Datenrückgabe vom Server an PDF als FDF geht nicht wenn PDF im Browser geöffnet wird

Hallo werte Forumsgemeinde, wir haben ein PDF Dokument, welches per submitform Daten im HTML-Format an eine Webseite sendet und von dieser Daten im FDF-Format zurück bekommt. Dieser Vorgang funktioniert, wenn das Dokument im Acrobat Reader geöffnet wird. Wird das Dokument jedoch in einem Browser geöffnet, funktioniert die Datenrückgabe vom Server an das Dokument im FDF-Format nicht. In dem Fall wird versucht, die Daten im FDF im Reader zu öffnen. dann kommt folgende Fehlermeldung: Das Formular konnte aufgrung eines fehlenden /F-Schlüssels nicht gefunden werden. Wenn die FDF - Datei nach dem Senden aus einem PDF Formular zurückgeschickt wurde, fehlt wahrscheinlich "#FDF" am ende der URL. Danke für Eure Idee das Problem zu lösen.

Vielleicht gibt es eine Größenbeschränkung für die Dateien, die auf dem Server abgelegt werden können.

So, I have a collection of FDF files, which seeks the PDF template, while opened and populates the template with FDF data. Now if I need to save this PDF file, I have to do it manually clicking SAVE option. But, I need to convert FDF to PDF in bulk. So, I need some PHP based solution. The PHP script takes the PDF template and the FDF file and merges them to generate a complete populated PDF file. I know it's possible, but don't know how. I've seen Adobe FDF Toolkit. But by default it doesn't show any guideline for PHP. Please help me to write this code. I'm a professional coder. I can understand your hints and tutorials. PLEASE HELP GOOD PEOPLE.

The only reason I am responding to this post is because the poster sent me a request through the forum message system asking for my help.
Although I did populate PDFs with FDF data generated by web forms a year or so ago, I have since abandoned that kind of solution. It was a big headache. I found it far more stable and flexible to use html, php and css to populate forms that are almost as nice looking as PDFs.
So my advice is, if you can possibly avoid going the FDF/PDF route, you will be better off.

PDF-Zusammenführung geht nicht

ich habe Probleme bei der PDF-Zusammenstellung über Adobe Acrobat XI Pro (11.0.06).
Wenn ich mehrere PDF-Dateien zu einer zusammenfassen möchte, erscheint die Meldung "Aufgrund eines von Acrobat gefundenen unbekannten Fehlers wurde keine PDF-Datei erstellt".
Ich navigiere im Windows Explorer zu den PDF-Dateien, markiere sie, klicke die rechte Maustaste und dann im Kontextmenü auf "Dateien in Acrobat zusammenführen". Adobe öffnet sich, aber es kommt die besagte Fehlermeldung.
Adobe habe ich komplett neu installiert. Auch Updates gestartet. Das Problem besteht immer noch.
Hat jemand eine Idee?

es ist immer blöd, ich geb's zu, wenn ich sagen muss "bei mir funktionierts".
Aber vielleicht dies, als Ergänzung zu Bernhards Tipps: Schau doch 'mal in die Optionen und dort insbesondere den Absatz "Zusammenführung auch bei Fehlern fortsetzen".
Ich habe "wildfremde Dateien aus den verschiedensten Verzeichnissen meines Dateimanagers problemlos per "Drag and Drop" zusammenführen können.

Problem in opening PDF or FDF in Firefox?

I am using tomcat 5.5. In one of jsp code, I have used a hyperlink to open a PDF or FDF file placed in server .My requirement is while clicking the hyperlink the PDF or FDF file should be opened in browser window itself. The file is located in remote server connected through LAN.
For eg :

Where http://localhost:8080/ManuscriptCheck/ is my Web application URL.
How to overcome this issue to have the file url as such without web application url appending before it?

The right way for doing this is Create a Servlet that will read the pdf files from the remote server and stream the file contents through the HttpServletResponse. You can find an example here.

The client browser will no longer be in need to have access to a given remote server.

Opening an FDF that references a PDF in Firefox and Safari

Our ASP.NET application serves up fdf and the associated pdf files from an underlying database.
We use Fdfacx to generate the FDF with a reference (set using FDFSetFile) to a PDF.
Both FDF and PDF URLs have parameters.
When we use IE7, all works fine, but in Firefox 2 & 3 and Safari (all on windows), the FDF is loaded, but the PDF is not requested from the server.
Does anyone have any ideas?

wer kann mir einen Tip geben, wie ich die Dreiecke aufgrund der im Betreff genannten Fehlermeldung entfernen kann.
Beim antippen der Dreiecke kommt folgende Meldung:
"Warnung
Möglicherweise gibt es ein Problem mit dem Mail-Server oder dem Netzwerk. Prüfen Sie die Einstellungen für den Account „Arcor“ oder versuchen Sie es erneut.
Der Server meldet den Fehler: Der Versuch, Daten vom Server „imap.arcor.de“ zu lesen, ist fehlgeschlagen."

ich hatte exakt das gleiche Problem. Ein Anruf bei Apple brachte nichts und auch nicht der bei Arcor: Gegenseitige "Schuldzuweisung".
Testweise habe ich dann unter Mail zu meinen bestehenden Accounts, also me.com. und Arcor einen neuen von Googlemail angelegt, und zusätzlich mir Thunderbird als alternatives Mailprogramm eingerichtet.
Ergebnis: me.com und Googlemail kommunizierten reibungslos mit Apple Mail.
Thunderbird verstand sich prächtig mit Arcor und dem Rest
– nur Apple Mail und Arcor mochten sich nicht.
Und wie ich jetzt glaube, liegt es daran, dass Applemail im Fall von Arcor nicht automatisch die richtigen Einstellungen für die Authentifizierung findet. So jedenfalls war’s bei mir – und vermutlich auch bei Dir.
Nach stundenlangem Probieren hat's bei mir schließlich so geklappt:
Alten Arcor-Account löschen
Neuen Arcor-Account anlegen
„Kennwort“ leer lassen
„Fortfahren“
Dann kommt die Meldung:
„Mail kann Ihr Kennwort nicht sicher an den Server senden.
Sie können ohne ein sicheres Kennwort fortfahren, wodurch Ihr Kennwort eventuell gefährdet wird. Oder Sie können Ihren Account manuell einrichten.
Möchten Sie ohne ein sicheres Kennwort fortfahren?“
„Manuell konfigurieren“ anklicken
Dann sollte erscheinen...

Bei mir hat es jedenfalls so funktioniert.
Um das ganze noch mal zu testen, habe ich einen weiteren IMAP-Account bei Arcor mit den gleichen Vorgehensweise angelegt und Mail läuft weiterhin problemlos.
Vielleicht hilft's auch bei Dir! UND ANDEREN!

just to clarify
a) the parameter is named DESFORMAT not :DESFORMAT, there is
no : in front of the name, if you submit it via URL !
b) there are some issues with acrobat5 and IE but those are not
only caused by PDFs generated with oracle reports.

I'm sorry that you're having trouble sending a file from within Adobe Reader. How large is the file that you're trying to send? Are you able to send other files?
For starters, please try sending that same file by logging in to Adobe Send at https://cloud.acrobat.com/send via a web browser.
And, please make sure that you have the most current version of Reader by choosing Help > Check for Updates.

What are the specs to validate a PDF file? is there a PDF validator available from Adobe?

I have the following situation: In our company use a software product to schedule our engineers and inform our customers when one of our engineers visits them, to do this the following steps happen:
the software product is running on a SQL server 2008 R2 database and calls a standard function from SQL server to create a PDF file (PDF version 1.3)
Then this PDF file is attached to an Email which is then sent to our customers.
Some customers don't use email but they use a fax. For this we have use an email2fax product from our telephone provider which translates the email to a fax.
When the software product creates the email, attaches the PDF and sends it to the email2fax solution the attached is discarded.
The email2fax should send the attachment as well but it's not doing that.
When I manually send an email with an attached PDF (PDF version 1.5) the attachment is sent to the customer as a fax
When I open the original PDF file created by SQL server and save it again as PDF version 1.5, then attach it to an email and send it to the email2fax the attachment gets send as well.
When I open the original PDF file created by SQL server and save it again as PDF version 1.3, then attach it to an email and send it to the email2fax the attachment gets send as well.
When we send the email from the software product, with the PDF created by SQL server in version 1.3, to another email address the attachment is included in the mail.
some conclusions so far:
The PDF file in version 1.3 is created in SQL server and is usable in all products which read PDF files, except in the email2fax solution
the email to the email2fax software contains the PDF attachment
the email2fax software can handle a PDF version 1.3 file but not the file created by SQL server.
We gave these results to the supplier of the email2fax solution and their response is: "A PDF file is a valid PDF file when it is created by Adobe software"
My conclusion would be that they are wrong as PDF is a standard created by Adobe but that doesn't mean other software products can't comply with this standard and create a valid PDF file, but I have no way of telling them how they are wrong and without a stronger argument I can't convince them to investigate the problem.

Is there a PDF validation tool available from Adobe which would confirm that our PDF file generated by SQL server is a valid PDF file?
Or
Does anyone know if SQL server 2008R2 does create invalid PDF files and if there is a fix available to solve this behavior?
Any help in understanding this problem is greatly appreciated.

It is a high order probability that your SQL's report generator is creating the PDF, not Acrobat (which by design and EULA cannot be used in as/with server).
That the report generator outputs to an old-old version of PDF bears this out.
Wiki articles on PDF are very nice for those high level intro summaries.
To know / understand PDF you purchase and study the ISO Standard for PDF (ISO 32000-1:2008).
Rather than "PDF validation" you may want to consider addressing the appearent root cause of the problem(s).
You can change the email2fax application to one that can deal with older PDF versions.
You can change the report generator to one that can output to the ISO Standard.
(Perhaps the in-use application can be configured to output to the current version of PDF (i.e., the ISO Standard).

I need help in converting PDF to PS and back to PDF

I am using the ghostScript distiller for PS to PDF file conversions. I need to know if I can make it convert from PDF to PS and back to PDF while optimizing the PDF in the process using the pdfopt.bat. I believe that changes need to be made to idcrefinery.cfg to allow for this conversion (Using an inbound refinery "IBR" to convert certain file types to PDF when checked in through a content server). My need is to be able to optimize PDF files upon checkin to the content server. Any tips, guidance, or ANY help would be greatly appriciated.

Sounds like a question for GhostScript users, not Acrobat users.

PDF werden bei zoomen nicht korrekt dargestellt. Manche Bereiche werden dabei komplett schwarz. Die gleichen Dokumente werden beim zoomen in Acrobat oder in der Dropbox ohne Fehler angezeigt.

Was für einen Farbraum hat das Bild? (Farbmodus + Profil)
Was für einen Ausgabefarbraum hast Du gewählt?
Wie konvertierst Du?
Wie schaut die Überdruckenvorschau aus?
Weshalb verwendest Du TIFF? Verwende in InDesign RGB-Bilder als PSD oder PDF, Vektoren als AI.

PDF druckt teilweise Buchstaben nicht - Warum?

Beim Drucken der PDF Dateien werden diverse Buchstaben nicht gedruckt - dieses Problem besteht seit einem vergangenen Update in 2014 und ist seither immer präsent auch wenn ich andere Drucker nutze.

thanks for your email. I checked the files an the fronts are embedded. So this couldn´t be the real problem.
I think it can’t be the only option to print als image because it worked for al long time and now since the last acrobat update it does´nt any more.
Pls give me another option to use the program in the regular way.

Please open PDF file and go to "File> Properties> Font" and check if the fonts are embedded or not.
You might try using 'Print as image' option to print PDF files under Advanced settings from print dialog box.
