Date in german version

hello,
i want to create a form letter with the actual date.
how can i get the actual date in a german version ?
e.g. 24. April 20002
i just get english versions of date.

To get the date in German format all u have to do is to set
NLS_LANGUAGE German
example
select sysdate from dual;
result
23-MDR-87

Adobe Reader XI did not save the form data (unlike previous versions). Any way to recover filled form with data from temp locations?
I was not aware that ctrl+s no longer works in reader and closed the PDF after savign it(with ctrl+s). However ,the data is lost and there seems to be no way to recover it.
I cannot find any temp files created by Reader on my system.
Also to my surprize(and shock), the reader did not even show a warning before closing the PDF. Does anybody know if/where can I recover the file from?

Are you using Adobe Reader XI? And not Acrobat. It does not ask me to save the form if there are unsaved changes.
I have used previous versions of reader for saving this form data and it did allow me to save it with ctrl+s. And those versions did prompt me to save the changes before closing.
I guess I should not have updated the reader.

Which driver to use for Satellite A300 - Latest one, by date or by version?

For my laptop (A300-1HV) I am looking at the driver downloads available.
There are many drivers which have a LATER modified date but LOWER version number.
Or if you like, an EARLIER modified date and HIGHER version number.
How do I decide which is the most up-to-date driver?

You can install your own operating system without problems. As you can see all necessary drivers, tools and utilities you can find on Toshiba support page.
To be honest I do not understand what confuses you so much. Usually there is one driver for each hardware component and just one version for each tool or utility.
If you have question about some specific driver or tool please let us know and we can try to help you.
Please install all stuff following installations order. If you cannot find it let us know.

Can I switch a German version of CS4 to English?

I have legally installed a German version of CS4 Standard at my university (there was no option to install any other language) but would prefer to use it in my native tongue, English. Is there a way to download an English version and use the same serial number? Or is there a way to run a converter of some kind, to unlock some hidden files?

I'm pretty sure you are stuck with German, if I'm wrong someone will stop by and point that out.

Does anyone know if a German version of Leopard will work on US purchased Mac Book?
Well, I guess my question more specifically is if I install the German version will it only be available in German language to use. I know that you can change the language of your mac regardless where you buy it, so if I install a German version of Leopard theoretically I should be able to use it, but convert the language to English in the system preferences.... Is this correct?

There is no "German Version" of Leopard (except possibly for packaging). OS X is exactly the same no matter where it is sold. You can always change its language among the 18 listed in its tech specs in a few seconds via system preferences/international/languages.

There is no "Great Britain" in the German version of icloud.

Hi, I use the German version of icloud. In the address section there is no chance to choose "Great Britain". I cannot type it either. What went wrong?

That's great! But hopefully it is still afloat as my son lives there.
And no: There is no England, Wales or even Scotland at hand. The map seems to be totally blank in this area. And guess what: As I tried Great Britain: the next available country in this list was chosen. It is Malaysia.

English language Plug in for PS CS5, with a German version of Photoshop

Hello everybody!
I bought a software 'plug in' in English language(German was not available), for a German version of PS CS5 and the first time(I did that many times) it's not working! I also tried to solve this problem with the support of the software company, without success. Of course I don't want to buy a new full PS version, to make this work. Any ideas, what I could do? Thanks!

How can you be sure that the language version is the cause of the trouble? Please provide more information, e.g. operating system, Photoshop version (do you have all the updates?), error messages, description of problem, name of plug-in, etc.

I need a install media for German Windows 7, but I only have a copy of the English version. I have successfully integrated German into the WIM file image, and install setup prompts for German, after installation, for example, home premium, the only language
avaiable is german, but does this make it real german version that can be activated in Germany? (English is automatically removed by Task scheduler in Windows setup after installation) Can a product key from Germany activate this image I make?

There is only one version of iTunes. Relaoding will simply load the same iTunes.
In iTunes, select the iTunes store on the right.
Scroll to the very bottom right.
Click the ball icon that has a flag and select the iTunes country you want.

Is it possible to update the english trial version of LR to a full version with the serial number of a boxed german version of LR?

just called adobe. it wont be possible. They told me to wait till the German Version is available... Then unistall the Trial and install the German Version.

I purchased the English version of Adobe photoshop Elements 10 Editor few months ago. Evertyhing's going well. But one day suddenly changed into German version when I opened it. Now I just want to exchange for English(the version I've purchased.)

SEM:BCS - Copying Consolidated data from one version to another

Hi,
We have a situation where we do Consolidation of Forecast data. However this involves mixing Actuals data. For eg.
1) Q3 forecast would contain Q1 and Q2 as Actuals and Q3 and Q4 as Forecast
2) System has already done the consolidation for Q1 and Q2 lets say in version 0
3) Forecast is a different version eg. F1.
4) I want to be able to copy the Consolidated data of Q1 and Q2 from version 0 to version F1. Then load the data for Q3 and Q4 for forecast and perform consolidations for Q3 and Q4.
What I have seen in the system is -
a) You can copy only the non-consolidated data from one version to another and not for eg. Elimination entries etc.
b) This means that I have to perform consolidations in version F1 for quarters Q1 and Q2 again even though its already been done in the Actuals version (0).
c) Is there any way out of this. There is always the possibility that the consolidated data in Q1 and Q2 does not match between Actuals (version 0) and Forecast (F1)

We had the same issue. In your solution you'll have to delete old (Q1 and Q2) forecast data and replace them by actuals. It's too problematic.
And you are absolutely right about possible inconsistency between actual and forecast data.
So, we've chosen another way.
We make separate consolidation in actual, budget, plan and forecast versions.
In plan and forecast we everything that is possible do periodically (including currency translation) -- to avoid the possible influence of historical data.
In a BEx query (and Excel workbook) level we retrive: N months of fact, forecast data for N1 month and a plan data for N2 month. After summing up all figures we have predicted (name it as forecast) data for N+2 months.
Of course, the actual, forcast and plan components are hidden in a report.
This is possible because, in plan and forecast we use turnovers (not balances) only. Even a balance sheet is produced without problems, not talking about P&L and Cash Flow.
