No. The Dazzle gear hasn't been particularly useful on Macs. Not worth the $, £, or € they charge.
What are you trying to do that you need a converter for?

Alright, so I have a few things to ask about.
First of all, I'm using a Samsung 1080p HDTV Monitor, and it only has one component output, being used by my Xbox 360. It has 2 HDMI outputs, one being used by HD-DVR Comcast box, and one empty.
Now, what I want to do, is use the Dazzle Platinum DVC 170 to record my Xbox 360 gameplay. However, it uses component [red, white and yellow]. I was wondering if there's something I can [that's also cheap, but good quality] that converts Red, White, and Yellow into an HDMI input, and naturally, how much that would cost.
Onto my second problem. Currently, when I try downloading the software for Pinnacle Studio, from the discs provided with the capture card, it says 'there are known compatibility issues with this product' and suggests I go to the website. If I ignore, it will not install successfully. I go to the Pinnacle website, look for patches, and it doesn't support x64 versions of Windows Vista, only x32. [which is really stupid] So, is there anything I can do to solve this problem? Or do I have to find a copy of XP/dual-boot Linux?

On the other hand, they've been saying this since I bought the piece of garbage in 2007. I don't have the money to upgrade to W7 [since I think the pre-order deal has gone away =\] and Pinnacle itself is a terrible company... Gah.. Guess I'll just have to try and get a different capture card. Waste of $120! I don't recommend the Pinnacle Dazzle Platinum anyone! -
How to configure USB camera if it is not Directshow image
Hi,
I am using NI-IMAQ for USB to grab videos from Dazzle DVC170 of Pinnacle. There is an error showing system error, see the attached file. Someone answered that it is because my USB device is not a directshow image one. In fact, Dazzle DVC 170 connects camcorders with computer. There is Svideo output connecting camcorder and a USB connecting computer. If in this case, VISA can be used to configure USB and grab video? Thanks.

For firewire connection, there is no connection on my camcorder but S video output connection. I am wondering if we can buy a firewire card to transport video and use IMAQ for USB to control this firewire or other IMAQ module to control it. In fact, I went to Bestbuy to ask about this. But the sales person told me that the firewire card can only transport video but can not be controled. I am wondering the problem with firewire card is there is no driver for this so we can not control it. Is it right?

Having a problem with NavigatorContent and Visibility
I have been working on this for more than a day, so it's time for some help... I'm not a Flex/Flashbuilder expert, so any help is appreciated...
I've got a NavigatorContent object that I want to set the visibility on based on the content of the object. Bascially, if it is empty, I don't want to show it. However, no matter what I do, I can't actually get the visibility to change. It's ALWAYS visible. I've checked the .visibile property and it IS set correctly, but I can still see the tab. So, if I get the childNavReports.visible, it will say "false" but still display...
Here's the code where it's built:

What version of Mac OS is it running? If you don't know, try to give approximations on when it was set up and whether it was ever updated so we can take our best guess.
How are you trying to boot from the install disc? Your description of 3 icons with x in a column' leads me to believe that you aren't booting from the install disc, but rather you are inserting the disc after booting from the OS that is installed on the hard drive. If that is what is happening you'll see something like this, although it will vary depending on the actual version of the Install Disc that you have and how you've chosen to view the files (icon, list, column, etc).
What happens if you restart the system with the Install Disc inserted, then quickly hold down the 'c' key so that the system attempts to boot from the Install Disc. Do you still experience the same issue? -

To Change the Backdrop

I hope some one can help me. I have an ipad3 which i wish to sync some photo files from my pc too( windows xp ).
In the past this has worked fine. However i do not appear to be able to sync a whole file any longer. First attempt 150 of the 170 where synced. The next time i re-synced without changing anything even less files were synced!!!
What is also strange is that this particular file was fine previously. I have updated itunes and the ipad to the current running systems.
Please help as i am thinking about running to amicro soft cut and paste laptop as the syncing issues are wasting so much of my time.Try to sync the photos with the iTunes alternative iPhone PC Suite and see if the same problem happens again.

I tried with your code but still I have not the control that I would have printing.
Perhaps I misunderstand the role and the means of the parameters used for set the printable
area.......
For example.. when I set the margins in this way:

I expect to have one area printable with the shape of a rectangle that, on a sheet of
paper A4 format, begin in the corner up to left in the point (5, 10) and have a horizontal size
of 180 millimeters and a vertical size of 265 millimeters.
But this is not happen..., I measured the horizontal side in 150 millimeters (instead 170) and
the vertical size in 248 millimeters (instead 255)....
Measuring the coords of the corner on top to left, I got (5, 13) and not (10, 10).
.....I tried with other values of parameters and never I got the exact values that I expected to have.
Having to print labels glued on a paper sheet - A4 format,
*I need to be sure that when the statement

I can not imagine such a function.
What is possible, is that you define the data slices according to what you want to be able to enter. so if you include several char with certain values in your data slices, your mask in the end will have the look, that certail cells are not ready for input.
Unfortunatly you can not set data slices on key figures, so maybe you need an account model.

Hi All,
We have designed an input schedule using EVDRE. Here expansion for Account Dimension members is set as SELF,DEP. In workbook options we have set the drilldown options as "Expand by inserting new rows".
The issue is as follows -
Say we have two nodes -
Node 1 (consisting of 4 members)
Node 2 (consisting of 5 members)
We double click on Node 1 and enter the plan values. The screen will look as follows -

Member 4 170
Node 2
We do not "Send and Refresh Schedules" as we wish to enter plan values in members belonging to Node 2. Hence we double click on Node 2..Once we double click on Node 2, all the plan values entered for members belonging to Node 1 disappear.
The screen appears as follows -

There are 75 to 100 users are accesing the databse simulateuosly and i recently got the error of session and process exceeded ....then i tried to increase seesion and process using OEM but i got following error
Io exception: Unknown host specified Is there any other way to do this? Can any one suggest me a best way to do this? or how do i tune it properly to acces DB without any interruption?

Hi, I'm choosing between the LaCie d2 Quadra, WD My Book Studio and OWC Mercury Elite-AL Pro, pretty similar, looks like the only difference is the Lacie has 16MB cache, the WD is unspecified and OWC has 32MB... which had me leaning towards OWC's.
The lowest prices I've found are $150, $140 and $170+shipping (their website only) respectively. So although I was convinced about the OWC it is the most expensive one.

I had forgotten about my incident, I just avoid to buy their drives; but the other day I went to a "Mac service" and saw no less than 10 of them all broken. I asked and all were PSU fails.
Not BIG deal, but when you open it to save your data because otherwise you´ll have to ship it and pray you loose the guarantee. I´ll have to read A LOT of good things from Lacie to change my mind. They charge you for an enclosure and the enclosure fails... BIG DEAL

Shuffle sometimes starts from where I begin the last time
It's hard to describe my problem but I will try.
Let's do it like this:
Yesterday I listend to my songs in shuffle mode from song 150 to song 170
Today I start the shuffle mode as usually but it don't begins with song 170 but with song 150.
And this doesn't happen all the time only sometimes.

I need to remove the pics and vids that have now, been saved on my iphone4 in many albums. Argh. I need to free up space. This all happened when i downloaded the pics to my computer.
