Day View Event List: How to Display Only One Day

I love Day View in the calendar, but I find it confusing to have the whole week's list of events on the left list column.
How do I change it so that I display only that day's events?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

That is not configurable in the current version.
This is a user to user forum. By posting here you are not guaranteed someone from Apple will read it. If you'd like Apple to know about this I suggest you send them feedback.

Hi Gurus,
Here my requirement is i have 2 pages.
first page having project_number lov,create and tableRN.
once u select the projectnumber and click on the create button it is navigate to secound page,here enter the data and click on the submit button it ll insert into database table and navigate to fitst page and display the data in tableRN what ever u insert the data(this part is over).
but the problem is, in tableRN displays all the records(previous records also displayed)
my requirement is display only one record(click on the submit button at the time of record only).

How to display only one row in report when...

Hi,
I've a report display in which i've 3 fields EBELN, LIFNR , MENGE. EBELN, LIFNR are from EKKO table and MENGE id from EKPO table .
         On clicking the EBELN there will be getting another report in which we get EBELN,EBELP and MATNR and MENGE from EKPO table .
       The problem is while displaying 1st report if the purchase order has two items in EKPO table then its displaying two times. How can i get only one time and the MENGE should be sum of those two item prices.

delete adjacent duplicates from itab comparing vbeln.

How to display only one message in WD

Hi all,
I want to display successful message or error message when certain action is perform.
I have my message enter in the MessagePool, say Request_Successful_Updated and value is "your request is successfully updated"
In my WD, I do this:
IWDMessageManager msgMgr = wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager();
IWDTextAccessor textAccessor = wdComponentAPI.getTextAccessor();
msgMgr.reportSuccess(textAccessor.getText(IMessage<my class>.Request__Successful__Update));
The error message appear three times in the top view, right side view and the bottom of the view.
How to just displayed one error message on just on side of the view?

Define a success message or Error message in the pool.
Use the following statement
wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportMessage(IMessage<Comp_Name>.<MessageKey>,
null,false);
Define message areas View element in your View and place it where you want to display the error message.

Chp Play lists - how to play only one chapter at a time

CS4
The setup:
2 timelines
1 menu
1 chapter playlist
3 buttons (all, wedding, reception)
I'm not seeing how to make the DVD return to the main menu after playing chp 1 (Button 2 [wedding]), if user clicks button 2 which is linked to chapter 1 thru a playlist on timeline 1.
That is, I can set the end action of timeline 1, I can set the end action of the playlist, and I can set the end action of ch1 by way of the playlist panel.
It appears ch1 wants its end action set to start playing chp2 (button 3 [reception]) to provide thru play if the `All' (button 1) has been used.
How then can cause chapter one to be played and at the end return to main menu instead of going an to button 3 as It would if user had hit button 1.
(all).
What I end up with is a situation where if user wants to view only chapter 1 by hitting button 2 (wedding).... it still continues on to button 3 (reception) at the end.
Since I needed this project done now... I took the hardway around and ground out another piece of video containing only chapter 1.
Now I get the result I was after, but it seems very inefficient. Ch1 on in the playlist is just setting there unused and I suspect there is a smarter way to do it.
To cut down on the amont of data on the DVD, I guess I could have gone ahead and made a piece of video contaiing only ch 2 (button 3 [reception]).
But still that too, although I've saved considerable data being written to DVD, it still seems pretty inefficient. And I suspect the playlist is provided just so I don't have to do it this way.
Can anyone outline how to deal with multiple chapters so that the DVD returns to the main menu after chp1 or any other chapter that has chpters following it. (If user so desires)?

Yes I have. Are you saying that if I set the End action of ch_PlayList to last menu, that then when a user hits button 2 which is linked to chp1 on the playlist, that play will stop after chp1 (button 2) has played?
As apposed to what I have done as descripted... setting Ch_plylist end action to Main menu/default.
In that setup pressing buttob2 ends up playing right thru the whole thing rather than stopping at the end of ch1.
PS - I'm busily coping a project to a test area now, but how can test that without having to play clear thru chp1 to see what happens?
OH Wait.. are you saying NOT to include chp2 in the playlist?.... ahhh now that makes sense.

I have the problem on Role , Normally, we will create the user and add in the group . And then to assigned role in group. However, the user can add in many gropus. Sometimes , the role will be assinged double. And show in the menu the same. How can to make the role which double not display.

if this is really the same role than this role should be assigned to the user only once -- regardless of how many groups this user belongs to and how many times this role is assigned to the groups.
You can check this by searching for the user and clicking on assigned roles (with the recursive flag activated). Then you should see the role only once.
If the rolename is different however, then you might have to work with MergeIDs (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/53/89503ede925441e10000000a114084/frameset.htm)

BTW, why you want to display only one item in the list.
If you are sure that the list will be having only one item, why don't you have it as inputText/outputText
How do you filter out the item to be displayed in the list? If that filtering is done on listdatasource bound to the list, the list will automatically show only one item(i.e, the filtered item)

For the amount field / quantity field in the field catalog give DO_SUM = 'X' for WHOLE total
For SUBTOTAL
For subtotal you will have to create an internal table sort..Let's say you want to do subtotal for each customer..

Displaying metadata, how to display ONLY the Date

I would like to display the Date below each image in Aperture 3. When I select "Date" in the Browser & Viewer Metadata window, the result is a very long string with the Date, the Time and the Time Zone. meaning that most of the time I see nothing because the string is much too long to be displayed...
How to display ONLY the Date ?

In the past I used Expression Media and the config for displaying such info was better.
Aperture has a strange interface for it (and for other parameters), it does not behave at all like an Apple software (for the GUI), probably an external development team... but I agree it is more complex than iPhoto.

On the bottom bar of the window (on the left iPhoto 11, on the right in other versions) note the slider. Drag it left.

Hello Tim, would barely fit in this situation since this code resides on the client’s interaction side of things. I’d recommend using JavaScript for this matter, e.g. var Data_FName1 = document.getElementById(‘Data_FName1’).value;. If you still opt for using CFML, then you’d go for proxying your JavaScript code to a CFC.

Display only one variable in the header and not column in WAD

my requirement is to be able to display only one variable in the report output header and hide the others. I am able to display all by using the INFO FIELD ITEM and saying variable display ON - but the requirement is very specific for only one variable display.

Hi,
You can insert a text item and Turn off the others or Hide these from Filter pane I have done that and then use that query for your WAD.
Steps:
1. Uncheck all the variables from your Design item in Analyzer.
2. Insert a New Text Item and check the Variable you want to display.
3. Go back and run the Query.
Even you can change the position in the Query and Save as a workbook.Let me know ,if this works.

We have to restore all 50 GB database if we fail in scripts meanwhile to start again the data load.
Out scripts populater only two tablespaces.
That's why if i take backup of those tabblespace then i have to restore only those tablespace not whole database.

MSS iView 'Team Calendar' display only one Month

The Managers want to see at least 3 months for the leave , in order to schedule resources/coverage .MSS iView 'Team Calendar' display only one Month . Can we change the number of months ? or use another tool/functionality via the portal ?

In SAP standard config there is no option so as to display more than one month on in Team calender iView.
In you case you will have to do development.
