Can I add a date selection field?

One other question.  Does the “submit” button located at the bottom of the PDF only upload documents to the cloud that have been opened in Acrobat?
I made a form that can be submitted to the Adobe cloud after clicking the “submit” button at the bottom of the page when the PDF is opened in Acrobat.  However, the “submit” button doesn’t seem function properly when I open the document in PDF Expert on my Ipad.  Is there any way for the submit option to operate in PDF expert, or do I have to use an Adobe app on the Ipad?

    You can update the table RSOSFIELDS for the datasource by writing an abap code like this
    tables ROOSFIELD.
    Update ROOSFIELD set SELECTION = 'M' where
    OLTPSOURCE = '<your datasource name>' and
    FIELD = '<field on which mandatory selection is needed>'.

  • Data selection period seems no use in logical DB PCH??

    Hi experts,I have a problem when using LDB PCH.
    There are object selection period fields PCHOBEG and PCHOEND.
    there are also data selection period fields PCHBEGDA and PCHENDDA .
    I set the data selection fields PCHBEGDA & PCHENDDA values at Start-of-selection event.
    But this seems to have no effect on the data selection.
    on GET OBJEC event,all of the infotype data will be got,but not corrosponding to the data selection period.
    Is this normal?or something wrong?Thanks.

    In PCH you have two periods. One for selecting objects and one for selecting data (infotypes).

  • Not able to put data selection condition in data selection tab of infopakag

    I was loading data from data source as data mart ( export data sauce from ODS) to other ODS.
    when I tried to do delta Initialization with data transfer , I am not able to put data selection condition in data selection tab of infopakage.
    when I choose Full Update in Update tab . It enables data selection fields in data selection tab. and I could put the condition.
    I have checked in transfer structure as well , the fields are marked for selection.
    Please advice .

    As you are doing delta upload the data selection tab will be disabled, if you want to do the selective load then you need to do init update with your selection.
    When you do the full updtae then definitely the data selection tab will be enabled for all the objects.

  • Date selection in query : logic needed!

    Hi,
    we have one calendar day depending on which the query result is displayed!
    Now the requirement is such that when user enters one date the query has to generate the result for the multiple date ranges including the one which he has entered.
    example: if user has entered 15/9/2007 then query should not only display the result of the date 15/9/2007 but also the results of  -5 to +2 ( means 10/9,11/9,12/9,13/9 and 14/9 plus 16/9 and 17/9 )
    simlarly other ranges like -8 to + 7 and so on
    How to define this in query?

    I need to make a graph conveying the information of the deliveries by comparing the goods issue date and promised date !
    report also requires how many deliveries were on time, how many were late and how many were early!
    for this requirement, i had thought of making a date selection field which is promised date and make furthur more date ranges selections by query it self so that late deliveries and early deliveries also covered in these date ranges.
    -5 to + 2 is that one range which is on time delivery range
    if the delivery is more eally than the -5 days then it is early delivery. even in ealry delivery i want to make how early it is.
    and suppose the delivery has crossed the promised date 2 days more then it is late delivery.
    all has to be acheived by single date selection and there after the logic which takes care of all the date ranges i had explained.
    i am looking for that logic which i am not finding

    hi,
    To display the info objects in the infopackage selection screen, go to RSA6 select your data source and select the selection check boxes and save the data source and replicate the data source.
    create the new info package you can find the info objects in the selection screen of info package.
    If u r in BI 7.0, u can manipulate this restriction in DTP using FILTER option in Extraction.

    12/11/2011 - 12/15/2011
    and on click on this field wil open a calender for 3 months which is scrollable and we can directly select "to date" and "from date" .

    what about building a declarative component? The component is a text field with a button associated to bring up the date select fields. In teh date select field (a popup) you have two date pickers next to each other, one showing the from and one the to. Because the data components can be dynamically refreshed and modified, you can nicely disable all dates before the chosen "from" date in the "to" date field. You then bind the declarative component to the ADF attribute you want to persist the value in. The declarative component uses a managed bean to return from date - to date as a String

  • Does the data selection on an infopackage only allow a range

    Will the data selection tab on an infopackage allow for multiple single values or just a range?  I have a routine that loads speciific plants.  I'm not getting an error but when I run the infopackage but it seems to be grappbing data for all plants

    It will allow multiple selections..
    You need to place the cursor on the required object  in the data selection field, and then click on + (Plus) icon at the bottom this bill bring one more entry for the same object.
    Like this you can make multiple times to maintain the multiple Selections..

  • How can I enforce automatic spell checking for selected fields of data entered by form users?

    I'd like to be able to enforce spell checking of selected fields in the forms that I've created using LiveCycle Designer 8.2 at run time, as opposed to design time.  I understand the version LCD 8 has a nifty new spell checker for form designers.  But I want to spell check the data entered by users using Acrobat Reader.  And I want to enforce the spell checking automatically on selected fields only.
    Presently it seems that users filling in my forms, must know how to manually right-click on each field and select "Spell Check" from the resulting dialog box in order to check for spelling errors in the data the user has entered in the form.
    I would like to discover a way to enforce spell checking in selected fields, just as I am able to do in forms created using Acrobat Pro.  In Acrobat Pro, I can set a property for each field to require spell checking.  but that feature seems to be missing in Livecycle Designer.
    I've check the Object model for XFA forms hoping that I might find a method I can call with a Javascript, to check spelling based on an event such as onBlur.  But I haven't found a spell check method.
    Am I missing something simple?  Is there a way to set each field to be spell checked when a user is filling in the form using the free Acrobat Reader?
    Our users are not sophisticated and requiring them to spell check each field separately just won't cut it...
    Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi David,
    Two things...
    At design time set the locale of the form to one that Acrobat spell checks. For example English (US) and English (UK) locales have spell checkers; however English (Ireland) does not. Check the Warnings tab to see if spell checking is supported for your locale.
    If your form locale supports spell checking then you can go to the button script below.
    If you form locale does NOT support spell checking then Stephanie has a great work around to force spell checking (http://forums.adobe.com/message/2233945#2233945).
    Bring a regular button onto the form and in the click event have the following:
    app.execMenuItem("Spelling:Check Spelling");

    Hi,
    You need check Selection in RSO2 in ECC then that field is available for Selectgion in InfoPackage.
    Here I'm giving 0CUST_SALES_ATTR DataSource Example for Selection Change, so see the logic and accordingly you can change your DataSource Selections.
    See the properties of that field in RSA2 in ECC and you can also make it for selection, use the following program and see it.
    In ROOSFIELD table give the datasource 0CUST_SALES_ATTR and see , select only Active version Fields.
    For the following fields you can find FIELD = X, it indecates that it is abailable for selections, so in this way you try to do it by using following program and check.
    KUNNR
    SPART
    VKORG
    VTWEG
    REPORT ZBI_ROOSFIELD NO STANDARD PAGE HEADING .
    tables ROOSFIELD.
    Update ROOSFIELD set SELECTION = 'X' where
    OLTPSOURCE = '0CUST_SALES_ATTR' and
    FIELD = 'FAKSD '.

    I created generic data source based on Function Module. I went to RSA3 to test the extraction and I got this error message when I tried to enter a date as input selection in date field or any other selection field
    If I test the extraction without any input I get correct results.
    Whats the reason for this error?

    Hi Hari,
    If you choose Select fields, you'll be able to filter this IO in Selection tab of infopackage (set IO's value(s) to be loaded).
    In case of hide field you'll not have it in the transfer structure at all.

    Hi SAP Gurus,
    I'd like to know how to add one field as a selection field for the data source.I used 0FI_GL_4 Datasource .It has 2 selection.Now I want to add one more field as a selection field .How to mark that field as selection?I tried by using RSA6 ,But I'm unable to change the previous selection.
    Please let me know how to fix it?

      when ever you create any Generic DS, you can find generic DS(I checked this), comming append fields(it's happend to me)... there is no meaning.. as we know... we will extract the data for append fields using existing DS.
    Comming Raju:
    to my knowledge, you should not add that field as selection enabled(wait for others posts). I had seen many posts for working on this... by updating the Table ROOSFIELD table for the respective DS. I never implemented this... if you update this using any custom program be careful. Ihave ccreated the program for append fields not for Standard Extractor.

  • SAP GRC 10.1 AMF No data selected when adding duplicate fields from separate tables for configurable data sources

    Hi There,
    In SAP GRC 10.0, our team had an issue where we could not add duplicate fields from separate table (see ERROR: Select Currency/UoM field for the selected analyzed fields). This was resolved by the SAP Note 1904313/ 1904314 (http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1904313).
    We upgraded our system to SAP GRC 10.1 SP05 and could now add the duplicate fields from separate tables. SAP Note 1904313/ 1904314 was part of SAP GRC 10.1 SP03 so it makes sense that we, in a higher version (SP05), would be able to do this.
    The issue now is when we add the duplicate fields from different tables and run the Ad-hoc Query to test if the data source works correctly, the No Data Selected warning persists. This means that the data source provides no data for analysis, which is required to write our business rules.
    Below is an example:
    Basic data source with just one currency reference field EBAN-WAERS.
    When you run the Ad-Hoc Query you receive data.
    Basic data source with second currency reference field EKKO-WAERS.
    When you run the Ad-Hoc Query no data is found.
    Please also make reference to the following thread logged by my colleague (ERROR: Select Currency/UoM field for the selected analyzed fields)
    Any assistance to receive data with duplicate fields from separate tables will be highly appreciated.

    Can anyone help me out with listbox data-selection.
    In the listbox in at 'selections' i am giving itab type standard table.
    Its accepting only the standard type itab.
    its not accepting itabs with headers.
    so I have given table as standard type.
    In the oninputporcessing also I have given same itab.
    but when I trying to save these data->selection into another table using another itab
    I am getting problem that me->selections are not possible.
    I am getting data from one table and saving in the another table which is different from previous but having same key.
    Hope you understood my problem.
