DB Versions certified for OEL R5 (2.6.18-8.el5)

The DB certification matrix does not seem to have been updated with OEL R5. Can someone provide information regarding whether DB version 10.2.0.3 is supported (I suspect yes) and 9.2.0.5 is supported (I suspect no)

I guess certified versions are like 7,8,9 but not as you are looking for.
Since your IE version is 8 it is good to use.

THank for your reply.. My requirement is I am planning to upgrade my Server OS from OEL 5U8/5U3 servers to OEL 6U4. And we are using timesten application 11.2.1 version as of now. So wanted to check if the same version of TImesten can we install them on OEL 6U4 . if we can install it successfully what are the dependent RPM packages we need to consider for installing the timesten application and will there be any issues using the application? .
Is timesten 11.2.2 is the officially supported and stable version on OEL6U4?
And also can you suggest me if I want to check other applications dependency like rhino-2.3 and postgres 8.1.23 version how I need to check if this applications versions are certified to run on OEL 6U4.
IT would be great help if you can suggest me on this.

Timo gave you the certification link the other time you asked, which would tell you that the latest release isn't certified, but since there is a supported Sun (Oracle) JDK 6 for Windows Server 2008, it is supported.

I would like to know what are the browsers versions of Netscape and Mozilla that are certified or are compliant for UIX.

Netscape 4.7 and Mozilla 1.7.x are certified for UIX 2.2.17.

Oracle Linux 6.1 asm packages - oracleasm and oracleasmlib for OEL 6.1 ???

I am not ULN subscriber, I am trying to learn Oracle ASM/RAC at work.
I am running OEL 6.1 (uname -rm output is: 2.6.32-100.34.1.el6uek.x86_64)
I am looking for two ASM support libraries which are compatible with above Oracle Linux 6.1 X64
Specifically this article refers to 2 packages I need for ASM support:

Can anyone direct me to a download link for the above two packages? Even if its from RHEL6.1 as long as it works?

Keep in mind that Database is NOT certified on Oracle Linux 6 anyway, so it is challenging to install. The very article you link to uses Oracle Linux 5. It also links to these very same RPMs. If you follow the article more carefully, you won't have any issues.

Currently, only 11gR2 and 10.2.0.5 are certified on Win 7 Professional or higher - Home versions are not supported.

One of our clients is evaluating the option of using AIA communication pack 2.0.1 for Seibel and Oracle BRM.
But the Seibel version they plan on using is 8.0, But the AIACOM 2.0.1 documentation only refers to Seibel 7.8.2.6.
Are these PIPs forward/backward compatible?

OC4J standalone runs fine with RedHat ES (actually it runs excellent == I do).
I don't think that Oracle will ofiicially support the ES version of RedHat. But I am not the descision maker on this topic.

What version of forms are certified for Oracle 8i?. Can Forms 3.0 be deployed with Oracle 8i without any re-coding issues?.

As an old sqlforms30 developer (ans server 7.1) with some 3 years experience, I incline to think that 3.0 would work, yet you certainly wouldn't be able to take full advantage of the facilities of Oracle 8i.
I believe you should use a Forms version later then 5.0, like I do now with Oracle 8 (not i).

The same Object Version Number for the same person id multiple times

I am currently facing an issue with HRMS tables and the object version number for employees. I am trying to write a report but due to the same object version number for the same person appearing in several row i am getting duplicate information. For example,
person id 91 object version number 32 is on 4 rows and i have no idea why...help please guys, I'm at a lost so far 50 people are facing the same issue.

The person table is date-tracked, so the PK has effective start and end dates as well.
Get the correct record with sysdate(or any particular date) and then check the OVN.
