the 14th at 6 est, i have no order anymore, payment denied for no reason, talked to 5 people, they arent willing to help, i think its time to jump ship

Activation date pushed back twice

Hello,
I recently moved into a new flat and told BT 4 weeks in advance that I will be moving and I was told the line would be activated on the 27th of June. That day passed and only the phone line was activated. I called up and was then told that there was an issue with activating Infinity broadband so they gave me another activation date which is today. Today I called just to check if everything was fine and after about an hour of waiting in queues I was told that the order got "lost in the system" and that a new activation date has been set for the 16th of July.
Is this normal? How many times can they push back the activation date? Im considering cancelling my contract as it's becoming more and more frustrating. Can I cancel my contract if they haven't provided me with the full service?
I depend on the internet as I work from home and I've pushing back deadlines as I can't work properly without it. I already spent £80 on topping up mobile data and I just can't afford to keep working like this.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Can anyone give me some advice?

activation is by openreach who own the lines so regardless of ISP apart from cable you will need openreach to install/activate your connection.
as this is a residential line and is not supposed to be used for business purposes albeit many use it for checking business email and casual business use. there is therefore no consideration about loss of business. did you consider a business line which would give you a better level of service guarantee

Service install date pushed back a month

After waiting approx. a month for my Fios install, I get an email three days before the initial install date saying that it has been pushed back, another 30 days.
I call to find out why, no one can tell me. I want to cancel my order, no one can help me.
FTTP is great, but Verizon is horrible.

Probably related the potential for a strike by the CWA.

Why was my delivery date pushed back a whole week????!!!!

I ordered my ipad 3 on sunday the 25th.. from then on till yesterday the delivery was april 4th to 11th, now the delivery date is Apr 9 - Apr 16. they did this without informing me.

We're all just fellow users here and have no idea why your delivery date might have changed. Call the Apple Store or dealer you ordered from and ask.

Album, supposed to be released today, pushed back date to February, but I was charged today

This happened to everyone who preordered American Idol winner, Candice Glover's new album. It was supposed to be relieased today; however the release date was pushed back until February. I woke up this morning to find the "album" downloaded onto my iPhone...that is nine MP3s of four second snippits of dead air. And my iTunes card was debited for $7.10 (I already had her single, so this was a "complete my album" transaction.
I need the money debited back to my iTunes card. There are several albums I want to buy this month, and I can't afford to break out the credit card. Money is tight this month.

My order date has been pushed back to April 2nd when I ordered on Thursday! However people who ordered on Friday are still getting delivery on March 16th?

Hello everyone! On Thursday of last week I ordered the new iPad and I got a confirmed delivery date of March 16th! However my payment wasn't confirmed until 2pm the same day! So I still ordered it on Thursday! However after checking my delivery status on Saturday it was pushed back till April 2nd! However I checked with friends who ordered there's the day after me on Friday and there's will be delivered on March 16th whys this happened to me?

Why has my delivery date been pushed back for The New iPad?

My iPad delivery date has been pushed back to March 20. Anyone else get the same email? When I ordered it, it said it would arrive on March 16. It annoyed me because I sat on my MacBook for 5 hours waiting for the Store to come back online after it went down a second time and as soon as it was back I ordered it!! Has anyone else received a similar email? The best part is the online store stated delivery for new orders as "delivered March 16" for an entire 24 hours after I ordered!!!

BT Infinity Dartford pushed back AGAIN!

So this is my first time posting on the forum, but i feel i need to say this because its starting to get stupid. Back in June 2010 BT said i was going to be able to get BT Infinity 1 (40MB down | 2MB up). Well that never happened and the dates have been pushed back again to September 30th 2014 .
The only reason we switched to BT was to get Fibre Optic broadband as soon as it was available. That day never came and we are really starting to get fed up with the dates being pushed back, its almost been 4 years since BT first announced our cabinet was going to be upgraded but as of now it has not.
Our current connection is 1.9 Mbps down and 0.3 Mbps, and is not enough when two people are trying to play games on steam and the other two are watching YouTube videos. It is just such a pain that the fibre dates come and go as if no one is actually doing anything about it.
Even if my cabinet is not going to be upgraded anytime soon i would at least like an answer to the reasons why, according to openreach "We are in ongoing discussion with the relevant authority about the location of this cabinet." They have not said anything else apart from that for the past 2 years, no new information has been given.
What makes it worse, there is someone less then 100 ft from my house with a BT Infinity connection.
Is there anyone who can give me a bit more information that Openreach are giving me?
I am currently connected to cabinet P13 which is linked to the Dartford exchange.

Up until recently you could email Openreach and ask when your cabinet was likely to be upgraded however Openreach are no longer giving out that information, instead they are replying:-

It will also provide links to those service providers that sell fibre broadband at the moment so you can check if your particular line is enabled.

So in short, you just need to keep checking to see if your cabinet has been up graded.

We are trying to develop a java program that is supposed to open an SSL connection to an external trading partner and send some xml data. We are using the http_client.jar (HTTPClient) library to do that. We have already managed to write a program to do SSL requests but we also need to pass these requests through a proxy server. When we use this proxy server we get the following exception from HTTPClient:

Hi,
I found out that this is a reported bug (bug no. 3748882) that applies with App Server version 9.0.4 which is using SSL via a proxy server. The solution is to upgrade to app server version 10.1.2

Data push in flex

I am working on data push in flex!
I am using consumer component in flex to subscribe to server to receive the data push by it!
Data push is happening for sometime and when I switch to other browsers and come back consumer is not listening to the data sent by server but I can see the logs in the server. let me know any poitnters regarding this?

check web.xml file in your server, need to set session time out property as below

Data Push

Hi,
When it comes to data push in coldfusion everyone start talking about Live cycle and BlazDS, but looks like those 2 products can't work unless you use Flex , Flash or AIR, looks like it can't update just a simple div content on a web page, I saw one example which use a third part server http://pusherapp.com/ to make the data push!!.
Can't ColdFusion just do a simple push without using Flex ... etc or a third party server, any example??

The app you mention only works on HTML5 (which hasn't been released yet), and indeed it falls back to Flash on browsers that don't support HTML5.
The fact of the matter is that most people can't use HTML5 features yet because it's not widely supported (by that I mean: it's not supported on IE, which is the browser the bulk of people use, whether we like it or not).
Also, looking at this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_layout_engines_%28HTML_5%29 - general HTML5 support aside, it seems that web sockets are hardly supported on any browser at all, as yet.
So it would be a poor use of resource for CF to include support for this sort of "edge case" just yet.
And even after HTML5 is released, it will be quite a long time before it has the ubiquity necessary for this sort of solution to be a sensible approach. IMO.
The current best option for push-capable applications is... Flash. It does have the ubiquity (some niche Apple products aside ;-)

Why has my upgrade eligibility been pushed back?

I know I posted about this before, but it still baffles me. Right now I'm using a droid razr maxx HD which was bought around March of 2012. The site says my upgrade eligibility is for March of 2015. The really interesting thing is that I bought my mother a phone last November (much farther after my own phone) and hers is set right around the 2 year for an upgrade which is fine. Why then was my upgrade pushed back another year? Has this happened to anyone else?

I don't think you got your RAZR MAXX HD when you think you did.
That phone wasn't released until October of 2012. I'm thinking you got it March of 2013 which would put March of 2015 at your 2-year mark.
You should be able to go into My Verizon documents section and see the actual receipt for the phone with the date.

Iphone 6 plus ship date pushed up!!

Although my original ship date was supposed to be 9/19, and was then pushed back to 10/7, I checked this morning and it was pushed up to 10/3. That is a little bit of good news! I can only hope it gets pushed up again!
A little less frustrating

I agree Wiugraduate17 it isn't exactly good news considering we were told 9/19 to begin with. But, I am still happy to see the date moving back just for the simple fact that I don't want to wait an additional month to get it. Verizon & Apple as well as all other mobile carriers knew that this was going to be HUGE. They knew everyone was waiting for a bigger and better iPhone. They had the knowledge to prepare, and didn't. It was a complete failure on their part. When customers are willing to pre-order phones in the middle of the night, they need to be able to fulfill the orders and make their devoted and loyal customers know it wasn't a waste of time.

No data in Web i Report but i could see data at back end sql

I have line charts in Webi Report. The report generated sql has data when i run at back end but if i run the webi report i couldn't data and see as Query 1 does not have have the data. May i know the reason for this pls ?

If you are getting data at back end not in reports then then possibly there can be several reasons
1. Check for query properties:
at Query level click refresh and check whether you are able to see some results:
If not then there might be a filter at universe level or if yes then check if there are any filter at report level.

Delete the account on your phone. This will not delete any data on her phone or iPad, or data stored in iCloud.
