Dates in between

Question

Dear Experts;
I have the following sample data below

Id number(30),
date_added date
insert into table t1 values (1, to_date('02-02-2013', 'MM/DD/YYYY'))
insert into table t1 values (2, to_date('02-04-2013', 'MM/DD/YYYY'))
insert into table t1 values (3, to_date('01-05-2013', 'MM/DD/YYYY'))
create table t2_check
place varchar2(1000),
start_date date
end_date date
insert into table t2_check values ('New York', to_date('02-01-2013', 'MM/DD/YYYY'), to_date('02-05-2013', 'MM/DD/YYYY'))
insert into table t2_check values ('London', to_date('01-01-2013', 'MM/DD/YYYY'), to_date('01-03-2013', 'MM/DD/YYYY'))
this is the result I desire below
ID      Date_added       Place
1       02-02-2013         New York
2       02-04-2013          New York
As you can see, the result above is gotten from the fact that the date_added from t1 falls within the New York date range in t2_check
