Date Smart Links not opening iCal

Hi,
I'm getting an error that says "No associated application could be found" when clicking on a Date Smart Link on the Mail.app.
The Date Smart Link is actually the words "Next Thursday" with containing the link x-apple-data-detectors://0
Any suggestions to fix this?

Yes, I have iCal and it is in my Applications folder. The Date Smart Link doesn't work even when iCal is running.

Is there a way to configure the smart link right after a Map Published Data to only allow the next activity to run if the output patches a pattern in the Map Published Data?

if not ... you can use the "Compare Values" Activity and subscribe the Published Data from the "Map Published Data" Activity there and trigger only if "comparison result equals true".

The date format you have mentioned 009 2011 won't be supported by SAP system. Please enter it in correct format. If the format is OK an not working means MM posting periods are not open for this month this error will come.In MMPV give company code and specify the period to close and save.Again go to same transaction open the period for this month. Why are some of my links not opening when I save a document as a pdf? They are opening in word.

The links are opening in microsoft word documents but when I save the document to a pdf some of the links are not opening. The links are containing % or lots of extra numbers. How can I prevent this from happening?

What is your operating system? Reader version? How do you convert to PDF?
You write that "some" of the links don't open; what's the difference with links that do open?

Link not opening in new page

I have a javascript for an array of rotating logos. Each logo is associated with a link. When you click on the logo, the corporate website linked to the logo opens but it does not open in a new page. How do I get it to open in a new page?

I'm relatively new to web development and I'm afraid I don't understand what static address I'm supposed to change. I tried substituting the http://www.externalsite.com with clickLink() but that resulted in a "page not found" message. I don't understand what "http://www.externalsite.com" represents since there is a different address for each logo. Could you please be more specific?

I have everything set properly, but the links will not open in a new window, even though the box is checked. What could be causing this. It is very important that some particular links open in a new window. Website is adstreet.com and the link is the Apparel & Specialties link. Any ideas?

You're referring to these links at the bottom, correct?

4.0 EA1 - Data Modeler does not open saved models

When trying to open a Data Modeler design created by Data Modeler 3.3.1.748, the Logical Model is empty (has no objects) and the Relational Model is not opened. Right clicking on the Relational_1 node and attempting to open the Relational Model yields an empty Relational Model (again no objects). Since the Relational Model is empty I can't even try to open the Physical Model.
I am able to successfully import DDL and Data Dictionary objects into a new model, however, after saving the model, If I try opening it with SQL Dev 4.0 or SQL Dev 3.2.20 with the 3.3.1.748 version of Data Modeler, none of the models are properly opened as above.
Finally when closing a Data Modeler Design, the entire Data Modeler Browser tree disapears (the browser pane remains but is empty). The only apparent way to recover the browser tree is to restart SQL Developer.

I've started from a fresh install of EA1 without importing settings from v3.2. Changed my look and feel to match my OS (Windows) enabled logging and set the logging directory.

For some reason it's trying to read C:\Program Files\SQLDeveloper\SQLDev-4.0.0.12.27\sqldeveloper\extensions\oracle.datamodeler.4\types\types.xml, however prior to running SQL Dev the oracle.datamodeler.4 directory does not exist although an oracle.datamodeler directory (without the dot4) does exist with the types\types.xml file.
If I rename the oracle.datamodeler directory to oracle.datamodeler.4 then the data model opens partially, though all my relationships are missing and probably other stuff as well. Further I get the following in the log:

If instead of renaming the oracle.datamodeler directory to oracle.datamodeler.4 I copy it, then everything loads correctly, though models created with SQL Dev 3.2 have errors when opening the Physical Model, but once saved with SQL Dev 4's DataModeler, those errors do not reoccur.
Is the fact that it's trying to read files from a nonexistant oracle.datamodeler.4 directory a bug?
If not what should be in the oracle.datamodeler.4 directory? Obviously not everything in the oracle.datamodeler directory, but at least some of the files are needed.

XML form link not opening in scrolling news

I have created news by using XML form in that I m passing links which is opening in 'Show' form.then I have used KM Document Iview and passing ivew link of that form in 'Marquee Tag' then create par file of that which works properly(news scroller is working).But when I click on link its not opening.
Please help asap. Its urgent...

If the second is the case I would just use a hyperlink which opens in a new tab via target blank attribute:

And you can place it in a content editor web part.
Btw, with SharePoint 2013 you can use the Script Editor Web Part to embed a form from a source like Survey Monkey:

External Link - not opening

At first I thought it was my firewall because I haven't had
this problem before, but I found out it wasn't.
I've tried three browsers with the same result (latest flash
version) (Opera, Firefox, and Internet Explorer), but I still can't
open external links in flash Example: Weather.com's Allergies
Outlook (it says View Complete Pollen Cast) but the link will not
open (unless I Shift-Click). But links that open in a new window
will open just perfectly, links that attempt to open in the same
window (that are external) will not open, no matter what I try to
do. I've disabled Security software, re downloaded and installed
Flash, tried on a different computer (which worked), tried 3
browsers, closed all running (non-essential) processes.
I'm not sure if this would have anything to do with it, but I
did install Vista SP1, then remove it (it didn't work in SP1
either), I'm not sure about before...
Any Suggestions?

I agree with OP. There should be a '''setting''' that makes '''all links that can be opened with an app open in the app immediately '''(or show the dialog OP mentioned).
On a slow mobile connection, waiting for the page to load just to be able to click the icon and open it in the app is painful! It takes ages...

Links not opening as new tabs in Safari window

I have set my Safari preferences so that when I click a link, it should open a new tab in the current window yet it never works. A clicked URL brings up a new window and I'm constantly merging all the windows into one.
Any ideas why this preference might not be holding?

Unless this occurs for every link you click, the problem is due to the fact that some links are coded in the HTML to open in new windows. In Safari, those links will open in a new window no matter what you do. Only links that are coded to open normally (i.e. in the same window) will open in a new tab when Command-clicked. In other words, Safari is just not set up to override how a link is coded, as Firefox and some other browsers are. Safari honors the "new window" HTML.
There is a way to get around this without using third-party software. It requires using Terminal to change Safari's default behavior. It's a very simple change, essentially just toggling a hidden setting to the "on" position, and shouldn't cause any problems as some "hacks" can do.
To do this, simply open Terminal (in the Applications/Utilities folder) and paste the following command:
defaults write com.apple.Safari TargetedClicksCreateTabs -bool true
And hit the Return key. Quit and relaunch Safari.
If you want to reverse this change, enter the following command in Terminal:
defaults write com.apple.Safari TargetedClicksCreateTabs -bool false
And then the Return key.

Why does clicking on a link not open in a new tab although i have selected this feature under options

I have selected that links should open in new tabs, but they keep opening in my current tab.

That feature isn't for '''''all''''' links, only for those links that would open in a new window; no affect on links that are programmed to open in the same window. That preference diverts a new window to a new tab. If you want all links to open in a new tab, middle-click or {Ctrl + Click} links.

Pages is up to date, yet can not open a document.

I am working with the current version of pages, however a document I was just working on now will not open and says I need the current version of pages. How can I fix this?!

This message usually means that you have both iWork 08 and iWork 09 on your computer. That's not a problem per se, but you can't use iWork 08 to open iWork 09 documents, and that's what causes the message.
You need to make sure that you are uing iWork 09 apps unless you have a particular need to keep a document in 08 format. Use the command Pages > About Pages to find which version you are using. If the Pages icon on your Dock brings up the iWork 08 version, Quit Pages and then drag the icon off the Dock so you don't use it by accident.
Find the 09 version in the Applicaitons folder, in iWork '09, and drag the Pages app to the Dock to set the proper shortcut.
