I have installed two ACEs in our client, these are with version A3(2.3). Last night I performed the migration the CSS to ACE and I meet a issue, I was checking and found a BUG asociated with this issue. (CSCtb59279).
This BUG is not publicated in Release Note for A3(2.3) and my question is: Is it possible to know the date of publication of this BUG?

If you do a search for CSCtb59279 in the Release Note for the Cisco 4700 Series Application Control Engine Appliance (Software Version A3(x.x)), you will find this bug documented in the Software Version A3(2.5) Resolved Caveats section.

Sending reports to various recipients using a data field on the report

Hi,
I am currently running Crystal Reports Server 2008 with SP 3 applied.
I was wondering if this was possible.
I have a report that I would like to be sent to an email address field on the table that the report runs from. Fields are something like this:
Amount Due, Invoice #, Client's email address, Date
What I would like CRS to do is send out emails depending on what's on the table. Obviously I would need the server to send out the report to a particular client with only the records that should be for them.
I, for some reason, thought there was an ability to add a field from the report on the email itself using brackets or some sort of variable but I'm not sure if this is true.
If anyone can help, I would appreciate it greatly.

You can use Publications for that. As far as I know this should be supported natively in CRS 2008 with SP3.

You have to have CALs (concurrent access licenses) though.

Output file name in publication object

Hello,
I trying to change the default delivery behavior of publication object via C#.
I have a publication object which contain some source reports (CR 2008) and CR report which is the dynamic recipient source.
I need to retrieve full file name and path of output report from dynamic recipient source (e.g. C:\Myfolder\Recipient_ID\recipient_name.doc), and retrieve only file name from dynamic recipient source and send file via email (e. g. recipient_name.doc)
I also want to manipulate some additional parameters from dynamic recipient source like report date (not start date of publication). Default behavior of CMC is that I have only few placeholders.
Can I do it programatically?

I have the same trouble with publication filename.
How can I proceed to assign dinamicaly a filename to a bobj publication?
I have some crystal Reports that take data from SAP Queries.
And I have joined together the crystals in one publication on the BOBJ portal.
My problem start when I try to assign a filename to the PDF result of the publication.
The options I have are not sufficient because I need it to be according to the filter of the SAP queries,
just to know exactly by the filename, what's the Crystal PDF result about.
I have that descriptions in a SAP queryable infoobject.
Is it possible to do what I want.
Please how can I proceed or how could I do something similar.

Can't sync / uninstall / reinstall BB DM v4.7 - Windows Vista error 1402.

I am running BlackBerry Desktop Manager v4.7 on Windows Vista Business. I was having no problems with the program until I downloaded the update that was recently published (build 59, date of publication 2009-06-05, size 111Mb). I downloaded this update through the Automatic Update feature in the program.
The update downloaded fine and went through the stages of installation until it stopped very near the end and gave me the following message:
Error 1402. Could not open key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\PDXlator.ConnectorManger\CLSID. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.
It then “rolled back” the installation and closed the installer. Since then my PC has not recognised my BlackBerry meaning I can no longer sync relegating my BlackBerry to the status of phone and nothing more. When I realised that my PC was not recognising my BB I tried to do a system restore but there were no dates available before the date of the attempted update installation.
I have tried to uninstall the software and it gives me the same error message (Error 1402). I have downloaded the newest version of the software directly from the RIM website and tried to install it over the old version with the same result - Error 1402. I then tried installing the program “For all users of this machine” this gave the following:
Error 1904.Module C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\IS71 Connectors\ISGroupwise6.5.X\GW.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147024891. Contact your support personnel.
I hit ignore and it gave me four or five other messages which were very similar.
After that it stated that it was registering the modules and stayed at about 98% (on the bar) for over 60 mins until I quit the install.
I have tried changing the permissions/deleting the registry key referenced in Error 1402 but that gives me a message saying:
CLSID cannot be opened:
An error is preventing this key from being opened.
Details: Access is denied
I have transferred the ownership of the key (identified in Error 1402) into my user profile and made sure I have all permissions but still nothing changes.
Also, I have tried all of the steps outlined above in the administrator account and nothing is different.
If anyone has any ideas of how I might be able to address this issue, it'd be very much appreciated.

I know how you feel. Frustrated as all hell I bet.
I managed to solve my problem by running a fix (I'll show below) however, you should know that doing this has unregistered my copy of MS Office! I can still use Office but it tells me that it is not a genuine copy and sends me to the MS website at every opportunity. For me this has been a worthwhile tradeoff (at this stage) but I wanted you to be fully informed before you try anything I suggest. I will try and reinstall Office again when I have time which should remove this issue, but no guarantees.

A couple of things with this fix:
Step 6, says that the tool will take "several minutes to run". It took well over an hour on my machine so don't exit too early thinking it's frozen.
And, there was one line of code in step 7 that I had to alter slightly but I can't remember which. Basically, when you are running the SubInACL in the DOS prompt you start typing the keys in and one wasn't recognised. I'm not 100% sure which one it was but I've highlighted the one I think I had to change.
- Navigate to the directory that the DLL files are in and register them.
Type cd C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\IS71 Connectors\ISGroupWise6.5.X\ and hit enter.
Type regsvr32 gw.dll and hit enter
Type gwapi.dll and hit enter
Type cd C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\IS71 Desktop Setup\ and hit enter
Type regsvr32 DesktopSetup_pb.dll and hit enter
Type C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\IS71 Action Engine\ and hit enter
Type regsvr32 SyncAE_pb.dll and hit enter
I think I typed regwapi.dll instead and that workd for me.

Can i install photoshop cs2 on a new mac?

hi, i have a new MBP and wish to install Photoshop CS2 but i am having issues.
i am running OS X 10.9.4. Does anyone know how i can install it?
i can't really justify the price of the full new version of Photoshop for the amount i use it so the free old version is perfect for me. Unless anyone has a cheap Adobe alternative?

I had a requirement to change the format of the form to display the posting. Hence i took the help of the table t77rcf_PRMC_PL , t77rcf_PRM_PL , t77rcf_MDL_PRMC to assign Values to Interface Parameters. Here i user the parameter: FORM_PUBL_EXT_DOVR and parameter value as the new Z form created. The new form was visible in the publication area of the job posting from recruiter portal.
But when i try to view the form by searching the job posting (as a candidate), it is still displayed in the old format. i.e when i try to view the posting using the posting search functionality.
Can anybody please tell me what is the configuration left from my side.

Hi Deepak,
The customizing of V77RCF_MDL_PRMC is wrong.
Value "DISPLAY_PDF" is only allowed with values space or "X".
Furthermore, the correct parameter for the job posting data overviews (publications) is SF_PUBL_EXT and SF_PUBL_INT (see documentation of this IMG step).

FOD mobile db sync with base adf server db not working

Hi,
We have successfully installed and run the base ADF and the mobile adf apps for the fusion order demo app.
Now we are trying to synchronize the client and server dbs.
Our server db is Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 and client db is whatever came with the labs zip file for this mobile client FOD app.
Our Jdev sits on the same box as the above mentioned server db, and hence we installed the MS and MDK on the same box, under two homes (D:\Olite10g_1 and D:\Olite10g_2).
And then we followed the instructions given in the thread by Dennis T (jdeveloper and mobile client blackberry data sync and Mobile Client Developer's Guide for Oracle ADF (section 8.3 Creating Data Sync Publications on the Server).
Also, since the mobile client developer's guide mentioned that sync is not possible for standalone databases, we changed the application's deployment profile
to change the client database connection properties to use "synchronized database on client" with the name as MOBILEFOD, same as what we gave for the "model" project's deployment properties as per the mobile client app dev guid, section 8.3
Now when I try to deploy the app publication artifacts as per Dennis' instructions, Jdev reports the following error: "No entity object is enabled for sync. Publication was not created for the application." and completed the deployment without doing anything.
We then re-deployed the client app from applications - deploy menu, and now when the app opens, it asks for userid-password-server....i am giving syncuser-syncuser-ip address/localhost/127.0.0.1, but all three options for server give the same error: "element "databases" is invalid in this document.
Can anyone help please?

Hi i have consulted the XML spec and it is not possible to have a CDATA section as element content. A element declaration can have only content that is empty, ANY (i.e. can include any other declared elements in DTD), mixed (i.e. can contain PCDATA or child elements, or child elements. An element cannot include any character data which CDATA represents. i.e it is not valid to do <!ELEMENT slideshow CDATA>
The CDATA can only be used with an attribute declaration. Regard CDATA as a type definition for any attribute variables.
So what do i suggest. You could declare a separate element which has an attribute for the CDATA section

CSS in CS4: Can I create "nested styles" similar to InDesign's?

I am working on the obituary archive section of a newspaper website. I have lists of similar 3-line "units", and I have a different class style set up for each line. A typical "unit" would be:
(Person's name) - bold weight, soft return
(Person's age/residence) - regular weight, soft return
(Date of obit publication) - smaller text, hard return
In InDesign, I could easily set up a nested paragraph style (with the help of defined character styles) to automatically format this, but I haven't been able to figure out a quick way to do so in Dreamweaver. So I waste a lot of time selecting different class styles for each line to make it look how I want it. Is it possible to make this simpler? Am I making it too hard?

You are in a way. What are your skills with HTML and CSS? If 'minimal' then you are in for a rough ride. DW doesn't take kindly to that....
It would be a simple matter to define a few descendent selectors that would style everything in each of those units automatically. Does that mean anything to you?

Is there any good way to mapping any XML files into sybase database ? basiclly, I need to parse the XML file and create the related tables to store the elements ....

Create Alerting System in Transcational replication

Hi,
Server A -->publisher and Distributor
Server B -->Subscriber
TX Replication,Pull Subscription.
Q:) we have configured replication and we are monitoring the replication using the following command

from this query we checking the status column for monitoring the replication.
at some time some subscription are missing where the data in publication and subscription are mismatch.
so,we execute the above query it looks fine that it cant displaying the subscription. In Replication monitor when we check particular publisher there is no subscription for that particular publisher. but in subscriber the subscription is present. so what
we do that is delete the subscription and recreate the subscription and make the re-initilize the subscription.
what we want is --> why the subscription is missing how can we find out it reasons ?
how to create a alert for this type of monitoring when subscription is missing(we check the column never expire subscriptionies)?

I maintain a table with the following schema and then have a job that executes a stored procedure that performs various checks (a management procedure that executes a dedicated procedure per each specific check). Regarding this specific request I use a procedure
called "sp_MonitorReplicationMissingSubscriptions", see code bellow. It is very simple and does the job. Based on this this method we also monitor missing articles, inactive articles, inactive subscriptions and more...
The idea is to compare the replication meta data (replication tables) against that reference table.
For easy mangemnet our add artcle and drop article scripts also populates that table or deletes from the table.
