Db_connect error, WPs die

Hi,
I was trying to migrate a local installation to domain installation. But, it wasn't good. I tred to go back to local installation again, now I am having problem which WPs are dying when DB connect.
I tried r3trans -d, it shows errors. SAP is not connecting to DB correctly. Do you have any idea?

Hi,
wollte unter win7/64, CS5.5, Production Suite, Encore aufrufen. Wunderte mich, wieso nicht installiert. Dachte nämlich, ich hätte "damals" alle Komponenten installiert.
Also die Setup-Routine des Images (nicht die Trial-Version -- oder doch eine Trial benutzt? Mist, kann ich grad nicht genau nachvollziehen...) nochmals aufgerufen, um Encore noch zu installieren, bekomme jedoch Fehlermeldung. In Log-File dieser Hinweis:
ERROR: Install MSI payload failed with error: 1612 - Die Installationsquelle für dieses Produkt ist nicht verfügbar. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Quelle vorhanden ist und Sie Zugriff darauf haben.
Glaube mich nun erinnern zu können, dass dies auch bei der Erstinstallation auftrat, ich mich jedoch nicht mehr drum gekümmert hatte.
Da ich aber alle anderen Komponenten installieren konnte, nur Encore nicht klappt -- Frage: könnte wirklich eine Datei des Images defekt oder fehlend sein?
Oder ich warte einfach ab, bis endlich CS6 im Haus ist und dann die Probleme von vorne beginnen

kann es sein, dass dies eine der JW-Schriften von dort ist: Fonts by JW // Type | dafont.com? Ich vermute 'mal, dass es besser wäre eine ähnliche Schrift aus dem auf Euren Rechnern vorhandenen Schriftarten zu benutzen.

I have SunOne WS 6.1sp5 on Solaris 10. i specified 2 plugins in the
magnus.conf file which are shared library. One gets loaded
succesfully. But the Other cannot. Ths webserver starting process fails

Moreover, is there any way I can start the webserver in console mode. I cannot attach to the process as it is crashing during startup itself. Hence, I need console mode command to start the webserver to gdb it.

Hi,
Seems to be a problem with connection to database. First check whether your database is up or not.
Then run R3trans -d from SIDadm user and paste the trans.log here.

Can't start Mini SAP: error "MSG_SERVER died"

Hello!
I have succesfully installed Mini SAP version 4.6D. When I try to start it, I get error messages "MSG_SERVER died" and later "DISPATCHER died". I can't figure out what could be wrong. Please help!
Below is a detailed command-prompt and SLOG00 file content. Although the content of the SLOG00 file is to me completely unreadable, maybe it means something to someone. Or, is there any log viewer for this?

DATEV - beim Import in DATEV kommt Error #RE04405 - Die Eingabe im Feld EU-

Hallo,
wir bekommen bei einem Kunden seit dem Update auf 2008 SP01 PL09 einen Error beim Import des SAP Exports nach Datev:
#RE04405 - Die Eingabe im Feld EU-Land ist nicht zulässig.
In der exportierten Datei steht im Feld EU-Land 'No'
Was meiner Ansicht nach nicht ganz falsch ist, da die Journalbuchung zu einer Bestandsumlagerung ohne GP gehört.
Kann mir jemand sagen, woran das liegt?

Moin,
haben das gleiche Problem bei einem Kunden mit SP01 PL09.
Ich vermute das es sich hierbei um einen Export Fehler des DATEV-Addons handelt, denn im Exportfile sieht man folgenden Eintrag "ºNo Name ".
"º" steht für den HEX-Code "BA" was laut DATEV-Schnittstellenbeschreibung den beginn der "EU-ID" angibt. Die nächsten beiden Stellen stehen für das EU-Land und dann kommt die USt-ID, also hat er dann Probleme mit dem Eintrag "No Name".
Als Workaround haben wir jetzt die Export-Datei verändert und den Eintrag "ºNo Name " bei jedem Eintrag rausgelöscht, damit der Kunde seine DATEV-Daten importieren kann.

DB_Connect Error connecting to SqlServer

We have a BI Netweaver 7.0 system running on Itanium with an Oracle Database.
Using tcode RSA1 I wanted to create a remote connect to a SqlServer database.
The DBMS type is MSS. The error message we are getting is "No shared library found for the database"
Is this possible?

SQL server must be possible using dbconnect, a checklist for you to review in case you missed out on something:-
1. Check:-
If the source DBMS and BI DBMS are different - {your case (Oracle and sql server) }:
○ You have installed the database-specific DB client software on your BI application server. You can get information about the database-specific DB client from the respective database manufacturers.
○ You have installed the database-specific DBSL on your BI application server.

I created one web dynpro application but while executing 1 encountered 1 error below :
"Die URL enthalt keine vollstandige domainangabe (The URL does not contain full domain specification) (gcecc62 statt gcecc62.<domain>.<ext>)."
Please help how to solve this issue..

CX_FQDN runtime error in WEBDYNPRO

Hello Gurus, I have a problem with a WebDynpro. The issue is as follows
I set the parameters in RZ10:
SAPLOCALHOST = sapexprod
SAPLOCALHOSTFULL = sapexprod.grupolarepublica.com.pe
icm / host_name_full = sapexprod.grupolarepublica.com.pe
When I try to access from within the network, asks me username / password and enter Okei
URL: http://sapexprod.grupolarepublica.com.pe:8001/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zwdxx_prueba1
But when I try to log off the network, asks me username / password but I get the dump:
The URL: http://200.37.36.37:8001/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zwdxx_prueba1

I had the same problem..
I set a external debugger in the method "CHECK" of CX_FQDN where it hits the dump.
Turns out SAP does not allow IP address (not Sure why..may be there is a note for this..I'll post if I find anything)
Check out the logic..
METHOD check.

Sorry..Just found a note "1403326".. SAP makes it official that we cannot use IP.
Here is what the note says.
Symptom
You start a Web Dynpro ABAP application and immediately receive an error message due to the exception: CX_FQDN.
Other terms
Fully qualified domain name
Reason and Prerequisites
You can start Web Dynpro ABAP applications only if
the name of the server with a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) was specified in the URL. The specification of an IP address or a host name without a domain is not possible.
The requirements of a fully qualified domain name are described in Note 654982.
Solution
Start Web Dynpro ABAP applications only with a suitable server name.

Syntax Error in Login Code PHP

I am currently building my first log-in page and have come to the following issue. I am getting Syntax Error's on lines 39 & 49.
I'm sure it's something simple that I am missing here?

I fixed what you noted above and will look into not using the "die" command, I understand what you are saying about not using it and why
However, here is where I am getting the syntax errors specifically:

I believe you should reinstall the full three step way:
Uninstall (ticking the box to delete the preferences), run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

Connect to OpenDirectory failed Error 21

Hello,
i tried this afternoon to connect two Mac OX Lion Clients ( macbook pro ) to our existing Mac MIni Server Opendirectory.
In both caes i got the error message:
Die Verbindung zum Verzeichnisserver konnte nicht hergestellt werden. – 2100
The Lion server is running and our other two clients can use network accounts without any problem.
The certificate at serverside is self signed and all machines are running Lion and are updated to current relaese level.
Any help or suggestion what to try next ?

No I didn't add my self signed certificate to keychain. It is already there for mail , adressbook and caldav.
It is set to "trust allways".
Time server shows the identical time on Lion server and the client machine(s).
Yes I did it the way you describes in your email system preferences, accounts ....
Excuse me please : What is meant by directory utility ?
No I didn't try to rebuild key distribution center. Should I do ?
I will setup logging tomorrow morning and hope to provide useful information
