Dates & hours changed without my intervention

Hi again, I'm having another little problem with the mac and it's about the dates and hours. Somehow, the hour and date is changed whichever I chose to use automatic hour adjustment or manual.
Could anybody help me with this?

Payment due date was changed without notice

I received a text message on 7/9/15 advising me my bill would be due on 7/23/15 rather than 8/1/15. A text message is really not an appropriate form of notification first of all. If I'm 2 days late you charge me a late fee, yet my billing cycle can be changed without notice? I called on 7/9/15 regarding this along with many other issues I have been having with AT&T. I was told this was corrected and my bill would be due on 8/1/15. Today I recieve an email stating my bill is due on 7/23/15. I again contacted AT&T and I was told this change was never made by the agent I spoke to. I was apparently lied to.I was then told it would take up to 2 billing cycles to change it back to 8/1/15. So in short, AT&T can change my billing cycle without notice yet it takes 2 months to change it back? At the very least I would call this practice. I have been with AT&T for many years and will likely cancel once my contract is up in December.

My billing cycle had always run from teh 20th of the month to the 19th of the following month, with the bill due around the 17th. Several months back, AT&T notified me that my bill due date would be changed by up to one week. I got serveral weeks notice, and when my due date changed, my bill is now due on the 14th of the month. The billing cycle did not change, it is still the 20th to the 19th, but the due date move up by 3 days. Since my billing cycle ends on the 20th, and it had always taken 3-4 days before the bill was generated, the new due date now means it's due 3 weeks after the bill is generated.
If you look back at the details of the bill you have received (either paper or electronic) you will probably find a small section in there telling you that this change was coming. So many people don't look at their bill each month, they just look at the total and say, "yeah, that looks about right" and they pay it without looking at the details of what they are paying for. If there is an error in your bill, you only have 90 days to bring it to AT&T's attention, so it is in your best interest to look at it each month.

CFwdALL changing without user intervention

I have a weird problem where the CFwdALL field is being set on a shared line. I have about 5 phones with DN 212500. They called saying that their line was getting set to forwarded to 212100. At first I thought it was just someone forwarding it manually, but it kept happening after I cleard the setting in CUCMAdmin. The setting would come back sporatically.
Thinking a user was still chaning this, I removed the CFwdALL from the phones' softkey templates. (users don't use CUCMUser website). The problem still happened again.
I checked the audit logs, but it appears to only show CUCMAdmin changes...is there another log I can check to find out who/what is changing this setting? CUCM 7.1.5

mmm interesting, I'd try and look at CUCM traces just in case.
Do they have any sort of TAPI/JTAPI app, AXL or something similar in use that could change this directly in the DB??
Replication might be worth checking as well.

I am developing a control application in which in open loop the user has interaction with controls in the GUI and a generation of events begin an action. However in closed loop the controller generates the values and rewriten the values at the controls in the GUI without intervention of user in the GUI. The events are not identified within the events loop located within the white loop. I am trying to work with Dynamically Registering Events but i am not have sucess. The specific question is how generated an event when a value control changes without the intervention of the user in the GUI

Use a property node for the front panel control and select the property
"Value (Signaling)". When writing to this property, the event is
triggered.

Generate a Report Dynamically without User Intervention and Output to XML

Here's the scenario for which I am trying to find a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a series of reports that the users generate from a UI by selecting the report, setting the values for a list of parameters, and then click a submit button. The report is generated in the UI for them to view. They can print it from here or export it to Excel.
They would like to be able to schedule a report to run daily without user intervention using a saved set of parameters. The system would run the report automatically and email it to a defined set of email addresses.
To do this, we need to have the report generated in a string or xml so a Java process can read it and email it.
I see that I can change a report's template to export:xml so I feel that it is possible. How can I export a report to XML without user intervention? Can the report template be changd dynamically at runtime? Ideally, I need some way to call this same report and have it output as a string data or xml to be used by a Java process that would store and generate the report for email.

From Program1 you are calling Program2, using submit syntax (inside Program1).
While using submit, if you have correctly filled up the selection screen of program2, then it will AUTOMATICALLY get executed, WITHOUT F8.
If there is any compulsary field in program 2, which does not get populated, then it will not run automatically, or unless some special code is written in program2.
If you do not want the output of Program2 on screen, then u can use
SUBMIT Program2 AND RETURN.
In that case, no selection screen (of program2) will appear and neither the output of program 2.

There are a couple of things wrong in this procedure:
- A select count(*) to do a check for a value is not the most efficient way. If you suspect more updates than inserts, you could do the update and check SQL%ROWCOUNT for being 0 to do an insert. Or better yet, use "merge" as Nicolas suggested.
- Your input variables are named different than what is used in your procedure.
- Your counter input variable is not used and can be removed
- A commit inside a procedure is generally not recommended, because it makes it less reusable. Ideally you would let the caller decide about how a transaction is defined.
- As already said, a date has a time component, you just need to truncate or round it to get date + hours without minutes and seconds.

How to insert data into a table only when data has changed its value (when compared to the previous inserted value)

I wish to insert data into a table only when the value of the inserted data has changed. Thus, in a time series, if the value of the data at time, t-1, is 206 then if the data to be inserted at time t is 206, then it is skipped (not entered).
If the value of the data at time t+1 is 206, it is skipped also; until the value changes, so if the value at t+1 was 205, then that would be inserted, and if at time t+2 the data is 206, it would be inserted too.
What is the best way to do it without increasing overheads?

I edit the presentation depending on the audience to which I am presenting.

If you add a new slide with just a text box (therefore a very small amount of data), to an existing presentation then save, Keynote will only save the new content to the file, it wont save pre-existing content as its already included in the file.
The time taken to "save" will be very much shorter than a "save as" when all of the existing content is saved again.

Date format changes in the middle of a program execution

In my C code I have a series of select statements.
When I first get a session to the database I use the following command to set the date format
alter session set nls_date_format = 'MM/DD/YYYY HH24:MI:SS'
It works fine for a few queries. After a while during the program execution I see that the date format changes to 'DD-MON-YY' format. This results in a series of error in my code because I expect the date format to always be in the 'MM/DD/YYYY HH24:MI:SS' format.
Any idea why the date format should change all of a sudden in the middle of the program execution.

I second the idea that you should always use TO_DATE and TO_CHAR if you want to reliably convert between dates and strings.
Without seeing your code, it is hard to say why your date format is changing, but the most likely reason is that you are changing users somewhere in the code. For example:
