Dates of photos and Events do not match!

I have photos clearly labelled with the correct original date being displayed in Events several days removed from that date. For instance, I have an Event for 8/7/10 that has photos in it dated 8/2/10 and even 8/3/10. The photos have modification and import dates that make sense, but nothing that would suggest (to me) that they should go in a different Event. (iPhoto 09)

THANKS. That seems to be related. My language (under the Language tab on this window) was set to English, but the Format (tab) should have said United States, but instead said Custom. Changing it to United States showed a change on that window where they display examples of the Jan 1 date.
Interestingly, only the abbreviated date was wrong. The others showed 2011, except for the one marked as Jan 1, 2000.

So I clicked the "Customize" button and it showed that once choice (of how to display it) as a typed-in value (vs a menu choice) and it had been typed in "2000"

So, now I have it corrected to United States, not Custom, and all the example formats are 2011 (as they should be). The days of downloaded files have all changed back to proper year, so apparently the dates were saved right, but display (and sort) wrong.

As far as the iPhoto Events having the wrong Dates, my conclusion is that this "Customized" date format glitch is the culprit: Since the individual photos each have the correct date despite the Event having the wrong date, I have to look at the Event date as merely a wrong name, not a reflection of a wrong date.
Since I gave a test import no name prior to import, just now, it named the import/Event with the Abbreviated date (which is now correctly formatted). That name should "ride with" the Event regardless of what else I do to the photos. It's just a name that gets assigned which happens to look like a Date (I could name it a date in the future and it would have no bearing on sorting or other data functions).

Published photos and captions do not match photos (correct on iWeb)

I recently added more pictures on a couple of photopages and place in a certain order. It displaced all the photos and the captions accordingly. After Publishing the captions did not match the photos and seemed to stay in the places where they were previously published. I tried to retype each caption that was incorrect then saved then republish, however some were corrected but most were not. If you click on a incorrect picture and see the full pic, it opens with the correct caption/name on the window. I also added some new captions to certain photos without captions or changed some captions and some show and some do not. Anyone have any ideas. Thank you.

Welcome to the discussion Ju
The first thing that springs to mind is caching, if you are using Safari:
go to Safari > Empty Cache..
Then try the page again, you can also put a ? at the end of the address and refresh the page. Sometimes its a combination of both that fixes it, and sometimes it seems that the .mac servers cache everything and dont serve up the fully refreshed pages!

Process order dates in ECC and APO are not matching.

We are sending Planning order to ECC there we convert to process order.I see there is diffrent start and end dates in APO and ECC.
But I see in CCR report I get error message material ABC has a different receipt date in SAP APO and SAP R/3.
I am not able to reconcile there.Message says
you should deactivate the receipt date comparison. Alternatively, you can activate the order end date comparison if the primary product is assigned to the final operation.
I am not sure how to do this.Can anyone guide how to do the same.Also what is the root cause of issue.Why I am getting this message.

In APO, if the receipt date of the primary product deviates from the end date of the last activity of the order (for example, due to an offset or scheduling at the end of a fixed block), the receipt date always identifies this as inconsistent.
You cannot rectify inconsistencies of this type by using the reconcile provided in the CIF compare/reconcile function.
In this case, you should deactivate the receipt date comparison. Alternatively, you can activate the order end date comparison if the primary product is assigned to the final operation.
You can use the business add-in /SAPAPO/CIF_DELTA3 Enhancements Comparison Report to deactivate individual comparisons.
Check for the Note 645597 in which you can find example coding with which you can activate the order end date comparison.

Real photo and memory do not match on sync

this must be a bug: ios 8.1.3 on iphone 5s:
I did a new configuration for my iphone and did not left any old photos on it. But now - I shot 12 photos with my iphone - the memory used for photos gets up to 1.2 GB "Fotomediathek"
this can't be serious!

No. Photos in My Photo Stream are saved on the iCloud server for 30 days. To save or back up these photos, you must save them from My Photo Stream to your iOS device. Select the photos and choose Share > Save Image. You can then back up your photos using iCloud or iTunes.

The Ownership has accounts like Percentage consolidation etc. Please check if you have selected the correct ones, marked as use in consolidation process and loaded Ownership data aganst those .

This problem occurs when your Legal application is not in synch with your Ownership.
See below what you have to do to fix this problem.
I am considering you are using BPC for NETWEAVER.
If you are using BPC for Windows, then you gonna have to check some other properties too. ok?
Here we go.
LEGAL APPLICATION parameters must be setup in web, as follows:
ORG_ACCOUNTLIST = METHOD,PCON,POWN
ORG_ACCOUNTOWN = PGROUP
ORG_INTCO = I_NONE
ORG_OWNERSHIPCUBE = OWNERSHIP (or the name of your ownership InfoCube)
ORG_PARENTPROPERTY = PARENT_GROUP
OWNERSHIP_APP = OWNERSHIP (or the name of your ownership application)
USELIM = 1 (if you gonna use US elimination)
VALIDATIONS = 1 (if you gonna use "online" validations entered in Netweaver)
OWNERSHIP APPLICATION parameters must be setup in web, as follows:

     ALWAYS USE UPPER CASE, FOR EXAMPLE, MY ACCOUNT ID'S ARE:   VLD_PL_INV,   VLD_PR_INV and so on.....
     This is valid for all dimensions or any other ID you gonna create in BPC.
RATETYPE - must setup and must be the ones you gonna use in your RATE application
DIMLIST2 - must use to GROUP your accounts for eliminations or any other automatic adjustment
C_CATEGORY
This is your consolidation categories used to link data you gonna load to your Legal InfoCube.
You must have C_100 for example, for your Actual Version.
You can use the ones that comes with APSHELL C_CATEGORY. It is fine.
C_DATASRC
This is just to TRACK your entries.
Create as many data sources you need and you gonna use.
You can use the ones that comes with APSHELL C_DATASRC. It is fine.
ATTENTION for the following properties:
DATASRC_TYPE - I for input (all the entries, transaction data from txt or ECC) and A for automatic adjustments
IS_CONSOL - Y means that ALL entries in the Legal infocube must be considered for consolidation
IS_CONVERTED - Y means that ALL entries in the Legal infocube must be converted to the GROUP for consolidation
DATASRC_STAGE = Y (allways Y)
ENTITY
ID and PARENTH1 must be entered and must reflect your company hierarchy.
INTCO - inform the associated Inter Company.
CURRENCY - You must inform the currency of the company otherwise IT IS NOT GONNA WORK.
           This currency ID must be setup IN ALL the currency dimensions.
In this entity you must enter:
1-All the companies
2-ALL TECHNICAL COMPANIES for the consolidation to work
3-ALL TECHNICAL COMPANIES for VALIDATIONS (if you gonna do you validations thru script logic to
have better control of accounts and values).
ATTENTION:
JUST FOR THE TECHNICAL COMPANIES FOR CONSOLIDATION YOU MUST INFORM Y   TO THE ELIM PROPERTY.
Leave it blank for all the other companies.
FLOW - you can use the one that comes with APSHELL
GROUPS
If your version of BPC is 7.0 than this dimension has two objectives.
First Objective - store all the currencies.
All you company data must be loaded with LC currency i.e. in the Legal InfoCube, you gonna see LC in the GROUPS column.
This is you Local Currency, so NEVER delete it.
These currencies must have the following properties setup:
REPORTING - Y for any other currency you insert, X for LC currency, X for Transction Currency.
CURRENCY_TYPE - R for reporting, L just for LC currency, T for the transaction Currency
Leave all the other properties blank!!!!

We are executing the IC Elimination package and we get next error:
"Accounts and entities do not match data in application OWNERSHIP failed"
We have entered the ownershipdata, post the correcta data, executed the currency conversion but the status package is error and gives the reported message.
Did it happen to anybody? How can we solve the problem?

Now I get another error:
DATA FOR CATEGORY C_100 NOT FOUND IN APPLICATION LEGAL.
Looking into the LEGAL cube I have data for C_100....
Do you have any idea?

I have lost nearly all my photos and events. I received a message effectively saying that I need to upgrade from an old base. I think I may have tried to open an event that was stored in iPhoto Buddy a few days ago.

Assuming 09 or later...
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Any idea what this errorr means? the data type of the reference does not match the data type of the variable

I am using Veristand 2014, Scan Engine and EtherCat Custom Device. I have not had this error before, but I was trying to deploy my System Definition File (run) to the Target (cRio 9024 with 6 modules) and it failed. It wouldn't even try to communicate with the target. I get the 'connection refused' error.
I created a new Veristand project
I added the Scan Engine and EtherCat custom device.
I changed the IP address and auto-detected my modules
i noticed tat Veristand didn't find one of my modules that was there earlier. (this week)
So, i went to NiMax to make sure software was installed and even reinstalled Scan Engine and Veristand just to make sure.
Now, it finds the module, but when i go to deploy it getsto the last step of deploying the code to the target, and then it fails.
Any thoughts?

Can you deploy if you only have the two 9401 modules in the chassis (no other modules) and in the sysdef? I meant to ask if you could attach your system definition file to the forum post so we can see it as well (sorry for the confusion).
Are you using any of the specialty configurations for the 9401 modules? (ex: counter, PWM, quadrature, etc)

Reboot the machine holding Command and r keys down, you'll boot into Lion Recovery Partition
In there will be Disk Utility, use that to select your Lion OS X Partition and Repair Permissions.
After that is done reboot the machine and see if you can log in.
If not repeat the above steps to get into Lion Recovery, get online and reinstall Lion again, it will overwrite the installed version and hopefully after that it wil work.
Reboot and try again.
If not follow my steps to create a Snow Leopard Data Recovery drive, then option boot from it and grab a copy of your files off the machine.
Then reinstall all your programs onto the external drive like setting up a new machine, then use Disk Utility to erase the entire internal boot drive (select the drive media on the far left, not the partiton slightly indented) format Option: GUID , 1 partition OS X Extended and then use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the external to the newly formatted internal drive. Once that is finished reboot and disconnect the external drive.
Once you go that, boot into Snow Leopard and update to 10.6.8, use the AppStore and option click on Purchases and download Lion again and install.
Lots of work, but there is no Lion disks.

Tried to reinstall iPhoto library from external hard drive, it shows that the photos and events are there but there are no thumbnails and if you click on an image or video nothing comes up.

My hard drive crashed recently and we took it to apple to get repaired. The apple employees said that they would have to replace the hard drive but they didn't have the equipment to get the data off my hard drive. So I took it to a computer store who had the right equipment after a month and a half of waiting they finally got all the data off my hard drive and put it on an external hard drive (Seagate Expansion Portable Drive). I then took it back to apple who replaced the hard drive. Now I'm in the process of reinstalling everything. I have never done a Time Machine back up or backed my laptop up to . Which I now will do very often once I've reinstalled everything. I have reinstalled all of my desktop images and folders as well as my iTunes library with no issues. However when i went to reinstall my iPhoto library it came up blank. I then Rebuilt the library several times and this was the result.
It shows that the photos and events are there but there are no thumbnails and if you click on an image or video nothing comes up.
Please help i have three years worth of images from holidays on here and would be devastated if i lost them.

iPhoto cannot find the thumbnails or the original pictures.
Go to your iPhoto Library in the Pictures Folder.
Right-click on it and from the resulting menu, choose 'Show Package Contents'.
This will bring you inside the iPhoto Library package. There you should see a Folder called Masters. Within that, there should be folder containing your actual photos.
Are they there?

On old macbook photos would just go into iPhoto my hitting iPhoto button. On the Mac Pro when I hit iPhoto button they "swish" into some document file on dock and I can't get them into my photos and events. Can anyone please help. Gabrielle

I am having major trouble trying to get photos into IPhoto. On my old macbook, I just had to hit the IPhoto button - I have hundreds of photos and events but now I have this MacPro when I hit the Iphoto button the photos just "disappear" into a document file on the dock and the photos are all contained in some kind of arcs....I'm not computer literate and spent 2 years in one on one just learning IPhoto Could some one out there please help me.?

What version of iPhoto are you using? Where are the photos coming from that go into the document on the Dock? What iPhoto button are you referring to?

Storage Breakdown On iTunes and iPhone Do Not Match Up

I will preface this question by providing the following information:
Computer Information
Model: MacBook Pro, mid 2009, 15 inch
Capacity: 1 TB
OS: Yosemite (10.10.1)
iTunes Version: 12.0.1.26
iPhone Information
Model: iPhone 6 Plus, purchased early 1/2015
Capacity: 128 GB
OS: iOS 8.1.2
Okay here's the problem. I was attempting to sync my iPhone 6 Plus with my iTunes library. I have about 50 GB of music which I normally carry around on my iPhone, which amounts to about half of my total storage. On my latest sync, I was told in iTunes that I do not have enough space to complete the sync. Here's what the display looked like:
As you can see:

Upon seeing this, I'm shocked that the other category is taking up so much space. I immediately go to my iPhone to begin trying to eliminate things that could possibly be taking up all this space. When I take a look at my iPhone usage, I see this:
As you can see, the photos and apps are approximately correct, but the songs are way off. In addition, the free space I have on my iPhone according to iTunes is 6.12 GB. According to my iPhone though, I have 47.1 GB (see the screenshot of my iPhone above).
Essentially the storage breakdown on my iPhone and iTunes does not match up. I'm not sure how to fix this problem without restoring the phone, which I want to avoid doing if I don't have to.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is anyone aware of a possible solution?

If it was an iOS bug I would expect to see it on the 3 devices I have upgraded to iOS 8. I don't see it on any. I would also expect there to be thousands of posts and views about it, as somewhere over 100 million users have updated. This is the only thread I have seen, and you are the only one posting about it.
Go to Settings/iCloud. Turn off Find my iPhone. Then go to Settings/general/reset - Erase all content and settings. Check your "Other". I would expect it to be minimal.

No, there are no gurantees. The capabilitty exists to retrive deleted data from an iPhone, but like many things in life it is not 100% successful all the time. Be careful, there are a lot of scam artists out there. They take your money & retrive nothing. This guy is one of the best in the business, but he does not work for people in the private sector. Perhaps he can recommend a service to you. But, as already pointed out, you're looking at thousands of dollars out of pocket whether these folks are successful or not:

Hi all,
I'm working on NW 7.5 SP07 (upgrading in SP09 isn't an option at the moment) and when running Consolidation i am getting the error "Accounts and entities do not match in application ownership".
I am very familiar with Consolidation and created consol appsets numerous times, so I am confident I have set up the dimensions correctly (with all the right properties), appset and app web parameters all look ok, business rules are good, ownership and rate data is all in correct place...but no matter what i do i still get this error.
FX, carry-forward and calc accounts all work ok, so it is simply something wrong with the ownership app or with how finance is talking to it.
There was only 1 thread I could find where others had this issue - many people had the same problem and there was never a clear solution to it ..... [Accounts and entities do not match data in application OWNERSHIP;
Any ideas besides upgrading to SP09?

Thank you for answer. I found some missing data in my ownership cube and now 'Accounts and entities do not match in application ownership' gone but new error appears after validate script in se38 'GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED'. Have you ever had this kind of error?
SAP sent me some tasks list but it seems to me that I have all settings they sent in that document.
I have a couple of questions and will be very appreciate if you can answer me.
Are additional members in O_Acct necessary? If I use only METHOD PCON PGROUP POWN in my input schedules.
