Hallo Herr Huldi,
Probieren Sie eventuell mal Im Bridge Menü Bearbeiten => Voreinstellungen => Erweitert - und dort ein Häkchen raus bei "Mit Doppelklick können Camera-RAW Einstellungen bearbeitet werden". Hilft das ?
Grüße
Matthias

  • Help for using camera raw in PSE 8/Bridge for Mac for the Canon 7D

Recently purchasing the Canon 7D, taking a few test photos in Raw, then trying to use Camera Raw in PSE8/Bridge for Mac is a problem.  I cannot figure it out.  Can anyone help this frustrated, novice computer user?

You need to update the camera raw plug-in for bridge and PSE 8 separately (they use two different copies). In Bridge, just go to Help>Updates which will install, I think, ACR 5.7, which  works with your camera. (You can't update bridge beyond that version).
For PSE 8, go here, download the latest version and follow the instructions in the readme file.
    http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=40&platform=Macintosh
Note that the directions may tell you that you can overwrite the old plug-in. That isn't true--you must remove it before putting the new one in there.

  • Opening Camera Raw file in CS3 Bridge

I have CS3 Bridge and CS3 Dreamweaver instaled as well as Photoshop CS2.
I want to open Camera Raw files in CS3 Bridge. The Bridge Help file says:
"Select 'Edit Camera Raw Settings' in Bridge General Preferences to open Camera Raw dialog box in Bridge" (as opposed to opening in Photoshop.)
But my Bridge General Preferences has no such checkbox option. When I open a CR file in CS3 Bridge, the file opens in Photoshop CS2.
How do I get the file to open in CS3 Bridge.
    Thanks, CMA

I had a problem with this previously and came up with the following:
If I am in Bridge and double click a JPEG or TIFF and hold down the shift key, Camera Raw will not be scheduled
If I am in Bridge and double click a JPEG or TIFF image, the image will always schedule Camera Raw if the Bridge menu item Edit/Preference/Thumbnails has Adobe Camera Raw for JPEG and TIFF checked (Bridge JPEG and TIFF Checked).
If I am in Bridge and double click a JPEG or TIFF image and Bridge JPEG and TIFF is unchecked and the JPEG or TIFF image has previously been processed by Camera Raw, Camera Raw will be scheduled if Camera Raw Preferences dialog has Always open JPEG files with settings using Camera Raw or Always open TIFF files with settings using Camera Raw checked.
If I am in Bridge and double click a TIFF image and the TIFF file has layers, the TIFF file will not schedule Camera Raw.
In Photoshop Preferences (Edit/Preference/File Handling) there is a check box titled Prefer Adobe Camera Raw for JPEG files. I checked the check box and opened a JPEG image in Photoshop Camera Raw was scheduled. I clicked Open Image in ACR and then saved the image in Photoshop (JPEG saved in Photoshop after passing thru ACR). I then Unchecked the check box and opened the JPEG file Camera Raw was not scheduled.
The only action I see for the Photoshop File Handling check box is to either schedule or not to schedule JPEG images. I do not see any related action for TIFF files in Photoshop. My expectation is that TIFF files will open in Photoshop not ACR.

  • Since installing Photoshop CC I can't access Camera Raw from the program Bridge.

Since installing Photoshop CC I can't access Camera Raw from the program Bridge.  When I try, I get a message that says, "Camera Raw editing is not enabled. Camera Raw editing requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature."  Is Photoshop CC a qualifying product?  It has been opened a number of times, but it doesn't solve this problem.

I am having this exact same problem and just upgraded to Windows 7...many people are saying to update the Plug In for Camera Raw to 4.6, but that is not working for me to see it in Bridge or Camera Raw.

  • Camera Raw Preferences in Adobe Bridge CS6

I can click on Camera Raw Preferences from the Adobe CS6 Menu, but nothing happens. No error meesages come up, but nothing happens.
I recently installed ACR7.3. I did have some problems getting ACR7.3 installed. The updater from Photoshop and Bridge didn't seem to install it.  I had to download ACR7 and install it.
After the successful install of ACR7.3,  I can double click on an image in Adobe Bridge CS6 and it will open the raw image in ACR7.3 in Photoshop CS6.
The other annoyance is that the images for my RAW files for my Panasonci GH3 don't display in Adobe Bridge. They appear as a blank icon
    I am running on a Mac OS X 10.6.8 64 bit
    Adobe Bridge CS6 5.0.0.399
    Adobe Camera Raw 7.3.0.71
    Adobe PS C6 13.0.4  x64
I do have older versions of Adobe CS5 and CS4 that I have never removed. I've never had problems before. And didn't need the space so I just left them.
Any ideas of why Adobe Bridge CS6 and ACR7.3 aren't in sync? - Thanks Rod

Ok, everything was ok until I rebooted my machine. Now when I open Adobe Bridge CS6, The Raw images show up initially. But when Adobe Bridge finally gives me control, the images have become blank icons again. I've tried the CommandOptionShift and it does not help.  It was fine for two weeks and now I can't get the raw images to stay.
Here is what I see as Adobe Opens the older. The Raw images are viewable.
Now this is how they look after Adobe Bridge has finished opening and I can click on something:
Where do I go from here?

  • Unable to open Camera Raw 6.7 from Bridge CS5

I am unable to view the RAW images that were taken on my D90 in Bridge CS5. They show up blank with the Camera Raw logo in the center and "NEF" in the upper left hand corner. This is the first time this problem has occured because I was (and still) able to view RAW images taken from my old D40. I have tried everything including updating my Camera Raw to version 6.7.0.339, but to no avail! I have no error messages, btw. I am operating Bridge and Photoshop CS5 on Windows 7 (32-bit). I found this thread, and it seems extremely helpful, but it's for Mac users: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2842306

All you need to do now is to refresh (purge) the cache.  Everything is fine with your install.
That the right version of the ACR Plug-in is installed in the correct location is proven by the screen shot of the "About Camera Raw" splash screen.  It would not show up in "About Plug-in" if it were not in the correct location.
I also take it only one instance of Camera Raw shows up in your list.
I see absolutely nothing in your first screen shot that would prevent you from sliding your mouse over to the "Purge Cache for This Folder" menu command and then letting go of the mouse.  That's all it takes.  That menu item does not appear to be grayed out.  The only thing that is not clear is whether you do in fact have a folder selected.
The reason you see the generic NEF icons without preview is that the cache for that folder was built when you still had an older version of ACR that did not support your camera.  That's why the cache needs to be purged (refreshed) now.
Humor me for a second and perform the following experiment:  Select all the generic icons you see in the Content panel in Bridge and right-click on them in order to call the "Purge Cache for Selection" command you had discovered earlier and mentioned in a previous post.  You should see the icons turn into thumbnails before your eyes.
Now you can just use the "Purge Cache for this Folder" command on any other folder containing generic NEF icons without having to select the individual icons at all.
If you already have a bunch of folders harboring generic NEF icons, go ahead and use the central Purge Cache command in Bridge preferences to purge the entire Bridge cache on your disk in one fell swoop.
Hope this helps. Let me know.

  • Camera RAW update issue with Bridge CS6

    Hi folks,
I recently installed a routine update for Camera RAW 8.4 and now have a bunch of issues with Bridge including -
    - No previews or ratings showing
    - Ratings filter not working
    - Can't open images directly into Camera RAW without first opening Photoshop (ie - keyboard shortcut not working and File menu command "Open in Camera raw" not available)
    - Can't access or open Camera RAW preferences
I've tried resetting Bridge to default settings but didn't help and ACR still works fine opening in PS. I've attached two screenshots to show the problem better.
Anyone else having these problems? Any solutions?

This should fix it: Camera Raw 8.4 | No metadata or Camera Raw edit

  • The camera raw button in Adobe Bridge has quit working and all my camera raw files are hidden by a c

The Camera Raw button in my Adobe Bridge has quit working and all my raw files are hidden by a cover that says PEF and has a camera raw icon on it.  I can open the files in camera raw if I double click on the file but I want to see the files and be able to use the camera raw button.  How can I fix it?

This means you have not the correct ACR plug in to support your PEF files or no ACR plug in installed at all.
In photoshop go to the menu Photoshop / About Plug ins / Camera Raw.
Here should be showing the version number of your ACR plug in (only 1 version should show btw)
Then go to this site and check wether your camera is listed and what minimal version you need to open the files:

  • Camera Raw stops functioning in Bridge CS6 after software update.

I'm running Mac OS X 10.9.2 and just installed Adobe's Camera Raw 8 update.  Immediately afterwards, Camera Raw was disabled/greyed-out in Bridge CS6.  Even the Camera Raw Preferences dialog was disabled/unresponsive.  What went wrong?

    Same here,
I'm using CS6 Master Collection with Mac OS X 10.9.2 and installed update to ACR 8.4.0.199.
    Since then I
    - don't see the ACR adjusted icon in Bridge
    - don't see changes made to pics in ACR in Bridge preview
    - don't have right-click option to open in ACR from bridge
    - cannot rotate RAW files in bridge (all commands grey'd out)
    - cannot apply last ACR settings (no such command on right-click)
I can however open RAW files from Bridge via double click.
I have a different hard drive with OS 10.6.8 and same installation of CS6 Master Collection, but NO upgrade on ACR. That one works as expected without any problems.
I'm in urgent need of a solution, since always switching the OS is in no way a workflow on a professional workstation.
    Yours,
    Ray

  • Photoshop CS5 Clicking Done in Camera raw only returns to Bridge

I have th  latest camera raw and pshop.
Since i loaded CS5, bridge will not open in pshop, but only returns me to camera raw when I click done or ctl-click done.

  • Latest Camera RAW not working from Bridge

Just update Camera RAW today. Tried to open a NEF file from Bridge to the new Camera RAW and nothing happens. Just get a warning tone. Attempted to open the Camera RAW preferences in Bridge. Window does not open.
The only way to open Camera RAW is to launch the NEF file into Photoshop.
Rebooted my MacBook Pro. Ran Disk Utility to repair permissions. Didn't help.
So is this version of Camera RAW flawed?

    Excellent! Thanks ssprengel!

  • Why do Camera Raw mods show in Bridge CS6 on one machine but not the other?

Bridge CS6 and Photoshop CS6 are activated on our two MacBooks.  Before adding the second activation, image modifications performed in Camera Raw (8.4.0.199) would show in Bridge on our MacBook Pro.  Since then, they don't show on our MacBook Pro but do show on our MacBook Air.  On both machines, when we launch an image from Bridge, the modifications show in the Camera Raw window.  Is there a setting that we have inadvertenty modified on the MacBook Pro, that controls whether Bridge displays Camera Raw modifications?
Interesting related factoid: the "Camera Raw Preferences" item in the "Abobe Bridge CS6" menu does nothing on our MacBook Pro but works normally on our MacBook Air.  It's like Bridge doesn't know that Camera Raw is around (?)

This file fixed my problem: Camera Raw.plugin.zip
It was a flaw un the latest Camera Raw updare, as described in the thread

  • Unable to open camera raw 6.0 from Bridge CS5

I just Installed photoshop CS5 and I am unable to view and open my NEF files in Camera Raw from Bridge CS5.  It worked perfectly fine with Bridge CS4 and Camera Raw 5.1.0.30.  Anyone has any suggestion other than using my old Bridge CS4. I have mas OS X 10.6.3 installed on my computer.
    Many Thanks

I have de-installed and re-installed the entire photoshop CS5 and it is still the same... I am at lost and using my old CS4 bridge for now.
You'll need to confirm that the Camera Raw plug-in was correctly installed so that both Photoshop _AND_ Bridge can access it. For Mac the only correct location that is should be installed is: the root level Library (not the user Library). Inside of the Library look at Application Support/ Adobe/Plug-ins/ CS5/ File Formats/ Camera Raw.plugin
If the Camera Raw plug-in isn't there and/or any of these folders are not there then Camera Raw is not properly installed...if Camera Raw is correctly installed then you may need to do several things...first, in the folder you are trying to see raw images, go up under Tools/ Cache/ Purge Cache For Folder. If that doesn't work you may need to trash your Bridge CS5 preferences. To do that, hold down the Command/ Option/ Shift keys while double-clicking the Bridge app icon and choosing Reset Preferences...
If Camera Raw was not properly installed, sorry, can't help you...you may need to contact Customer Service for installing tech support.

  • Can JPG Be Opened in Camera Raw if Not Using Bridge?

I love the flexibility that Camera Raw provides even for files that were not created as NEFs and am looking for a way to open a jpg when I'm NOT using Bridge.
Can't seem to find a menu command in Photoshop and using the Finder's  "Open With" Contextual Command doesn't show Camera Raw in its menu of applications.
    Is it possible?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hit the COMMAND key and the O key to open the menu that contains the choices you want.look at the bottom of the dialog box and you will see format. click on the arrows and you will see all your options ,including camera raw, which is the 5th choice.
