Db-link where network not reachable.
I have 3 servers.
TA1
TA2
PA1
I am able to create db-link from TA1 to PA1 successfully, but i would like to have db-link from TA2 to PA1 that not allowed by network.
question:
Is there any way that TA2 can get the connection to PA1 by using TA1.
I have already spoke with network administrator he refused to open that connection as it designed.
by using db links between thhree servers can we have connection between 1 and 3 by using 2. Because there is no connection between 1 and 3.
1 has connection to 2
2 has connection to 3
indirectly i need 1 to be connected to 3.

I've the following issues since my update to the latest version OSX, I guess.
My office is in the second floor of my house and using an 2,4 Ghz Wireless network all time without no issues. My Router is Asus RT-AC68U latest Firmware which stand in the ground floor.
Today I'm working from home and my connection to network lost after some minutes or trying to open a new website. I've used it with my macbook air (work) and my private Macbook pro retina. Both latest version osx. Same issues.
The wireless network is always shown in the Network settings at osx.
If i move to the ground floor why the router stand i don't have any issue.
any ideas?

If you are running Lion or Mountain Lion, the drivers are downloaded from within Bootcamp Assistant. If you are running Snow Leopard the drivers are on your Snow Leopard install disk.

When i playback a script with "test the frame" as enabled, one of my pages fail and when i get to the frame properties for the reason, it shows as "Link Not Reachable". What is the property that the tool is checking here that is the failing?

I'm relatively new to web development and I'm afraid I don't understand what static address I'm supposed to change. I tried substituting the http://www.externalsite.com with clickLink() but that resulted in a "page not found" message. I don't understand what "http://www.externalsite.com" represents since there is a different address for each logo. Could you please be more specific?

No. Find My Phone is the only way to locate any lost iPhone. However, this requires that Find My Phone be turned on/activated before the phone was lost, and the phone must have an Internet connection. If your phone is turned off, does not have an Internet connection, or has been restored, there is no way to locate it.

Sounds like there might be an issue with an application that might be causing these issues. The reason I say that is, when the phone is in Safe Mode you are able to access the Settings screens with no issues. While in Safe Mode that does block all 3rd party applications from running on the phone. I would suggest on trying to back up the device and perform a factory reset: http://spr.ly/6-182Vuo (you would want to make sure to uncheck Automatic Restore in step 3). Once the reset is complete try to see if you can get into Settings. Then, I would recommend on adding 3rd party applications back on to the device one by one to see if we can find what app might be causing this issue. I'm very new to WebLogic, so I apologize if this is a dumb question.
I'm trying to install WebLogic as server for OBIEE. My environment is pretty simple. I have two Oracle Red Hat Linux 32-bit physical machines, let's call them WLS_SERVER and OBIEE_SERVER. I installed OBIEE on the OBIEE_SERVER and tested it using the out of the box OC4J container and that worked fine.
Then I installed WebLogic 11g on the WLS_SERVER machine and I ran the config.sh script. I used the configuration GUI to register the two physical machines and an additional server object called BIServer. Out of the box, web logic comes with AdminServer server object. I heard it's a bad practice to deploy applications to the AdminServer, hence why I created the BIServer object. I associated BIServer with the OBIEE_SERVER machine.
I went to start the BIServer and I got the following error:
"For server BIServer, the Node Manager associated with machine OBIEE_SERVER is not reachable."
How do I setup a Node Manager on the OBIEE_SERVER? Do I also need to physical put the WebLogic install file on the OBIEE_SERVER box and also run the installer there? Or there a copy paste thing I do? What am I missing here?

-JoeI'm trying to install WebLogic as server for OBIEEI have not heard about OBIEE, but if your aim is to use weblogic as a server for hosting this then you definitely need to install weblogic on the physical box where OBIEE will be hosted.
I associated BIServer with the OBIEE_SERVER machine.
I went to start the BIServer and I got the following error:
"For server BIServer, the Node Manager associated with machine OBIEE_SERVER is not reachable."Again not sure what is BIServer but I think you are missing a number of steps here. If you are trying to run BIServer
on weblogic you definitely need to install WLS on this physical machine [OBIEE_SERVER]. You will then need to configure a node manager on OBIEE_SERVER machine to enable it to start remotely from the admin machine.
Link for Node Manager. Since you are in Linux you can try setting up script based node manager.

Well, I seem to have issues with WLAN as well.
When I am approx. 10metres away from my Router, the N8 doesn't connect. However, I can connect to WLAN using my Nokia N900, Nokia E52 and my Netbook (Asus EEE1005HA). This is a N-router with standard settings. I have tried changing, the channels etc. but it doesn't resolve the problem.
So is this a problem with the Nokia N8? I mean, all my other wireless devices work fine. I even tried changing the Wireless Interface type from N/B/G, to B/G but as I said before, the problem is still there.
Hopefully this problem can be sorted with a software update, that is if the N8 finds it difficult to connect to Wireless Internet.

AntonYou say you are having trouble with Studio 12.3. Did this code work before with some earlier Studio version? I suspect not, because you need to link system libraries that are not on the CC command line that you show.
First, some general comments.
1. The -xlang=f90 option should be used if and only if you are linking Fortran 90 binaries to your program. Ditto for -xlang=c99 and C 99.
2. Never use -L options that point into /usr/lib or into the compiler installation area. The CC driver knows where to find default system libraries and in what order to search for them. Specifying these directories with -L can cause the wrong libraries to be linked. If you added those options because they seemed to solve a linking problem, something else is wrong, and should be fixed.
Now some specifics about missing libraries.
Check the man page for a missing function, and see if the man page lists a library that needs to be linked. Unfortunately, not all man pages are so helpful. Let's track down one set of functions as an example of how to find the missing library.
A set of missing functions starts with "xdr". Let's try "man xdr_string". Although the page does not tell you what library to link, the man page is in section 3NSL, and some xdr functions in the "see also" are in the same section. Is there a library with nsl in its name?

The author of an application library usually knows what system libraries to link, and a helpful programmer would include this information in README or man page for the application libraries that you are using. Did you check for documentation first? -
IOS Remote Desktop App resolves hostname but throws Host is not reachable error.

I am trying to use the Remote Desktop app on my iPad running iOS 7.0.2 to connect to a server through our Juniper VPN. When I type the hostname or IP address I get an error that say "Host is not reachable". If I connect through my Mac I have no
problem when on the same VPN. I have looked through all of the setting in Junos Pulse and it is setup to route all traffic through the VPN, and I do not know of anything that would be blocking it on the network end.
Edit: I am connecting to a Windows Server 2008 R2 box with RDP turned on with all types of connections.

According to the log, your iPad tried to connect the remote server with IP address 10.100.01.01/32. Please check if it is the correct IP address of the server.
Also, please make sure that your iPad can connect to your VPN network successfully and get a valid IP address so that it can remote your internal server.

Out of no where, will not connect wirelessly.
I just purchased a Windows 8 pc. However, I take such good care of my techie things I still have an old Toshiba laptop about 8 years old, maybe a little less that runs just great, it's just the technolgy was getting a little behind. It's the old style "tablet" that has the swivel screen and was considered "heavy" accord to our standards today.
The Toshiba Satellite (circa 2005) laptop is an XP with all the updates and service packs. I keep it lean and clean with Advanced System Care, have for months with no problem. It was always used to connect wirelessly.
About the middle of February I switced from Verizon slow DSL to Comcast because we have no other choice for a faster speed. No FIOS. But, I've come back a full 180 to Verizon. However I did get a new modem, the latest advances. It's a D-Link ADSL2+ (DSL2750B) Supposed to run 3 to 6 times faster than the old Verizon modem I had. When I first connected to the DSL I turned this laptop on, connected wirelessly and it was there great going! I was even hitting almost the top speed I am provisioned for wireless. The modem is only 2 feet away but still. I turned if off, turned my attention back to the new Windows 8 machine for a day couple of days
Then I wanted to go back and check the Toshiba XP and revel in it's great performance on this new modem .... drat!! It detects all local stations, even of course mine, but when I try to connect it tries but fails and jumps to a neighbors DSL. I can however connect with the Ethernet cord.
I've been using this Toshiba Tablet for months with a USB wireless adapter just fine that a friend gave me. In fact either the internal wireless adapter and the USB worked with not a problem but tests seemed to show his gift of the adapter was a little faster, so I use it exclusively.
So neither wireless adapter, internal or USB will connect to my modem. I even tried pressing the WPS button on the modem, the one that's lets someone near log on without a password.
So there it is. Can anyone have a clue why this worked at the first and now won't? Also, all other pc's, including a netbook with XP and a new small android tablet are connecting no problem. It's the Toshiba laptop alone that for some reason ...

Jack ":-DSince the computer can connect with the neighbor's router, I don't think there is a problem with wireless connection on the computer. So it has to be some configuration or settings problem with the new modem. I would check the encryption of the new modem. If the computer can see the modem, but not connect, my thinking is that the encryption is blocking the connection. Temporarily disable the encryption on the new modem and see if that makes a difference. If it doesn't, you may want to check the advanced settings on the modem and compare the IP settings on the computers that work versus the one that doesn't.

I'm trying to connect via Hana Studio to a Hana One instance I have configured in AWS, following the guides & videos in the Hana Academy.
When adding the system in Hana studio, I get an error message after inputting the SYSTEM password:
The system is not reachable, the login data could not be considered
I've seen another post in the forum where the user solved the issue by resetting the SYSTEM password to a password without special characters, but mine is already "special character" free.
Are there others who have had difficulties when adding a new system?

I downloaded the SAP HANA Studio from "Get your own SAP HANA, developer edition on Amazon Web Services (http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-28294)", specifically at SAP HANA Studio, developer edition and SAP HANA Client, developer edition, for Windows XP 32-bit. Is this HANA One? How to know the version of HANA server? How to make my Internet or firewall allow me to go out to the JDBC port? I am just learning to deal with these computer-science issues.

I suppose you are using HANA One (which you can only launch today from AWS Marketplace and HANA costs 99 cents/hr). If it is HANA One, which version of HANA One you are using? Please make sure you are using the same version of HANA Studio with HANA Server? Instance number in HANA One is 00.
If you HANA One, by default, it will open all the necessary ports. Please make sure you are Internet or your firewall allow you to go out to the JDBC port. If not, you cannot connect your studio behind your firewall with HANA server in the cloud.
