Db lost, app corrupted.....need assistance
Have been using 2008 r2 express for quite a long time now, and very satisfied..Mid-level user..
I traveled this past week, and the connection to db was lost, services would not fire up and my everything corrupted....
backed up db to folder.
Uninstalled 2008 r2
Reinstalled, no connection, cannot start in Configuration Manager
Installed SQL 2012 now...Same issue
WHen i try to start Server in Configuration Manager, it times out....

As already said a detailed error message would help you somehow did not posted it. The thing is travelling cannot cause DB to loose connection or SQL Server services to not come online please investigate that did you changed anything in your OS recently

Am I the only fool who clicked on update all when my iPad told me updates were available? Two updates loaded just fine, but the other four never updated and now lie useless and grayed out. I had 6 Apps that needed updating on my iPad original. I hit "Update All" and that ruined four Apps. They won't download the updates, nor will they launch and be useable either. I lost Splashtop 2, Bible!, and Mercury Browser! Suggestions?! I don't want to ruin my access to Splashtop 2 for sure.
I fixed it by going through a few steps using iTunes while hooked to my computer.

My sister bought me an ipod touch less than a month ago. when he first came, he was conecting normal to my wifi, but today, he isnt. I use the same wifi at my laptop, and its perfectly working. My ipod identify the network, conects to it, but when I open an app that needs it, it doesnt work. What should I do?

I'm uploading a photobook I made to be published. I need assistance in getting it to apple. The book is assembled and gets to the end of uploading when I get an error message, an error occurred while uploading. I have been trying all night. Help!

I have seen previous versions mentioned in a pop up message before on iCloud.com, but I'm not really sure at all how it would help, as I couldn't get it to do anything.
The best advice I have at this time is to back up your work on your iOS device by regularly saving it to iTunes, if anything goes wrong you can then either load it into the numbers app again on the device or recover it via iTunes on your computer.
My syncs are immediate, I never get chance to see if it works in the background, sorry. -

i have just updated to the latest ios 5 and have lost apps and their data, can i reverse the new update to get back what i had on my ipad?
There is no need to do that, I had the same problem pal! Just do this and all should be fine!
Delete one of the app's and re-install it, then for some reason everythign is restored to as it was!

How do I get credit on lost apps?
Recently had to replace my dead iPhone 3Gs. (last night). After restoring it from a back up (PC iTunes updated) I have lost a dozen or so paid apps. I looked over my acct and it shows the history of downloads and payments. I asked the Apple Genius rep lastnight beforehand about this-- he mentioned Apple would refund my account for lost apps. If so can someone point me in the right direction on how to get this done?
You won't get a refund. Once you've paid for an app, you can redownload it free of charge as long as it's to the same iTunes account.
In your case, simply redownload those lost apps. It appears you might need to be repurchase, but at the final step it will say that you've already purchased the app and do you wish to download. -
My iPhone (3GS) just lost its apps today. It shows just a small number of the apps I had installed.
I connected to my PC to look for a backup, but in doing so I think it overwote my backup! Apple backup can't really be this stupic, can it??
I've got about 2 years worth of data for some of the apps (eg. electricty meter readings which I use to map usage against historical usage). How can I get this bacK?Ugh - we accidentally deleted an app today - lost a ton of info....I'm worried we may have overridden our data too....Please - if anyone knows how to restore data for an individual app, we need help too! Are you running with Snow Leopard 10.6.5 as your profile suggests. If so you should not be able to get to the App Store. So what do you have?
You need Snow Leopard update 10.6.8. Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1
Once you have that I don't see why not. Check your purchase listing. If it is there you can download again free. -
Lost apps like (settings, camera, pictures etc.)
II've lost apps on my ipad that you can't normally erase!! I have also lost apps like twitter, spodify, and yotube! I don't know what happened. The apps such as Youtube and spodify etc were white and so I tried turning off my iPad and turning it back on. Then when I turned it back on the apps were totally gone! I don't know how to get them back and I can't updare my ipad if that's whats needed!! Any help?!? Please?!?!?

Start with searching on your iPad by pulling down when at your Home Screen and type Settings to pull it up. Then check to see if any restrictions are turned on that maybe causing the Apps to be hidden. If all is good, then you will need to restore your iPad by following the steps in the last article.

Start here (change country if necessary) and navigate to 'Password and Security', reset your security questions using the link provided, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.
If that doesn't help, you don't receive a reset email or you don't have a rescue address, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support. -
HT204053 recover lost app purchased in the past
Hello:
I would like to recover lost app I purchased in the past.
I did an OS upgrade to iOS 6.0.1, then I got about 34 update notifications. The system failed to update after I authenticate. Through research online, I was advise to uninstall the apps and the reinstall them. After the apps uninstallation, I found that I am not entitle to the purchased apps that was installed on my phone earlier. In iTunes, I only found apps I installed in the past year.
Is there a way to recover lost apps that I purchased? I used the same apple account for the past 3 years.

Couple things to try:
check restrictions settings>General>restrictions. Make sure installing apps is not restricted, also verify age restrictions are not set below what the app shows
reset iPad: hold home and power buttons down simultaneously for 15-20 seconds until the apple logo appears, try updating again.
if still fails, you could try restarting your router but that is a long shot. -
