DB02 empty space overview

Hello Experts,
We are facing issue after implementing master note for Db correction 1456402 latest version, Db02 is showing zero values.
Component level SAP-Basis 731.
Data collector not updating the data.
Searched SDN and performs all workaround but nothing works.
Kindly suggest.

Additionally check below sap note
SAP NOTE 1850382 - DB6: Incorrect Data on History Screens, which contains corrections for SAP BASIS Release 7.31

To refresh the table space overview do :
DB02 ->Refresh->there you will find two options choose second one
And it will refresh the tablespaces.
Or you can also schedule update stats job daily to update it automatically.

U will get all the details of table spaces in the importing parameter TD110 of that FM.

When I executed DB02 t-code. I got zero values in the fields (Database, Users, Tablespace, Segments)
I got the same with ST04 -> Space Overview.
So, Please tell me the solution for this.

As per your guidance, I tried to check SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR job which is scheduled hourly.
It is executed successfully. But, When I checked the Job Logs , I found something wrong in this. I mention this as below:

Delete empty space in PLD footer

Hello,
In my report done with PLD I have the following need:
For example the footer contains 3 fields :
If the 3 fields contains data, it's displayed like this:
Total A
Total B
Total C
If the field Total B doesn't contain any data, it's displayed like this:
Total A
Total C
My objective is to avoid the empty space between the 2 fields Total A and Total C when the field Total B is empty.
I already tried to tick "delete null values" and "adjust to the cell hight" but the space is still here!
I already tried the solutions given in the other threads but it doesn't work (maybe because in the threads they talk about repetitive area, which is not my case: i work with the footer).

I am sure that the above solution is not possible instead of printing in vertical line you can print the details in horizontal line like this
TOTAL A: Some infor..... TOTAL B: Some information Total C Some information
This is the solution that i have gave to the clients....

Empty spaces

Hi everyone!
I need to ensure some columns have null and not empty spaces.
I have come up with this method.
Would like to know if there is any other way of doing it.

Your statement would NULLify columns that start with empty space, but have other characters after that.Column like " helllo".
This simple statement sould do the trick:
update table_temp
set columnSample = null
where ltrim(columnSample) is NULL

I have 2 inches of empty space on both sides of the screen on all websites when using firefox. How do I get webpages to fill the screen?

All my webpages on firefox have about 2 inches of empty space on both sides of the screen, but on Internet Explorer there is much less empty space or mostly none at all. How do i fix this?

How can we remove empty space created in the flat file unintentionally

In our data flow, transactional data is flowing from one ODS(Acquisition Layer) to two different ODS's(Integration Layer) parallely. Error occured in first ODS(Acquisition Layer) i.e ODS was not getting activated for long time coz of empty space[#] in one of the infoobjects of a particular record. After manually deleting the request in two ODS's of Integration Layer & edited that particular record in PSA and reconstructed that deleted request form PSA the problem was solved.
This wrong entry is getting visible only at the time of ODS activation. Can any one suggest me a permanent solution for not occuring of empty space at the source system level or at SAP XI interface level or in the SAP BW system level?

If your ino object is of numeric type then check the condition if it is # (empty) then
replace with 0 (zero), if it is char. then make it SPACE..you can use this following statement in your transfer / update rule for the IO.
replace all occurances of '#' with ' '. (for Char.)
(for Numeric)
if COMM_STRUCTURE-XXXX is initial.
RESULT = 0.
endif.

How to add new text and an empty space before a file name with Automator

I can create a new service to add to multiple files some text before the file name but I need to add even an empty space; e.g. file name original becomes: new text(space)file name original. The aim is to add this text and space to multiple files.

How to get rid of empty space in module pool screen?

Hello Experts,
In module pool, I have 2 table controls inside 2 separate boxes in the same screen. Based on some conditions I hide the first table control. It's all working fine. But the space where first table is created remains blank in the screen. I don't want that.If the first table control is hidden the second table control should occupy the empty space. I do not want empty space in the screen.
How can I acheive this.Is there anything I can set in the screen attribute level.

As you said you have 2 sub screen areas and also 2 subscreens.
when hide the First subscreen from First Subscreen area, you need to assign the second subscreen on to the first subscreen area and a dummy subscreen on to second subscreen area, this is a kind of work around and bit tricky playing with screen elements

Since installing Firefox as my default browser, and removing Internet Explorer 9,which was awful, my Homepage screen is just in the middle of my screen with very small print and empty space on each side of it. Can the be fixed?

Three days ago I installed Internet Explorer 9 as my browser. When I tried to sign in to my email on my homepage I couldn't.
I contacted my service provider and they said that Explorer 9 was not compatible with them as it is in Beta form and also in test mode.
They suggested that I remove Explorer 9 and install Firefox, which I did. Then they said it was a good idea to have more than one browser at a time and to go into the Microsoft site and download Explorer 8.
I tried this and it would not let me go back to Explorer 8 only forward to 9 which I reinstalled.
After all of this my Homepage only fills up the middle of my screen and I have empty space on either side of the picture. When I browse, the site I go to opens up to full page, but the print is much smaller than before.
I don't know what I installed to make my viewing so much smaller or my homepage to shrink.
Also do I really need 2 browsers or can I just go with Firefox?
If so, how will not having Internet Explorer affect my browsing?
Firefox is set as my default browser and I am enjoying using it, I just wish I had my Homepage back to full screen!

When going to a website the picture was small - tried changing the Zoom size , tried Zoom Reset - the text did change size but the layout distorts - found under View - Zoom - Zoom Text Only was checked --- Removed this check mark and the website returned to normal size and Zoom worked normally again. I am 99.9999% sure I did NOT check this myself and there is no one else on the computer to cause it. Maybe this will help.

How to delete photos in a folder without causing unintended empty space?

So I like to keep photos in a typical Finder folder. The thing is, whenever I delete a photo, there's an empty space where that photo used to be. And those empty spaces add up and the result is not too visually appealing. Is there any way to remove all the empty spaces at once? Thanks in advance.

Hi there, today after the installation of OSX Maverick, i've started to experience some problems with the new dock bar. When i try to use VLC in full screen mode, i see an empty space on the top of the screen, and the dock bar on the top does not wants to hide away of the monitor. I printed a screenshot of my monitor that you can see down there, and i'd like to know if there's someone else with my same issues, or if it's me, and i just need to set up my MacBook Pro, to solve that.

I have the same problem at times. I exit full screen and then enter back into full screen. Does that work for you?

I've been working on a project . . . editing it down from its original length, but the empty space still exists at the end of my timeline. I want to remove it, since I'm posting the project online, but I can't figure out how to eliminate it.

welcome Sara to the  boards...
sometimes, we recognize 'stray clips' at the very end.. that is clip is often just a single frame of video...
a) enlarge the timeline view to max. ... anything in sight?
b) switch to 'slide view' mode.. sometimes, such a stray-clip is shown as a 'blank black' clip...
