To find the latest date and time
HI all,
I have a Ztable which contains execution date and exe time.
1) I need to find the latest date and time How can we do this?
2) In my program,I need to insert some values to date, time and status field in Ztable. How can I insert it directly into the table?
for eg ZTAB-DATE = 010122006
ZTAB-TIME = 12.20.20
just INSERT ZTAB is enough or NOT????????????
POINTS WILL BE REWARDED
THANKS IN ADVANCE1) You can do a number of things, one you can get all of the relevant records and sort the internal table by date and time in decending order, then simply read the first record of the internal table.
2) It depends on the key of the table. Say for example, you have a table like so.
MANDT
KEYFIELD
DATE
TIME
If the key alreays exists, you can use the modify statement to update the record, if it dosn't exists, you need to use the INSERT statement to insert the records.
data: xtab type ztable.
xtab-keyfield = 'ABC'.
xtab-date = '20070207'. " or sy-datum
xtab-time = '221600'. " or sy-uzeit.
insert ztable from xtab.
Make sure to use internal fomat for DATE and TIME.

Need to know the sqluery to find the disabled date from OIM 9.1.0.1
Hi Experts,
Need very urgent inputs from you all for the preparation of our audit.
We are using OIM9.1.0.1
We need to know the sqlquery for finding the Disabled date in OIM given the user ids, as currently we are unable to get the exact data from Historical Reports Option in OIM.
I need to give in this format:
select usr_login, usr_disabled from schemaname.tablename where usr_login in
('aaa','bbb'..... etc)
We have three attributes :USR_DISABLED_BY_PARENT,USR_DISABLED,USR_DEPROVISIONING_DATE,but none of them give the exact date,
USR_DISABLED gives just a flag as 1 or 0.
Also there are no other fields in the corresponding usr table.
So how to fetch the exact Disabled date from OIM system when I input the user ids.
Your immediate response is appreciated.
Thanks
SSIn the entire thread many experts have given nice queries in different formats...
The best approach would be to open up the SQL Developer, connect with the OIM Database and experiment with all sorts of SQL queries provided by all the experts..
Learn some SQL techniques, like Inner Join etc...
Then you yourself will be able to figure out what you need, in exactly which format, for which users and for whom you have to restrict
Then not only this question, you would be able to solve dozens of similar such issues yourself...
And trust me, nothing can match that...
Just in case, you are not familiar with SQL Developer,
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/sql-developer/downloads/index.html
Oracle SQL Developer 3.2.1 (3.2.10.09.57)

The Disabled DATE will be the creation date of that entry in the UPA_FIELDS table when Users.Status changed to Disabled.
SELECT USR.USR_LOGIN, UPA_FIELDS.CREATE_DATE
FROM UPA_FIELDS
WHERE UPA_FIELDS.FIELD_NAME='Users.Status'
AND UPA_FIELDS.FIELD_NEW_VALUE='Disabled'
AND UPA_FIELDS.UPA_USR_KEY=USR.USR_KEY
AND USR.USR_LOGIN NOT IN ('XELSYSADM', 'XELOPERATOR', 'WEBLOGIC'); -
PL/SQL I need to find the data for practice
Please don't laugh at my question, since it is sort of nieve question. I had bought a call Oracle database 10g pl/sql programming so that I can practice on my laptop by installing the express edition.
I installed oracle express edition and hard coded as per book, but I don't have the data file where the sql or pl/sql command will pull as per its commands.
I looked the book here and there and the publisher's website. What I find they have codes in the website whic I can download or copy from the book or write on my own,
Can anyone will help me or show the rope how I can get the data and continue my practice with enjoyment, Thank you in anticipationHi!
What data r u taking about? Is it data from Employees,Department ... tables or data from any other table? If it is the first one - and if u installed Oracle in your labtop. Then u may find there is another scheama called HR which is generally locked. U have to unlock that account and then u can proceed with ur query which will give the exact data that u r looking for. Hope that will help.
Regards.

Any Standard Program to upload the financial data
Hi Team,
Any standard program which will upload the financial data(trail balance) into sap fi.
The scenario is that there are few company codes which is not in sap and we need to upload their financial data in sap like trail balance, I need to upload this company code data in sap fi, please suggest some standard program which uploads this data.
Thanks in advance
Kind Regards
sridharHi,
Standard programs are there, but those dont fit to your requirement.
e.g. Based on the account type(D, K, S) there are different different fields should be filled up.
If it is Vendor invoice, you have to capture Inv.no., text, leacy subledger number if required.
All these fields are not required for GL data upload.
Better create 3 LSMW'S for GL, Vedor & Customers.

Where do i find the release date for a PO
Hi,
I am writing a report and i need to find
1) "request date" for the release
2) "release date"(from the higher authority) for PO
I did look up in ekko and ekpo.. couldnt find it. ekko-frgzu gives the staus but i need the actual date.
Pls help
HrishiHi Hrishikesh ,
As the release is a PO changing process and it is at the header level you should be able to find in the table CDHDR - Change header table.
With combination of PO i.e object and Transaction (ME28 for PO release ) you should be able to find the change documents for that PO with the date released
in CDHDR table.
Hope this will resolve your issue.
Thanks , Kiran
P.S Pls award points if the answer is helpful -

Last edited by Inxsible (2011-03-27 04:40:49)I just checked my BIOS and my current setting is set at IDE although it also mentions that the default should be AHCI. Currently I have a dual boot of Windows 7 (need it for Tax software) and Arch
So I guess, when I get the new HDD, I will first set it to AHCI and then install the OSes on it. See if NCQ helps any, and if not I will turn it back and re-install (if I have to). I am planning to have Windows only in virtualbox in the new drive.
Anyhoo, while I was in the BIOS I found two things which I had questions about :
1) Under Onboard Devices --> Integrated NIC , my setting is currently set at "On w/PXE" and it says the default should be just "On". Would it be ok to change it back to On since its a single machine and its not booting an OS on any server. I just don't want to have to re-install anything now since I will be doing that in the new HDD.
2) How would I know whether my BIOS would support a 64 bit OS in Virtualbox? I checked some setting under Virtualization, but they weren't very clear.
I will edit this post and let you know exactly what settings were present under the Virtualization sub-section. -
Need to convert the binary data in blob field to readable format
Hi,
We need to convert the Binary data in the BLOB field to readable format and need to display it in Oracle Apps Environment, does anybody come across the similar requirement.
please advise, thanks in advance.
Regards,
Babu. You could use standard Attachments functionality here ... if the blob is not in FND_LOBS, insert into FND_LOBS, fnd_attached_documents etc to enable viewing via "Attachments" to the entity the blob is related to.

I Need to Write the current Date and Time
I need to write the current date and time to calculate the spend time in each instruction.
What is the instrucion?
Thanks.
MIGUEL ANGEL CARO
[email protected]The current time can be determined with a Date object:
Date now = new java.util.Date() ;or if you are interested in the seconds since the epoch:
System.currentTimeMillis() ;If you wanted to print them out:
System.out.println( new java.util.Date() ) ;
System.out.println( System.currentTimeMillis() ) ;Kenny -
Need to find the assets associated to a BCC project using SQL query
Hi,
Given a BCC project (project_id), I need to find the assets (type of asset, version, status etc) in that project using SQL queries.
I need this for reporting purpose and cannot do this programatically using any code.
Surprisingly ATG does not store this association in a direct way. Can someone provide me the query if you have already done this before?
I tried enabling loggingDebug in PublishingRepository and VersionManagerRepository to get the queries, but I did not get what I want.
Thanks in advance,
Gopinath RamasamyUPDATE:
When a project is selected in BCC, ATG is doing something crazy, as it appears to me, of querying all the tables (ofcourse when there is a cache miss) in all the versioned item descriptor with the workspace id of the project to display the assets contained in it.
I do not see an easy or direct way of coming up with a query for this requirement.
Please let me know if anyone has any other idea.
Thanks,
Gopinath Ramasamy -
Last night my wife asked me when I had burned an audio CD.
I popped it into the iMac and did a Get Info only to discover that its creation and modification dates were yesterdays!
I then tried it in Toast 11 under Disk Info and got no dates at all . . . just technical data.
DVDs do display the creation date in Get Info but not CDs.
Is there any way to find out?I don't think you're going to be able to do this. The problem is that the data on an audio CD is in a special format (caslled Solomon-Reed Cross Interleave if you really want to know) in which eveything is in a single stream with special error protection, and a table of contents at the beginning listing where each track begins. When you put the CD into a Mac the Finder shows the tracks as AIFF files, but this is an illusion; since the Finder is doing this on the fly it shows them as created at the time of insertion (I don't know why you're getting 'yesterday'). If you drag them to the Desktop then they will be converted to AIFF in the process.
I don't know what a PC does: but the CD's data isn't a computer-type file and doesn't contain the creation date, so it's academic. -
