Date format in log/error messages with Server Event Log

Hi :)
I have some question.
Current Date is printed at tterrors/ttmesg log files to add with "-showdate" option at $TIMESTEN_HOME/info/ttendaemon.options file.
But date when the TimesTen Server Event Log output is not displayed.
How to solve these case?

This is an issue that was discussed internally very recently. BUG 9719650 - -SHOWDATE OPTION NOT ENABLED FOR SRV MESSAGES has been logged to track the issue.

    HI and welcome to Discussions,
    in my personal opinion there is not much for you to worry about.
    The 'Windows Tool for the elimination of malware' is nothing you miss as long as you have a decent Anti-Virus Software running.
    The update for the IE 7 might be missing an installed IE 7, which can do by downloading it yourself from Microsofts webpage.
    If you don't use the IE but something like Firefox or Opera or Safari, than don't bother with these update.

  • Date format in log/error messages

    Hi there,
    Is there a way to change the date format in log/error messages in ttmesg.log & tterror.log files ?
    In my log files, only the hour is specified but I wish I could get the day each single line has been logged.
    Thanks in advance.
    PS : I'm running TimesTen release 7.0.3 on a RedHat ES release 4

    Yes, you just need to add the option -showdate into the ttendaemon.options file.

    My iCal has frozen after I tried to paste info from an email into a reminder.  I get a "server reports an error" message with what I tried to paste in the box.  Calendar is frozen and will only close by forcing it.  Any help?

    Did another window open with the pasted information?  If so, try hitting "enter/return" key and "delete" key at the same time.  That should get rid of the current action on the ical, the extra window should go bye-bye, and all should be fine with the world.

    I keep receiving a server error message with the new beta version of iMessage.  What can I do to fix this?

    Ok I have a question.
    Why do you want to use Beta software? Especially since you are having this problem with it?
    Uninstall it and forget about it until it is released as a real piece of software.

  • My iCal won't go online and returns the error message: The server responded with "500" to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation.

    My iCal won't go online and returns the error message: "The server responded with “500” to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation."

    OK Now I can answer my own question.  The incomprehensible (inexcusably geeky) error message is actually Apple language for saying simply: "The iCloud servers are down again.  Please wait until we've fixed them."  I found this out by talking to Apple support.  It took about 12 hours for the iCloud server synching calendars to come back online.  When they did, my calendar reloaded, and everything was fine.

  • Bad date format in generated client API (weblogic server Workshop)

    Hello,
    i'm making web service client from oracle weblogic workshop.
    I have used "clientgen" Ant task to generate the client library.
    The WSDL indicates that certain fields are of type xsd:date.
         <xs:complexType name="declarationType">
              <xs:sequence>
                   <xs:element ref="directive"/>
                   <xs:element ref="deadline"/>
                   <xs:element ref="complete"/>
                   <xs:element ref="transposition"/>
                   <xs:element ref="comment"/>
              </xs:sequence>
         </xs:complexType>
         <xs:element name="deadline" type="xs:date">
              <xs:annotation>
                   <xs:documentation>Deadline (date) for executing this directive.</xs:documentation>
              </xs:annotation>
         </xs:element>
    So in the API generated, i've a function generated to set the deadline with java.util.Calendar as parameter.
    If i construct my message and pass 2010-07-06 to the function that initialise the deadline date(in yyyy-mm-dd)
    The web service client sends "2010-07-06+02:00". (because i'm locate in Bruxelles in Belgium)
    However, the server expects "2010-07-06". (yyyy-mm-dd)
    So how can I do to pass it correctly?
    i've tried in a message handler, but i've to sign the body of the message.
    So when i modify the body in the handler to format the date, i receive an error from the server because the signature isn't valid.
    How can i change the format of the date passe, before signing of the body.
    thanks in advance.

    By "client's principle", do you mean the identity of the user who got logged
    in? You should be able to call HttpServletRequest.getUserPrincipal() or in
    EJB land SessionContext.getCallerPrincipal(). Also, if this is the identity
    you are interested in you just be able to call the EJB and then use
    getCallerPrincipal() as the identity should be propogated across the wire.

    I'm posting this at the risk of sounding as if I didn't read thedocumentation
    before hand. (Which I've only glanced through to be honest.)
    I want to be able to retrieve the SSL information, particularly theclient's principle
    in order to pass it to an EJB to retrieve user specific information.
    Is this possible? If how, what are the steps in general?
    In Workshop, in the JWS file, which api's do I call?
    Thanks in advance,

  • 'Cannot obtain error message from server' when trying to use ODBC

    Post Author: Grant C
    CA Forum: Data Connectivity and SQL
    Hi, I'm developing some reports using Crystal XI on my local PC, using an Oracle 10i back end on a separate server.  The SQL for the report is in a method in an oracle package.
    When I set the datasource location, selecting 'Oracle Server' then entering the details works fine, and the report runs.  However, when I try to use an ODBC connection I get the following error:
    Database Connection Error: 'Cannot obtain error message from server.'
    The ODBC link is set up as a System DSN, which works fine when I test it.  I think I need to use ODBC as some of the reports (which I inherited) seem to fail when run on the Crystal Server, and it seeme to be the ones set up with ODBC which work.
    Any thoughts?  Thanks.

    Hi Mars-
    It sounds like your NI-DAQ installation may have become corrupted. I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the DAQmx 7.4 driver to correct this problem and ensure that you're up to date. This download is available here: NI-DAQ 7.4
    If the problem persists you may want to uninstall and reinstall LabVIEW and then NI-DAQ in that order. The error message will usually give an indication as to which VI the error occurred in. Please let us know which VI is failing if you're unable to avoid the error with these suggestions.
    Have a good day-

    Try going completely through the install from the cd, when it says to plug in a ipod, there is a checkbox to go around that.
    When it finishes go to Start -> All Programs -> Ipod -> iPod Updater. Run that program and don't plug the ipod in till it prompts you, you might have to click okay on a window. It should detect the ipod, and you want to click the RESTORE button.

  • Error Communicating with server

    I've completed 4 projects and all went perfect without a hitch.  On starting a new project, I created 3 new bins, audio, stills, video.  When I clicked on capture, I get "error communicating with server. If this continues, contact adobe tech support."  I can't figure out why I'm getting this message now.  I haven't changed settings, using the same HD camcorder, etc.
    Any suggestions?

    Fast response ~ thanks.  I'm using the same camcorder I used on all previous projects: SonyHandycam, so I know it's not the camcorder  I've had no problem capturing in the past.
    The project settings: General>Action Safe & Title Areas are default settings; 20 and 10:  Video display format: Timecode:  Audio display format: audio samples:  Capture Format: DV. In the Sequence settings, they have to be factory default cause I've never changed any setting there.
    Actually I'm really stumped cause I just finished my Grandson's graduation video on July 10 and Premier and Encore worked beautifully.  Now, trying to do a family reunion video, I started new project, didn't change any settings, and when I clicked on Capture, it said "Capture Device Offline".  I went back and replugged in the camcorder, and still nothing.  Closed program, thought about it for awhile, then when I reopen, I get the "error communicating" in the resource panel.
    I doubt this will help you but I'm hoping......

    Hello,

    This began after I restarted the server after it apparantly crashed last night. Otherwise, there were no changes to the system.

    +The complaint that it wasn’t delivering mail due to an inability to connect to the local host suggested some sort of mail filter not running, of which there are two on Mac OS X Server: clamav (used for virus scanning) and amavisd (used for spam filtering). In my case it was easy to narrow it down, since clamav wasn’t enabled. I checked amavis.log and found that it hadn’t been updated since I’d restarted, so it seemed clear it wasn’t launching. By looking in system.log I could see launchd was trying to start it repeatedly since it was enabled in Server Admin, but it kept failing:+
    +Feb 5 23:59:36 hq org.amavis.amavisd[5404]: Can't send SIG 0 to process [68]: Operation not permitted at /usr/bin/amavisd line 11203.+
    +Feb 5 23:59:36 hq com.apple.launchd[1] (org.amavis.amavisd[5404]): Exited with exit code: 1+
    +Feb 5 23:59:36 hq com.apple.launchd[1] (org.amavis.amavisd): Throttling respawn: Will start in 10 seconds+
    +It was trying to kill process 68, which in my case was kadmind. This didn’t make sense since kadmind deals with Kerberos, something spam filtering has nothing to do with. Fortunately amavisd is a Perl script and it was giving me the line number, so I was able to open it and hunt down the offending code. I found that when amavisd starts, it looks to see if there’s already a PID file (located at /var/amavis/amavisd.pid), gets the PID out of that file and then tries to kill said PID. So, if another copy of amavisd is already running when you start it, it kills the old one so that they don’t conflict. Problem is, in my case the PID file was stale: it hadn’t been cleaned up after amavisd’s last run since I’d had to force off the system, and now the PID was in use by another, unrelated process that it doesn’t have permission to kill.+
    +amavisd does check to see if the PID file was created before the last system startup, which would allow it to ignore stale PID files, but it only does this after trying to kill the old process. This bug was fixed in December in version 2.6.2 of amavis, but unfortunately for Mac OS X Server users, Apple uses version 2.5.1 from May of 2007.+
    +Removing the stale PID file resolved the issue. Its removal allowed launchd’s next automatic attempt to start amavisd to succeed, then a few minutes later Postfix’s mail queue manager started being able to deliver all the mail queued during the downtime to the appropriate mailboxes.+
