View object for Employee. There are some flags set differently and the Entity View object 'Entity Objects' tab shows the Employee table selected. I can tweek the Query View to look like the Entity View but it still does not behave the same, the commit does not save data.

I tried wat you asked to, but no spool was generated for the job. In SM37 it says that the Job (RMCB0300) is completed, but theres no spool list entry.
Does it mean i cant run MC.9 in background.

CFGRID does not show data (CF9.0)
Under development server, CFGRID show data , all is fine , correct. (CF9.0 version dev)
Under production server , CFGRID does not show data, only a grey line (like a HR).
How to debug this ?

I am using the IMAQ Match Pattern 4 to detect the rotation angle of a template image. However, it shows the error: "Error 1074395241: The template descriptor does not contain data required for rotation-invariant matching." What is the problem exactly? How to solve this? The details are explained below.
My project is a little bit complicated. Part of the block diagram containing the IMAQ Match Pattern 4 is shown below:
The source image is a series of frames of images read from an AVI video (I used a for loop to process the images frame by frame). The template image is a selected region of the first frame. So it means, the user selected the object of ineterst in the first frame of the video, and in each of the following frames, we need to find the matched object of interest & determine its rotation angle. When I run the block diagram shown above, it does not have any error. However, it shows the rotation angle as zero no matter what it "really" is. Therefore, I changed the block diagram by adding the parameters, shown below:
But in this case, when I run it, it shows the error that I have indicated in the subject line.

We are receiving the following error everytime we logon our pc for the first time: Add-On Outlook_Integration: This Add-on cannot be upgraded. AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo file does not match data in the common database for this add-on. See SAP Note 1323680 for more information.
A few months ago, SBO Server was moved from one server to a new virtual server, but we had no problems with the addons. The other day, we upgraded from SBO 2007 to 8.8 and now we are having problems with the Outlook Integration.
I have followed the directions in the message noted above, and did find the AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo file in some odd places, with a reference to the old server. I cleaned this up, on the server and the client and I can get it running...however, after the user shuts down the pc and logs back in the next day, the problem is back.
In the process of cleaning this up (un-registering the addon and removing the addon references in the local .sbo file) I noticed at times that we would still receive this error, when there really shouldn't be an reference to it.

I guess you need a re installation of Outlook Integration Addon.
Whatever version addon of OI you installed just uninstall it and Install it freshly from 8.8 setup package......
