"Days on Hand" in MB52?

Team,
I need a reprot that will include the field, 'Days on hand' from MD04 (MDSU-BERW1) into the MB52 report (Display of Warehouse Stock).
The user have always had to download these information from the MB52 report and then run MD04 material by material in order to get the Days on Hand (which is also called Actual Coverage). This is a very tedious process.
I will appreciate it if anyone can help out; or If SAP has a standard report that does this, please let me know.

SAP has many standard analysis reports in Inventory controlling. Few of them can be found under T code : MCBA (Plant level), MCBC ( storage location level), MCBE (material level).
You can add a lot of Key figures from the list under USER settings. There is a key figure (Total stock coverage) which would help you. In this report you can use drill down options to display the report via various characteristics.

Make them understand that this not a logical requirement as you can't establish a link of PO/STO for stock in hand.
Let me tell you why it is so..if suppose you have received goods against 2-3 PO/STO & Now you are issuing goods (stock transfers/Billing/Transfer posting/Goods Issue etc), at that time system does not consider the corrosponding STO/PO against which goods are received.
Inventory of material will decrease based on batch/valuation type which you have selected.
Refer Tcode ME80FN click on Change Veiw & select Purchase Order History with this you can get STO/PO-GRN Qty & Value details.
Last button on Application tool Bar it is in line of filter, total etc icons

Such a sad day.

Today was the day I handed over my iPhone to a friend of mine in return of $300. Kind of upset that I'll be stuck with my old crappy Krazr for the next few weeks, but oh well. I did another sync before I gave it to him, so I'm hoping all my stuff that I previously had on my original iPhone will be able to be loaded onto the iPhone 3G as soon as I plug it into iTunes.

Why would you say that.... I'm sure he/she had a very good reason to buy it. i.e. Not everyone is in a 3G network and the old iPhones will be upgraded to 2.0 as well .
If you ask me, it's a pretty good deal all around.
I'll be looking to do the same in a week or two.

Battery Draining and Handset heating up

I am using the blacberry curve 9220.
Now a days, the hand set is heating up and the battery is draining very quickly. I dont want to change the hand set.

have you downloaded any app recently before this issue happened? try deleting the last app you download if you suspect that's the culprit. The best thing I could suggest is make sure you have the Lastest OS for your device.

Are these videos just posted to admit there are crucial quality issues with these products?
I don't really see any useful troubleshooting tips.
A1 doesn't power on, so the solutions are:
Press and hold power button
Reboot to recovery mode
Reboot and factory reset
If the device doesn't power on, how are any of these options even viable?
Same with K1, but at least that video says to contact support center.
I have the A1, K1, and Lynx. They've all had various issues, and I wouldn't classify any as being anywhere close to the top in their respective category.
My A1 has been surprisingly solid, but whatever special skin Lenovo has loaded refuses to play any videos that I've encoded - even though they play flawlessly on all my other Android devices (ranging from 1.6 up to 4.2).
My K1 was supplied by my company as a test unit. My CIO played with it for a couple of days before handing it over, describing it as a "brick," and a "steaming pile of poop." It's nearly impossible to keep charged and/or turn on. However, it does make a nice mirror sitting on my desk.
My Lynx had too many quirks and issues (charging, touchscreen not working, and screen bleeding) that I decided to return it since I was close to the end of the 14 day return policy.
Are the quality issues isolated to the tablets? I keep hearing about Lenovo quality, but that all seems to be isolated to the laptop division.
I like Lenovo designs and really want to support them, but their tablets don't seem to be much better than Archos (and unforunately that is a bad thing) - good designs and concepts, but poor quality and implementation.

Just found out liquid has been spilt on my MBA 2013 13"

Bought my MBA four weeks ago from the UAE Apple Store (adds to the aggravation of the story) and last night a little bit of liquid (I'm guessing Vodka) got split over the keyboard and trackpad.
I only realised today, as my keys on the right side of the keyboard felt like they were harder to press than normal, and felt sticky. The same problem applies to the trackpad. Also the backlit keyboard is no way near as bright as it was, even at full bars it is dimmer than what one bar would have once provided.
The actual Mac seems to be running absolutely fine.
My worry is that over time the keyboard or trackpad may stop working and the problem may stem from this situation. Plus it’s very annoying to have to 'live with' these problems only a month after investing into this beautiful machine. Ideally I would like to give in the MBA and have them clean up the problem, so it does not haunt me in the future. I am flying back to the UK for university in a few days so handing it here does not seems like an option for now.
A few questions;
1) Does buying a Mac from the apple store automatically mean it comes with warranty?
2) Would warranty cover this?
3) If so, is the warranty international?
4) If not, is there anything that anyone could recommend to help me?

No warranty is cover any liquids spill by ur own fault,this only apply just defect machines and what you have done now is damages most parts inside,yes ur right can not working later as the parts become corrode/rust.Just clean as u can do now until not working,very costly when needs repair (could replace whole keyboard) or u may can do is bring to apple store or any comp store for a check up on ur own cost...remember next time never eat or drink beside the machine,other mac user have same issue like you and required repair or replace new mac on their own cost...sorry for bad news.

FPM - Trying to get it work on Service Pack 13

I came across the FPM today. Since I had to create a new simple application today I gave FPM a try.
Basically my application would contain two views:
1. A tree illustrating a HR organisation structure
2. A table listing documents based on entry selected in the tree
I probably need the tree soon again for some other application so I wanted to put the tree and the table into 2 different web dynpro components for reusiability. Without FPM I would have created a 3rd WDA component. The main function of this 3rd component would be to pass the lead selection (an OBJID) from the tree to the table view.
If I understood the concept of the FPM framework correctly, the FPM_OIF_COMPONENT could help me with this passing of parameters between both WDA components and would even offer a lot more nice features.
I played around with FPM_DEMO_FLIGHT_OVERVIEW and finally managed to create a configuration that would pass the values. But then things became difficult and maybe someone can help me with my questions (I check already all documents in the library, forums, weblogs and wiki dealing with FPM):
1. Is a good idea to use FPM without having the Enhancement Package 1? The few tutorials and documents I found contained screenshots which look completely different to mine.
2. In the example I could see how a button is being defined, but they wont show up in my application: to be more accurate: once a refresh button showed up but just disappeared again. I guess now, that there is some error in my configuration, but instead of telling me, that there is an error, FPM just ignores my button.
3. Can I never navigate back to the initial screen? In my application that would be a requirement for easy selecting another element of the tree.
4. In the Flight Demo the DELETE_OBJECT button calls the CONFIRMATION view: how is the button linked to the view? In the component controller of the Flight Demo almost all methods of the interface IF_FPM_UI_BUILDING_BLOCK are empty.

I would be more worried bout SP13. I'm not sure the functionality of FPM is really complete on SP13. I've done FPM application on SP14 but never SP13. It is true however that the design tools were significantly enhanced and simplified in 7.0 EnhP1; so SAP really recommends that customers wait until the EnhP before doing a lot of FPM development.

Hard to say without seeing your application and configuration. I've never had this happen to me. Once I activated one of the standard buttons in the config. they have always appeared for me.

Sure - Look at the SDN Mentors' Hands-On Workshop for an example that does this ( SDN Community Day Mentor Hands-On Workshop and http://code.google.com/p/sdn-mentor-handson-2008/downloads/list ). I use the standard Start Over button. It fires validation and if passed will return to which ever UIBB you have defined as your Initial Screen.

Many of the standard buttons will first fire validation methods and then if they haven't received a flag not to continue they will follow their configuration to the next step. In the case of the delete that would be to go automatically to whatever UIBB is configured for Confirmation.

Mavericks 10.9.2 Junk Filtering radically broken

Mail under Mavericks (latest update as applied by App Store, verified multiple times that I have latest version of the OS, 10.9.2) has radically broken mail app junk filtering.
If I do the following I will have at least 90% of the messages sent end up marked as junk on my primary system, the last 17" MacBook Pro series made, however, even my less than one year old MacBook Air will exhibit similar behavior, just not at the extreme frequency of mail junk filtering failures as on the main MacBook Pro:
Create new email message addressed to myself
I should add that I have BCC myself set on all of my mail accounts
Add photos and Hit send (I use this process as a simple way to gather images from a number of folders on various backup drives and send the selected set of images in one group that I can then easily export to iPhoto (or Aperture)
Message sends
Message never appears in my inbox, neither the TO: nor BCC: appear
Check sent folder and find that the message is IN the Sent folder, with brown header indicating that I Marked the message as JUNK, I did NOT do so
I have reset all rules, no change, disabled junk no change (yes with Junk DISABLED the above will happen), I have used the advance option and edited the rules to try and simplify the settings to the bare amount, all with no discernable changes. I have even added rules that explicitly state DO NOT consider as junk any messages containing my domain name for example, still no change.
Even though I have marked LEAVE JUNK MAIL IN INBOX it is inconsistent, mail I send to myself the majority of times will be in the sent folder, other email that mail app marks as junk MAY be in my inbox, but not consistently.
Even email I have marked multiple times as Not Junk continues to be marked as Junk (for example NO email sent from my work domain to my work domain email should ever be marked as junk, yet it is, but always inconsistently, that is out of 200 hundred plus emails a day, a handful will be marked as junk, in some cases the exact same sender will be marked as junk on successive days with me marking each message as Not Junk, then for a period all email will be delivered as intended, only to have stuff from the previous email sender start appearing as marked as junk again).
When I have ENABLED Junk filtering I have verified that all check boxes are as have been suggested in other threads here
Again, even DISABLING Junk filtering still results in the inconsistent delivery of my own emails to myself
As an experiment, if I send the message from my gmail account USING mail app to compose and send the message (NOT using the web interface to gmail, but the mail app native gmail account setup) sending the message to my personal domain email address it appears the problem never exhibits. The BCC shows up in my gmail account inbox, and TO: message appears in my primary personal domain account inbox. I have tried this at least four or five times and so far it has never failed to deliver the message, and never has marked as junk. However, based on the inconsistent behavior of junk filtering with my work domain email I would not be willing to bet that using gmail to send to my personal domain account would not have some junk filter mistakes as well.
This has gotten bad enough that I would gladly go to another mail client, but any alternative client needs to support at minimum the following:
Must support FULL iPhoto (or Aperture) integration, this means not only ability to send email from iPhoto, but ability to EXPORT images from a mail message into iPhoto, as well as select Photos from media in finder sidebar and have iPhoto browser open to SEND images via email as alternative to sending from iPhoto directly
Must support Exchange (used for my work domain email)
Images in attached message should allow mass saving to file system folders as well if desired, in addition to exporting to iPhoto
I Have tried several alternative email apps for OS X. Postbox seems to be the only one that claims any iPhoto integration at all, and it is marginal at best, and does not seem to support exporting images directly into iPhoto regardless. Postbox also had some other weirdness, some options from mail seem to be just missing (for example if BCC myself on all messages exists I have not found the setting), loading messages with any attachments was much slower than mail, etc. But if there was a way to get Postbox to work better with iPhoto I would be willing to give it a try.
I have even wondered if maill app and/or preferences are corrupted. I have a ton of email that would be painful to lose (I do use Mail Steward to back up email from previous years, but it would be a fair amount of work to completely back up all of my accounts and delete everything and restart using Mail Steward, but that might be my only option). Even if I did totally kill all my preferences and deleted the entire mail section in /Library it is not clear if there is any way to reinstall just mail. Or do I download the entire OS X Mavericks installer, run that and hope it reinstalls mail app and start all over? I am willing to even try that, if I had a reasonable expectation that it would actually correct anything. But I suspect based on what I have seen here and on the web that this is a fundementatl break in the mail app code.
As an alternative, is there a terminal command I can try to use to totally eradicate and shutoff mail app junk filtering since the control in preferences to disable junk filtering is not working, at least on my system?

I did some additional testing last night. Setting Junk to DISABLED, closing mail and re-launching mail, and then sending myself a message from the same account STILL ends up with the message marked as JUNK (in fact it indicates I marked it for junk, which clearly I did NOT so mark my own message sent to me as junk) with the message marked as junk sitting in the sent folder. Setting junk filtering back to ENABLED, exiting mail and re-launching again, still no change. I again RESET all junk rules and learned behavior, tried sending myself a message again, and still had the same failure. I have verified the various settings that have been proposed in other threads in this forum, no joy, same behavior. It simply appears that email sent from your own account to yourself is frequently (if not 100% in recent testimng) tagged as being junk, and that simply is nuts.
Mail is fundamentally, radically broken since one of the latest Mavericks releases. (I think this actually started in 10.9.1, but I know for certain it is 10.9.2).
I fail to see how ANY setting of rules, et al, can be at issue here. When junk filtering is DISABLED nothing should ever be filtered as junk, period. In reality mail is still being impacted by the junk mail filtering, regardless of any setting, including totally disabling junk mail filtering in mail preferences.
Add in that in the latest versions of mail (again for at least the last two major 10.9 updates, if not longer) deleting messages is inconsistent. I have had messages I have deleted reappear in one of my folders multiple times. The most common are messages popping back up in the DRAFTS folder, where I have a copy of the message in my sent folder, and the recipient of the message acknowledges receipt of the message. Clearly the message is NOT still a draft. I manually delete these spurious messages and in some cases the same messages reappear back into mail in the drafts folder again!
I love Apple products, and support the company and their technology, but mail has some significant issues, and regrettably there does not appear to be any viable alternative that really integrates with the rest of the OS X environment as well, leaving us with either a badly broken mail client, or significant downgrade in functionality moving to a different client.

Metadata&Smart playlist/playlist folders freezing malfunction

This problem started pretty soon after I updated to the latest version of Itunes (11.1)
So, I'm going to try to word this in a way that isn't confusing... but the problem is with smart playlists in playlist folders that are then within another playlist folder. Or I guess it's simpler to say... playlists within playlist subfolders.
For example
Folder: Classical
Subfolder: Mozart
Playlist 1 - concertos
Playlist 2 - symphonies
etc
So, what is happening is that if you try to edit any song's metadata in a smart playlist within a subfolder of a folder, itunes freezes immediately.
If I move the smart playlist out of the subfolder and into the main folder, I am able to edit metadata without any freezing or other problems.
This really doesn't make sense to me... any help out there?

I don't have the bandwidth for iCloud integration for AppleTV, but since my local smart playlists were getting it wrong, I kind of freaked out. I fixed it, though, by moving my iTunes Library.itl from my last working clone of ML to the iTunes folder on my Mavericks installation.
I had updated only a few items since it stopped working correctly, and I had nothing to lose, as AppleTV without properly ordered playlists is basically a sleek hokey puck. I don't know why I break down and finally post the issue here after days of hand-wringing and tears of blood only to then try the one thing I hadn't thought to try before.
If anyone else is having trouble with the smart playlists not ordering properly on Apple TV, maybe this will help. Try replacing the ITL and XML files.

House Move Nightmare

I have recently moved house into a new build property.
My wife called BT & arranged the line to be transferred and we were told that this would not be a problem. We also have been Bt Infinity Customers for over a year. As we decided that we were going to get rid of Sky TV, we also ordered BT Vison to go along with our other BT products.
Anyway to cut a long story short, we were scheduled an appointment on the 27th February between 1pm & 6pm. We received 3 emails a few days before hand advising us that we should be in and be able to make desicions about where the equipment would go etc. Well, after my wife waiting in all afternoon (and paying for a taxi to pick the kids up from school) we didnt receive a visit. My wife called that evening to ask why they hadnt been and was told that someone would call her this morning.
Someone called this morning only to tell her that someone else would call her again on Monday!!!
My wife asked what the problem was and when we would have our phoneline and Infinity installed and all the woman could answer with is "Sorry I Don't Know."!!!
We have been without a phone or internet for approaching a month now, aswell as only freeview TV - couldnt BT have sent us the box so that we could have at least been able to record programs?
What is even more infuriating is that all of the other houses in our row all moved in on the same day and have all had their BT installed weeks ago!
Any advice on how to get this rectified please? Just some answers would be nice, as at this moment in time we still dont have a clue when we will be connected!

Automatic Safety Stock

Hi Experts,
Currently MRP type is PD & Planning is make to order for finished goods.
I have requirement, wanted system to calculate safety stock automatically based on consumption value for Raw material.
Material should be further Planned in the same way, But if stock falls below safety stock , it creates a Purchase requistion.
System should calculate the safety stock rather than Manually entered.

I don't know whether this will suffice your requirements, but actually it sounds like "Dynamic Range of Coverage".
It is like you want to keep the stock of certain materials as safety stock (coverage of requirements in exigencies) for certain number of days, weeks etc.
For example, one material has got average consumption (depenedent on main requirement of parent materials) requirements of 50 pc. per day and you want to keep a supply of 3 days in hand to cover unforeseen reqmnts, then based on this consumption pattern system will automatically calculate 50 * 3 = 150 pc. extra as safety stock, often called Dynamic Safety Stock.
As & when the main requirements change for parent materials, the depenedent requirement also changes, and hence the dynamic safety stock. For example, if the demand has increased such that average consumption per day comes out to be 80 pc., then calculation of safety stock will be 80 * 3 = 240 pc. extra (as you always want to cover 3 days requirements).
If this is your requirement, then try configuring this feature by creating suitable profiles for Range of coverage (depending on certain groups of materials, like for some you want to get coverage for 2 days, some for 5 days, some for 1 day and so on). And assign the suitable profile to corresponding material master. This will work with normal PD type of MRP without any tweaking.

Calculating Daily Valuated Stock For an Material

Here is the Report Requirement:
Selection Criteria:
a) Year (Range) (Mandatory)
b) Material (Range)
c) Plant (Mandatory)
Output Columns:
a) Year
b) Plant
c) Material No
d) Material Description
e) Unit of Measure
f) Max. Daily Quantity
g) Average Daily Quantity
h) Days On Hand (Days during which material quantity is not zero)
SAP doesnt store daily stock. To calculate the Max. daily Quantity in a year we have to calculate the daily stock.
Please let me know the logic how to calculate the daily stock of the material.

CS6 - painting on 3D object showing up on the other side of the object.

A problem I do not have in CS5 - painting/stamping/blurring etc on a 3D model is showing up in unwanted, unseen areas of the model. I have tried narrowing the falloff, selecting paintable areas. Is there a setting I'm missing that fixes that in CS6?

A little of both of the above, I think. I was making textures for the avatar 3D mesh (I can't find the current links, but they're available for free online) used in open sim and Second Life grids - my work will be used in a real time animation to be shot on a stand-alone opensim grid for a nonprofit arts project. There are funky areas in that model's mapping, which I'm used to working around. After a highly frustrating morning trying to get it done in CS6, I went back to CS5 and finished it. Then I started flipping back and forth between CS5 and CS6 to try to figure out what the differences are - I'm interested in CS6 for working with the screen capture clips. I don't know the tech, but I do see now that there are subtle differences in the way the paint, stamp, erase, smudge, and burn tools behave in CS6 on 3D models. By the end of the day my hands started to figure out the differences, and although it still feels alien, I can use those tools reasonably well on CS6 now, though not as fast.

Export from HP-unix and import on solaris

Can anyone give me the procedure and constraints that are taken for exporting oracle 8i on HP-unix and importing on oracle 9i Solaris machine, Any docs or metalink notes also helps me
what are the parameters that should taken for faster export and import ...
export is for full database ..

The export and import commands are documented in the Database Utilities manual for whatever version you are running. They work the same on both OSs
Description of your requirement will help get a better response - it almost sounds like you want to migrate, but ...
in general, the syntax is
exp|imp user/password@db file=export_file.dmp parameters-list
exp help=y
imp help=y
give a decent summary of the parameters. You can keep them in a parameters file if this needs to be reproduced.
One thing - don't use 'compress=y' ... it tries to plunk each segment into it's own single extent, and that is often fatal.
